There she stood, in front of the gigantic white diamond known as the Gem of Time. It had taken Rachael a week to travel here, pass through the dungeons unharmed, and all so she could just do more work. But the face would be a familiar one. Normally this gem wouldn't work on people who were self-taught, but Rachael was a special case. She was in fact self-taught, but she wasn't from this time. If she got her understanding of how it worked right, then she already knew what was going to happen. All she had to do was touch the gem and she would be off, right? Should she take time to admire the nature that was behind her, or should she just go? Rachael hated people, not nature. What they did to some of their own was just downright cruel and disgusting, and Rachael couldn't stand it. Sure not everyone was like that, but Rachael had seen and been exposed to so much of it that she just couldn't care anymore. Couldn't care was a full step above didn't care, it meant that no matter how hard she tried, even in her best of moods and when she was thinking about the most positive of things, she could not pull herself to care about other human beings anymore. It was that bad. A sigh escaped her lips and the doge slowly turned around.

She could see a great multitude of things from here. Guild halls, cities, towns, landmarks, mountains and more were all visible to her. The green of the grass and the trees was a wonderful sight to behold, and the scent of fresh air mixed with the cool breeze on this warm day made Rachael feel blissfully happy. A smile crept up on her lips, and she swore the beauty of the nature below her almost made her shed a tear.

    Almost.

Turning around, the doge looked up at the giant gem. She was supposed to touch this? It was a brilliant gleaming white that pulsated with a soothing golden glow every few seconds. How interesting. Rachael could feel the immense magical energy radiating off of the beautiful rock, filling her up with a warm feeling of power. Rachael reached up hesitantly to touch the gem, her hand shaking a little in nervousness before she mentally slapped and steeled herself, her palm feeling the side of the gem. Then, her body dissipated into a golden glitter and she was sucked into the gem...

The scenery change was sudden and all too familiar to the doge as she reformed and looked around. It was a clearing in the middle of a forest, one that was bordered by trees whose leaves were undergoing their annual autumn decay. Brilliant shades and hues of warm colors such as orange, yellow, and Rachael's favorite, red, all covered the trees that bordered the forest. The young girl stood on a cleared path of cleanly cut grass that lead to a circle of cleared, cut grass that was at least 20 meters in diameter. There was only one tree in the center of the clearing, just past the circle of cut grass, and it was massive. It reached hundreds upon hundreds of meters tall and wide, making it possibly the biggest tree in the world. How it hadn't decayed and died over time, Rachael was unsure.

It was night time, the moon and the stars out in the cloudless sky. The moon was full, as it always was here. For some reason in this part of the world, the moon never went through its phases. It was always shining in its glorious fullness here, and the stars were always numerous and beautiful to add onto the sky. It seemed unrealistic, but Rachael felt that the moon was bigger than it usually was. She didn't know why either. The path she stood on was bordered by beautiful blue flowers that glowed in the dark of the night. To this day, she still didn't know what they were called.

The sound of a beautiful piano piece being played from the center of the cleared circle could be heard, causing a slight confusion in the doge before she quickly understood. Walking down the path at a calm, slow pace, Rachael approached what she knew was her former mentor. The lighting here was a little dim, but the combined light from the moon and the glowing flowers gave Rachael the light she needed to see. Memories started flooding through her head of being in this exact same place as a child. Mother never really did care what she did with herself. This forest was populated by horrid creatures that would tear even an experienced mages throat out. And her mother let her play in it. She had so many mixed feelings about this place, it was overwhelming.

