    629 of 6300 words total.

“Hey Hemlock?” the little girl was sitting at his left hind leg, leaning against it, her own right flank being covered by silver, putting her in a comfy warm position. Frey looked up at her dragon mentor was she spoke to him, a tree branch with nice juicy young leaves held in her hand, her lunch after a long training session with him. “Yes Frey?” his deep voice echoed through her, bringing the comfort he helped provide even while she adjusted to her new body, causing a smile to spread across her almost skin tone lips. “Have you found out anything about where Leila is for me?” she had asked him after returning for her first training session after meeting the girl, a simple request to keep his ears out for any word he could find of the more powerful mage. Now? The little girl was beginning to want to see Leila again, so she was asking if he had found anything in the time she had taken adjusting to her new, older body. “You must promise me to be careful this time child.” she sat up on her knees, placing her small hands on his leg with a playful shove. “Of course I’ll be careful! So where is she?!” the little girl wanted to play with her knight in shining armor again, and she also wanted to play with the sword the teenager could produce with those floating black orbs born of whatever magic she used. “Apparently she’s heading to a location where she will travel to the cloud sea from, it’s a mission she was asked on.” he did not mention why he was so afraid of her going after the other girl on this. Hemlock was concerned due to Frey’s body actually being made from the earth, he was concerned what prolonged submersion in water would do to her, wondering if being wet for too long could kill the little girl even though she did take baths and swim, those were different from an underwater mission.

A few hours later, the little girl had arrived at the research station that Leila was suppose to be heading towards, dismounting Silver carefully, since he was too big to fit in the small building. Frey knocked on the metal door, hearing it echo and wondering if she could eat through it, guessing she might not be able to due to how refined it looked. “What? A Little Girl, Are You Lost Child.” the main researcher opened the door at the knocking and was shocked by the sight of a ten year old in a long sleeved dress. “No but you are going to do something for me.” he quirked his eye at her, watching her as she invited herself into the building, smiling happily as she looked around, looking for something shiny she could make her own. “The wizard you contacted for a mission, Leila, you're going to add me onto that mission. Or I will start wrecking your station, and so will my wolf.” he would have clearly took a little girl's words as a joke, but she was a mage and he could feel that, so the man did not try to object her wish, which was good, because she wasn’t joking. Anyone who did not have the sense to worship or at least bend to the will of a princess like herself? Didn’t even deserve to be alive. Frey took her head of the last thought, smiling at his agreement. “So I’ll just wait here until she gets here.” the little girl pulled out a chair, placing her hemlock plushie on the table in front of her, grabbing some pencils and beginning to scribble drawings on paper that might be important, not caring for their worth.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 19th October 2016, 6:24 am

It has been a while now from the time she dived into the deep sea and recovered that strange, spherical gem that was apparently a great artifact for the researchers. It took them a good while before they were able to fully get hand of it’s power. After all, it did make all the sea creatures go berserk when near it, clearly indicating that it was something pretty dangerous to say the least. But now, they managed to put it into their machines and control it’s power. So now that it was useful to them, they wanted Leila to continue working for them. After all, they had little in the way of combat experiences among themselves, and they needed someone strong and reliable to gather informations for them. Or rather, they wanted more just info this time. They wanted another object, a certain map that she had to find underwater for them. She arrived at the research station quite early, getting all the information she needed without any problems. She was actually really happy to be back at this place, the underwater was something that was very interesting to the silver haired girl. Just like space, it was something that was yet to be fully explored. And because of that, there was a great unknown, an element of surprise that would bring out the boredom of one's life and crush it with ease. Exactly what the Eden’s mage was looking for in her daily life, something exciting and new! Something that perhaps no one before her had done. Well, that was pretty unlikely… but hey, there was still a good chance that scenario would come true, right? In any case, she still had few things to prepare before she would head out, meaning she was stuck in the station itself for a little while longer. And as she was preparing her things, she saw unusual sounds coming from somewhere else in the building. Watching from a slightly hidden spot, she saw a young girl that was trying to force her way into the contract. Something like that, well… it actually looked kinda funny. A young child, threatening an adult. But as amusing as that was, there was no need to put the fragile researcher into distress. Silently getting behind the green-haired girl, she formed one of the already summoned black orbs into a stick to gently tap the girl’s head from behind.

“I’m afraid I cannot allow that. I’m rather invested in this research myself, and it would be a big setback for all of us, me included!”

If the young girl turned, she probably found Leila floating above the ground surface in a position of turkey sit, all the other balls floating beneath her instead of behind her. And even though she spoke harshly, she still had a smile on her face. But as soon as she spotted the girl’s face, she become… mildly confused. She was very similar to someone she had met not too long ago. And then it hit her!

“Ah! You must be Frey’s older sister! That explains how you knew my name… hehe, nice to meet you~”

Probably not a reaction that Frey expected, but… of course the Eden’s mage would get confused like that! There was no way someone could grow so much in manner of only few days, something like that should be simply impossible! Even for a powerful dragon slayer, it just seemed too weird. So she logically assumed that the girl was somehow related to Frey, but not Frey herself. Who could blame her. And now that the researcher saw that the two females knew one another, he decided to not intervene at all, allowing Frey to accompany the more powerful wizard on this job. He had no ideas what they would encounter under the water’s surface, but he was sure that Leila would protect the child if something bad would happen. So now she was hired as a babysitter as well, apparently.

As the researcher argued with her a little bit yet mostly submitted due to her being a mage? The young female continued eating the tender leaves off a branch she had plucked on her way here, moving onto the branch itself once that was complete. It was when something tapped her in the back of green head that she ceased eating the branch, turning around with half of it sticking out of her mouth, quickly chewing and swallowing the rest of it before she spoke. “Than let me come with.” even if she liked Leila a good deal, she was not above wrecking this place to get her own way, no matter how invested the other mage was in it! Rune was pleased thought, seeing the knight sitting atop her black orbs once more. Maybe she’d get a sword this time as well? Thought she had figured out how to get her own sword from the ground by now. The slayer cocked her head at Leila’s confused expression, wondering what it was for. She was not happy when she discovered why miss knight looked confused! In fact the tiny princess was rather irate, , wondering how best to punish the foolish woman who could not recognize her!

