Xavier had done it again, gone wondering some place far from home and gotten lost. But he wasn't direly lost, the place he was at was at the least semi-populated. A peaceful village that was quite a sit for sore eyes looking upon it after being lost in a forest. For a long time he had sat in the square of town watching people go by, mostly just to rest before he headed back home. As much he loved to see new places he wasn't comfortable this far away from his usual stomping grounds. People seemed to stop and stare, sometimes electricity would bounce between his fingers as he looked at them, he didn't have all the control he wished he had. That wasn't the only eye catching thing about him, the birds in the area couldn't seem to leave him alone, they were only thing keeping him in his seat on a bench. He extended his finger a blue canary perched ever so gently upon it, as many others found comfort on his shoulders or in his hair for some reason. He didn't mind, but it got him a lot of attention.

Allison was wandering around, and she had ended up in Peace Village. She remembered this place, it had been where she had experienced that awful but exciting first job, the one that had taken hours for a supposedly easy, D-Class mission. She smiled to herself as she thought about how happy it had made the woman who had requested the job, however, and shooed away her troubled thoughts. Allison was having a good day, and today she was expecting to spend the rest of it doing her favourite hobby and past time ; people watching.
As Allison was skipping through the park, beaming, she noticed something that was kind of funny and kind of sweet. There was a boy, and he seemed to be a little bit younger than her, but around her age. He was sitting on a bench, seemingly oblivious to the rest of the world. One of his hands was out, and a small, beautiful blue canary was perched on it. Allison put her hands over her mouth and giggled. The boy slightly resembled a walking bird perch, as several more of the cute little birds appeared to be nesting peacefully on his shoulders and in his hair, which was blonde, or at least what Allison could see of it, the parts that were not obscured by the birds.
Allison beamed at the boy and immediately started towards him. She tried to step softly on the ground so as to not scare away the birds, for this boy had stirred her curiosity. He looked so peaceful and almost as though he was in another universe complete, away from all the death, loud noises, and harshness that this world offered. He looked serene and happy, oblivious, and Allison always wanted to be a part of something like that. He looks almost un - lifelike, thought Allison. Like a statue carved out of stone but vibrant with colours and the illusion of life

OOC// Sorry for the wait.

Xavier was caught up managing new friends he seemed to make in the village, as a few others departed from his hair and join the blue one on his arm, he didn't notice Allison on her approach. He would've looked her way, but he feared scaring them off for some reason. There was plenty of room beside him on the bench, as if he had prepared to allow strangers to sit beside him but nobody chose to join him. He raised his other hand to his head to ruffle his hair and try make the birds leave it alone, but when they saw his hand they flew away until he desisted, and simply landed in his hair again.
However Allison on her slow arrival did change up the game slightly, as a few birds went to circle her a number of times, almost as if trying to signal something before flying away, and it wasn't much longer before the rest followed suit. The little boy finally looked up at her, the sun making his eyes sparkle. "Why hello there... you weren't watching all of that, were you?" He rubbed the back of his head starting to blush with embarrassment.

(( OOC : It is fine, do not have any worries xD. Also, I love the topic / thread name! I can never come up with those kinds of names :D ))
Allison just kept beaming at the boy as she wandered closer and closer to him. He hadn`t seemed to notice her yet, but seemed to have decided that his new friends were a little more unwelcome than she had originally thought. He ran his hand through his hair, shooing away the birds, but they always came back once he put his hand back down. Allison kept himself from giggling once she saw him give in to the beautiful creatures, and just stopped and allowed them to roam freely in his hair and on his shoulders.
Eventually, Allison reached the place where the boy was sitting. It was a very simple bench, the kind that was always sitting out, next to the pathways, in parks and places like this. Right now, Allison was in Peace Village, but these benches were the exact kind of thing that Allison would expect to see in a place like this. Either way, there was plenty of room next to the boy on the bench, so Allison moved to take a seat when she stopped rather abruptly. Some of the birds had flown away from the boy as Allison had moved closer and closer, and they now flew around the curious girl, with an odd pattern to their circling. Allison tilted her head at them and then shook her thoughts away. They were just being silly, there was nothing to be afraid of.
Allison took a seat next to the boy on the bench. He seemed faintly embarrassed, as though it was something to be slightly ashamed of, attracting canaries and becoming a bird perch. Allison didn`t think it was anything like embarrassing, although she did think it was funny. Either way, she could hear him say something as she took a seat next to him. "Why hello there... you weren't watching all of that, were you?" Allison tilted her head at him and then beamed brightly.
"Well, I was watching, but I`m not going to judge you or anything. I was actually fairly envious of you, you looked so peaceful and oblivious to the entire world around you. I would love to feel like that, to feel nothing but my own world, even for a little bit." Allison tilted her head again. "So, what`s your name? I`m a mage, and mine`s Allison, Allison S. S stands for surname." She joked. In actuality, Allison didn`t know her surname, but was curious as to whether or not this boy was anything special. There was an odd aura about him, especially with the birds thing.

