Magic
Primary Magic: gravity magic
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: caster
Description:
Kesari uses gravity magic. That means she is capable of manipulating the earth's gravitational pull in designated areas or the weight of single objects and persons. The magic also can be used to create new spots of gravity. For that, runes be summoned. The summoned rune pushes or pulls everything in range, depending of the runes effect.
Kesari herself uses the magic offensive to strengthen her strikes or defensive to dodge enemy attacks, by suddenly move sidewards, because of a summoned rune. With her magic, Kesari can use nearly everything as a weapon and throw it on her opponent. Depending on its weight, she needs more magical power to create a rune that is strong enough to move the object. Kesari often uses the magic on herself and fights like a melee fighter. Like she uses it just to buff herself. But even in daily routine, gravity magic is very useful. Using it, Kesari easily can lift things, that usually are to heavy. She also can jump higher and climb easier.
Strengths:
Gravity magic is versatile. In nearly every situation, you can move something and maybe turn the situation for the better.
Punches can be very strong. Stronger than any average man or even well trained men can punch. The magic can highly improve physically attacks. But gravity magic is not just useful for attacks. It even can be very supportive. It easily can be used to help allied magicians to move. Like pushing them sidewards to dodge an attack, or directly distract the attack spell itself. Particularly mobility is supported well. Gravity magic can be used to manipulate small objects right up to large areas.
- versatile
- strong physically attacks
- very supportive
- effects up to a large area
Weaknesses:
Like letting a stone fall into a fountain, an object, moved by a gravity rune, does not instantly move with high speed. It takes it's time to be moved. Therefore it is impossible to dodge an very fast attack that way, because Kesari would not be out of line a little bit too slow. Also the runes do not distinguish allies from enemy. Kesari cannot simply move only one person or object, if there is another nearby The ability to change an objects weight just works on one object at the same time. To work perfectly fine, the user of gravity magic has to steadily concentrate. If the concentration is broken, the spell stops its effect.
The heavier an object, the more exhausting is it to summon a rune to move it. Therefore mp costs can rise into enormous heights faster than Kesari prefers.
- does not work instantly
- one target
- runes don't distinguish between enemy and allies
- user has to concentrate on the most spells
- MP costs
- Abilities/Powers:
Name:At the eleventh hour
Description: Kesari is capable of moving herself out of the line of fire, by using her gravity magic. Because it is just a light push and it just affects herself, the amount of mp which is required to use this ability, is nearly zero. This ability prevents her from getting damaged by an attack, but this does not work against area of effect skills and has a limit of once per fight. Cooldown.- rank d: 30% chance to dodge
- rank c: 40% chance to dodge
- rank b: 50% chance to dodge
- rank a: 60% chance to dodge (possible to dodge aoe, too)
- Name: feather/stone
Description: Kesari is allowed to change the weight from nearly any object and creature, as long as it is not 5 times tall as she is. She can change the weight of anything up to its tripled weight, or to... like nothing. If the object is more then double as large as Kesari, she just can change the weight to its doubled or halved.- rank d: duration 2 posts // range 15 meters
- rank c: duration 2 posts // range 20 meters
- rank b: duration 3 posts // range 20 meters
- rank a: duration 3 posts // range 20 meters // objects, even up to 5 times as tall as Kesari can be tripled in weight or made light as a feather
Spells:
- D-rank spells:
- stone punch:
Name: stone punch
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Description:
Kesari starts to hit something or somebody with a weapon or her body (punch/kick). Right before hitting the target, she increases the weight of her arm/leg/weapon to its tripled. So the strike gains a lot more power. The spell got a 10% chance to deal 130% damage in total (30% additional, d-rank's worth damage, but also might miss with 10%). The weight change just lasts for like a second, just as long until the strike is done.- speed: instantly
- area of effect: /
- range: weapon
Strengths: Stone punch is an unobtrusive attack, because the enemy simply does not see any difference between stone punch and an common punch. Because of the tripled weight of the 'weapon', the attack is physically very strong, even if Kesari is a puny young woman. Because of its physically strength, the attack has a chance to do critical damage.- the attack is unobtrusive
- physically strong
- critical damage chance
Weaknesses: Because the spell just effects things like Kesaris own body or her weapons, the range of it is strongly limited and the spell just helps in close combat. Also the attack is dodge able like an usual strike, because it simply is a usual strike, just with an additional amount of strength added to. That also influences its hitting chance. Because Kesari swings a heavy “weapon”, the attack cannot change its direction, once it is started. The area of effect of stone punch is just a small spot. It effects just the small spot it hits, to deal damage and since it is a full body movement, Kesari is vulnerable for counter attacks.- strong limited range
- dodge able like an usual strike
- 10% miss chance
- because of the power, Kesari cannot perform anything else for a moment. It is kind of a full body movement.