“I Am Not An Elder Sister!” it was instantly commented the second Leila made her mistake, an error that angered Frey greatly until the child remembered she did indeed look significantly older now. The fright she felt when she had first awoken to her aged up body? Was still fresh in her mind, but she was getting over it and even coming to enjoy it here and there. How she would fix this mistake was beyond the child thought. “I actually don’t even have an older sibling, just a sister my own age and mother.” although both of them were adoptive, it was better than what she had been growing up with before, and she was even happier to have them now that she seemed to be growing up at an accelerated rate. If she had started doing this back in the village that had been raising her before? Than the girl would have never made it through this weird event that had happened to her body, she just would have no clue what to do, it would be horrible! However she had to get back to the main ideal of what was going on right now, correcting Leila on who the princess standing before her was, the fact she should be acting as a knight again right now! How was she going to prove who she was, when she had no actual proof due to her body being changed. “Leila, It’s Me, I Am Frey.” she went to the side and dug through a bag she’d placed on silver, producing her plushie from it, holding the familiar item in front of her face. She couldn’t possibly look at someone who didn’t know the precious thing they were staring at, so she’d use the item as proof and protection! “My body was too small to contain my power after I both became a slayer and ranked up, so since it’s mostly made of earth anyways, my body was aged up overnight to suit my new power level.” it was one of the downsides to having a vessel not made of the normal fleshy substance, but she wouldn’t trade her body for a normal one, even if she could.

Leila better believe her, cause the child was done with that topic, she wanted to getting to spend time with the more powerful mage. If she had to? She’d prove herself along the way, maybe with a wonderful magical dragon slayer spell. “Oh Yeah, This Is Silver.” first she had to introduce the large wolf standing beside her, a beast truly fitting a princess, looking as if he was made of some sort of ice. “I’m ready to go when you are!” of course there was the question of how Frey had found Leila here in the first place, but why worry about that when they could be doing something far more fun!

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 19th October 2016, 11:17 am

For some reason, this girl wanted to come with Leila really badly. What was the reason for that? She had really no idea… right now, she was pretty sure that she was meeting this child for the very first time in her life. And even if she was fan of the Eden’s mage, the fact that she wanted to force her way in like this was simply too much. Though it would make her extremely happy, knowing that she actually had a fan who would try to find her like this just to see her and even work with her. Sadly, that was not really the case as Frey started explaining her situation to everyone present. This was Frey herself, not one of her possible sibling or anyone else. But… how exactly was something like this possible in the first place?! Unless Leila had a blackout she did not remember at some point, there was no way someone could grow up this fast, that was just not right. Well, at least she did not have to wait too long for the answer to all that. Frey did her best to explain just how did it all came to this, but Leila had still slight problems with understanding it overall. She met a slayer before, but their body wasn’t made out of Ice just because that was their element. So there was more to this little girl than she knew? Well, most likely. She actually didn’t know a whole lot about her, so it was obvious that she would come to know something new.

”Ah… I… I see. My apologies for the mistake. It’s, uh… not every day you see something like this with your own eyes.”

Good thing the little princess didn’t actually want to punish Leila in any way. That would probably not end up going all too well, especially for the silver haired maiden. But at least she was talking about a still relatively small kid here, so it wasn’t like she would ask her to do something sadistic or embarrassing. At least she hoped that was the case anyway. She wanted to ask Frey if she would try to explain everything a little bit more but she also had a feeling that she would annoy the girl with question like that, so she kept silent for the sake of not making her mad and accidentally breaking something important in this place. She really wanted to know where this research will lead, so it would be rather unfortunate if that were to happen. Frey also introduced what appeared to be her pet, a pretty big wolf with lovely silver fur. It was probably magical at least to some extend, but Leila wondered if her lineage power would make it so that this animal will instantly like her or not. So she tried petting it once before retreating her hand to a safe distance.

”I would love to stay here and chat, princess. But I have a job to do underneath the water’s surface, so if you really want to join me… we should head out now. I hate to burden you, but our time is not unlimited.”

Post by Pandora 19th October 2016, 11:49 am

Frey wanted to come with Leila and stay with the older mage for one really simple reason, this girl fed into her perfectly. Before they met? No one really directly and purposefully fed into her need to be treated like a princess, someone high and mighty but at the same time small and precious, a sacred entity. Finding someone who did this singular thing, made her want to spend more and more time around them, keep the individual as close as possible. In fact the little girl may even want to force someone to make a castle for the two of them to keep playing this game in, because unlike Leila, the child was not playing, she had no reason to do so. Rune did truly admire Leila thought, so the mage could feel good about that, with one meeting she had this child hooked on her, in a way that may only grow as time went on, especially since the child was not restricted to the aging normal people were subjected to. One day soon, she might even be the other girl’s age! Actually growing up that fast was frightening and Frey was not sure if she wanted it, the child had heard thing’s got more complicated as you grew up and recently witnessed it with what her mother experienced, the event that drove her to being an earth dragon slayer. Frey shook her head, regardless of what they were doing, trying to erase the pain her adoptive father had caused to her adoptive mother, and in turn caused the little girl herself. “It freaked me out at first too, I had to wrap myself in a sheet and knock on my mother’s door for help because none of my old clothing fit.” which provided the fact the child had been required to purchase entirely new clothing, like the unique dress she wore today.

“And my explanation is really a guess, since I don’t know my birth parents it could have something to do with them.” it revealed that even though the child mentioned her mother often, she didn’t actually know the woman who had given birth to her and the family she mentioned was likely an adoptive one. “Not even the village that found me knew anything about them.” the child looked sad as she spoke, holding her hand in a fist above her heart, crestfallen at reliving all of that. First? She’d been an orphan being raised in a village that let her know it, but loved her the same, than she lost it. Even though she was happy with Kanix and Fairy Tail it still hurt sometimes that she had lost so much before she even knew she had it. “But it’s not a problem, because i’ll find my birth parents when I’m old enough!” she refused to believe her mother had abandoned her on purpose, believed their must have been a very good reason. Maybe something to do with the darker desires and more princess like attitude that had been coming back after she escaped the earth-mates constantly scolding her for both. Had her mother left her in that village because of the way they were, knowing she was like this? Nah, that wasn’t possible, besides the child couldn’t accept that since she was no longer in the village.