Xavier sort of craned his head when he heard her speak. Her tone was something he'd never heard used when being spoken to essentially about him self. The other people in the world always seem to think they had him figured out by simply looking at him, and it irked him to his very core. But she was different, a pleasant surprise in an odd land as it were. My own world she says. I have plenty of my own world, but unlike most people I'd rather not be in it. He turned his gaze to her after she sat down beside him, and he took her in with accepting eyes. he had never met anyone with truly red hair before, and it was astonishing, he felt somewhat infatuated by her appearance and his blushing persisted. He turned to his side, so he could hide the one unsightly part of his life, the large scar on his left forearm. "I'm a mage as well, My name is Xavier, but my friends just call me X." Well, they would if I had any that could actually speak. He gave her the most sincere smile he could manage.

Allison beamed at the boy. "Oh! It`s nice to hear that you`re a mage as well, it`s nice to meet you, Xavier. I love meeting new people!" Allison laughed and then tilted her head and looked at the boy again, from a different angle. She leaned forward until her nose was almost touching his, then tilted her head again. Then, she picked up his left arm and was about to push up his sleeve when she realised that 1) There was not a sleeve covering his left forearm, and 2) She was acting like a crazy person. Allison fiercely blushed and then dropped his arm promptly and leaned back, away from Xavier. She noted that he was slightly blushing as well, and then tilted her head uncertainly. She did hope that she hadn`t caused that.
"I`m sorry, Xavier. I looked at your face, and you were apprehensive about something. You were nervous about something. I can read people, you see, it`s what I do. I fix people." Allison smiled brightly at Xavier. She hoped that whatever he was anxious about wasn`t an injury, or something that caused him to suffer. He seemed so peaceful, so Allison doubted that he needed fixing, but one never knew. She smiled at the boy again. "You`re a mage, right! So, what guild are you in? Or are you not in a guild? I`m in Eclipse Soul, by the way. But don`t get me wrong, I`m not looking for redemption or anything. I`m not evil, or dark. But I heard that there were a lot of troubled people in Eclipse Soul, and I want to help people. That`s my job, fixing people. That`s why I was worried about your arm, you see."
Allison returned Xavier`s genuine smile as sincerely as she possibly could. Some people got the wrong idea about her, and thought just because she had the lineage of a demon and that she liked how blood looked, she was evil, or dark. Allison didn`t mind these people, since everyone was entitled to their opinion, especially concerning her, since forcing people to believe in something sometimes caused pain and suffering. And taking away those things was Allison`s business, that was Allison`s goal in her life. She tilted her head again in contemplation and looked at Xavier.

Meeting new people was always a challenge for him, he hardly ever saw eye to eye with anyone. He was about to open his mouth to speak, but as she neared his face he became startled, and unsure of how to react. On the inside he was shaking, there was something about Allison that made him very uneasy, to any other person he would pushed them away gently and asked for his personal space, but around her he couldn't seem to think straight. He only blushed harder as her face was close to his, his cheeks burning a proud crimson color.
When she reeled back he still seemed to be at a loss for words, even more so in light of in light of the things she was telling him. She can read people? Like their minds? Or is she just well versed in noting body language or something? He nervously rubbed his scarred arm as he pulled it back away from her, he really didn't want her to see. Not that he knew about what she felt about injured people, he just didn't want pity. "I'm a new mage to the guild Lamia Scale, people I talked to told me that was the place I needed for the kind of, er... stuff that I was looking for. What do you mean by fixing people?