Rachael could hear the familiar tune being played on the all too familiar piano. The familiar yellow ears poked over the open top of the snow white piano. Rachael stopped and walked around to the other side of the piano where the all too familiar person was playing it. The woman had her eyes closed and was focused completely on playing the piece with extreme expertise. Rachael simply stood behind her, watching her fingers glide across the piano with elegance and finesse. An elegance and finesse Rachael used to watch when she was little, before eventually learning to do herself. She taught herself how to do it all too, it was quite fascinating. She also taught herself about her magic, and how to defend herself, about how to sing, and about how to be happy. The piano piece slowly came to its beautiful and emotional close. Rachael had composed this song herself, too, and then she taught herself how to play it perfectly. As the last key was hit, there was a silence between the girl and the woman who was sitting there, holding out the last note for its intended duration before letting off. She didn't turn around for a good full minute, as Rachael could feel her trying to compose herself and find the words that she should be using in this situation. And then, she turned around. The all too familiar face smiled at her, and a gorgeous yet gentle hand waved at her. Beautiful blonde hair flowed down the woman's back, and her canine ears pointed themselves happily at Rachael, signifying the woman was giving the doge her full attention. Her tail wrapped around her waist to rest on her lap, her hands folded politely on top of the fluffy appendage as she prepared to greet her younger friend.

The Apprentice of Time (Solo Job) FbjqMvW

"Hello again, younger me." the woman said, her smile warm and calming as per usual. Memories flooded into the younger Rachael's mind. Memories of the older her. Pleasant memories. Memories of being taught, as she did in fact teach herself everything she knew now, and memories of being friends with the older Rachael. She was the only friend the younger Rachael had ever had. Her only friend throughout her entire life...

    Was herself.

The older Rachael didn't budge from her spot at all. Instead, she lowered the casing over the piano keys so she could lean comfortably back on the piano. Her smile never faded, and when she looked back at the younger version of herself, she could see that she was crying.

"What's wrong?" the older Rachael asked, still not moving from her spot. She already knew the answer, because she had already been through what was going to happen for the next while. Right about now would be when the younger Rachael was having flashbacks of all the time she spent with the older version of herself, and the one thing that the older Rachael repeated to her younger self would be ringing throughout her mind endlessly.

"The only friend you've ever had is yourself." the older one repeated, still smiling her friendly little smile. "Don't ever forget that."

"Like I could forget something as depressing as having absolutely no friends." the younger Rachael said venomously, wiping her tears with her sleeves. The older Rachael only chuckled and started stroking her own tail while it rested on her lap.

"What about Lucille?" the older asked, tilting her head questioningly.

"I don't even know if she's worth my time." the younger answered, sniffling and doing her best to recover from the tears that had plagued her face just a moment ago.

"In due time, little one. In due time." the older said before patting the bench next to her, offering the younger a place to sit. It seemed she complied, as the younger Rachael sat next to the bigger one and instantaneously leaned against her. The future Rachael chuckled warmly and wrapped her arm around the little one to pull her into a blissful snuggle. The older one's voice was a bit calmer and warmer, only slightly deeper in pitch but much more smooth and loving. It warmed the younger Rachael's heart and confused her at the same time. Sure it was nice, but how did she get like that anyways? She understood that she couldn't ask, either, as that could change the route in time she ended up taking, but in the end she knew she'd end up like the older Rachael anyways.

Leaning her head on the older her's shoulder, Rachael sighed and smiled happily while nuzzling her cheek on the girl's upper arm. The older her couldn't help but blush and pet the girl's ears in appreciation for her cuteness. "So then. I'll let this moment last a little bit and then we can get to business, okay?" the older her said, to which the little one nodded and continued her nuzzling. It was a pleasant feeling to have the little one nuzzle up to her like old times. They really did feel quite happy together, like mother and child. It was pathetic really, that the older version of herself had to step in and be the mother that Priscilla could not. On a certain level, both of them considered it quite sad, but neither of them really talked about it.

"How long has it been since we last saw each other?" the older Rachael asked. The younger one slowly stopped her nuzzling and furrowed her brow as she attempted to remember.

"I must have been 16. That was about two years ago." the younger one said, hugging the older Rachael.

"Ah, so then it's been about five years for me." the older said, her petting intensifying. The younger Rachael smiled and blushed as she felt her ears get attention.

