Death of a Guardian [Private]

Leaving the montains continuing to head north towards the human settlement of Oak Town Haxos smells an odd scent, an almost overwhelming scent of blood and death. The scent reminded him of Kaseki however there lacked the faint scent of decaying wood, this is a new scent, a foreboding scent. Haxos primed himself for battle [activate primal tap] as he got down into an animal like posture and began prowling about for this new scent.

"Oh heyo there boy. Might want to be careful who you get ready to fight." A mocking voice called out as a young woman came out in front of Haxos. Lucille couldn't believe her luck as she came out of Oak Town just to find a fresh kill waiting for her. He wasn't overly strong either, so she could quite easily overpower him if she played her cards right. The Tartarus mage summoned her blades to her hands as she walked slowly towards the man, being as threatening as possible. She was sure Lyserg might have a fit if he knew she was randomly killing, but it was too fun for her to just pass up at the moment. Lucille wouldn't hear the end of it after this, but for now she was going to have her fun.

"Because this is one battle that you wont be coming back from."

Haxos looked at the woman and her blades, "so you are an evil being."

He then dug his feet deep into the earth as his legs fired him at the magical swords woman aiming a bite for her arm while striking at her shoulders with his hands so he may wrestle one of her blades away from her. "The days of blood being spilled by you are numbered witch."

To the man, he might have been moving at a fast speed. But to Lucille, he was much more subdued. Making it fairly simple for her to dodge his lunge and laugh at his words. "You think you can defeat me? How utterly foolish of you!" The blood mage swung her blades at him a few times, using the chains around them to keep herself at a nice distance yet able to get in real close if it was needed. After her brief assault, she kicked back and created a bit more separation between the two of them. The blood mage didn't need it, but Lucille figured that she could show off a bit before killing him mercilessly.

"You'll have to really try harder to beat me, with your pathetic skill set that you actually do have." Safe to say Lucille was trying to get under his skin, but she really was unimpressed by him. She had fought, seen, and killed a lot tougher.

Haxos landed and rolled on the ground after the assault the witch landed upon him, 'what foul magic' he thought to himself. Not only did the woman smell of blood she used blood, but she was good, too good for him in his current state. The most he could do is maybe slow her down for a moment but overall his attacks would be futile, he would need the cover of night to hope for any type of advantage if it were at all possible. He attempted another lunge at her but this altering his direction maybe getting her to distract herself. Lunging straight at her at first but landing near her then redirecting away to the left then trying to bite her legs hopefully to pull her to the ground.

Lucille was once again unimpressed with his tactics. He tried tricking her, but his speed was still lacking so much that she simply had to jump back a fair distance in order to avoid it. The Tartarus mage hadn't pulled any of her moves out yet, but she felt like she should just so that he wasn't going to waste her time more. Thus, she did a mocking yawn gesture before pointing a blade at the man. "You're starting to really bore me. I don't have the time to waste with you." Lucille swung both of her blades, creating 10 blood bubbles around her to protect her from any charge that the man might try again. Cracking her neck, Lucille giggled in a devious way.

"Well come on then. Try to get me again. Or are you afraid?" Lucille felt her bloodlust rising, and it was going to get worse if this fight was prolonged.

Haxos knew this was a true wizard and he was just some half rate wizard, however he needed to protect himself since she is only toying with him... He grabbed a tree branch then threw it at her, "then come get me, this is my only offensive spell and being in this spell is quite taxing... obviously I am no match for such a great warrior."

He sank to his knees showing his utter defeat but he would wait for her to get close and maybe he might get one strike in to give her a memory of him. It could just be pointless hoping of a deadman for all he knows but it was all he had.

Lucille frowned when the man threw a branch at her, avoiding it easily and sighing when he admitted defeat so quickly. She had barely begun to get serious and yet he was already giving up. This kinda pissed the Tartarus mage off a bit, but she relented and simply began to walk towards him slowly. "Well, at least you know how the ladder goes around here. I won't be having to worry about you realizing the futility of trying anything funny now will I?" Lucille let her blades fall a bit, holding on to the chain as she approached the man. "Such a shame that your potential had to be wasted, but alas you shall be remembered as another lamb to the slaughter." Lucille got close to him and raised her blade, ready to strike him down and then destroy his body so there was no trace left. She would have to be careful about getting blood on her though, she didn't want to start a blood bath.

She swung her right blade downwards for the kill.

As her blade came down Haxos bared his teeth and went in for the bite on her arm, even if he were to die this witch would have something nice to remember him by. A little memento, a dying mans hope, a dead man never truly giving up until his last breath. Hopefully he would become food for the earth that way he can give his body back finally for all those he had taken himself, the cycle will continue with or without him.

Lucille screamed in pain as the man bit her arm, before her pain turned into pure rage and she struck the man off her arm with her free hand. Anger taking over, she began to pummel the man with fists and kicks until her bloodlust took over and she started slicing him as much as she possibly could. Her blades accumulated a lot of blood, and her bubbles had since exploded all over his body, leaving the man a red mess. All the while, Lucille was screaming out things that resembled insults but were unintelligible due to the amount of screaming she was doing. When it was done, blood was spread all over the place and the man looked variously different than before. Lucille tapped him with her foot a few times, to see if he was truly dead. She had some blood on her, but it mostly landed on her blades and chains so her mind was clearer than if she had just did it with her fists.

"Oi. You still alive?"

Lucille tapped the dead body a few more times before sighing and shaking her head. "Such a waste of potential. Too bad he didn't come to Tartarus." Lucille swung her blade downwards and cut the man's head off, smirking as she picked it up as a trophy. "This will go lovely on my dresser. Maybe next to the pelt of the wolves I killed. After I skin it to just a skull though." Lucille happily walked away from the area, humming a tune while swinging her arms cheerily. The man's body left to rot in the sun and somewhere where no one would ever find it.

And to the Tartarus mage, it was a successful kill.
