Personality:
Easy to jump into a conversation with a stranger. Xiphius is bubbly and very social, always trying to meet new people everywhere he goes. He usually has a very easy going attitude and laid back attitude, until it comes to making money. His greed can set him on a straight-shooting path to whatever will make him the most coin. Most of this coin is spent towards his obsession with limes and other citrus fruits. He can easily be found getting into trouble raiding some farmers trees of all their fruit.

With an ever growing curiosity of other forms of magic he also enjoys watching other magicians battle and duel. Seeing what kind of abilities are out there in the world for him to witness. As such this draws him to higher populations of magicians, such as cities or guild halls that he is welcome too. He will avoid meaningless confrontation for as long as possible, as he doesn't like to use magic unless it is to fulfill his greed or is absolutely necessary.

Xiphius' past is full of nothing but sadness and regret, and so he chooses never to speak to anyone about it. Living only in the present and trying to make a better future for himself, never to repeat the sins of the past. This is the main reason Xiphius likes to move around a lot, adventuring and never staying in the same spot for too long. Though he longs to find some roots  somewhere in a guild or town, he thinks only of the bad that can come from it. Perhaps one day he could finally come across a place to call home.

In battle Xiphius often likes finding himself alongside others , albeit he can hold his own by himself however he feels his strengths ly in supporting allies and disrupting enemies. A very good teammate when in a fight alongside allies, he lacks the proper judgment and tactics to be a solid leader. He prefers to sit behind his allies and play puppet with the enemies, placing them into the path of his unrelenting allies to smash. In losing battle he fears that he may lose himself, so in every situation he will never go easy on an opponent. Especially alongside allies, he will always give 100% even if it is not needed. This makes friendly battles a somewhat uncomfortable thing for Xiphius to take part in. Feeling that he would take it too seriously and permanently hurt the opponent. Though in a controlled environment he would possibly indulge in a friendly bout to test his skills.

Xiphius' personality can drastically change over the course of a battle from his usual bubbly self to a cold maniacal tyrant as he uses more and more of his magic. Feeding off those around him to endure the strain of a long tiring battle. Some allies can get uneasy with this switch in his demeanor, as it is never permanent he will calm down after the battle is done and return to a happy bubbly guy.

Likes:
Inconsistency - Xiphius loves unpredictability. A random and ever adventurous lifestyle.
Citrus - More like an obsession. Can't get enough of sour tasting fruit.
Loyalty - Carrying out ones promises and never turning their backs on someone.

Dislikes:
Deserts - The endless sandy landscape bores him. He would avoid them unless it truly was worth his while.
Sugar - Xiphius dislikes anything with an overly sweet taste
Small Dogs - They are too yappy and clingy. *Shivers* Little pests they are.

Motivations:
Greed - Xiphius does love his money. There isn't too much he will turn away to make a little extra.
His magic is his greatest motivation as he believes he will never finish learning the all that there is to know about magic.
Friendship - Honestly,  Xiphius has troubles making friends. So protecting or earning the respect or forgiveness of the friends he does have can drive him around the bend.

Fears:
Fear itself -  As a controller of fear and madness, Xiphius is terrified facing his fears on the battlefield could have disastrous results on his magic use.
Large carnivorous plants - He's seen them destroy powerful and mythic creatures, so all carnivorous plants scare him.
Dirty Water - Xiphius is somewhat paranoid of water being filled of parasitic little creatures that could rip you apart, you can never truly see all that's in it.

Appearance: Usually wearing black jeans and a dark blue long-sleeve shirt, he has somewhat shaggy black hair and and silver eyes. Sometimes he carries around a backpack with him to store his fresh fruits in. He is rather slender for someone of his height, with very little muscle on him. He almost always has a smirk on his face. While using his magic it can be noticed his eyes glow very brightly and his shadow seems to move as if it is an entity of its own.

Hello there Zharesh. I'm Indacat and i'll be going over your character app. Firstly i would like to welcome you to the site and i hope you have fun here.

But onto the app now, firstly this is going to sound like nitpicking, but the personality has to be 500 words, you currently have 491. Very close, only missing 9 words. Secondly, your appearance, could you expand on it just a little bit. And for the guild tattoo, could you just say where it would be, if he joined a guild.

If those changes have been made, just bump the thread and i'll get on it asap. ;3

Sorry to be picky again, but could you just add a little more to the appearance. Like a couple sentences more. It just gives other people a better image of your character. Other things are good.
