Duel Kaseki Vs Bliss

Bliss had enough, all this stupid false bravado, this fake brotherhood..... hell, the concept of guilds and friendship sickened him.... for years he was always an outcast, for years he was back stabbed and lied too. Usually Bliss avoided direct combat, but odd enough he found himself in the arena. The he suddenly had a brilliant idea, a fight.... he wanted to fight, to release all of his anger and hatred. He pulled out a communication lacrima and sent a message to the renowned odd ball, Kaseki.... For some reason he didn't like the guy, especially his little friend Yuna....

"You stupid weed.... come to the arena and fight me. If not I'm going after your friend Yuna...." Bliss said into the lacrima, once the message was sent he then crushed it under his heel. He hated it.... he hated everything.... especially that annoying group of fools called Dragon fang.

Kaseki laughed at the thought. He had found more and more people going against him. To him, that meant only one thing, that Kaseki had become a problem, a threat. He smiled at the thought. He didn't care that he worked for  Alexander Zenneth. Kaseki hated Bliss... but that didn't matter. Kaseki needed to release his anger... with or without Kodai's help.

Kaseki stood in front of the large Arena. He smiled... for it was the location of his last victory. The arena had an irrigation system that was running through the walls. Water flowed from under. It was like his own private ocean... if he could tap into it.

Kaseki entered the doors of the place with his sword in hand. He looked at the small child,

"You defy this? The very thing your guild is working to protect? You don't deserve to live, I will tell the master of your treachery.We fight here today... and let it be the last time."

Bliss looked bored, he recalled having a short conversation with Kaseki..... but their differences and ideology ended up destroying any hope of friendship between the two. He held up his hand, a brilliant light glowed, three sewing needles composed of pure magic where spawned, Bliss threw the needles with deadly accuracy, he immediately dashed  backwards away from Kaseki. He stopped at the middle of the arena, he then clasped his hands together.

"Kumokami no Kakurega" muttered Bliss, suddenly countless threads began to spread across the arena creating a giant spider web. Bliss stood in the middle of the razor sharp strings, his face completely emotionless. He then tied some threads around his arm's, waist. He then pulled out a pair of scissors by the name of Sorcerers Edge. Bliss then crouched in a battle stance, as if a spider waiting for his prey.

Kaseki laughed as he made a small dash towards the needles. "Brother, you fool!" Kodai though, "I could have easily sidestepped that! Why do you let such weak tools hit our body?" Kodai tried to take over the body, but could not control Kaseki's built rage. He smiled as he let the dozen needles piece his metal and wooden chest. He had a plan.

Kaseki started to dart toward Bliss at full speed, much like a wolf or creature lunging at his prey. Kaseki moves fast between the threads, allowing it to rip his cloak as well as make small cuts on his skin. Kaseki then cast his spell, his Frost wall. He summoned a great wall of ice, breaking and shaking he ground. The tall wall launched Kaseki at Bliss. The force of the great frozen creation began to cause all of the strings to vibrate, hiding his location.

Kaseki held his blade, Khaos, tightly in his hand. He was in no mood for mistakes.

"It is one thing to threaten me, it is another to threaten Dragon Fang... But when you threaten my family, your guildmate... You disgrace yourself." He said, continuing to dart up and down, side to side through the green man's webbing.

"Even if I lose this battle, that boy loses everything else. How can he return to Nox Animus when he himself have threaten death upon his comrade? Bliss is no hero, he is simply heartless... and foolish to do so." Kaseki thought to himself.

Even though Kaseki belonged to Savage Skull he always felt like part of Nox Animus in a way. It was odd having your daughters in guilds not of yours. But that was how he lived... Maria and Sonya never listened to him really.

Kaseki was sent flying towards Bliss, Bliss then tugged on a group of threads, which caused him to be pulled away, Bliss then pulled another set of stings he then began to tie and weave the threads together, Bliss maneuvered his way across the arena, his threads tied itself to near by pillars which held up the arenas roof. Bliss then weaved back and forth between two pillars till the threads created a giant web between the two pillars, he then did something so crazy, he flung himself on the the web between the two pillars, he began to pull himself back adding more and more pressure on the web, Bliss held Sorcerers edge over a single piece of thread.

Bliss began calculating the area, the pressure on the strings, the distance between him and Kaseki. This was suicide, Bliss grinned this was exactly what he planned. Each of the suppurating pillars where wrapped in threads, each thread is capable of holding up to 200 pounds of force. Bliss' heels dug into the dirt of the arena, holding back the force that was built up on the web he was leaning on. His eyes narrowed ready to act in any second.