"Has it? You never told me why time flows weird for you." the littler one said as she enjoyed her petting. She missed this so much, it was unimaginable. The older her knew exactly where her weak points were, making it the best petting that the younger one has ever felt. It was almost as good as chocolate to them. Almost.

"You'll learn in time, love." the older said before taking a deep breath and sighing. She missed the younger her too. Their friendship was a strange one, as one didn't usually befriend their future selves like this. "It's been a long journey for both of us."

"One can only assume it'll just get harder." the younger one said, yawning a little and closing her eyes.

    "That's what she said."

"Hey! That's not what I meant, damnit!"

The pairs snuggling had to end eventually, and so the older Rachael managed to pry the younger one off of her and take her to the first trial of the day. The older Rachael had set up tests and trials to get a good grasp of the younger one's individual abilities. Leading the young Rachael through the forest, the older one walked at a leisurely pace as if she had all the time in the world. The younger one, having no patience, was easily growing anxious over time.

"Hurry up will ya? I've only got so much time here, ya know!" the younger doge growled with irritation. The older one just giggled and ruffled the younger one's hair.

"Be patient, dear me, you have plenty of time. You just refuse to recognize it." the older one said before continuing her calm, slow pace through the forest. Was this supposed to be some kind of test, the younger one questioned to herself. Was it some kind of lesson on patience?

"Is this a test or something to teach me patience?" the younger one asked irritably. The older one laughed heartily and bent over to examine a flower.

"No, I just like to admire the forest is all. Isn't it quite beautiful?" she asked, looking up at the younger Rachael who looked like she was about to explode with frustration.

"We're here so I can get stronger and keep my mom from dying, not to pay attention to the scenery!" the younger one shouted angrily. The older one just let out another hearty laugh and stood up to pat the girl on the back.

"Don't worry, that's what I thought too." she said before continuing on her merry way. Was she serious? Rachael felt like she was going to blow up with frustration, but she would just have to wait. The youngling forgot about the older her's lessons and tests. So annoying, they were. However, she would have to deal with them if she wanted to get anywhere with this, so she simply put up with it and followed the older her through the forest. Leaves were falling off the trees periodically, some falling on top of Rachael's head or practically slapping her on the face. It was annoying really, but she ignored it to the best of her ability and continued onwards.

As the two walked, Rachael slowly forced herself to find other things to entertain her. The leaves falling suddenly became much less annoying and much more intriguing. It seemed kind of pretty actually, how the leaves would fall and then get carried away in the gentle breeze that passed by. Quite pretty, she thought. It calmed her down and made her feel less... blegh. The older Rachael noticed and smiled down at her younger self. That was the real test, the test of realizing that there was more to life than just one goal. You can focus on it, sure, just make sure to pay attention to what's around you. It might help you out.

As the two approached what the older Rachael had been leading them to, the youngling noted that the forest was getting thicker, and that there was something else other than them there. Rachael could hear a deep breathing coming from somewhere around them, most likely from something big. The older Rachael seemed to have noticed, as her smile had vanished and she took on a more serious expression. A few more minutes passed and both Rachaels entered a new clearing, this one not so tidy as the other. The moon shone down harshly upon them, reflecting off of a lake that was in front of them.

A growling arose in volume from behind them, prompting them to turn around to see what the source of the noise was. From the shadows came what looked like a giant lion head, except it didn't stop there. It had... wings? And its tail... its tail was oddly shape, as it had a scorpion tail instead of a lion one.

"A manticore?" the younger Rachael questioned, giving the older Rachael a side glance.

"Yes, this is your first trial. I want you to fight that manticore and kill it." the older one said before walking off to the side. "I'll get out of your way, do try not to die, love~"

Rachael eyed up the beast as it started circling her. She had all of weapons on her now, her guns, her sword, her grenades... she was ready to go. Slowly taking the assault rifle off of her back so as not to startle the beast, Rachael turned towards it and prepared to fight.

