The Hunter(Team Ordered Chaos)

All the gunmen were finished by the time Hiroko noticed. "Obsidius, get back to normal, we have to keep going." The strange stone that was holding the enemy started to transform into lava and sink in the ground. He turned around to see the bunch of gunmen in the ground. And his team was also fine. They really didn't have much injuries, except for Katherine, she really looked bad, but she was still smiling and acting like always. That last for a few moments only, she took one of the gunmen and threatened him, she was terrifying, but it was a great idea. He had his complete attention in the man shouting and willing to survive. He kept looking and as she quickly got some information. "Hey Katherine, I think you shouldn't kill him." He gently said without really caring, but in front of the people in the surroundings, it wasn't the best idea to kill the man, they could easily get in a big trouble.

When Katherine didn't let the man die and just knocked him down, Hiroko calmed down a bit. "We aren't bad enough to kill people are we?" He thought to himself. Then he turned around and saw the gunmen on the ground. "Are they all dead?" He asked his team just to make sure. He gave some steps towards the first body he saw and tried to move it with his feet. He pushed slowly and gently to see if he was still alive. He would've done it with a stick, but he couldn't find any quickly. The man moved a bit, at least one of them was still alive. "By the way, I have the same question Katherine has. Now what?" He sat down and looked at Alyia first and then at the other two. "Should we go to the ruins or should we kick some more bad guys."

Reaching up to her head she pondered about the groups question, were they going to continue ahead. She had originally planned for it to be just her and Katherine, but seeing how Allison and Hiroko had suddenly appeared she didn’t know exactly what to do. She opened her palm and the copper coloured stoat climbed onto her hand. She lowered her hand and then let it rest right before her shoulder. Feeling the weight transfer to her shoulder she let her hand fall to her side. She turned around and faced the team. She looked at them. Katherine was a little beat up, but Hiroko and Allison looked perfectly fine. She felt something drip down her face and she brushed the back of her hand across it. Bring her hand to her eyesight she looked at it. It was all red now, blood. Rolling her eyes she wiped the back of her hand off on her shorts. With her mind turning, she thought that it would be best that they continue. They had already be found. “We leave now.” She looked at the people on the ground and narrowed her eyes. If she was alone or with Deniel she would have not hesitated to kill them, but she was. “Hold on a moment.” She walked over to everybody that littered the ground and dragged them into a pile. Pulling the last person into the pile she looked at the group and gave them a small sweet smile, as if she hadn’t done anything. She then walked away and towards the direction on the Ancient Ruins.


She had walked a while and made sure that her team was behind her. She wanted to make sure that she had indeed seen them. Shen suddenly paused. She felt something ahead. Looking at Oya on her shoulder she moved her eyes so that the stoat would know to go check it out and see what was up ahead.

Katherine gave one final look at the enemies and sighed, "Yes Allison, I will end their suffering. More of a mercy that they deserve..." She removed her armor and stored it back to the chaos to reveal the several areas that she was shot. Blood was dripping from the holes on her skin and forming small streams down her body and into the floor. She was hurt, but hard to tell if she was in pain. Katherine indeed was, but had no emotional registration of pain. Instead there was that unnatural smile that she always gave. The smile that never stopped even when in combat. Katherine looked at the pile up and said, "Oh Ayla you could so do better than that. Put them in compromising positions so that they are in for a nice surprise when the Rune Knights come tagging along.~" Katherine thought it would be funny to have them like that after all and arrested so that they are on the news in the complete disgrace. It was the least that they did for murdering a Treasure Hunter and his teenage son.

Katherine looked at the dead pair and then to their ghosts that hovered above them as she muttered, "I can only save one. I am sure you know why the choice is obvious. You might want to say goodbye to your son, his time has not come." There was screams of protests from the son that would chill a humans heart. The scene of a comforting father trying to tell his son that he was okay' but the result was still the same. Ressurection of the dead was already a hard enough magic to pull and as the rain poured the healing waters to fix everyones damages, pains and injuries... The angel breathed new life into the lips of the boy and zapped his heart to life. The scream was horrible, the cries of a pained son grieving for his father was not the most pleasant of sights. Even the emotionless Angel felt something as she turned away and told the rest of the group: [color=#ff99ff]"Let us leave this place. I have caused enough sufferingfor one day."[color]

For when there is life, there is pain as well.

