For once in all there time with the Rune Knights the had just received there first assigned jobs. a crappy job but none the less a job. Tōwa and Naomi currently road the train into clover town, Naomi had her face pressed against the glass the whole time watching all the site go by. they were to settle a problem between to individuals. sighing Tōwa stretched a little having been on the train for quite some time, but she could feel the train slowing down. That meant she could get this job done and get home she had been on the road far to long.
After a Jarring stop and some complaining from Naomi they finally got off the train they headed right to the merchant district. She wanted this over as fast as she could manage. the first stop the butcher, who according to report had started selling fish she stepped into the shop, on that smelled like uncooked meat and stepped up the to counter. a gruff, well muscled man greeted them.
"How are you doing. Ma'am." he asks smiling slightly.
"We are the Rune Knight that where sent." Naomi speaks up. the mans smile disappears quickly.
"Bought time i want him arrested he keeps under selling my meat. it hurting my business." he slams his knife down and walks around the counter. "I have done nothing but expand my range of meats and he accused me of stealing his customers, Not that he has any."
"We don't want any trouble this can be settled peaceably." Naomi says. "follow me." she leads him to a cafe up the street, as Tōwa had the the fishmongers.
As Tōwa enters she wrinkles her nose, uncooked fish smelled... well fishy. she approached the counter and is greeted by a tall lanky man.
"greeting Ma'am what can i get you today." he asks.
"Im the Rune Knight that was sent if you would please be kind enough to follow me." the man nod silently and moves from around the counter, another worker taking his place. Tōwa leads him to the cafe where Naomi and the butcher are waiting.
the Fishmonger stop. "what is this..."
"Please sit down." Naomi looks up from a cup of juice. the man does as asked, the two glaring at each other. "we understand that there is a problem but im sure if you work together you would make a tidy profit." the two look at Naomi blinking. "well think about it you both have skills that the other can use why not work together."
they look at each other. "i suppose we could but what will that accomplish." the butcher asks.
"im sure you both specialize in something." both men nod."and what if a person can go to one place to get both? you don't have to work for customers." the men frown "and why can i got to a place to get both fish and beef... because they call themselves rival markets. but see if you two combine you get the best of both world. i would even say hire a cook to make jerky or something." it clear that Naomi is kinda rambling now.
"That would be betraying the business." the fishmonger and butcher say together, looking at each as they finish.
"well im sure some restaurants that need both would like to buy from one source not two." Naomi says. the to grumble a little. "And you dont have to deal with the competition anymore. the only way you can both win is by working together." she smiles slightly and take a sip of her juice. "you could even start a restaurant of you own. how would that be to see you names on a 5 star restaurant sign." both men nod again. "you guys could storm the market, make lots of jewels and not have to worry about getting in each others way."
The two men sit and brew, thinking about if it a good idea and how it would work in the long run. Naomi drinks her juice nosily, causing the two men to throw her a look every now and then. the begin talking about names and other things and what they would serve. they then order something to drink and borrow a pen and some paper, writing down some ideas. after about a hour the two of them reach a decision. they stand up the leave when Naomi ask them to sit again.
"Please understand that this will benefit both of you in more than one way. Money wise and image wise. what better than to feuding company's putting aside their differences and working to a common goal." Naomi digs around in her pockets and pulls a bag of sweet that she hands to Tōwa. "anyways i like the idea you came up with but i wont be able to come back anytime soon." Naomi narrows her eyes as she says this. "so do your best until i can."
The men clearly understand the entire undertone of Naomi little speech.

"Im willing if your willing." the fishmonger says.
"ok lets give it a try." the butchers says.
"great i have a fantastic name." Naomi speak up excitedly, both men look at her. "the Twin knives." she seems really proud of herself. both men shake there heads and walk down the street talking about what each other will bring to the table.
"well that was easier than i though." Naomi says, as Tōwa unwraps on of the sweets. "i was ready for like a war or something." she chuckles, Tōwa nods. "can we go home now...." Naomi ask planting her face on the table. "this stuff is getting boring." Tōwa nods and stand, followed by Naomi. the two them move back toward the train station and home. Something they have no been to for quite some time now. "i need a shower." Naomi says sniffing herself, then sniffs Tōwa. "EWWW so do you." only to get bop on the head again. Smiling the two of them board the train home.