Rachael furrowed her brow and attempted to see through the creature's movements, although it wasn't really doing anything to analyze. It was just circling her, waiting to strike whenever she made a sudden move. It seemed like she would have to make the first strike then. Turning rapidly, Rachael took aim with her rifle and opened fire. Most of the clip that she poured into the manticore just bounced off of its leathery hide. There were only two spots that were bleeding, and from the looks of it they were not any more than a scratch's level of deepness. The beast roared and charged at her in retaliation, swiping at her with its front paw. Rachael managed to jump over it and shoot it once or twice in the eye before having to reload her clip. The manticore jumped back and cried out in pain, giving Rachael enough time to eject her empty clip and replace it with a new one.

Now the beast stood there, looking at her with its one good eye while trying to figure out what it could do. Rachael was already coming up with ways to outmaneuver this beast. As the two thought, they also stood there, waiting for the other to make a move. It was a tense moment of silence, thought, and wait, but eventually the two decided that enough was enough and that this needed to be finished. Charging at each other, it seemed like they were going to collide, but just as they almost did, Rachael vanished completely. The Manticore skidded to a halt and instantly started to look around. It spun around frantically, head jolting left and right to try and find the doge that had vanished, but to no avail. There was a strange noise that sounded like a "FWOOMP" and a second of silence. The Manticore looked up to the source to see Rachael, and a small black object flying towards its face. Said object collided with the Manticore and exploded, blowing the beasts head wide open and killing it instantly. Rachael landed next to her older self who was clapping happily.

"Yes! Good job! I'm proud of you. You've grown so much since we've last met, little one. I can't wait to see how well you do by the end of this."

The younger Rachael sighed as she sat on the grass next to her older self, watching the lake sparkle underneath the radiant moonlight.

"Pretty, no?" the older Rachael said, never taking her eyes off of the lake. The younger one simply nodded and leaned back, propping herself up on her arms. The older Rachael looked down at her littler self and placed one of her hands gently on hers, squeezing her hand lovingly and giving her a happy smile before looking back out onto the lake. The younger Rachael frowned and blushed profusely in response, taking it as some kind of notion that the older one loved her or something.

"H-Hey, isn't holding hands for... lovers, and stuff?" the littler Rachael asked, prompting the older one to laugh.

"It depends, but most of the time, yes. And just so you know..." the older Rachael said, scooting closer to the younger one. "I might be doing it for that exact reason."

The younger Rachael's face turned a beet red and she pulled away, standing up and turning around. "N-No, I-I can't..." she said, to which the older Rachael frowned and sighed at.

"It's fine, I shouldn't have said that at all..." she said. The elder Rachael looked down at her lap where her hands clasped and fidgeted around awkwardly. It seems she was kind of disappointed, and... alone? Rachael could feel that the older her felt loneliness and sorrow, most likely at the fact that she had just pulled away and told her no.

"No..." the younger Rachael said, sitting down and straddling the older Rachael's lap.

"W-What are you-" the older one was cut off by the younger one forcing her down on her back so she could lay on top of her, her cheek resting on the older her's much larger breasts.

"I'm the only friend I've ever had, huh?" Young Rachael said, her hands coming up to cup the older her's cheek as she rested her chin on her and looked at her face. It was a quite pretty face, and a really cute one too. She wasn't sure if she should be attracted to herself like this, but it seemed the feeling was mutual, so she felt a little bit better about it.

"Tell me. How much are you attracted to me? Don't lie, you know we can't do that to each other. Both of us can tell in an instant, so don't even dare." Young Rachael asked, grabbing the older her's shoulders and pushing her up. It seemed the older Rachael was conflicted. Her eyes were screwed shut, and her mouth wasn't opening in the slightest. Did she just not want to answer or something? Young Rachael understood if she didn't but still... she wanted to know. And then the older her spoke, her tone quiet and embarrassed greatly. Heck, even her face was a bright red now.

"I like you..." she said, her eyes still screwed shut.

"How much do you like me?" Young Rachael repeated, still pinning her down.

"I like you a lot..." the older one said, shaking her head and struggling to get away ever so slightly.

