Description: The White Dragon Slayer is a human, taught by dragons, to use magic that kills dragons. That's all well and good; the human gets increased attributes, as well as access to powerful magic. But that raises the question: If a dragon can teach a human magic, why can't a God? This is where God Slaying Magic was born: Magic passed down from the Gods to mortals, specialized for killing Gods due to the darkness that is bonded with the chosen element.
The God of Light, in particular, has a vested interest in this type of Magic. The God of Light is the God of Judgement and Balance; it is upon His shoulders to declare justice against all beings, even other Gods. In order to do so without starting a war, however, He uses a mortal vessel to carry out his judgement for him. Thus, the Book of Light was cast down to the mortal realm, in order to find a suitable host.
Enter Alexei Sarona. A young mage defined in part by his determination and willpower, the Book saw him and deemed him suitable to carry the burden of the Light God's duty. It found it's way to him, urging him to open the book and be blessed with the power within. He did so, and the modern Light God Slayer was born. The immense power of the God of Light is at Alexei's beck and call, on the condition that he always enforces his own ideals of justice: Complete and total freedom for everybody.
Strengths:
-Light magic mixed with the power of darkness allows Alexei the use of magic that cannot be eaten by other Slayers
-Light God Slayer Magic has a 25% damage bonus against users of Darkness, due to it's inherent Light power.
-Alexei can eat light, in a matter similar to photosynthesis, and convert it into magic power.
-As God Slayer Magic, Light God Slayer Magic has a 50% bonus against angelic beings, Gods, and non-human users of light magic.
Weaknesses:
-Light God Slaying Magic, is terrible for stealth, since all of it's spells give off large amounts of light.
-Light God Magic is very fickle; if the user is not acting in a way that befits their beliefs and ideals, it's power may fade or even vanish entirely until the user begins to follow their ideals again.
-Light God Magic takes 25% extra damage from Darkness, due to Darkness' inherent strength against light.
-Light God Slaying Magic is an extension of the Light God's will, so it has a mind of it's own. A weak-willed person, or even a strong-willed person who has a moment of weakness, can find themselves overtaken by the magic and made to enforce the Light God's form of justice until they fight back.
-Due to the increased speed and incredibly bright bursts that Light God Slayer Magic can make, it is a very disorienting magic; an inexperienced user can find themselves caught off guard by the magic, disorienting themselves.
Abilities/Powers:
-Enhanced Attributes. As light is a particularly fast element, physical speed and thought processes are particularly boosted. (20% boost to speed and intelligence per rank)
-Soul-Pierced Gaze. The power of the God of Judgement allows one to 'judge' others; based on the will of the target, Alexei can see their current emotions and where they stand on the Light God's scale of good and evil. At higher ranks, Alexei can also see his target's greatest pride and greatest regret.
-God Force. Activated after eating an enormous amount of magic or when near death, God Force engulfs Alexei in an aura of black light, causing all of his attacks to do 150% damage. Spells also cost no mana to cast, and his passive attribute enhancements are incredibly increased. God Force lasts for 7 posts, after which Alexei will be left at 5% mana.
NOTE: Since many of Alexei's abilities revolve around increasing his speed by percentages, a base amount is needed to compare him to others. His base speed is roughly 7 meters per second running on a flat surface, which is slightly above the average human running speed.

- Hand of Judgement:
- Name: Hand of Judgement
Rank: D
Type: Offensive, Light, Darkness
Description: After focusing his energy in his hand, Alexei's fist becomes a focus of Light God Slayer energy. After being focused, he can either project said energy into the air as a beam, or keep it focused in his hand for a powerful punch.
Strengths:
-Has both a ranged and a melee use, so it is adaptable.
-Like most Light Spells, it travels faster than a usual projectile of it's rank; it goes anywhere from 30-35 MPH, with a 15 meter range.
-Alexei can concentrate any amount of power he desires into the fist focus; at maximum charge, he can deal upwards of 150% normal melee damage as well as his normal spell damage, at the cost of a higher cooldown.
Weaknesses:
-Like all Light God Slayer spells, Hand of Judgement trades power for speed. (90% base spell damage)
-The projectile beam loses power as it extends; if hit by the very tip of the beam, one only takes 75% normal damage from it.
-The light energy is easily dispersed by darkness spells of a higher rank.
-Reflective surfaces can reflect this back on Alexei, damaging him due to the darkness in his magic.
-Cooldown is 2 posts, 3 if charged fully. Standard Mana cost.
- Eyes of God:
- Name: Eyes of God
Rank: D
Type: Restrictive, Light, Darkness
Description: Those who inherit the powers of the Light God tend to develop intense, determined stares. When magic is thrown into the mix, the look easily becomes one that can cow most foes. Alexei can activate Eyes of God to become able to paralyze those he makes eye contact with; in return, however, his mana is drained each post while it is active.
Strengths:
-After the spell is placed, the target remains restrained even after contact is broken, allowing Alexei to easily take down a weaker foe, or restrain one while fighting multiple opponents.
-The eye transformation itself has no set duration; even when Alexei cuts it off, the paralysis remains active.
-Alexei can restrain multiple people at once with this move, although it loses 10% effectiveness for every foe beyond the first restrained that way.
-In return for a consistent mana drain each post, the spell has no cooldown. It can be flickered on and off as much as Alexei desires as long as he has the mana.
Weaknesses:
-One has to be in range to make legitimate eye contact with Alexei, within ten meters; as such, this move tends to be useless in long-range battles.
