“Hey Hemlock?” the little girl was sitting at his left hind leg, leaning against it, her own right flank being covered by silver, putting her in a comfy warm position. Frey looked up at her dragon mentor was she spoke to him, a tree branch with nice juicy young leaves held in her hand, her lunch after a long training session with him. “Yes Frey?” his deep voice echoed through her, bringing the comfort he helped provide even while she adjusted to her new body, causing a smile to spread across her almost skin tone lips. “Have you found out anything about where Leila is for me?” she had asked him after returning for her first training session after meeting the girl, a simple request to keep his ears out for any word he could find of the more powerful mage. Now? The little girl was beginning to want to see Leila again, so she was asking if he had found anything in the time she had taken adjusting to her new, older body. “You must promise me to be careful this time child.” she sat up on her knees, placing her small hands on his leg with a playful shove. “Of course I’ll be careful! So where is she?!” the little girl wanted to play with her knight in shining armor again, and she also wanted to play with the sword the teenager could produce with those floating black orbs born of whatever magic she used. “Apparently she’s heading to a location where she will travel to the cloud sea from, it’s a mission she was asked on.” he did not mention why he was so afraid of her going after the other girl on this. Hemlock was concerned due to Frey’s body actually being made from the earth, he was concerned what prolonged submersion in water would do to her, wondering if being wet for too long could kill the little girl even though she did take baths and swim, those were different from an underwater mission.
A few hours later, the little girl had arrived at the research station that Leila was suppose to be heading towards, dismounting Silver carefully, since he was too big to fit in the small building. Frey knocked on the metal door, hearing it echo and wondering if she could eat through it, guessing she might not be able to due to how refined it looked. “What? A Little Girl, Are You Lost Child.” the main researcher opened the door at the knocking and was shocked by the sight of a ten year old in a long sleeved dress. “No but you are going to do something for me.” he quirked his eye at her, watching her as she invited herself into the building, smiling happily as she looked around, looking for something shiny she could make her own. “The wizard you contacted for a mission, Leila, you're going to add me onto that mission. Or I will start wrecking your station, and so will my wolf.” he would have clearly took a little girl's words as a joke, but she was a mage and he could feel that, so the man did not try to object her wish, which was good, because she wasn’t joking. Anyone who did not have the sense to worship or at least bend to the will of a princess like herself? Didn’t even deserve to be alive. Frey took her head of the last thought, smiling at his agreement. “So I’ll just wait here until she gets here.” the little girl pulled out a chair, placing her hemlock plushie on the table in front of her, grabbing some pencils and beginning to scribble drawings on paper that might be important, not caring for their worth.
