Lina was sitting cross-legged on top of the guild hall roof, seeing the sun setting in front of her, and sensing the moon rising being her. She began to feel what the moon was bringing with it, the same thing that happened every night. she was used to it now that it hardly hurt. But when your entire anatomy and form changes its bound to hurt, she winced and opened one eye as the sun finally sunk over the horizon, all the orange faint light being taken with it as it was blacked out by the white light of the full moon. she closed her eyes, then when she opened them. feeling shorter and smaller, which she was. she sat up and scratched the back of her ear. After so long this was just her usual routine she went though every night.
She yawned, she had noticed she had been spending more time by herself, and hadn't talked much with anyone for a while. She went to the edge of the rooftop, looking down, it was too far to jump off. so she slid down the side and hopped on a fence and landed on the ground. she walked with a bounce in her step, exited to see the family she always saw every night. She went to their door and did her fox squeak, the youngest girl opening the door. "mommy! Miya's here!" she smiled, picking up Lina and taking her inside. her older brother running over, they sat on the couch while their mother from the kitchen came over. Lina sat in the girls lap as she stroked her gently, Lina, or in this household, Miya, purred happily and licked her face. "Hi, Miya." the boy, roughly about eight years old petted her between the ears. they didn't offer her food, because they knew she wouldn't eat anything they gave her.
Lina stayed until their mother put the two to bed, then she left for the night, unluckily it was raining. she sneezed and went under a nearby cardboard box tipped on its side. She never slept much, only a few hours a week at the most. the rain was cold, but the box was small so her head stuck out of the box, she flicked her tail. anticipating the sun to rise.