“The Amazing Princess Is Right Behind Her Valiant Knight!” as she spoke silver walked behind her, clearly coming with them as they went along. The sweet side of her showed again, an expression befitting a gentle princess falling on her face. “You're no burden to me, my precious knight~” the little girl chuckled it, glancing down for the next admission, not sure how leila would take it. “I’m the one who had hemlock gather any information he could on your whereabouts.” the little girl admitted. “So let’s go.” hopefully Leila wasn’t mad at her.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 19th October 2016, 1:05 pm

Apparently Frey was feeling pretty talkative. It was pretty unusual for anyone to just give you this much information about themselves, even if that someone was pretty childish like this girl was. And it perhaps wasn’t even that much of a surprise that she was this way… abandoned and left for other to care for her. Awfully many mages had it the same way in this generation, even Leila herself. She never had any parents at all because of the way she came to be, not even ones that she could search for. She was not birthed, she simply… existed. Because that was who she was, a simple being made out of magical energy floating through the endless voice between worlds, a cruel experiment of the ever expanding universe. But she did not mind, because she managed to get a good adoptive father that cared for her dearly for all 18 years before he passed away. But before that happened, he made sure that he gave the girl everything he could, teaching her about the world and it’s ways, even letting her become a wizard despite not quite liking it. It was shame that he was no longer around… and it was even greater shame that Leila was fated to break her promise with him, no matter how hard she would try in the future. But it was all fine at this point in time, so there was no need to worry about anything. Frey had adoptive mother as well, and she even had a dragon that was working as her tutor, teaching her the very destructive slayer magic. As far as she knew, this little green-haired devil had it pretty good!

”Heh, I can imagine. But now you’ve lived through it once and it all went fine. So if it ever happens again, you’ll know what to do and everything will be just fine, trust me!”

Few words of encouragement that perhaps were not even needed. She just wanted to make sure Frey knew that Leila was in fact listening and that she knew how it probably felt. It must have been something very unusual… but things that are completely and utterly unknown were fun too, so maybe it was not all that bad either. Changing like that, it surely opened many different options to her, creating a whole new world of fun for her that she could try out whenever she wanted to. Of course there was that worry of hers about her family and origin… but as she said, she would look for them. And then she would probably fine them too! Leila’s palm found it’s way to Frey’s head, giving her a gentle pat.

”I’m sure you will find princess. Someone so strong and smart like you, there is not even a single doubt in my mind that you’ll be just fine and that your search will be very successful. So you don’t have to bother with it now, leave tomorrow’s problems to tomorrow’s you.”

That was something that the Eden’s mage lived by, mostly because she was just lazy. But it also helped with the stress of daily life when you did not have to be bothered by it at all. She chuckled as Frey spoke when they were leaving and simply nodded. She kinda figured that someone probably helped her find this place, unless the little girl actually was really smart. But she did not mind, the girl was free to do whatever she wanted. So if she wanted to find the silver haired maiden, that was her thing alone. For now, they just headed towards the gate. It was on the surface, but on the other side… an area that was submerged deep below the water’s surface. Thankfully the artifact would protect them from drowning and getting their clothes wet. So there was at least that.

”Feel free to follow me if you’re ready. I’ll be waiting for you to get through, so you don’t have to worry about finding yourself alone once on the other side.”

Giving her those words and an encouraging smile, Leila touched the portal with one hand and watched as it’s surface created waves, much like water’s surface would. It was fitting. And then, without any warning, she just jumped in! It was an instant portal so she immediately found herself in the water with a rather weird feeling. It was… rather odd to say the least to be suddenly able to breath under the water just fine, as if she was standing on the beach still.

When they had last meant, the child had not developed an opinion on the powerful mage until they were in combat. Now that she had chosen to be rather fond of the translucent haired girl? Frey was plenty talkative, because she was entertained by this one and thus liked Leila very much. All of this was just a game to the older woman, the knight and princess thing was a facade, but it was very serious to the child. A princess should always tell their most trusted knight everything, or it would interfere with the knight’s ability to protect the treasured royal child. Frey was only following the order of things by revealing those things to Leila, because one day she might very well ask the dashing knight to come after her if she was gone looking for her birth family for too long, encase something bad happened. However that was for far into the future, right now she was only a child who just found her future knight in shining armor, they had to bond more at the moment, because make no mistake, this woman was never getting away from the little girl. “Yeah, but I don’t ever want to experience it again, so I need to grow more. I mean if I had been stronger I wouldn’t have lost the village.” she would tell her knight more about that later, but nothing else would be said on that day right now, instead they had other things to concern themselves with, things that would prevent her from getting too close to her chosen knight right away, encase something went haywire.

“Better enjoy patting my head while you can, I promise I’ll be tall one day!” the child leaned into the ruffle even as she warned the charming older mage it would not always work on her. For the moment thought? It was a fine thing to do all the time, until one day she would become old enough that it would be reserved for the most tender of moments, a special thing between them. “That kinda sounds lazy..” why put off something to tomorrow, when you could do it today? But she knew what the teenager was saying, a smile crossing her skin tone lips as she spoke, a small laugh rising up between them. “But I get it anyway’s.” Leila was just trying to help her, she was doing the proper thing for someone in her position! So it was time to reward the older woman, moving forward to give her a brief hug around the waist, since the child couldn’t reach much higher.

Getting atop the back of her giant wolf came before she would follow Leila into the portal, so Frey watched her go, regretting as she did so. What kind of princess just let their knight go first? Sure it was the job of someone precious like her to remain out of danger, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t have fun fighting. A powerful princess should sometimes work to make sure her underlings were safe, instead of always letting them take the dive, maybe she would start taking plunges alongside Leila when she was older, that was what really should have happened this time. Rune disliked the idea that what she spent so long getting Hemlock to track, had now crossed through a mysterious portal without her. No words were needed to get the massive wolf to leap through the portal, he knew how the little girl atop his back felt, they had been together that long, so he’d follow her unspoken command without complaint. Beside’s for some reason he did not seem to dislike Leila in the way he instantly disliked everyone else she met! In fact the wolf seemed eager to follow the other mage, maybe leaping through for her as much as he did for the little girl he owed his life to.

“I know I don’t have to worry, no true knight would leave their precious princess behind~” the little girl laughed it happily, her eyes closed as she adjusted to the different pressure around her, seeming weak for a second before the artifact truly kicked in and protected her body from the overbearing amount of water around her. Short of this event? It might have not been idea to take a girl made of dirt to the ocean floor, but now there was no concern, large green eyes looking around in wonder at what they had jumped into. “Ooh Food!” one would think she was speaking of the food, but she went right for a bright green piece of glowing seaweed, biting into it and ripping off a good chuck, slurping it down like spaghetti. “This stuff is saltier than I expected.” but she took a few strands of it for the road, so she could keep powering herself with her diet of earth made things. “Let’s find something more interesting than glowing plants!” she spoke it as she grabbed Silver’s neck fur, letting him do her swimming for her, laying against his back as they went along the path provided to them, the little girl munching on the world's foreign plants. “You know I was shocked? Normally he hates everyone who comes near me, but Silver seems to like you.” the wolf was not going to bark underwater, but he showed his side of this statement by swimming up alongside Leila.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 20th October 2016, 5:56 am

