Aayla had managed to crawl her way into an adjacent room, she had thought of prying the door closed, but instead just ran and had hid herself behind an old dresser. It was a terrible attempt at hiding, but it was dark, there were spirits out to get her, and she was scared. She had sat there with her hands over her ears, her knees drawn up and her face buried in her knees. It had been a long time since she had been this terrified, but every emotion she had tried to hide, suddenly came up as she had burst into tears, and hid from the monsters that would hurt her.

When Kiersa came up, she readied a spell around each of her hands, getting ready to strike at the spirit once more. However, when she heard her name, she peered up above her knees, the water still flowing dangerously around her hands until Kiersa appeared before her.

If it was possible for her to cry more, she did as the water just fell from her hands and she lunged into Kiersa's arms, burying herself in the nuns hug and refusing to let her go, her hands gripping almost desperately at the girls clothing, refusing to let her go. When the nun asked if she was hurt, she gently shifted her head as a no, which was true, the thing hadn't actually been able to hurt her, only gross her out by licking her arm and leaving that green slime she had washed off...

    "I can't..."
The young dragon slayer sniffled lowly into Kiersa's chest. She couldn't face that spirit... it was weaker than the one's the dark mage had but they felt the same... she couldn't do anything then... why would she be able to do anything more here?

Mary hunched over in pain that felt... good. It was the same sensation as that picked a scab; it hurt but it felt good at the same time. The demon nun watched as her body began to transform into a being of darkness as Cirven dealt with the final ghost in the basement, but by the time the ghost was dealt with Mary it was too late... Mary had transformed into her demonic form. And the bloodlust was triggered... She sniffed the air, but was dissapointed by the lack of the crimson liquid. Instead she smelled the next best thing... fear from upstairs. It was quick that she disappeared from the shadows and out of sight in front of Cirven. There was a final predatory look as the new monster among them used her claws to climb the walls and ceiling, always sticking to the shadows that blended perfectly with her skin. There was nothing to see or hear until Mary was in the same room as the 2 girls.

Two yellow eyes opened at the shadows, glowing yellow predatorial that were watching these 2 have a moment. How easy it would be to tear them apart and spread blood across the 4 corners of the room. How easy would it be to lose the last things Mary cared about. Mary's mind was conflicted, but in the end it was human side that won out. It was due to lack of blood that clouded her judgment. She asked in her new vicious voice, "Is she going to be okay? Is she hurt? She then stepped out of the shadows to hug the 2, but whether Aayla and Kiersa allowed it was another thing. Mary had 6 inch claws after all...

However Kiersa could feel the energy emanating from Mary,s body, it was not demonic energy. It was Spirit energy, but of a much darker variety. She wasn't a demon, but it also left unanswered questions for Kiersa to figure out. Aayla would recognize the eyes and body of what many of the more powerful Dark Celestial had. She was probably not going to be loved soon...

As he put the Kukan back into the sheath on his side he remembered that he just had spit all over it and started to regret doing it. "All the cleaning..." He grunted out in his head but still moved towards Mary.

He had to focus on her to really see what was going on with her and barely noticed that she had completely changed form like that last time the two of them did a job together. "Mary!" He reached out to grab her but she vanished in the darkness surrounding him. He ignited one of his fingers in his white flame for a light but couldn't find her at all. "Where did she go..?" He heard muffled yells and the stomping of footsteps coming from up above him. "Don't tell me she went after them?!"

Cirven was about to use his propulsion spell to send himself up through the hole he had fallen down but stopped as he heard a noise in the darkness just behind him. He turned around using his lit hand as a light source that he placed in front of him. He saw a box sitting on a table by itself. He was confused to think that the box had made that noise behind him and started to turn away from it to check on the others but stopped as he saw the box jump some from the corner of his eye. "That is weird.." He watched the box jump a few more times but then it suddenly stopped. The top of the box flipped open and let out a mist.

A ghastly form of a giant spider appeared in between him and the box. Now Cirven was not scared of many things but even his sister knew about something that made him lose his mind and act like a little girl; Bugs. So naturally he screamed like the little girl he suddenly felt himself as. "NO! NO! NO! NO! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" He pulled the Kukan, sheath and all from his side and pulled the blade from the container while a white light consumed both and changed it to its slayer mode. White flames covered the blade and he started to swung the blade down to cut the overgrown insect with the blade and the flames. "DIE!! DIE!! DIE!! NO! NO!! NO!! DIE!!" He yelled out as he cut down sending his flames out and hitting the box and burning it into ash.