-If one knows not to make eye contact with Alexei, this move is essentially useless.
-The effect is dramatically decreased on people who are a higher rank than him; it can be used to create a split-second opening or such, but it is not useful otherwise.
-An injury usually creates enough shock for the target to break free of the paralysis.
-In return for having no cooldown, the ability drains mana for each post it is active. Also, no matter how long it is active, the spell always drains a minimum of one post's worth of mana.
-Duration for the paralysis is 2 posts (reduced if multiple people are targeted, or if the target is higher-rank, or extended if they look into the eyes for an extended period of time); consumes 4% mana every post it is active, and as stated earlier, Alexei can cut off the eye effect at any time.
- Blacklight Barrage:
- Name: Blacklight Barrage
Rank: D
Type: Light, Darkness, Self-buff
Description: The Light God Slayer can engross himself in an aura of his own energy, powering up parts of his body by doing so. The user can either increase his speed by 50% by empowering his legs, give a bonus to his lifting power by empowering their arms, or increase their eyesight by empowering their eyes.
Strengths:
-Very versatile, since there are three different variations.
-Empowered areas also deal 25% more damage when using them in combat
-The leg speed boost stacks with other speed boosts cumulatively (E.G., at C rank with his 40% passive speed bonus, this makes him able to move at 210% speed).
Weaknesses:
-Using more than one aspect of Blacklight Barrage at a time costs extra mana.
-Short-ranged, since it only empowers his body and cannot extend to other things.
-The aura also makes him take 10% extra damage if the covered area is hit by a darkness attack.
-The aura is very noticeable since it is light, making him stand out during stealth missions.
-Duration is two posts for each empowerment; standard mana costs, with an extra 50% cost added for each aura area besides the first. Cooldown is three posts.

- Name: Flashbang
Rank: C
Type: Light, Darkness, AoE, Offensive
Description: Alexei focuses his magic on specific points in space, creating small spheres of light at the target areas. The spheres can then either expand, creating light, or contract, creating small explosions; although it takes more time, they can also do both, resulting in bigger explosions.
Strengths:
-Easy to catch opponents off guard, since the small orbs aren't very noticeable when there are other sources of light around
-Has a use inside and outside of combat, making it versatile
-Orbs can exist outside of their creation range, allowing Alexei to set up traps in advance and lead enemies into them
Weaknesses:
-The orbs take time to place, and interrupting Alexei while he is setting them up can cause them to dissipate.
-The orbs can also be dissipated by darkness of a higher rank, like every other construct of Alexei's.
-While the orbs are set up, Alexei cannot cast other ranged spells. Melee spells still work fine, however.
-Like all Light God Slayer spells, Flashbang creates large amounts of light, making them bad for stealth situations.
-The orbs can theoretically last indefinitely before activation, but once activated, they charge for up to a full post before exploding. Fully charged orbs can increase the damage by up to 25%, for a total of 125% rank damage. Standard mana cost, 3 post cooldown starting upon detonation.
- Shineblades:
- Name: Shineblades
Rank: C
Type: Light, Darkness, Weapons
Description: Alexei focuses his magic in the air around him, creating swords made of light. 4 is the default number, but the number can vary wildly depending on how much magic Alexei pours into the spell. These swords are controlled by Alexei's mind, and can move anywhere within 10 meters of him for defensive or offensive purposes.
Strengths:
-Excellent in close-ranged combat, since it allows Alexei to prepare other spells while the blades keep opponents busy
-Allows Alexei to multitask and fight multiple opponents at once
-Shineblades regenerate over time if broken for their duration, making them easy fodder to block certain spells with
Weaknesses:
-Limited to the area around Alexei, so Alexei must put himself in danger to fight with them
-Like most of Alexei's other skills, darkness magic can dispel the blades completely; they will also shatter if brought up against a stronger weapon.
-The more swords that are out, the more concentration it takes to control them; more than four swords prevents Alexei from casting other spells, while more than 6 gives him a 50% movement penalty.
-Like many of Alexei's spells, the bladees give off copious amounts of light, making it less-than-ideal for stealth situations.
-Blades last three posts; each blade costs 2.5% mana to create, leading to 4 blades equaling standard mana cost. Cooldown is three posts after the blades dissipate.
- Signature Spell:
- Name: Hard Light
Rank: C (Signature)
Type: Light, Darkness, Multipurpose
Description: By mixing in his darkness attribute with the ambient light around him, Alexei is capable of creating objects made of 'hard' light. Said objects can extend anywhere from a weapon to attack, to a 'flashlight' torch; as long as they aren't too intricate (sticking with basic polygonal shapes), the possibilities are endless.
Strengths:
-Incredibly versatile, since there are almost unlimited basic shapes one can make with it.
-The light retains shape until broken, or until Alexei runs out of magic/is defeated
-By mixing his darkness with the light, the resulting weapons can be made to not give off light despite being made of light
Weaknesses:
-A higher-ranked Darkness spell can easily dissolve almost every construct.
-Similarly, a higher-ranked weapon can cut through the objects easily.
-Constructs cannot be complex; unlike Steelshift, one has to keep it simple and un-intricate.
-Because the constructs are essentially light, they are very light and easy to move; they make for sub-par defenses because of this.
-Duration is three posts for constructs that are large; smaller ones, like a light dagger, can last longer, but dissipate soon after Alexei lets go of them. Cooldown of 3 posts.