Wanting to grow up as fast as you can… that was something typical that most children wanted because they saw adults as awesome people. And only too late they would realize that being one is not easy at all. It’s why kids want to be old while adults want to be young again. She was the same way several years back. She was a little girl that always had to stay behind her mechanical protector in order for him to be able to fully protect her. Because unlike Frey, she did not have her magic at that time. Leila got access to the Gardens of Eden only once she became a full adult, her matured body finally able to channel the magical energies from another dimension. So she knew exactly how it felt to be completely defenseless child that needed protection She wanted to grow up as fast as she possibly could in order to be able to protect herself and others that were important to her. Frey was a bit different from that, but she still wanted to grow up as fast as she could, just for slightly different reasons. But for now, she was still a cute little thing that enjoyed head pats just as anyone else. The fact that she leaned into Leila’s hand, it was one of the most adorable things she had ever seen and it forced a bright smile onto her face. Somehow… she just wished that the time could freeze at that point, never to move again. Because the Eden’s mage felt inside of her that this happiness would somehow be tainted in the future. There was something slowly changing within her, and all colors were slowly starting to fade away from the world. But now? Now she was able to see everything as brightly as ever! Was it because of the girl’s smile? It was possible, probable even. And that was fine, for Frey seemed to really like the silver haired maiden. Admiration of an innocent child, it was so pure and refined… you could almost not find anything equal to it at all. So for as long as she could, she wanted to make it last.

”Even if you do grow tall, princess should never stop receiving head pats, right? Because princess should get whatever she wants and whenever she wants it, that is only natural!”

While Leila was joking of course, it probably sounded serious to the green haired princess. Hopefully she wouldn’t take it to her heart too much… or perhaps she should? Leila was enjoying this game between them for some reason, so perhaps it would be for the best if Frey became even more demanding. Because something like that would make the game more intense, it would force the Eden’s mage further in. And distracting her like that from the reality, it would be something good. At least in her opinion anyway, others could find it all very wrong, something that should not be done, that she should face it all head on. And it was also feeding Leila’s less reputable side, the one filled with weird masochistic desires that should probably be buried deep inside of her, never to be seen again. Best to leave those thoughts as soon as possible now. As her mind returned from the clouds and back into the reality, the smile on her face twisted a little bit when Frey mentioned that it is lazy. But she also admitted that it was all good, so… yeah! It all worked! As for to portal? Frey had no hesitation at all, seemingly jumping right in after Leila. It was nice that she had this confidence, even though she was facing something completely unknown. Or perhaps it was just that childish ignorance again, unaware of the possible dangers on the other side? It was probably partially both. But at least there were no dangerous creatures right at the portal, which was very nice. It gave both of them, or mainly Leila, to appreciate all that they could see. Stunningly beautiful underwater flowers that were glowing with many different colors, tiny sea life going about, curious about the new arrivals. They were extremely deep below the water’s surface, glow of the exotic flora being nearly their only source of light. But their shine was greater than anything Leila saw until now, meaning they would have no problems with their vision at all. It was almost as if the sun’s warm rays penetrated the water somehow, that was just how bright some of the plants shone. It was a bit of shame that all Frey saw these things as was source of food and magical energy because of her dragon slaying powers. Honestly, the silver haired maiden would never truly get used to her partners eating plants or other elements that were completely inedible to other living beings.

”Just… make sure you’re not eating anything poisonous, alright?  I should be able to cure effects of venoms and such, but it would be best if you avoided it altogether, for your own sake. We wouldn’t want the princess to feel sick now, would we?”

Even the researchers had very limited data about this place and whatever was inhabiting it. All they provided Leila with was the direction they should head in and the fact that they were looking for some kind of old map which would help them redirect the portal they just used. Quite the adventure indeed! But the princess already grew bored of the amazing plant life here and wanted to move on. It was a shame… but before they could do that, she disclosed another interesting fact. So her aura really did work on the wolf, that was nice. Especially if it was mostly hostile towards others. Leila smiled and scratched her head a little bit, trying to find and excuse that would not be her saying that it was all thanks to her powers.

”I guess she felt that I am on your side, always to protect you as the mighty princess you are? Yes, surely that is it. Why would your friend be harming your guardian, right?”

Well, it was an excuse alright. So at least something. For now, they should just swim forward, following the path that was in front of them and perhaps they would find something interesting along it. That certainly would be nice, spicing things up. Especially since Frey seemed to be easily bored by things around her… hopefully she would not get bored of Leila eventually, that would not be very nice. But people were constantly changing and evolving, so perhaps not. People were the one thing that managed to keep Leila’s attention for all this time, never boring her one bit. So Frey could be exactly the same like herself, unable to actually get bored with another person she liked.

“But when I do grow tall it shall be reserved for touching or tender moment’s! A sacred thing.” the little girl made her statement right after she came through the portal, before she started on her gorging spree. While this word was pretty? Frey was mostly concerning with powering up herself, getting the largest backlog of magic she could achieve before she had to start casting spells, because it would be good for her. Apparently? Hemlock told her, she could become more powerful if she consumed enough energy from the earth. Frey wanted to see what he was speaking of, so she was working at building up the magic required to do whatever she did not yet know of.

When Leila got her attention again by calling her a princess again, she had one of the plants, actually several of them, shoved right into her mouth, preventing speech or even breath, that was her condition when Leila made the comment about poison. Object’s inedible to anyone else were delicious to the slayer, and these plants were a real delicacy, she’d have to take tons of them back with her encase she could never come here again! Frey chewed what she had in her mouth, drawing in the bits of plant she still had outside her mouth, shifting her gaze to Leila as she swallowed. “Actually any status effect besides being frozen that doesn’t come from magic more powerful than mine, doesn’t affect me, and even in the case of stronger magic the effects are much shorter than they’d normally be. The earth-mates told me while they were raising me that by body doesn’t seem to be made from flesh, but instead is likely made from earth.” of course the village had never performed any experiments to confirm their suspicions, because that would be brutally cruel child abuse. However with how durable she was to anything that would normally take down an average mortal, there were not many other options besides her body being made extremely differently from theirs. Thus rune was left with the only small piece of information that could lead to her birth family, because clearly a blood line born of normal flesh could not be hers, she needed to find someone else who had the same sort of body as she did, and maybe than she’d be able to find out why she had been abandoned as an innocent infant.