"How much is a lot? Details woman, I need details!" the younger one demanded, shaking her slightly. She didn't want to hurt her, and she wouldn't, but she felt like if she wasn't careful then she would.

Her struggling ceased, and the older one looked up into the eyes of the younger Rachael. They were filled with love and care, and it was clear she wanted to make the sweet older woman happy. Older Rachael took a deep breath and leaned up, slowly but ably pushing the girl back a little so she was just straddling the older one's lap.

"I like you this much..." she said before leaning in and locking lips with the younger her and sending them both into a deep kiss of passion. The younger one wasn't even surprised, as she was fully expecting the kiss at some point. It just happened earlier than she thought. Not that she was complaining.

Both of them sat there, kissing and taking turns sucking on and intertwining theirs with the other's tongue before they eventually pulled away, panting and grinning childishly at the other. Their tails wagged back and forth in joy, and the warmth of absolute joy exploded in their chests.

"You know I'm you, right?" the older Rachael asked, still smiling with wagging tail. Tears of joy welled up in her eyes and she wrapped her arms around the younger Rachael's neck.

"And?" the other said, her arms coming around to wrap around the older one's waist. Their foreheads gently pressed together, and their eyes closed as they sat and revelled in the warm of moment. Being so close to another person felt so nice, both of them wished they could do this more often, but they knew their time was limited.

"Your first trial was easy... but now I have a good grasp of your abilities." the older Rachael said, kissing her younger self on the cheek. "We'll take a short break and then I'll start teaching you, okay?"

"Okay... but can we just cuddle for now?" the younger doge said, looking up at the older her with puppy dog eyes. The older Rachael felt like she was going to melt just looking at her.

"But of course, love~" She would answer before pulling the littler doge into a loving hug and cuddle. "I would love to spend some quality loving time with you."

Both Rachaels felt like they could just melt into a puddle of warmth and love at this point. It felt so nice to both of them... they wished they could feel more of this together, but their time was also limited, as they knew all too well. A week was the most they could have here, which broke their hearts. But... the older Rachael was still roaming around the same route in time that the younger one was, which meant that they could still meet for real. She knew that the older Rachael would have memories of this as well, and would probably want to meet her for real. That is, if she wasn't busy doing other things. The real reason they weren't already together was because young Rachael was too young before now, and because the older Rachael was busy doing... something else, almost all of the time. Younger Rachael didn't know what, but she did know that she couldn't be told, else it might mess with the flow of things.

Rachael slowly awoke to the sounds of birds chirping, her eyes calmly fluttering open as she pulled the blanket off of her and sat up. She was... indoors? Her mind instantly jolted awake, her head snapping around to look at her surroundings. She was in a familiar log cabin, with a blue striped nightgown on. The window was leaking in the bright morning sunlight that irritated Rachael's eyes when she looked at it. Throwing up a hand to block out the irritating light, the doge stood up and navigated her way to the door, stretching as she did so. Apparently she fell asleep last night, and her older self had taken her to the cabin that was all too familiar. It was where her older self lived while she was staying in the area at that particular point in time and space. Young Rachael had spent a lot of time here while the older her was stepping in to mother her. The stairs that led downstairs even made the familiar squeaks that Rachael was so fond of.

As she rounded the corner and into the living room, Rachael was hit straight on by a very pleasant scent. The scent of food cooking on a stove, and almost done too. The doge couldn't help but immediately stride straight into the kitch, expecting to see food, but instead getting an eyeful of something else.

"Good morning, me~" said the older Rachael as she heard the younger one enter. A few seconds of silence passed and the older doge looked over her shoulder to see why the girl wasn't responding. The younger one's face was bright red, like a cherry in color. "Oh, like what ya see?"

The younger one's jaw dropped as she stared at the almost completely naked older version of herself. She wasn't wearing a shirt or pants, and it was clear she wasn't wearing a bra or panties either. All she wore was a simple white apron.

