A shy girl (Umbreon and Almyra)

Chloe silently walked through the streets of Magnolia. She had just arrived there and finished registering at the guild hall. She now had no idea what to do. Her exceed, Gwen, told her that she was getting some supplies, leaving the shy water dragon slayer to walk the streets alone. She walked with her head down and deep in thought. She had no idea what to do, or how to do it. All she did now was pace thinking about how scary the town was.

Chloe was not alone in her wanderings, for Almyra was exploring the town as well. It was such a pretty town, and she wandered looking about happily, her eyes bright with fascination at every little thing she saw. Unfortunately, in her effort to take in every little detail, she did miss quite a lot, like the other woman who, if she didn't look up, would no doubt bump into her.

Chloe was too focused on thoughts and fears that she was unable to notice that she just bumped into the other woman. Chloe was much smaller than Almyra and fell down on her but before instantly getting up saying, "Im so so so sorry!" and she began to walk in the other direction with very red and blushing cheeks. She then noticed all of the people around her and tried to hide.

Almyra let out a surprised noise as she was bumped into and tried to help the woman up, but she had already gotten up on her own and apologized. "It's okay," Almy said before the girl was walking away. She started to walk after her. "Hey! Wait up! Are you okay? I didn't mean to bump into you!" The girl seemed like a nice person, so Almy wanted to talk with her.

Chloe keeps walking then tries to go hide into a corner. Chloe was getting extremely scared because the farther she went the tighter the space got, and the more people were there. She eventually lost it and screamed at the top of her lungs when she reached a dead end. "Sorry for bothering you!" she said.

Almyra frowned, sad to see that she had terrified the poor girl by following her. She tried to smile comfortingly at the girl. "It's okay. I'm sorry I scared you by following you, but you seem like an interesting and nice person, so I wanted to talk." She tilted her head. "Would a hug make you feel better?" She reached into her bag and pulled out Tammy. "I even have a dolly you can hug if you're afraid to hug me." She hugged the doll and smiled at Chloe.

Chloe took the doll and said, "I'm eighteen" after a minute of hugging the doll she gave it back and said. "My name is Chloe, the water dragon slayer." she said, not suprised she mistoke her age began looking around. She stared at the wall and started sitting in the corner.

Almyra smiled, happy that the girl was talking at least. She still held the doll. "It's nice to meet you Chloe. I'm Almyra and I'm nineteen. I'm a chaos theorist. Don't worry though, that's just a type of mathematician. Not someone who does bad things." She frowned slightly at the thought of what some people had assumed of her when she said that to them, but went back to smiling quickly. "Do you still want a hug?" Chloe's age matter to Almy. Hugs were for everyone, not just young people.

"No thank you." Chloe said as she tried to get up, only for her gloves to fall off. She instantly lost control of her two limbs and fell over due to a sudden lack of balance. "I'm sorry, please give me a minute" she tried to say, only for her to spit up blood during that sentence.

Almyra gave a look of surprise as her gloves fell off, making her arms flail around. The link to her sudden problems was clearly caused by the lack of the gloves. She walked over to the girl and grabbed the gloves, then took hold of one of her hands, fighting to get one glove on, afterwards she did the same with the other, hoping she could do it and help the poor girl.

Chloe got control of her arms again once the gloves came on but continued to cough up blood as she began to limp away from Almyra. She hoped to get back to fairy Tail but was unsure where it was, or how to get there. She only just joined of course.

Almyra was worried about the girl, since she was coughing up blood and having trouble walking. She got up and tried to put an arm around the girl to help her. "Do you need any help? I just want to make sure you're alright because I think you're a nice person. And I like helping people."

"It's fine, this is normal. It was my mistake and I pay for it everyday." Chloe said as she was getting up and beginning to trust this girl. "I just need to get back to my guild." she said about whether to hide from or talk to this girl.

Almyra smiled comfortingly at Chloe. "Okay, if you're sure. I'll still help you get back to your guild, though. Maybe we can talk a bit on the way. You're an interesting person and I want to know you better." She looked around a bit. "What guild are you in and where is it? I'll help you get there so you don't bump into anyone or lose your gloves again and get hurt."

"I am in Fairy Tail, as of today." Chloe as she walked with Almyra who was helping her with her limp. "And the gloves only help my arms. My other symptoms are unhealable. So what about you then" she said, which may have been the boldest statement she made in her life.

"Neat! Do you know which way it is to the guildhall?" Almyra asked her. She helped the poor girl along. She was somewhat surprised to see a girl of almost her age who was this much shorter than her. Though it did make it easier to help her along. "I'm not a part of any guild. I just explore the world and the cities. It's all so pretty. And I'm slowly learning magic. I also like to collect buttons. Do you have any fun hobbies like that?"

"I don't know" she said sad knowing she wasn't able to find her way to the hall. She walked with water dripping from her clothes from her stress. "I like... water... i guess.... maybe.... i don't know" she said becoming more and more unsure of herself as she walks.

Almy frowned a bit and stopped, hugging Chloe gently, trying to calm her down. "Don't be nervous, it's just walking and talking. And don't worry that you don't remember where your guildhall is. I'm good at finding things and I'll get you there." She let go of her and smiled. "I like water a lot, too. Swimming is fun! I didn't learn to do it until after I moved to Fiore though. Desierto doesn't have much water, so people don't usually swim."

Chloe made a very small smile before it quickly disappeared. "I think this is the hall" Chloe said as she started to walk ever so slowly towards it with more dripping water following her where she walked. "Do you wanna come inside?" Chloe said unsure she was even allowed inside.

Almyra shook her head at Chloe. "No thanks. I want to explore the city some more first, but I might visit some other time. I like it outside though." She took her arm off from around Chloe so she could go inside, but still held her hand loosely, and would let go as soon as she started walking. "I do kind of want to sit outside and talk a bit with you, if you're okay with that." She smiled again.

"Sure" Chloe said as she sat down in front of the guild hall and waited for Almyra to speak. Besides its not like Chloe belonged there. She was just a wizard they found had busted limbs and helped, thats what made her in the guild, not power or skill.

"Yay!" Almy said with a smile, sitting down next to Chloe, and fairly close to her. Closer than one would normally sit, though that was just Almyra being her usual self. She liked people a lot, and liked to be close to them. "You never really answered my question earlier. Do you like to swim? I notice you sometimes will start dripping water, why is that?"

Chloe quickly moved away, tripling the distance between them. "Well the water is part of me. It just happens" Chloe said as she made so water drip from her fingers. "See? and I love swimming, I always have a swim suit on."

Almy watched as Chloe made the water drip from her fingers. "That's neat! I like swimming, too, but like I said, I didn't get to do it until I moved here." She giggled a bit when Chloe mentioned that she always had a swimsuit on. She noticed Chloe moving away from her and frowned a bit. "Sorry for sitting so close. I forget that other people don't like being near people as much as I do." The frown quickly went back to a smile. "So what other things do you like? Games? Animals?"

Chloe was speaking quietly when she said, "I love animals" she said embarrassed she was telling tis girl all this but somehow, strangely relieved which she never felt before.