'Lineage Dice' :

Hiroko saw the devastation him and his team had created. A group of probably inoscen men that were only doing there job laying down on the floor, and two of them were dead, but to make this worst, one of them was even younger than Hiroko. Maybe they tried to kill him and his team, but Hiroko wasn't like that, he couldn't think he had in his hands blood of a young boy. Alyia gathered the bodies in the ground, which actually was a good idea, it could cause less trouble by leaving all of them together. What Katherine wanted to do though, was cruel, they were beaten up and even dead, it was to cruel to do that too, but Hiroko decided to say nothing.

He sat on the ground and let a yawn out. "So next stop are the ruins?" He felt the ground with the hand, it was in its normal temperature, he was sure Obsidius wasn't close. "Then lets go." He said as he saw Katherine walking towards the kid and his father. She passed from cruel to doing what Hiroko couldn't do, fix a part of what they had done. It started to rain after Katherine said some things Hiroko couldn't hear, and after a few seconds, the kid was back. Hiroko got up and ran towards the crying kid. He knelt a side of the teenager and took one of his arms to put in in the kid's shoulder. "I'm sorry kid." The kid was too sad to say something, even if it would probably be punches and kicks.

They had walked for some time already towards this ruins, he had forgotten the treasure by that time, but not about the mission. He tried to keep close from Allison. Alyia and Katherine were a bit scary, Allison was the opposite.

With Oya now gone she couldn’t do anything but grit her teeth and refrain from yelling at Allison, the redhead was being way too loud. This was a job in which they were all supposed to be quiet. Hearing her continue to be loud, Alyia stopped mid step and spun on her heel. She looked right at Allison. "Allison, " she said trying to remain calm, "Shush. We are supposed to be quiet. If you are loud people will know that we are here. I would personaly not mind it. It means more entertainment for me, but you on the other hand would not like it. I will probably use my pain spell. So if you don't want to see people on the ground withering in pain, I suggest that you lower your volume." Alyia finished speaking and stood up straight. Her arms were crossed aand the look on her face was one that dared Allison to speak loudly again. Her eyes shifted away from Allison's face to the cat that she held in her arms. It was the same one that Katherine had given her. The pink cat that Alyia had said wouldn't be true.

With a huff Alyia turned back around only to see a flying stoat. Widening hef eyes Oya slammed into her face causing for Alyia to stumble backwards. Not letting out a single noise she steadied herself and pulled the stoat away from her face and gripped it by the fur on it's neck. Narrowing her eyes she looked at Oya somewhat annoyed. 'Hi Alyia~' The blonde heard in her head. Rolling her eyes Alyia spoke to the stoat, "Find anything?" It took a minute before Oya replied. 'Yeah, there is another groups of treasure hunters not even 100 yards away.' Alyia smirked. Allison was sure lucky that she had warned her. Or else those treasure hunters would be on the ground in pain as soon as they walked through tbe foliage in front of them curious as to what had made a loud talking noise. Turning around she looked at the team. "Oya says that there is another group of treasure hunters not even a hundred yards in front of us. I say that we continue forward and if we happen to run into them, ten we run into them."

Katherine was quietly watching Alyia and Allison have what would be the start of a fight. The Angel sighed, this was not how a team worked. They should be working together like a well oiled machine with everyone covering their backs. Instead there was arguments and in-fighting, This did not amuse the angel in the slightest, in fact it downright angered her. And this was coming from a girl thats emotions were shot. So above everyone's heads storm clouds began to form despite Katherine smile on her face. The Angel stepped between everyone and said fairly loudly, "Enough! I know everyone has issues with everyone's magic, but on the field is the wrong time to argue! We are on a mission, it is a do or die situation! We are the Eclipse Soul! We are better than being a bunch of children fighting among one another!" The storm clouds now looking rather threatening to smite them all with Godslayers might, but still just crackled with energy as opposed to striking with lightning bolts. Katherine was angry enough that she wanted to beat someone, anyone but still kept the serene face. The weather that everyone knew she controlled said otherwise.