- small area of effect (just a small spot)
- cooldown: 2 post
- duration: instant
- force field xg:
Name: force field xg
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supportive
Description:
Kesari concentrates on a spot, if it is an a surface or in mid-air. Then she reaches out her hand into the direction of it. A magic rune/circle appears, the size of it depends on the magic power Kesari decides to muster. Now a force sets out from the rune. Either it pushes or it pulls everything in the direction it points, what makes the rune being proportionate bigger (doubled strength = doubled size). A simply forcefield can move up to 550 lb. The power of the runes gravity can be up to 3 times the earth's gravitational pull. The higher its power, the higher the magical consume is or rather, the bigger the object is, the larger the circle has to be, which means higher mp consume. The spell can be used versatile. It may give Kesaris stone punch or an allied physically attack a bonus of 25% of the standard power added to it. It also can be used to dodge an attack or change an attacks direction to make it miss. (35% chance of dodging/making the enemy attack miss)- speed: rune is created instantly // speed of pulling impact works kind of equally as the free fall, where the definition of “falling” depends on the point of view.
- area of effect: radius of the magic circle (between a few centimetres and 5 meters). Hight of effect is up to 15 meters
- range: range the circle can be summoned in is up to 15 meters
Strengths:There are versatile possibility to use this spell. If it is giving Kesaris stone punch or an allied physically attack a bonus of 25% of the standard power as damage, when using it to speed up the dash of her/her ally, or dodging an enemy attack/making it miss, by pushing herself or an ally out of the line of fire/pushing the attack into an other direction. It also can be used to push heavy, big objects out of the way, or right into the way, to use it as a shield. The duration of force field is not very long, but long enough to push anything a good distance.- versatile usable
- can move nearly anything a human needs to move (realistic things, not mountains or large buildings.
- the effect lasts for a short while / long enough to move things a good distance
Weaknesses: The bigger/heavier the object is, Kesari wants to move with forcefield, the bigger the forcefield has to be. Which means additional mp costs. Once the rune is placed, it cannot be moved, to change its effects direction. So it has to be used wisely. The rune pushes/pulls anything it its range. Therefore it does not distinguish between enemy and allies. If the user stops concentrating on the spell, it stops working, so it can be disturbed by the enemy.- high mp consume at big circles (doubled strength = doubled size = doubled costs // usual rune pushes up to 550lb)
- the rune is static and cannot be moved to change its area of effect
- runes don't distinguish between enemy and allies
- user has to concentrate on the spell
- cooldown: 3 posts
- duration: 1 post
- gravity chains:
Name: gravity chains
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Description: Kesari forms four rings, made of magical energy and throws them onto the enemy. These rings are searching their ways to the opponents extremities, more precisely his legs and arms. Does the target stands next to a big object, just like a wall, the rings may shackle him on that object for his next post(distance to the object <= 5 meters). If not, the rings just apply themselves at him. Anyway the spell deals 50% damage instantly and another 100% damage over time in 2 'turns', pressing firmly on the extremities. It's possible to detach the chains, by invest some time (skipping the next attack).- speed: 30 mp/h
- range: 15 meters
Strengths: Gravity chains can be used kind of versatile, too. It can be used to deal damage, or to prevent the enemy doing so. It also can give an ally a free attack on the enemy, by shackling him at a given object.- 10% chance of skipping the next enemy attack (if there is an object nearby the enemy, where he could get shackled to)
- deals 150% damage (50% instantly and 50% of each of the next 2 turns)
- maybe gives an ally one free attack on the opponent
Weaknesses: The chains can be detached by the target itself. If the shackle effect applies, it does not deal any damage. The spell also has a high cooldown, with 6 posts to wait until it is usable again. If the damage over time effect applies, the mp costs grow with 5% for each round, the spell deals damage.- can be detached
- deals no damage if the shackle effect applies
- high cooldown
- for each turn the chains additionally last, they drain another 5% mp (maximum 2 turns anyway)
- cooldown: 6 posts
- duration: 1 post // 3 posts
- gravity rupture:
Name: gravity rupture
Rank:D
Type: Offensive
Description: Kesari opens her hand and starts concentrate some magical energy in it. Runes appear, which point in different, random directions. Smaller and bigger ones. They all pull and push the energy into different directions, what makes it an chaotic and restless energy ball. Kesari takes this ball and pushes it right onto the enemy body. The whirling ball still uses the gravity pull and push thing and tears and rips everything it hits in parts. The spell deals 60% of its ranks damage and got a 25% chance to destroy hit weak armour or weapons (if blocked). If no armour is worn, the flesh and innards are effected, what means the remaining damage (+60%) are done over the next 2 posts. 30% per turn. If dot applies, 5% mp per additional post are soaked (2x5%). 20% miss chance.- speed: instant
- range: arm length
- area of effect: /
Strengths: The attack might destroy a weapon/armour, what gives an advantage for the remaining time of the fight. If there is nor weapon/armour worn, it deals more damage, what it makes a win/win situation.- can destroy armour
- can deal dot
- either way, it got an advantageously effect
Weaknesses: The full damage potential of a damage over time is not used. The spell also has a 20% chance to miss and deal no effect but losing mp. If it hits and the damage over time effect applies, it even costs more mp. The spell got a relatively high cooldown (6 posts).- If dot applies, it doesn't do complete 150% damage (120%)
- 20% miss chance
- additional mp costs if dot applies
- high cooldown
- duration: up to 2 additional posts
- cooldown: 6 posts