Allison tilted her head again in contemplation and looked at Xavier. She beamed at him. "I can still tell what you`re thinking. I can`t read people`s minds, don`t be silly. That`s not my power." Allison laughed and then was about to move her face close to his again when she stopped herself. He got kind of upset when I did it earlier, thought Allison. I had better not do it again until I know what`s troubling him for sure. Allison smiled at Xavier. She then reached over and grabbed his left arm, the one that he had been rubbing for a few seconds now. There was something about it that made him nervous. She yanked him up and down, inspecting the arm from all sides.
"Oh, that`s cool. Lamia Scale is nice." Allison absentmindedly replied to Xavier. Well, there isn`t really anything particularly different about the arm itself, Allison thought. Then, she noticed a large scar on Xavier`s forearm. Hmm, maybe this was why he didn`t want to show me... Allison shrugged and dropped his arm. The scar looked fine, and since the boy didn`t appear to be suffering, it wasn`t any of Allison`s business to fix him or anything. Oh! That`s right, the boy had asked something about her job, her fixing of people. Well, Allison could explain if he wanted.
"Fixing people is how I stop pain. Sometimes I`ll use a spell on them. Sometimes I have to fix them completely, if they`re broken. Some dark mages are really broken, but any one can be fixed. Some people call me crazy, and they say that I`m evil. But I want to fix the world. That`s my dream, I`m going to remove all the pain and suffering from this world." Allison smiled serenely at Xavier. She was glad the boy was asking questions; after all, curiosity was never a bad thing, unless you were prying into other peoples` business. But Allison didn`t mind his questions, since she was a naturally curious person herself.
(( OOC : You do know what Allison means by fixing right? That`s why she`s in Eclipse Soul, she needs to learn to control herself. She`s gotten much better actually, before she used to fix people right and left, regardless of whether or not they were actually broken enough to require it. ))

Allison had a surprising amount of strength, he found out as she yanked him around like a ragdoll with very little effort so she could look at his arm, and when she actually spotted the scar, electricity began to bounce between his fingers yet again. He tensed up and breathed carefully to try and steady his nerve so he wouldn't hurt the very intrusive but kind girl. I used to think not getting any attention was a bad thing, now I'm not so sure.
"You... alter people's lives so they don't feel any pain, or misery? All with a simple spell? Why, what makes you so determined to do this for people, you have no debt to them."
OOC// I think I remember you saying something about fixing being the removal of emotions, or something?

(( OOC : Allison usually fixes people by simply killing them. She does it a lot, or has done it a lot, so she always says that she can do it without hurting them. This is why she`s in Eclipse Soul. ))
Allison paused. What did this boy mean? What was a debt? She tilted her head at him and looked at Xavier curiously. "They don`t owe me any debt for them. I suppose I was wrong about before. I`m looking for redemption, but I`m going to fix the world. And I`ll fix everyone. No more pain or sorrow. Only dreams. No more tears, no more suffering." Allison smiled dreamily as she pictured her beautiful world, without anything except numbness and happiness. No one would ever get hurt, no one would ever feel pain. Allison peered at Xavier again, still confused.
"When I fix people, I don`t always do it with one spell. I can cut people`s nerves to take physical pain away, so it doesn`t hurt. I can stop their heart and make emotional pain go away. There`s always a way to fix something that has been broken." Allison tilted her head and stared at Xavier. This boy was interesting, that was something that was for certain. "Some people don`t want to be fixed. But if something`s broken, that`s not good, right? I fix people. Sometimes I don`t have to fix them, if they`re not suffering. Like you, you`re not suffering. And a lot of people think I should leave others alone. But why leave something broken if it can be fixed? I just don`t get it."
Allison bit her lip and looked at Xavier. She wondered if he agreed with the others, that she should just not meddle in others` business. But it was her business if they were suffering, and it was her job and business to fix them. Leaving people like that was a crime. Allison could take the pain away, and why would people object to that? "I can fix people in a way where they don`t feel anything. No pain. After that, all that`s left is dreams. Dreams and numbness. I`ve done it a lot before, and I don`t do it as much now. I know other ways to fix people. But if they`re really broken, I can fix them without them hurting at all. And sometimes, if it`s just a physical injury, I can cut the nerves or I can heal them. That`s my magic, pain magic. Pain, Stop."