That was when the ambush came, but Katherine was so pissed that she did not want to do anything with the team right now. So when the ambush arrived due to Katherine and Allison being loud. So Katherine just yelled extremely loud as black lightning bolts fell from the heavens, completely wiping out the group in a single strike. The only reason that the team were not caught in the blast was because Katherine used the safety magic that removed targets that had the Eclipse Soul tattoo. As they fell to the ground unconscious, with little to no suffering, Katherine said "Okay I feel much better now! So what is the plan?~"

'Monster Dice' :

Hiroko silently walked with the group. He didn't really know what should he do to help by the moment, but he thought it would be better to wait for an instruction. They had to be careful, if there was really a treasure, there probably were traps guarding it and maybe dangerous animals, but the real problem was the other treasure hunters. They had only defeated one little group of them, but they could maybe find even some other powerful mages. He walked close to the team, but was always in the back.

The peace and silence didn't last for long though, something similar to a discussion started, ad he didn't really be part of. Alyia and Allison could be considered the ones who started, but Katherine was the creepiest one. She started to get noisy and the sky started to change. Other treasure hunters would have no problem finding them now. Hiroko gave some steps behind and hide in a big rock, he wasn't afraid if any treasure hunter, but Katherine was frightening.

From a corner, a little group of man appeared, but it didn't take long for Katherine to blast them with some thunders. Some of them stopped moving, and some other kept moving, but very slow. It had probably been the shock, they couldn't even get up. "Obsidius" Hiroko called his friend and started to create a sphere in his hand. A shining red lava ball was quickly maid and a little lava pit was created under one of the targets. A bog two meter creature appeared from the pit and Hiroko threw the sphere. Obsidius took it with both hands, and before the enemy could react, Obisdius crushed the lava sphere on the enemy covering him and buried him completely. The magma explosion burned some little spots on the ground around Obsidius, and there were still some enemies left. "Heat" Hiroko started to get a shining red color around him, but he still couldn't do much.

Alyia had listened to her mentor and sighed. She was right. This was supposed to be a team but she was so used to be by herself or with Deniel and even then they worked naturally together. She was going have to make an effort to be in this team. When the sky darkened Alyia knew that she had upset Katherine and she felt slightly guilty a feeling that she hadn’t felt in a really long time. When lightning rained from the clouds that Katherine had made and struck off of the enemies that had ambushed the group all Alyia wanted to do was sit back and watch. So as Hiroko struck down several of the ones that were still twitching Alyia wanted to join in and knock out the rest of them so that they would no longer bother them and so that they would not run and tell someone about their existence. Walking over to the closest twitching person Alyia kicked them in the stomach immediately knocking them out. She then looked at Allison with a though appearing in her head. “Allison, once a person is knocked out they can no longer feel the pain. So can we make a compromise that I can knock people in anyway I choose?” Alyia though that this was a pretty good compromise in the way that Allison wouldn’t have to deal with the pain of the people that Alyia would hurt and Alyia could do as she please if only at the end she knocked people out. Awaiting Allison’s response she walked over to another person and kicked them in the stomach. Finally when all of the enemies seemed to be knocked out the blonde haired girl turned and looked at Allison. Noticing that her cat had disappeared she moved her hand to Oy a who was now residing on her shoulder. Feeling the soft fur on her fingers Alyia felt a little more calmed than she had before. She knew that they only had a limited time before the people on the ground woke up so she looked at Allison expectantly. “What do you say can we agree on that?”

Katherines anger was gone as she felt a nice gentle breeze flow. Katherine could join in taking out the people, but the angel simply pressed forward however. There was no need for overkill to occur. Even though they were getting out of paralysis, the Treasure hunters were in no position to attack or defend as they had to get them selves off the ground and up to attack. The team would keep them down, so Katherine was keeping a lookout for more ambushes. She did not want to catch the team off guard. Happily though the 2 girls were trying to come to a compromise, this made Katherine smile as she decided that they were going to be okay. They could work things out for the better. It was then Katherine went down the road and saw something that put a smile on her lips.

The treasure hunters camp, had everything the Magic Council was looking for. The items of power were already taken by the bandits and taken to the surface. The villains did all the work for them! So smiling Katerine returned to the group with a smile on her face. Katherine called, "Hey when we are done making sure they are not moving again there is some good news. These idiots dug up all the treasure for us. Meaning we dont have hurt anymore people after this, just contact some Rune Knights and Mission accomplished.~" Hopefully this would brighten everyone's mood, but would this be enough to keep the team standing? They had their first argument and it nearly tore them apart. Was this going to be a norm in this team or would they learn to cooperate? Only time would tell...