“Silver even hated my mom at first, so it’s really impressive that he likes you.” she explained the fact further, reaching out to grab more of the sea weed that was growing along the the path they swam. Frey nearly missed having her hand taken off, eyes widening as silver swam upwards to take her from danger . “What Is That?!” the little girl was wide eyes as she separated from Silver, nodding to him as if giving him the okay to do something, instantly his fur seemed to harden considerably and he swam forward swiftly, bringing both of his paws down onto the creature's shell, putting a single crack into the hard exterior, thought it was a very small one, the wolf barely managed to dodge getting pinched, but it appeared he was capable of moving quiet swiftly despite his size. The beast tried to get off the ground, snapping it’s claws at them, and eventually it was going to be able to swim somewhat sloppily up to them, it seemed set on attacking them. Frey made her move next, nodding to silver so he would act again, hitting the beast again, this time with heavy melee attacks, the wolves aided by his tail blade. “You should be able to take it in one shot now!” the little girl giggled slightly, giving a v sign to the more powerful mage. Rune knew she was still too small to take out an enemy all on her own, but she could certainly weaken it so the powerful mage could take it out. Little did Frey know that her aid was actually rather unneeded with how weak the attacker was. Oh well at least the princess felt useful. “Sorry that I’m not using spells yet, Hemlock said something fun will happen if I conserve enough magic.” otherwise Leila might get worried, since she had so easily and freely used her magic before in the tournament fight.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 20th October 2016, 11:38 pm

Leila just had to chuckle when she heard Frey’s comment. Apparently this girl knew more that most of her age would, or at least it appeared like that. Then again, apparent age was usually completely different from the actual age of someone. Though the green haired child did not act that was, it could have been possible that she was hundreds of years old. Probably not… but there certainly were others that were that way. Looking like children while their souls already lived through millenias. Leila wasn’t like that either, but she would be one day. Her body already matured and it was not going to change unless drastic measures would be applied. So even in many, many years, she should look exactly the same. Something like that, it was actually nice to the Eden’s mage. She was still greatly afraid of her own death, and wasn’t planning to die any time soon. And especially not from something so lame as an old age. That would be just… not cool at all. But Frey, she seemingly possessed knowledge that no kid would care about at all. Topic of tender moments and the ability to actually recognize them. She moved beside her partner and patted her head gently once more while grinning.

“I see. Then I should do this as often as I can before you start reserving it all for a boy you’ll come to undoubtedly love. And don’t worry, I won’t start ignoring you even when you do find him and start spending most of your time with him.”

It was probably just a matter of time before she would start searching for a boyfriend like most curious teenagers. It actually made Leila wonder what type of person she would like. Probably one that would let her order them around, just like she was doing with Leila… oh, her future partner might have it pretty harsh. But who knew at this point of time, it was way too soon to be starting to make assumptions like that. Though it would be a lie if the silver haired girl said that she didn’t envy the little girl. As each day passed, the world seemed more bleak and dull to her, all the positive emotions slowly getting pushed into the corner. It was worrisome to say the least… but there was seemingly nothing she could do about it at all. So she just wanted to forget about it, not let it distract her on this job. Frey quickly explained that Her body was resistant to most harmful effects by itself. That made Leila’s abilities a bit less useful, but oh well. She saw her getting sick once, it would not happen for the second time with those powers. So that was at least something she could be happy about, probably. Though it was a bit shame that she was eating all the pretty things here… but… dragonslayers. They were out of the norm, so it was all to be expected in the end. Nothing that could be actually done about it all. Not that it made the fact that her body was made out of earth any more easy to understand, how did that even work. Was she some kind of living golem? Eh, better not think about it too much. At least she was able to enjoy this whole situation by eating things normally inedible. At least to the moment when her wolf started dragging her up, trying to avoid something that was lurking at the sea’s bottom.

    “H..huh? Hey, are you alright?!”

It seemed so, but Leila wanted to be sure. She was to protect her little princess, so if she would get harmed… she would not forgiver herself. Trying to take a closer look, it appeared that they interrupted some kind of.. Crab… thingy? Whatever it was, it wasn’t exactly friendly. It was a shame, but it didn’t look like it would let them be now, so they had to get rid of it. And while Frey did her best to do some damage, it looked like the thing was actually pretty resilient. With a sound of her bell ringing inside of her clothes and her rewriter’s gear activating, the Eden’s mage let her magical energy flow free! And from that, she should be able to finish the thing with something more simple. Growing a plant from the sand below them, she grabbed it’s round bright blue fruit and threw it towards the creature. It wasn’t exactly fast by itself in the water… so she sent out her balls as well, letting them rotate around the fruit and speeding it up. In the end, both the fruit and the orbs crashed into the enemy, causing quite the explosion. And when all the sand fell to the ground again, it was long go. She easily inflicted enough damage to chase it away, showing Frey the V sign back. Hopefully the princess was still impressed with her guardian. Though what she said after that was a bit worrisome… did she intend on entering the force state? That could get… pretty brutal, even with her current level of power.

Sometimes it was the young children who knew the most about the world, regardless of if they had been through it or not. Since Frey had been put through the works so to speak? The child had high ideals of intimacy, she didn’t know it’s more ‘corrupt’ parts yet, but she knew plenty about love, and actually desired to acquire it! After all it was that one thing that seemed to make the world go round, it was weird like that, something so elusive it would never be solid enough for your hands, yet it was strong enough you could be consumed by it. Leila spoke to her again, and the water parted easily to let the older mage stroke her head, ruffling her floating locks. However the other girl’s words were the thing that truly caught her attention. “I will never love a boy romantically.” there was such conviction behind those words, green eyes hardened over as she nodded and seemed to reinstill this ideal into herself. Rune was certain she didn’t want a man for her future relationship! Especially after what she had just seen her mother go through, maybe one day she’d feel attraction towards them when she was old enough for it, but she’d never let herself fall in love with them, feel for them beyond ‘oh that boy has a tight ass’ or such. Instead she’d do her best to find another girl, because women were not self centered, brutal and tactless in the way boys were, another girl wouldn’t abandon her. “Boy’s are no good.” that was the one thing her adoptive father had taught her, by abandoning their family before he had even gotten to meet her! Ditching her mother shortly after they wed, it was something that Frey never wanted to subject herself to, so boys were out of the question. Even so, she’d get her fairytale ending somehow, after all her guild did have that name.