Xavier looked at her, very concerned. He once had a similar outlook as her, or at the least, to the way she described, but things weren't just that simple. Life is meant to be an endeavor. The pain and suffering, only makes the moments we really do cherish that much more defining. Challenges thrown our way test our resolve, and the people we meet create our will live on. These we simple ideas he had put together after reading so many books in his life. Choosing the easy way, it isn't living, it's only existing.
The pains she speaks of are real, and common. And clearly she has a set idea of how things should be and nothing might change that. "Allison, if I were... broken," he had trouble using the word broken in such a way, it was unnatural. "Would you know this by just... I dunno, talking, looking into someone's eyes?" He began to question the way his life had played out, as far as he could remember. It wasn't glorious, but every moment he could remember was defining, or had some purpose. The night his mother died, the world tested his resolve, it had to be a test... someone far away was watching.
Taking her words into consideration, he was getting to become a little scared of her. She's killed people, and felt no remorse, and clearly has no issue repeating such an act. What kind of person, so dearly understands the world, but yet lacks a moral compass?
OOC// Sorry I keep leaving you for so long. But don't scare me like that. :P

Then, she grabbed him by the ears and put her face close to his, ignoring the fact that he had seemed very much upset with her when she had done so earlier. Allison tilted her head away from his, then brought it even closer, so that their noses were honestly practically touching. She peered into his eyes with a stark curiosity, and she wasn`t blushing the least bit.
Then, she all of a sudden leaned back, the same as she had done before. "You don`t agree with me," Allison said, regretfully. The boy thought that pain and suffering was an equal part of life. A lot of people thought like that, and it wasn`t Allison`s place to correct their beliefs so that they matched with hers. No, it was just her job to fix people that were broken. Oh! Broken... Yes, the boy had asked something about that as well. Allison tilted her head at him again and then decided to explain.
"I can sometimes tell if people are broken just by looking at them. I mean, I`m sure a lot of people can tell when someone is suffering physically. But usually, I just go up to them and ask them, before I fix them if I`m doing it completely. I don`t want to fix people that aren`t broken, in case that makes them suffer. But I know a way where it doesn`t hurt at all." Allison stopped and looked at Xavier again, with a curious glint in her eyes. The boy thought she was crazy, and there was nothing to be helped about that. Allison supposed that sometimes it didn`t depend on whether or not she would go to a good place. She searched for a place without anything but dreams and numbness. Happiness was a seperate issue. And this boy thought she was doing the wrong thing, but Allison knew the truth.
"I promise. They don`t feel any pain when I fix them. I would never hurt anyone, I promise, I hate suffering." Allison spoke quietly, and with strong determination.

OOC// All this talk of death is frightening
Xavier hung his head looking quite sullen after she came to the realization that he wasn't exactly on the same page as her. "I'm sorry Allison." He waited patiently as she explained her morals another time, noting that she seemed to just repeat herself. He could just feel himself shaking all over, and hugged himself to try and settle down.
He didn't want to make Allison feel like she was different, he's been there before, and it's not fun so he had to keep his mind off of her if he didn't want t be scared. He did the one thing he did well, write and recite poetry.
He was staring up into the sky, as if thinking of some deep seeded memories as he spoke, holding his hand to a lump underneath his shirt, that he grasped in his fist.

"A star in the sky,
A woman of great passion.
She drove her way through world,
And rid the many of scorn.
One couldn't deny,
She was on a great mission,
But her true destiny unfurled...
The day her son was born.
The matrimony was all too sound,
Hearts breaking forward bound.
Their passions were night and day,
Tearing asunder their family way...
The child with no family.
Just him, himself, and destiny."

Allison peered at the boy, with a concerned expression. Yes, he thought she was a bit odd, and yes, he didn`t agree with her beliefs. But he wasn`t even trying to kill her or setting a Rune Knight on her for talking about fixing people. Usually others would even just run away. But this boy... he didn`t seem to think she was crazy, like the rest of them. She moved closer to him and gave him a hug over his own self-hug. Xavier seemed to be shaking, and Allison didn`t quite know why, but she gave him a hug anyways. This boy didn`t need fixing, but maybe he needed affection?
She noticed that he was just staring almost blankly up into the beautiful, clear sky, and then he began to speak. Allison thought that the words would be a question of some sort, directed at her, but instead it was poetry. Beautiful poetry, but it had a tragic feeling that didn`t sit well in Allison. She liked happy and cheerful things, and she wondered if Xavier really was alright after all. And then, she actually heard the first line of the poem for the first time. A star in the sky... That line hit Allison like a brick wall. The stars in our sky, starry nights sleep tight, stars were everywhere... Allison couldn`t escape from her past.
"Thanks for not, you know, running away. A lot of people think I`m crazy..." Allison smiled at the boy, tinted with a bit of sadness. He was still shaking, and his hand was clutched over a part of his shirt. Allison wondered if there was something there, like a scar, that reminded him of something in his past that he wished to forget. Allison had her star shaped mark on her own body, something that she would rather forget.