Cirven used his propulsion spell and moved up the hole he fell from. He then ran away huffing a wheezing from the shook of what he had just saw up the stairs. Funny thing was he had just accidentally dealt with what had caused all the ghosts to be in the castle and in doing so allowed them to go be laid to rest.

"We are leaving now!" He yelled at the girls once he found them.

Kiersa held Aayla close to her, one hand stroking the girls hair in a soothing manner as she tried to comfort her. “It’s alright… I’m here… I won’t ever let a Spirit harm you again… I promise.” She said softly before going to kiss her on the forehead again. The nun’s eyes narrowed at the sound of something in the room with them. Using her wings she shifted herself into a more protective stance of Aayla. “Stay behind me…” she said quietly, readying herself for whatever may be lurking in the shadows. At the sight of the twin glowing eyes, the nun flared her divine wings wide to shed more light, as well as attempt to look more intimidating.

The sight that greeted her took her breath away. It was Mary… only… twisted… older looking… and very demonic. Kiersa knelt there in silence as she looked at her convent sister until the creature that was Mary spoke. Kiersa slowly shook her head. “She’s fine… just very shook up at the moment.” Said the nun before quickly holding out her hands to stall Mary from hugging them. “Mary… claws…” Kiersa said, pointing at the very sharp looking 6 inch claws growing from the girls hands.

The nun was about to say more but stopped as the sound of very girlish screams reached her ears, coming from down below. “What the… is someone else here too?” she asked, not connecting the scream to Cirven at all until the Demon Slayer turned up looking very ragged, panting for breath, and sweating. “But what-“ she began to ask before she blinked. The nun sat there in silence for a moment, her wings slowly dissipating as she dispelled them, returning the room to darkness. “It feels… different… I’m not imagining it right?” she asked.

When Aayla hear something else come into the room, she buried her face deeper into Kiersa's chest, shifting behind the girl when she was told too. Her eyes went wide at the sight of 'Mary' when the girl approached them, her laws just inched from scraping into the pair. She gently pushed against Kiersa to get herself back up to her feet, stepping away from the pair before running right at them, since it was the only way out, and pushed her way passed Kiersa and Mary with panic in her face and her voice.

    "No! Get away from me!"
She exclaimed in a panicked tone as she crawled her way around the dresser, stumbling to her feet as she began to run away from Mary and Kiersa. She felt bad leaving the nun there, but her mind wasn't in the right place to start feeling noble... she couldn't think of going back there to save her from that spirit. All she could think of was running... running out of this house and away from the danger. However, the next person she ran into was Cirven. She literally crashed into him, and upon catching his familiar scent, gripped onto him tightly, hiding her face into her older brothers chest as she continued to cry, taking in deep, weepy breaths to try and (unsuccessfully) calm down.

"Cirven... Cirven let's go... please let's go... I wan't to go home..."
She said raspily, her voice hard to hear from her hiding spot in his chest.

Mary just stopped as Kiersa basically stopped the ex-nun from trying to comfort a team mate. She looked at her clawssilently, they were vicious looking to be sure... But Mary would be careful... Her mind was still the same person that they cared about, they knew about her condition after all. It wasn't like the demon form would come to much of a shock right? All that mattered was that her mind was in control right? There would be love and acceptance right? They were the last of her family after all.

    Mary would guess wrong.

It was at that moment that another part of her world was utterly shattered. Her demon eyes stared blankly into space as it was coming as a shock to her. Even those that promised to accept her were scared of her and were classifying her as a monster. As she watched Aayla run in fear all Mary could say was, "No wait... It's just me Mary... I would never hurt you..." Tears were falling from her yellow eyes as she watchedin silence as she runs away, falling to her knees in utter surrender to her fate. Not even caring anymore what happened anymore. Let a ghost take her head off, she wouldn't care anymore... Wait she had claws so couldn't she just.. end it? Before Kiersa could even stop her, Mary stabbed her stomach with her claws with intent to disembowel herself. If falling didn't kill her, then this will!

It was then that fate intervened and a platinum key poked out from one of her wounds and fell to the ground. Suddenly the pain utterly struck her and the bleeding was excessive. The blacking out of Mary asked a single most important question she ever asked, "What in Makers is tha..." It was then that the world turned black as she laid in the ground bleeding, but not before instinctually grabbing the key. Kiersa was probably going to confiscate that when she is unconscious.