“I’m good with just my knight for now~” the female swam over, enjoying the water, because this time she could give Leila a proper hug. This was such a surreal place for the child, a location where floating in the deep water she could embrace her knight as if they were near the same height, aiming to wrap her hands around the other girls torso and rest her small head on leila’s shoulder with a giggle. One day she’d be tall enough to do this without the water, but for now she was happy with the way things were, a wonderful embrace in a fantasy land. No one could know what the future could hold, but the little girl was fairly set on continuing on with her knight in one way or another, letting their relation develop into whatever it would become, so long as she did not lose this bond she had forged. Frey liked their banter and the way the two of them interacted, even if she did seem to drop things quickly in favor of stuffing her face with the glowing plants down here. As Leila had thought however, it was just a dragon slayer thing, to eat anything edible to them, because their energy basically came from eating things. Right now she was starting to wonder if a stone she spotted on the ground would look any bit good. Frey swam down to pick it up, and keep a hold of it for now.

“I think I’m alright, Though I guess I should invest in forming my earth sword soon.” she didn't want to use her other skills yet, because they consumed lots of magical power for a short duration spell and she was trying to save that power up! However she’d hold off on the blade if she could. After-all? For all she knew Leila might give her a sword again, which would be kind of neat because her dark sword was more powerful than frey’s earth sword. The child didn’t care which way it went, but on the chance the older mage might provide her with a weapon again, she didn’t want to rush to summon her own, especially since she was trying to conserve her power in order to achieve a greater power to use, become more useful down here. Little did she know the price force actually contained in the fine print. It might be more harmful than helpful! “Good job!” she returned the V once more, swiftly, swimming over to the powerful female, silver wading along behind her, having a bit more difficulty moving due to his large size and mass compared to the two girls. “You alright Leila? Look a bit worried?” she inquired it once she actually looked at the other girls face after her mentioning saving up magic power. “Wait do you know what will happen if I save up power? Hemlock just told me something will happen, but he didn’t give me any details.” the older mage was wiser, she might have seen whatever was going to happen, it was not unreasonable to think she’d run into one of the other dragon slayer’s, despite five of them being fellow fairy tail mages.

It was a while later, that the slayer became hungry again and took out the rock she’d found earlier. “This one looks really tasty.” however it was not something she should eat, it was actually one of the map pieces that they were looking for, and the child was about to eat it. Apparently? The black lines across the blue rock did not matter to Frey, she just saw any stone object as food she could consume for magical power and happiness.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 21st October 2016, 12:51 pm

It has been a while since Leila last interacted with other people. Or rather, when she last had an ally. Sure, she fought besides Frey not that long ago, but that was different because the girl was standing right in front of her right now. She did not see Jiyu in a while, was basically what that translated to, since she knew very few people despite how much she already went through. The only ones that she was meeting regularly, Jiyu nad Hero from her guild. Only those two were close enough to her that she could safely say that she could always rely on them, no matter what. And even though it's been so long already... it was still so painful. The moment Frey said she would never love a boy romantically reminded her of herself and her situation. Her past mistake that left seemingly permanent hole inside of her fragile heart. Remembering all of that so suddenly, it felt almost as if someone had stabbed her with a sharp knife in the chest. She was completely paralyzed by her own fear and insecurity, her eyes widened and staring into the emptiness, every single one of Frey's words going by unheard by the Eden's mage. It was unfortunate that she managed to find that weakness so quickly. And as the young girl tried to hug the silver haired woman, she finally woke up from her agonizing state. And her response... well, it matched her feelings right now. While the green haired child really wanted to hug Leila, she did her best to actually avoid it. Before Frey could embrace her, she simply swam away in panicked motion, not saying a single world. Only once few more seconds passed, she managed to calm down and start thinking like a normal human being again.

"You're saying that now, but you'll find soon enough that not everyone is the same. There are some boys that are much, much better than girls and some girls that are worse than any boys you have ever met. I can easily guarantee you that. So you should not be deciding something like that just yet, because you will see. Might end up with one anyway, once you realize how things really are in the world."

She did her best to offer a smile to go alongside with her speech, but it didn't quite work. It was more like something broken, never fully fixed, only hastily put back together to create a facade. She had to change the topic fast, lest Frey would start asking questions that she should not. Leila already felt the darkness inside of her spreading, it would be not very good if it took control here on this job. She couldn't allow that, no matter what.

"No, just... you dragon slayers hold much power. So when something does happen, please make sure you don't destroy what we're looking for..."

It would not be great if this whole trip was for nothing, really. Which made it all the more worrisome and surprising when Frey produced the first piece of the map from her clothes and tried to bite into it. Of course that was a big no-no and Leila snatched the piece from her hands before she could do so, inspecting it. And before she could explain herself, two colorful fish-things flew right between them. And to accompany them, three more crab-thingies appeared as well. They were probably drawn to this place by Leila's attack from before.

    "You take the smaller ones!"

Not bothering with anything, Leila gave her partner straight up order and turned around to face her half of the enemies. All of her orbs left again, but this time they didn't hit the enemy right away. They actually crashed into the sandy ground, getting below it and then turning into jet black needless that pierced the enemy from below. And to finish them off, the Eden's mage swam close and placed a seal on the one that was in middle. Getting back to save distance, she made the seal explode into a underwater tornado of sharp branches that easily finished off the enemies.

“Oh those are what we’re looking for?!” the female was stunned by this fact, looking disheartened as Leila took away her rock, even though she soon replaced it with a piece of seaweed from her pocket. Apparently? She couldn’t eat any stone’s on this job for fear of consuming what they were sent here to bring back unharmed! It really sucked to brutally honest, she would love to try some deep sea rock’s, maybe they would taste different from normal rocks. However she would behave, because she had her knight, and that was enough to the little girl who was not so little anymore and likely would not be little whatsoever soon.

Being ordered around was something normally only done when it was a queen speaking to the princess, Leila was no queen, so she earned a sharp glare from the little princess. If the time had been given? Frey would have scolded her foolish knight, but the enemies were fast closing in on them, and the little girl did not want torn to shreds. However she was not wise to the ways of these little flies and thus was suckered into coming closer to one of them, it biting into her arm and releasing her blood into the water “LET GO!” she lifted one foot, and kicked the beast squarely in it’s stomach area as Silver fought with the second of the small fry. Finding it refusing to let go of her? Frey chose it might be time to trigger a spell “I really need to get my hand’s on a weapon!” she seethed it out, as she finally let one of her spells take place “Earth Dragon’s Sword!” She pulled it from the sandy bottom before swimming from the grab’s range with the water fly still on her arm. “Now than, it’s time to make sushi.” she slashed at it, careful to avoid her own arm, hitting it multiple times, until eventually the beast fell bleeding itself, their blood mingling in the water. “I am not your food.” the little girl sounded victorious, but this did not change the fact she was bleeding. “Gotta close this.” her wolf had finished with his and swam over with a few pieces of seaweed in his mouth, offering them to her. Once frey started eating the plant this time? Her arm started visibly healing over. “I really love my body sometimes.” she flexed her fingers on the hand that had been seconds ago torn apart, shaking the remaining blood off revealing perfectly healed skin.