He hadn't noticed her arm around him until she spoke to him, thinking him for not being like the others. He looked into her eyes and could see she was visibly shaken by his words. "I'm sorry if I made you feel sad. I shouldn't go around making my problems the problems of other people." He put his arm around her, now that they had some sort of understanding. From under his shirt he pulls out a locket on a silver chain, and opens it with care. On the inside was a blonde haired woman, but he closed it too quickly to have gotten many details, and put it back under his shirt. He hugged Allison tight, and let go to stand up, and step away from the bench.
"Allison. Not everyone thinks the same way as each other. It may be hard to get accustomed to, but that is a moniker that stands true even today. Despite what others think, of the world, of the laws or even of you, it's not something we can help. It will ruin good relationships and start bright ones, but it's not something we change. Do me a favor, and do what you can to keep your integrity." He straightened out his clothes "You aren't crazy Allison." He tensed up for a moment. "I have to go. There are places I need to be. Don't forget me, or what I told you." He slowly began walking away. It was rather odd watching a twelve year old trying to act like some sort of badass, even if he played the role well.

Allison tilted her head again and looked at him strangely as he gave her a hug back. Why was he hugging her? She wasn`t shaking, and she wasn`t rattled. She was perfectly fine. Allison just watched as he then opened up what he had been clutching in his hand; it was a locket. The girl barely caught a flash of a woman, very pretty, with light coloured hair. Allison tilted her head. Was the woman his mother? Xavier had the same shade of hair.
Xavier then told her she wasn`t crazy. Well, she already knew that, but that didn`t mean that she minded hearing it again. After all, a lot of people thought she was crazy. Allison had been beaming as the boy spoke, but then she realised what he had said before. "... do me a favor, and do what you can to keep your integrity." Allison bristled as she remembered this, and then moved away from him. There had been no need to; he obviously was in a bit of a rush now, to get away from this evil person with no integrity and morals. A lot of people thought Allison was like that, and she had thought that this boy was different. And she wouldn`t forget what he had told her. Allison never forgot what people had said to her, how they said that she had no morals and that she was cruel and harsh and only wanted perfection in people, and that was why she killed those who were injured.
Allison watched the boy leave, with no regrets. Yes, she had thought that he was nice, at first. Different, for sure. But he was the same, same as everyone else. She wouldn`t have ever hurt him, though, Allison didn`t do things like that. She didn`t hurt people, and especially for something like herself. She protected them. Helped them. Allison watched the boy stride away, trying to act all tough and as though he was helping a poor, sick child. She wanted to snarl in his face and then realised how much that might hurt him. She wanted to use Repression, but realised how much that would hurt him. She wanted to... to... what was she thinking? Allison felt all her emotion fade away. Numbness. Serenity. Much better.
She lifted her eyes to Xavier`s retreating form and beamed brightly, sincerely. She couldn`t feel anything any more. "Bye, Xavier! I`ll miss you! Take care of yourself, don`t injure yourself or make yourself suffer. If you need any help with anything, you can talk to me. It`s okay if you think I have bad integrity. Whatever makes you happy~" Allison kept smiling at him, her inhumanly peaceful and dreamy face back in place. Her emotions were buried under her mind. She went back to humming and skipping around the park, people watching for the rest of the day.

(( OOC : In this thread, you just opened up Allison`s emotions and then shoved them to the bottom of her brain. Lol. It`ll be hard for her to feel again for awhile, now, I guess. ))

OOC// Even though I created Xavier to be somewhat of an asshole, I forgot what that would do to me as a person, damnit. XD I'm hurting inside, I could never really harm a person like that I'm so sorry Allison. Q.Q
