Aayla had managed to crawl her way into an adjacent room, she had thought of prying the door closed, but instead just ran and had hid herself behind an old dresser. It was a terrible attempt at hiding, but it was dark, there were spirits out to get her, and she was scared. She had sat there with her hands over her ears, her knees drawn up and her face buried in her knees. It had been a long time since she had been this terrified, but every emotion she had tried to hide, suddenly came up as she had burst into tears, and hid from the monsters that would hurt her.
When Kiersa came up, she readied a spell around each of her hands, getting ready to strike at the spirit once more. However, when she heard her name, she peered up above her knees, the water still flowing dangerously around her hands until Kiersa appeared before her.
If it was possible for her to cry more, she did as the water just fell from her hands and she lunged into Kiersa's arms, burying herself in the nuns hug and refusing to let her go, her hands gripping almost desperately at the girls clothing, refusing to let her go. When the nun asked if she was hurt, she gently shifted her head as a no, which was true, the thing hadn't actually been able to hurt her, only gross her out by licking her arm and leaving that green slime she had washed off...
"I can't..."
The young dragon slayer sniffled lowly into Kiersa's chest. She couldn't face that spirit... it was weaker than the one's the dark mage had but they felt the same... she couldn't do anything then... why would she be able to do anything more here?