“Hey Silver, check out the corpse for me.” she saw something blue in color settled in the corpse, and her wolf swam back up with it, dropping another map piece into her hand. “Damn fish, it can eat the map but I can’t?!” the little girl laughed it out, glancing back to see how her knight was doing, a piece of stone in one hand, piece of seaweed hanging from her mouth and than she had her simple earth sword in her other hand. “Good Job Knight~” the kid giggled slightly, swimming towards Leila once more, silver struggling behind her like normal, watching as she held out the map piece to the older woman, as if offering it to her. “You should take this, pretty sure I’ll just eat it.” the statement was true, because somehow she had already gotten another piece of seaweed, it seemed the little girl never stopped eating the earth, no matter what she did, she always seemed to be eating something of her element. The last thing she wanted was to upset Leila by eating the map.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 22nd October 2016, 2:14 pm

As she did her best to quickly make sure their enemies would know just how strong the Eden’s goddess was, she also occasionally took a quick look towards the other side of the underwater path, seeing how Frey was doing. It certainly was nothing too impressive, but the girl managed. Perhaps it was also just because of the fact that Leila was used to working besides professionals by now. And Frey certainly wasn’t one of those, which was why her fighting still lacked a great deal. But it was fine, she had plenty of time to still learn and flesh out her fighting style. After all, she did no longer even need Leila’s sword, since she got her own! So that was something she could be probably proud of, right? In any case, the girl finished reasonable quickly and made her way over to her older partner. Somehow, she already managed to find another piece of the map. Some of the sea creatures probably found the pieces and carried them away from the ruins that were supposed to be around here somewhere, trying to play with the stone or something. But this was probably for the best anyway, as it meant that they would not have to be exploring the whole city that was somewhere ahead. With something like that, they would lose a whole lot of time, not good. The map had to be recovered as soon as possible to minimize the chance of someone damaging it. Or eating it in this case…

“Good job. Only one more to go then. Um… are you sure those seaweeds are that tasty? You might hurt your stomach if you eat too much of the same thing, you know?”

Those words had probably no meaning when directed at a dragon slayer. But she said them anyway, just to make sure. For now, they had to keep going. With little in the way of conversation, as Leila was still a bit shaken from before, they simply swam following the underwater path. And as the shadow of ruins slowly started coming into view, Leila too saw something in among the smooth stones and sand. It was another piece of the stone map, the final one! But as soon as she picked it up, the atmosphere quickly changed. It was… way darker all of a sudden. And even the glow of all the plants and foliage that was growing around them dimmed slightly, letting the shadows consume nearly everything. And another, much bigger shadow started approaching, circling it’s new prey. Leila quickly noticed the thing swimming all around them, not even recognizing it’s shape. It was… something much more dangerous than anything before. Not something that they should be playing around with, that was for sure. Even for someone as strong as Leila, this thing was just giving off really bad vibes. So bad that the hair on her back started standing up, goose bumps appearing everywhere on the non-corrupted parts of her body.

“Damn… what the hell is it now? It targeted us as soon as I got the map, does that mean it’s trying to guard it?”

If that was true, then it really was something completely out of the ordinary. A guardian that was meant to repel any and all intruders, trying to steal the map from whatever civilisation was here before the city’s destruction. Not exactly much time to be thinking about that with something like this trying to eat you though.

Normally? You’d consider someone who held the power of a dragon to be automatically impressive. However this was not alway the case, most people heard of Slayers and considered them in their final state something nearing a dragon itself, yet they all started human or some other species. Frey was no different, even with her earth body, she was going to have a hard time, especially with her desire to power herself up preventing her from casting spells like she could. In spite of this, there was nothing major to worry about, since she was not being mobbed it was best for the older mage to stand back and let the child figure it out, which seemed to be what she had done. Rune would be upset if she found out the knight had not been impressed with the little princess thought, but young royalty was not exactly known for it’s fighting skill. Yet, Leila had seen before that the child had potential, due to the way she had beaten someone in their last mission together! It seemed to depend what weapon she wielded, what she was willing to do. Frey’s earth sword was too heavy for the normal way she would mess with her swordsmanship, rendered her unable to slash the way she normally would, the way she had with the sword Leila once provided. She was no professional but one day she would be a force, maybe not the best, but she would certainly not be the weakest of slayers or something.

The child was really wondering how the map pieces had gotten out of the ruined city ahead of them, despite her own thieving habit. Honestly? It was hilarious that she wondered how the fish had gotten the map piece, especially when everyone’s shiny stuff was always going missing due to her. It was another reason she liked working with Leila, the girl never had anything directly shiny in her line of vision, thus did not awaken her urge to snatch shiny objects and keep them as her own. “Their tasty for me.” it wasn’t anything awkward for the girl since she had been eating grass, leaves, flowers, dirt, rocks and anything else nature that was not an animal, that she could reasonably bite through. “Probably will eventually, but it hasn’t happened yet.” the princess shrugged but chose to pick up some sand from the ocean floor and start eating that instead. So now the little girl was eating sand, which may not really be an improvement.

“Yippie we got the whole thing!”
the little girl pushed up a number one symbol in the air, laughing happily as she hi-fived her wolf, something she just figured out they could do underwater. Soon everything changed and became darker, and she was no longer so happy, holding her sword cross ways in front of her own body, biting her lip slightly in the floating water. “I don’t like this.” the female shook her head at silver, letting him know she was intending to start using her destructive slayer magic. “Leila let me do this first, so you don’t get caught in my two range attacks” she knew her knight was strong, but the princess would prefer not to get her caught up in it, so she swam in front of the other mage, lifting her hands. “Roar Of The Earth Dragon.” she shouted it, and let out the powerful attack, and from the destructive it did to the environment, it was clear why she had not wanted Leila in front of it. Next she swam a little further out “Earth Dragon Dance.” leaves appeared and slashed at the beast, finally the little girl knew she didn’t have much else to do, and that this was taking all she had, not magic power wise, but actual spell wise. Leila would see her slash the sword once, drop it for a second and then grab it in her mouth before dragon claws made of wood erupted from her hands, being used to slice at the beast, along with a second swipe of her sword, before she used her wings to swiftly get back behind Leila, pushing the water with them causing herself to fall back. In the end she was on the ocean floor, but it worked how she wanted. Smiling she gave a thumb’s up, panting slightly as she sat up with her claws. “These thing’s are hard to move, so I’ll just sneak in where i can.” she grunted showing her body was still too small for some of her weapons.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Noheme 22nd October 2016, 3:32 pm