Kaseki laughed as he watched the boy retreat. He seemed to fly backwards and dash around pillars it Kaseki... it was a spider weaving its' own web. The entire action, Kaseki found amusing.

As the small green boy was creating what could be a catapult, Kaseki had been closing in the distance. Kaseki counted... "25 meters... 20 meters... 15 meters..." he thought to himself. "You should have killed the boy long ago," Kodai said in thought, "I told you he was a traitorous one. Even if you hate someone if your guild, you should work to amend that. A guild is a place of teamwork. That's why you unite under that single name. You become part of the team."

Kodai and Kaseki had begun to grow on each other. They were essentially the same person, one from the future, the other the past. Together, they were the same person, the same body. Together, they called each other Soul-Brother. They had begun to accept and agreement... Kaseki would harness the spells, while Kodai would control the blade.

"You're nothing but a fool, Bliss!" Kodai yelled. ...10 meters... Kaseki counted in his thought. "I WILL DECORATE THIS ARENA WITH YOUR BLOOD!"

Kodai closed in the distance between him and Bliss, it would be over soon. Soon Kodai would be satisfied. His blade was thirsting for war. This battle was no longer about Kaseki protecting Dragon Fang, it was not about protecting Yuna, nor about protecting Nox Animus... this battle was for Kodai.

This battle was a battle for honor.

The very thing that the traitor of Nox Animus lacked.

Bliss narrowed his eyes, he was fed up with it. Death? He laughed at it, he found actually found it so enticing. For Bliss' whole life it was always a struggle, never..... not once did he find true friendship... but maybe... maybe if he waited more.... maybe if he just smiled at the right person..... to be honest he never did plan to hurt Yuna or dragon fang, he just needed to piss off someone to the point where they would do the dirty work and just end his own miserable existence. After all Bliss knew all to well he was just a coward to afraid of dying by his own hand. Bliss merely chuckled to himself, after getting information about Kaseki, he found that Kaseki had another personality, Kodai.... and Bliss knew Kodai would not be hesitant to kill or fight him. Bliss finally was ready, he took his scissors and sniped the string, thus releasing an incredible amount of force. Bliss sent him self flying at the speed of 70 mph straight towards Kaseki. Bliss' scissors drawn out amied for Kaseki's neck.

Bliss' face was blank, ready to meet his fate, it was decided he was going to die in this fight, he never did intend to hurt anyone, much less kill anyone. Bliss laughed to himself.... So here comes the final curtain bliss thought to himself.....

Kodai watched as the boy seemed to close in the final distance in a quick second. The small boy had chosen to use the net as a form of launch, a catapult. His arms were extended with a sharp object in hand. Was it... scissors?

Kodai simply placed his blade before him and met the scissors between its' parts. This would be the final moments... As the two begun to stab at each other they found no place to land on. The boy moved quickly and agile. The plant moved heavy, reacting and dodging. Kaseki was not himself but the demon within, and Kodai never fought a target so small. Bliss began to wait as he begun to stab at Kaseki's limbs. Quickly he made small cuts, something fatal if he could weave his string around the wounds.


Kaseki thought about his entire life, his reason and will to live. "I cannot die here. I must remain victorious, for myself, for Yuna, for Maria... for Dragon Fang..." Kaseki thought about the one thing that made him feel never like a hero. "... For her." It was years ago that Kaseki had fallen in love with a girl. To his amazement, she had more in common then they could ever believe. They were both cursed to immortality, no matter ho many times they died, they would come back... "She was the daughter of the Sun and the Moon, cursed to live forever. I was just a boy who found the two greatest demons... together we would live forever. Together, we would never be alone again."


The boy seemed to grow weaker, as if the first spell had greatly exhausted his energy. He watched as sweat begun to drip down his forehead. Kodai found his chance. He let the boy strike his arm, allowing him to appear closer, it was in that moment that Kodai grabbed him by the throat with his left arm. He lifted the boy above him, watching him squirm and attempt to free himself. Kodai smiled as he held Khaos. He let the weapon revert to the more preferable design... the scythe.

"This was a battle you could not win. You threatened more that you thought would ever come for you. Not only did you forsake me, but you forsook my family, and with that you forsook your guild." Kaseki begun to reach far behind him with the weapon, extending it with all his might, preparing his final blow. "Coming here, you probably wanted to die. That is not my choice but yours. However, even if I wanted to spare your life, you have done more wrong against yourself than others. With that... may this bring you peace."

Kodai then begun to drop the boy from the height, and in that instant he swung his weapon. The blade of the scythe pieced the back of his body, revealing itself on the other end. The tip had gone through the heart, or rather close to it. Bliss would not live after this battle.

But he would live just long enough to see who he was.