"Come on, I know you like it. Like you said, we literally can't hide our emotions from each other since we can read them anyways, right? You're totally into this!" said the older Rachael as she flipped some pancakes and laughed.

The younger doge's blush intensified, simply averting her eyes and sitting at the table to distract herself.

As the older Rachael set down the glass of milk in front of the younger Rachael, she couldn't help but notice the younger her staring at her much larger melons with jealousy. "Soon, love." the older Rachael said with a giggle. "I remember them starting to grow a bit after this whole gem ordeal."

The younger Rachael's blush could not have been any cuter.

"Shut up..." she mumbled, her gaze quickly averting to the food that was set out in front of her. It looked good, and she didn't take any more than a few seconds to dig in. First starting with the pancakes, the doge poured what was probably too much syrup on them before quickly slicing them up and taking a bite. They were perfect and so sweet, it got her tail wagging in an instant. Shortly after finishing, she resorted to eating the eggs and sausage, devouring them quickly over the course of a few minutes. After finishing, Rachael leaned back in her chair and patted her full belly, letting out a sigh of content as a result.

"I take it you liked the food?" the older Rachael asked, still working on the eggs and sausage. It seemed she was nibbling as opposed to really eating.

"It was delicious." the younger Rachael said, looking at her older self before quickly looking away. She could almost see her breasts bare, the apron was so uncovering.

"What about the milk?" the older her mentioned, motioning to the glass of milk that was set out for her. "You haven't even touched it."

"Oh uh... yeah, I guess I'll drink that now too." she said. "You haven't touched yours either, though." The younger Rachael quickly reached over and picked up the glass of milk before taking a little sip. "Oohh, this is good."

"Wanna know where it came from?" the older Rachael asked, her grin much wider than it should of been. It was a little worrying for the younger Rachael, but she still nodded her head in agreement. The older Rachael then proceeded to lean forward and grope both of her breasts with both hands, squeezing them firmly and jiggling them a little bit for show. "Right from these puppies."

The younger Rachael's jaw dropped and she froze completely for a few seconds before asking: "You're joking... right?"

    "Nope, I'm being dead serious."

The blush the younger Rachael had was the most intense one she had this morning.

The younger Rachael's blush slowly faded before she stared at her glass. "Is it really...?" she mumbled to herself, to which the older Rachael nodded and laughed.

"Of course. I wouldn't kid about that kind of stuff." the older Rachael said, nibbling on a piece of the eggs she had scrambled for herself and her younger friend.

"No, but you'd do it instead which is probably worse." Young Rachael said before reaching out and picking up the glass.

"Oh? Going to finish it?" the older one teased. The older doge finished the piece of eggs she was nibbling on and stabbed through another to repeat the process. The only response she got was Rachael picking up her glass with a determined face and chugging down the glass of "milk" and slamming her glass back down on the table. The older Rachael blushed and smiled a little embarrassedly at it and squirmed in her seat. "O-Oh my. T-That's... actually kind of arousing." she muttered, looking at the younger Rachael who only grinned.

"And is your glass of milk also from you as well?" the littler Rachael would ask, to which the older Rachael hesitantly nodded.

"Y-Yes, I suppose... I'll drink it now." she said before picking up her glass and hesitantly pressing the rim to her lips. A few seconds of hesitation passed, and she raised the glass to take a sip of her own milk before removing the glass from her lips and setting it down. "Oh it is kind of... sweet." she said before taking another sip. Before she knew it, the sweet liquid was gone, and her glass was empty.

"You make me want more now... would you be up for that?" the littler Rachael asked the older one. There was a pause before a slow, hesitant nod, and then the two started debating what they should do to remedy their "thirst".

"The shower here is quite nice, if you remember correctly." the older Rachael said with a smile.

"Oh yeah, you mean the one that's like a miniature hot tub with the jets and heaters and stuff?"

    "Yeah, that one."

    And so it was settled.