It really wasn’t that Frey was weak or anything. She just had… a lot of room for improvements. Leila knew just how devastating her magic could be, so it was perhaps good that she wasn’t all too strong yet. She was on her way there, but it was a long journey filled with hardships. But that was why she had her dragon that acted as her actual tutor, nothing could match that! In fact, the silver haired girl was a little bit envious. She never had a teacher or tutor, someone that would show her how things are done. Someone that would be her friend, or perhaps even family. Someone that she could absolutely trust… the first person who filled that place was Jiyu. And that was… perhaps much too late. This girl had to learn everything on her own, just how harsh the world was for wizards. Just remembering it made her feel a bit uncomfortable, but she still had it pretty good. After all, she was ready for harshness all the time because of the way she lived prior to this life of hers. So she had at least some preparations… others were not so lucky and didn’t even have that. There were many like that… Zoey for example. For some reason, that girl filled Leila’s mind for but a moment before she started focusing on the reality again. The terror was still circling them before it decided to get closer. It was also then that Frey decided to start using her magic properly again. Just as she said, Leila made sure she would swim out of the way of her spells. Even though she could probably easily defend against them, there was no need to be standing in the way. Getting close to the sea’s floor, she watched as the attacks unfolded and smashed into the giant fish or whatever it actually was. And it did some damage, way more than she had seen Frey ever do before. So that was pretty good. But it was not nearly enough to discourage the thing. The little green-haired girl decided to put in few more melee strikes before the terror created some more distance between them. And as the girls were reunited, Leila decided that it was her turn to shine. Swimming back up, she started looking around, trying to spot the enemy. But… it was seemingly nowhere to be found. At least until a giant claw emerged from the blackness of the deep oceans, nearly cutting the girl in half. Thankfully she managed to react in time and was able to form a shield out of half of her orbs. But the damn thing hit her like a truck, smashing a good half of her defense. But since it was so close now, it was her chance! Placing her hand onto the body of the creature, she remade her whole arm into one giant tree branch that damaged the thing and pushed it into the sea floor, making the sand rise up again. Put it was not enough, she wanted to finish this thing off for good now. Taking a golden key out of her pocket she started the quick summoning process.

“Gate of the heavenly scales, I open thee… Libra!”

The exotic looking girl appeared and didn’t even need any commands. She already new the drill, their special combo that was able to finish off almost any opponent so far. The gravity shifted and Frey probably had to take hold of some of those seaweeds if she didn’t want to get sucked it. Sand and rocks started quickly gathering around the creature's body, forming a big ball that was only growing in size, trying to squeeze it as much as possible. Because of all the materials that were around, it certainly didn’t look as impressive as when she did it the last time… but it was still something. And since the creature was technically still on the ground, she could not use her regular attacks either to finish all of this for good. So instead, she just gather all of her balls and formed them into one. And that one formed into something like a spear to follow. Spear that quickly sped up and flew through the newly formed piece of terrain, piercing it without any problems and hitting the creature along the way with full force. It certainly wasn’t happy about that. At it actually seemed like it took some rather heavy damage. Nearly falling apart, the creature flailed and decided to swim away, as far as it possibly could from this destructive and violent goddess. Two rusted objects fell from it’s body as well. Leila took one of them, but it was too damaged to actually see what it was. But in the city, she could probably get it repaired pretty easily, seeing whatever it was then. The darkness started fading too, leaving the two girls back on the glowing path.

“Alright, I think we are done here. Suppose we can head back now.”

Frey was free to take the other object. Perhaps she could get someone to reforge it into a sword for her or something. Since it fell from a creature like that, it was probably equipment from some other unfortunate explorers of the past anyway. It was no use to them now, and there was really no point in leaving all this behind either. And the main thing was that Leila now had the complete map as well. Even when putting all the pieces together, she actually had no idea how to read the thing at all. There was no use denying it, she needed the researchers to take a look at it for themselves, perhaps they could do something with it. She was eager to go on more adventures like this one, so she wanted to get back as soon as possible. But she was still in her nice mode, so she made sure to wait for her partner as well as her wolf. While he wasn’t as useful as he probably would have been on the dry land, it was still important that the girl had her friend here. It probably helped a lot. Leila knew that she always felt a bit more calm when Yuki was around. But at this very moment, she was probably just reading one of her books back in the Gardens of Eden. No point in her going on these jobs, since she would just freeze the water around her and immobilize herself with the aura she was constantly emitting. Quite unfortunate, but there was nothing they could do about it. So for now, she just wanted to slowly get back to the gate with Frey.

Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey Empty Re: Underwater Upheaval Job Leila And Frey

Post by Pandora 22nd October 2016, 4:17 pm

    6327 words.

Hemlock was a good mentor for her, the dragon really was no matter how much she scolded him. In spite of the hardship she had contained slightly in her short time? Rune was relatively sheltered in most opinions, protected by those older and stronger than she was. Frey was still rather impressed with leila’s strength, watching contently, and even deciding to undo her long claws within a few moments. Clearly? She would not be fighting anymore this fight. “I’ll be taking this than, Hemlock or someone could help me make it into a lighter weight sword.” one that she did not have to struggle to wield, a lighter one, a blade she would not have to expend magical energy making, an enchanted sword she could deal magic damage with, yet conserve her own power. Frey liked the idea of that, so she actually took a few thing’s, not all of them from the creature, some of them were just pieces of the rubble that survived their attacks and such, strengthening agents for a smith.

It was time for her to go home now, even if it was very sad to have to leave her knight behind again? Every little princess had to return to their kingdom at the end of the day once they were done playing with their forest friends. The little girl turned around and waved with a small giggle, grabbing on Silver’s scruff “We have to get going now.” the sun was almost down entirely over the horizon “My mom will start to worry if I stay gone for too long.” the little girl made her comment with a sad little smile, nodding to Silver allowing him to know she was alright with him making his move, swinging her body to sit on his back, folding her large wing’s back in with a little smile. The wolf would run at his top speed away from the location, but at the same time he would also teleport by fifteen meter’s whenever he was able to do so, so they could get back to the gate that led to their home, quickly as possible. Honestly the wolf thought Frey could use a good rest after today, and he wasn’t too far off, this mission was above what someone her rank normally would do, she’d never have done it if not for the fact she got to see Leila. Thus the child let herself become weary and sleepy on his back, clutching her new weapon to her chest. Rune would see what the blade once it was forged properly, did at a later date.
