Indescribable feelings

Lina fallowed the letter she had received to the front of the ship like it had instructed, she had no idea who wanted to meet her at the front of the ship at sunset. at the bottom of the letter was a little heart below the anonymous signature. her face flushed red, feeling like butterflies were flying around in her stomach, who could it be? she went though her mind of all the guys in the guild, she didn't ever remember anyone showing interest in her... maybe that wasn't the reason whoever wanted to meet her here wanted to, maybe it was talking over a job...or...something... she sighed and turned to face the sunset, the warm twilight breeze blowing her long white hair to her right, as she tapped her fingers anxiously on the railing.

"its a beautiful sunset isn't it?" Erics voice said as he walked out from the side darkness over to her with a kind smile on his face looking over the railing at the setting sun as the twilight breeze ran over the two of them. he soon blushed as he stopped infront of Lina, this girl that gave him a big smile and warm welcome to Nox Animus, she also surprised him by showing that at night her curse would take over and she would transform into a fox for some reason. there was something about her...something...interesting about her that he couldn't put his finger on about her but her actions around him gave a somewhat similar reaction "im glad you could make it lina..." he finally greeted

Lina whipped around at the sound of Eric's voice, she looked up at him. "E-Eric!" she said quietly, looking over at the sunset. feeling her cheeks flush red and her butterflies begin to flutter faster. she held her hands close to her chest again almost under her chin, fiddling with her hands and swaying back and forth slightly. "M-me too..its good to s-see you" she tried to stop herself from stuttering but just ended up stuttering even more than usual.

Eric looked away blushing more as he watched her twiddle with her hands and swaying "um...well...I've wanted to say something...you seem to always act really strange around me...is something wrong with me?...if you have something to say..please say it..." he said blushing more now, this was getting very hard to do, he wasn't sure how to say what he was trying to say to her

lina looked up suddenly, "oh no no no nothings wrong with you! i-its my fault...sorry this is kind of a habit of mine..." she looked down with strawberry cheeks. her hands were still close to her chest and she was still swaying, but her hands weren't moving anymore.

Finally eric moved up to her slowly looking away a bit before looking back at her and giving her a kind smile "if somethings on your mind please tell me...don't worry just take a deep breath" he comforted placing a hand on he shoulder "just breathe then tell me.." he told her kindly "I know somethings on your mind"

Lina's face got darker red as a hand was placed on her shoulder. she almost squealed inside her head, not knowing how to react to this but trying to stay calm on the outside, feeling a trillion butterflies fly up her throat. "I...I-its hard to explain..." she looked down, her face practically a strawberry.

Eric couldn't help but scratch his cheek as he looked down at the ground once more before looking her back in the eyes again "th..then I guess...I may as well say it..." he whispered to himself "l...lina...I..i really like you..." he finally said blushing bright red and looking away in emberassment.

Lina looked up, she felt a sensation of relief, she just couldn't get herself to say it. she looked down and smiled, her cheeks still red. "I-i like you too." she smiled at the ground, then looking up at him, their eyes meeting.

Eric finally let out a sigh of relief hearing her say those words then with a smile yet his cheeks still red "you have no idea how nervous I was to say that to you.." he explained scratching his head still embaressed

Lina sighed as well, "Me too," she smiled softly, twirling a strand of her white hair. looking over at the sun halfway past the horizon, turning the clouds shades of pink and magenta. "really is beautiful, isn't it?" she said in a soft tone with her small smile still on her face.

Looking over at the horizon at the setting sun he smiled and nodded "not only is the setting sun beautiful, but when the full moon is out its also pretty and beautiful" he said watching the sun extending his left hand to her giving her another one of his gentle smiles

Lina blushed at his comment, she gently took his left hand in her right hesitantly, then leaned her head on his shoulder. She had to admit, he was really warm and comforting to the touch. she sighed as the sun disappeared over the horizon. seeing the stars begin to come out from hiding.

looking up at the sky as the stars slowly began to emerge showing themselves to the duo Eric smiled as he felt her hold his hand and rest her head on his shoulder letting his other hand slowly brush her hair lightly "I like your hair..." he complimented

Lina laughed softly, "thank you, i really like your jacket as well" she smiled as she could feel the moon start to rise.

Eric chuckled softly as he watched the moon begin to rise then looking down at her "you aren't changing? I thought you changed when it became night time.." he noted looking confused now

Lina smiled, "i learned to control it recently, i can change my form on my own free will now." she said, suddenly shrinking into her tiny silver fox form, hopping on the railing, then hopping onto his shoulder. then his head. sitting on top triumphantly.

"that's great, im glad you finally were able to control it" he said to her happily with a smile before watching her shrink into her fox form then jump to the railing, then his shoulder, then finally landing on his head feeling her sit on his head

"thanks"she squeaked, kneading his paws through his hair, looking down at his face as she jumped off his head onto the railing then to the floor, turning back into herself.
