Why Hello There!

Hi there! I'm Sp8ke, a new person to this kind of stuff. I've done role playing in the past, but never in a place like this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

On a side note, I'm planning on making a celestial wizard based on Lovecraftian mythos. Right now, my ideas include a beholder, (A giant floating eye with tentacles) and my ultimate trump card, Cthulhu! So any suggestions for that would be great too! (Especially names. I can never come up with good names for these things... :| )