"I want to say that we should take this as a sign for good things to come for the team. So who wants to celebrate afterwards with Ice cream?"

The men looked like they stopped moving. And even if it was good already, things were about to get better. Katherine then told them what would mean the end of the mission, or at least that is what it looked like. "Hey when we are done making sure they are not moving again there is some good news. These idiots dug up all the treasure for us. Meaning we don't have hurt anymore people after this, just contact some Rune Knights and Mission accomplished.~" This was perfect. They had no reason now to enter the ruins looking for the treasure. The enemies had already done all the work. He was excited, he didn't really care about the money, what he truly cared about was the legendary artifact. He was told he could keep one, and he had also heard it's power was amazing. "Ice cream doesn't sound bad at all. And... should we also defeat them, or just contact the rune knights." They had already defeated many of this treasure hunters, he didn't really want to fight more of them. "And by the way, anyone here has how to communicate with the rune knights?" He asked without really thinking about it, he only knew he didn't have anything to contact them. Obsidius sank again, he knew his help wouldn't be necessary again, and if they were, he could simply return to the surface if Hiroko called him.

Hiroko sat down and thought about the work done, they had actually done quite good in his opinion, but their name fitted perfectly for them. They were a mess together, but it was only time for them to get use to each other and be able to work perfectly together. "We are chaotic indeed, we only need order now." He thought to himself thinking about their name.

After hearing Katherine’s new discovery about the items and her idea for a celebration she was all the more in an agreeable mood after Allison agree that she could knock people out of kill them as long as they did not feel pain afterwards. So when she heard Hiroko’s question she slightly tilted her head in thought. Reaching up and petting Oya again she let her mind do its job and think of a way to contact the Rune Knights. Removing her hand from Oya, Alyia crossed her arms over her chest. When a sudden though came to mine a smirk grew on her face. They didn’t need to call the Rune Knights right away. If someone from the team by chance got a hold of a phone that could be in the camp they could deal with the treasure hunters and call the Rune Knights at the same time. Looking at the rest of the team she started to speak. “There is bound to be a phone in the site. They had have been able to contact each other.” She looked from person to person. “I say that Katherine, Hiroko and I fight off the treasure hunters and Allison? Seeing how you do not like to cause people harm, you obtain a phone and contact the Rune Knights.” Pausing to look at Allison Alyia stopped talking. “From there it should be relatively easy for the Rune Knights to arrive deal with the treasure hunters and the items.” Alyia looked back around at the other two team mates making sure that they agreed with the plan. “Oh, and Katherine? Ice-cream sounds like a satisfying idea after all of this. Only, if I can have chocolate ice-cream.” Flashing Katherine something between a smirk and a smile the blonde haired girl then shifted her gaze to the rest of the team. “So does anyone else have an idea on how we can take out the treasure hunters? I was thinking maybe secretly or one by one so that the items do not get damaged.” Shifting from one leg to the other Alyia shifted her weight. She could not stay in one place for long. Her hair was now strewn about and sticking up and out in all sorts of directions thanks to the electricity that had been in the air only moments ago.

Katherine smiled slightly as the team organized to go home. It was a long job filled with a lot of fighting, in and out of the team. However they managed to pull through with it Hiroko seemed worried, so Kat answered the one question in his head. "If you wonder where order is, it does not exist in battle. Instead it's after the battle is won do we form order from the chaos. So in that regards order and chaos take turns. However it is up to us to determine what kind of order it is." Katherine then walked a little bit further before shooting a giant rainbow in the sky, it would act as a flare as Katherine left a note to say that this was ES doing and to send money and items to Guildhall. Rune Knights were supposed to receive the items anyways so it didn't matter how it got to them. Government types were so persistent in that sense. Katherine walked down the road as Alyia asked the chocolate question, but she knew better than anyone what the answer was. It was Allison's question that caused her to laugh, "A demon? You must have some Inuki blood in you. I always wondered what happened to his descendants. If you like, I could even pour some of my blood on it if you like.~" Was it wisest of choices? No, but there was a bit of fun to be had when a patron became a demon dog.

Katherine would be the first to open the door to the ice cream shop and ordered some sweets for everyone. Katherine secretly smiled, one of her rare true smiles. For this was her family now, her chaotic dysfunctional happy family. And truth be told...

...she would not have it any other way.
