Description: Binding Magic is exactly what it sounds like, it's magic used to bind and subdue. There comes a time when killing isn't always the answer, so that's when this comes in handy. Each spell has an incantation that comes with it and must be recited to execute it if the spell is equal or higher than the users rank. But at higher rank one can be exempt from this. When reciting the incantation of a spell that is a lower rank than them it is boosted in power.
Strengths:

This Magic passively compliments the Lineage
Each spell comes with an incantation that must be recited if the user is equal to or lower than the rank of the spell they are using. If the incantation is not said when required, the spell fails and MP is still subtracted. If using a spell that ranks lower than the user, the incantation is not needed. The methods above keep spells at base power.
Now when one ranks higher than a spell and recites its incantation it boost its power to a rank in between the user's and the spell's, favoring the lower rank. So if an SS-Rank mage used a D-Rank Spell after reciting the incantation the spells rank would come out as B-Rank, due to the lower rank being favored when an odd number of ranks exist in between. - Malefic Illusion:
Malefic Illusions:
Description: There was once an ancient madman, said to have strong powers of illusion. Rumor has it he made a deal with the devil to give him eyes to allow him to harm people. Anyone who looked into his eyes would be trapped in his own twisted and malefic world, were they would be tortured by the most bizarre of creations. However, he used his eyes too much and ended up going blind the rest of his life. These eyes were said to be passed down to his numerous descendants, albeit many know nothing of such happenings in their ancestry.
Ability: User can trap foes in a murderous and twisted world to mentally cause damage to them.
Usage: The user locks eyes with his foe to trap them in a malefic world to be tortured by their malefic creations. The eyes last for 3 posts and can be used once in a thread. In order for the torture to be sustained, direct eye contact must be kept at all times. The victim receives a third of the user's rank damage per post.
- Equal rank then the duration of the eyes are lowered to two post and the victim receives a half of the user's rank damage per post.(Given Eye contact is sustained.)
- Lower Rank, then the duration of the eyes are lowered to one post and the victim receives all of the user's rank damage in that post.

Description: A simple binding spell where up to five radiant golden chains begin to expel from the users body. At least four chains must latch on for a successful binding, but smaller amounts of chains grabbing targets can be used to hinder partial movement, allowing other chains to catch up and latch on. They move at 30mph and can reach out to 25m. If they capture a foe, they turn to a form that resembles normal chains and all excessive chain disintegrates/ The chain used to bind remains as real matter, past the duration.
Incantation: "Holy chains of radiant light, free thy-selves and subdue my foes."
Strengths: *Number of chains *Chains can become permanent bindings after duration.
Weaknesses: *Incantation *If two chains can be destroyed, one can't be fully bound. *Third Party can undo the chains.

Name: Yield
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Offensive
Description: The user will hold their hand in a way that mimics a pistol and a basketball sized ball of energy will be shot at the target. Upon hitting them it can either lie dormant in their body or it can immediately activate. Splashing on the target the energy will spread out surrounding the foe before turning into blades that stab into the targets body. This does no real piercing damage, but feels like it does and of course binds the foe. Ball moves at 40mph and can be manipulated anywhere within 30m of the user, with hand movements.
When activated from a dormant status the blades jut out from the inside of the body, still causing no visual damage.
Incantation: "May the blades of vengeance find their foe and bind them, so they may face the consequences for their actions."
Strengths: *Can lie dormant to be activated later
Weaknesses: *Ball can be dodged *Incantation *Third Party can destroy blades *Even while dormant the timer for the duration is ticking.