The two stood in the bathroom with the tub already filling up with hot water, set at the temperature that both of them loved. Their clothes were clustered up in the hamper, and their nude bodies were on full display now. Both found themselves staring at the other, but they didn't really care. Several things about the other's body would catch the other's eye and they would stop to look at it, only to blush and keep moving. Eventually they stopped and slipped into the tub once it was full, which didn't take too long to happen. They stepped in and almost instantaneously melted from the heat. It was perfect, and their bodies quickly relaxed into the steamy water.

"This feels so nice..." the older Rachael said, feeling the littler her lean into her arm. All her muscles were relaxing and her body started slumping into the water a little.

"Not as good as I'll make you feel in a minute." Young Rachael said. Her leg swung over the bigger her's lap so she was straddling her and she leaned in to kiss her lovingly. Their fingers laced and soon they were just sitting there, kissing and revelling in the heat of each other and the water. And then, the older Rachael's hands slipped between the littler one's legs and-

    *Fade to Black*

The two lay panting on their bed, having left the bath after getting cleaned up to finish their business here so they wouldn't prune. There really was no point to taking that bath if they were just going to get all sticky and wet again.

"I love you..." the littler Rachael whispered into the older's ear, her arm draped across her lover's belly.

"I love you too..." Older Rachael replied. And soon they were laying there, nuzzling their wet cheeks on each other and kissing each other's neck. "We should do that again real soon..."

Young Rachael replied by kissing her older self on the lips, slipping her tongue into her mouth and letting out a whimper of happiness. It only took a second for it to register and for the older her to melt into it, fighting back weakly with her own tongue now in return.

Eventually the two fell asleep, the littler one sleeping on top of the older one, and a few hours passed with them like this. Shortly after waking up, they got up to get dressed and went back out to the field where they first met. The piano was gone, and all that was left was the trimmed grass, the flowers without their glows due to the sunlight, and the massive tree that reached heights no tree should be able to. The two stood facing each other, the younger one looking serious while the older one was smiling friendlily and warmly.

"You are to come at me with the intention of killing. Do not hold back. Are you prepared?" the older one said, her hands clasped in front of her politely. The younger only nodded briefly before preparing herself to grab the revolver off of her hip.

"Ready? Begin~" The older one sang, prompting the younger Rachael to quickly draw her gun and fire off four bullets straight at the older her. The older Rachael didn't budge, she just tilted her head ever so slightly to the right, and the path of the bullets instantly changed. In one moment they were going straight for her, and the next they each took a ninety degree turn in a completely different direction. Probably one of the space powers that both of them shared, the younger Rachael assumed. Leaping off to the side, the younger Rachael begun running circles around the older her, quite literally. Sprinting around her, she tried to find some sort of opening by firing bullets here and there, only to find them taking a ninety degree turn in another direction immediately. No matter what she did, the attacks were deflected immediately. Firing the last two shots from her revolver, the young Rachael reloaded her gun quickly and aimed once more, this time with an idea in mind. Timing it as best she could, little Rachael fired a bullet from her gun and erased time, sending the bullet forwards in time to where it would be a short time in the future. The bullet passed the invisible barrier, Rachael guessed, since it was approaching the older her without getting deflected. Good, that means she bypassed it.

The bullet kept travelling forwards until it was pressing into the back of the older Rachael's neck, and that's when the younger one thought she had it. Her cocky smirk told the older her everything she needed to know, despite not being able to see it. And then, everything stopped. The bullet stopped, Rachael stopped, even the gentle breeze that was passing by stopped. All of time and space had been completely frozen. Yet the younger Rachael was still aware.

"Forget I could completely stop time?" the older doge said, stepping away from the bullet and turning around. The younger Rachael could still see and perceive things as they were stopped, due to her also having influence over time, but she couldn't move at all. It was unnerving how powerful her future self was, but just the idea of her gaining this power for herself... It was bound to happen, she knew, but it was taking far too long in her eyes.

The older Rachael snickered and walked towards the younger Rachael at a painfully slow pace. The younger doge was dreading what was happen, but was also getting very impatient and wanted it to be over with ASAP. A few seconds passed and the older Rachael stopped in front of her before raising her hand and flicking the younger Rachael on the forehead.

