Personality:

In everyday situations, Aster has a kind and calm personality. It takes quite a bit to set him off, however, if you manage to make him angry, he will lose his temper. His family owned a greenhouse operation by a stream so Aster's always loved flowers. He feels calm and collected when surrounded by the different flora of an area. The life force of plants seemed to flow a lot easier than of animals in Aster's mind. Aster seems much more at peace when he's surrounded by flowers, even in the most stressful of situations. Personally, Aster would describe his personality as a firecracker with a green fuse. If you light it, it takes a while, but if you let it keep going, then it'll explode in your face.

In battle, Aster can stay fairly calm under the condition that there is a plant somewhere near him. Flowers do work the best, but any sort of plant will do. Ideally, he wears a mild rose scented cologne with a certain mustiness behind it, but if a fight breaks out before he can put it on, there must be a flower somewhere nearby for Aster to maintain his cool. Working in groups of at least two helps as well, when he's all alone, the temptation for Aster to give up is much greater. He isn't really driven to impress his friends as much as he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of them. This, coupled with the thought of having backup if needed, fuels Aster in fights.

Aster's skills in leading a group vary. When in a safe place with no immediate threat of danger, he does great. He could lead a group of horses to water and make them drink, but if any form of harm is apparent, he would prefer someone else bark the orders. Aster hates the thought that something might happen to a friend of his due to improper judgement on his part. Thinking that one of them might actually die under his command makes him sick to his stomach. He overgrew a rose one time which fell on his father and wouldn't come out of his room for a week, although it only left bruises. Aster does not get power hungry at all and hates when another person does. He would rather go alone than with anyone that thinks they're better than him.

Under command, Aster does well. He makes his own path at times, but still seems to get the job done. Although he listens great, Aster just thinks that another way might work better. If, by some stroke of luck, his way doesn't work, Aster will pretend that it never happened and go about doing what his first in command ordered in the first place. Aster's always been one to find different ways of doing things, which to him may be much easier, but to others seem like a pain. Maybe it's his hidden stubborn instinct, but Aster feels that it is part of what makes him unique.


Likes:

• Flowers - His father was a florist and would take Aster to the greenhouse with him every day while he grew up.
  
• Water - Living near a stream, Aster grew accustomed to the flowing water and the flora and fauna that resided on its banks and inside of it.
  
• Open Areas - Aster's favorite place to practice his magic was a lake at the end of the stream with giant lily pads, mossy rocks, and water lilies as far as the eye could see.
  
• Music - Growing up, Aster would go out near the water and practice his guitar by the lake. It seems to calm him down, no matter the circumstances.
  

Dislikes:

• Pitch Darkness - Without light we would have no plants, which are a large part of Aster's life.
  
• Cocky People - People have always looked down on Aster for his affinity for plant life.
  
• Cold - Although some prefer the cold, Aster's always lived in a warm area which never got below roughly fourty degrees in the winter.

• Friends - The most important things in Aster's life start with the people he surrounds himself with.
  
• Family - Aster's parents were supportive of his idea to travel and he wants to earn their pride.
  
• Flowers - Aster wants to show everyone he meets how beautiful flowers and floral magic can be.

• Fire - Fire is a common fear amongst living things.
  
• Failure - The idea that he's not good enough to achieve his dream has always followed Aster.

Aster is never seen without a V-Neck or a dress shirt. He chooses to dress stylish and nice no matter the occasion, even during training. Though it doesn't have to do with his physical appearance, Aster is always wearing a deep floral cologne. Through his sense of style, and his unique scent, he sometimes seems as though he's of the upper class, even though he isn't.