"The World." the older Rachael said, and time resumed. The exact moment time continued its course, the ground beneath where the younger Rachael stood shattered and cracked for at least 30 meters in a line behind her. Soon after, she was sent flying backwards and into one of the massives roots of the tree that was bigger than need be. The littler Rachael made a crater in the root upon impact, and splints of wood cut and pierced her skin and clothes, making it difficult to move.

"You have a long way to go. I won't let you stop until you land one good hit on me or until you die." The older Rachael called out to the younger her who was still emerging from the root. "It also determines whether or not you get the chocolate reward!"

Laughing happily, the older Rachael watched as her littler self pried herself from the root and stood upright, obviously having trouble moving. "Was that too much? I thought you were prepared little one, don't tell me I was wrong!" she laughed, her hand coming to cover her mouth partially. It seemed to the little Rachael that the older her was having a blast.

"At least one of us is having fun." the young Rachael said, feeling the pistol still in her hands. She holstered it and she watched as the older her giggled girlishly.

"I suppose it's not that bad. Now come on, I told you I have some chocolate waiting for you if you win~" she coaxed, smiling and waggling a finger as if to tell her 'Come on!'. The younger Rachael only smirked and vanished completely, reappearing just a few inches from the older her. Their faces threatened to touch, and lips almost touching, but both were denied by the older Rachael leaping back. Her leaping back was countered with three shots from Rachael's revolver, all of which found themselves teleporting forwards in time to behind the older doge with a snap of her fingers.

"Come on, you can do better than that!" she taunted, trying to get Rachael to be innovative. The doge should know her own powers to an extent, which hadn't changed very much with the older Rachael. All she had to do was think a little, but she knew it would be a little difficult to get her to do so, what with her thick-headedness. She was such a little hothead back then, older Rachael was glad she wasn't like that anymore.

Seeing the younger her attack her again with three more bullets, the older Rachael simply sighed and flickered out of existence. Reappearing behind her littler self, she flicked her in the back of the head, shattering the ground once more and sending her flying forwards.

"You just never learn, do you...?" she mumbled, shaking her head in disappointment. With a sigh, she quickly realized this would be harder than she had originally thought. It was time to replan everything.

Young Rachael lay on her belly, her clothes torn and body bleeding here and there. Her pain was nothing compared to the exhaustion that ran throughout her body, making her feel like she was unable to move at all. Her magic power was spent up for now, and if she tried to use anymore spells they would either fizzle or blow up in her face. Unpleasant was an understatement for how she was feeling right now. Several hours had passed since her and her older self started their routine, and she was already laying on her front in defeat. The sun was setting in the distance, the sky a vibrant orange, and the glowing flowers now starting to emanate their glow...

"Hm... maybe I overestimated you." the older Rachael said with a clear frown. "I must have been expecting a different version of us from another route in time. Either that, or I was just horribly wrong."

"Route... X2..." the younger Rachael managed to muttered in a hoarse voice. That was the route in time she was from, the older her being from X1.

"Ah yes, now I remember. So I was correct, I did overestimate you. I remember that you were the one I was able to get to easily because your route was so close to mine..." the older Rachael said. Her crimson gaze stared at the Rachael who was panting and broken at her feet, debating what to do with her for now. She could continue the routine or... she could heal her, and move onto the next part for now. They would come back and do this tomorrow then, and if the littler Rachael still couldn't do the first part, then she might as well have given up hope at that point.

"Well then." the older doge said with a deep sigh. Her eyes closed as she took a moment to gather her thoughts, her hands clasping together in front of her and her thumbs began to twiddle here and there. About a minute of silence passed and she could literally feel the impatience emanating from the littler doge, forcing her to compile what she had and say it before the younger doge do anything reckless. "We'll move onto part 2. I'll make you go through some old, unpleasant memories and then we'll sleep for tonight. No sex for you though, since you couldn't even do part 1."
