A fated meet (Indar and Lance)

Lance walked through the streets of Magnolia with a sort of grimace on his face. It was a snowy day just like the day Griffon died and it was the exact date that Griffon died. He had his fists clenched in his pockets as he walked to the cliff. Once he reached the cliff he saw a single large stone sitting on the ground and he crouched on one knee in front of it and bowed his head while he closed his eyes. He started to cry as his tear drops hit the ground he started to mutter "If only I would have been stronger I could have saved you Griffon..." he muttered as he stood up and stared at the stone which had a dragon with flames coming out of it and a boy encased in flames.

He trembled as he stared at the ground. He could have done something to protect Griffon, he didn't have to die the way he did and it was Lance's fault he died. He fell to his knees and was unaware of his surroundings as he had let his guard down at that exact moment.

Lance turned around when he heard a voice behind him asking if he knew Griffon. He stepped back a little in surprise "Y-Yes... I KNEW Griffon" he said putting emphasis on "Knew". He stood up straight as he stared at the boy in the eyes "He is gone now... dead..." he said with a sigh as he glanced back at the stone "Anyway... what are you doing up here?" he asked as he looked the guy up and down "Was he one of your friends?" he asked with question as he felt something a bit off about the boy. If the boy answered his question Lance would smile at the boy "So what's your name?"

Lance looked at the man as he told him why he was looking for Griffon and smiled a little. The man was like himself in a way and it made him chuckle. He looked at the boy a bit closer as he called his own idea stupid. Lance shook his head "I don't really think your ideas that stupid... You remind me if myself... Always picking a fight with Heero..." He said with a chuckle. As the man introduced himself to Lance something clicked inside of him. He knew who Indar was and what he had done but he didn't really care. He looked at Indar with a smile "Nice to meet you Indar." He said brightly as he laughed and his stomach growled "Eh Indar... Sorry about being so abrupt on this but would you like to go to a resteraunt with me?" He asked tiredly.

Going out to eat with a guy was not seen weird in his eye seeing as it was only a friendly gesture.

This was a little strange to Indar, he had expected the guy to judge him, but then again, he wouldn't of has never known. It was strange, this man didn't either know who Indar was, which wouldn't of have been surprising or he just didn't care. Although what happened next was odd to say the least. Indar was asked out on a date, by a guy. Well it sounded like he was asking him out on a date to Indar at least.

Indar was literally baffled, but strangely opened his mouth. ''Well sure, i'll go, but first could i get your name?'' He would follow him after this, as a name was really needed before and as for now, Indar would just wait for the guy to answer him.

Lance blushed when he realized that he had forgot to tell Indar his name. Seeing as Indar was a wanted criminal and all he really did wonder if he should tell him a fake name or if he should tell the truth. He glanced at the ground for a second with a glance and nodded "Sorry about that... The names Lance Knighthunter...." He told Indar as he looked up with his blush still going on "a-and before you think of this as a date ITS NOT!" He said as he grabbed Indars hand and pulled him along.

As they walked Lance thought to himself why he was trying to become friends with this man who could easily kill him but then again he just didn't care.

When Lance reached the resteraunt he let go of Indars hand before the waiter saw him. "Would you like your normal table Mr.Knighthunter?" The waiter asked and Lance nodded before they were lead to a dark corner in the back. This table was oddly quiet as no one was seated around there. "Can I get you something to drink or eat?" The waiter asked the two and Lance nodded "Some of your strongest Wine and some steak please..." Lance asked as the waiter then nodded and awaited Indar answer.

Lance noted that Indar asked for some whiskey and once the waiter left Indar turned to him and asked him why he had invited him here. He shrugged "I was just hungry but I wanted to talk to you about something so I asked if you wanted to come... This isn't a date of any kind so don't think of it as one." Lance said with a small chuckle. He didn't really talk to Indar until the waiter came with the food then left again. Once the waiter left however Lance took a bite of steak and drank a sip of wine before staring at Indar "You know the food here is great..." he said with a mistchivious smirk "Now I wanted to ask you... why are you wanted." Lance said before thinking about it then continuing "I know the reason why and I don't care... I just want to hear it from you. This will not change how I think of you seeing as I live by my own code... If I didn't see you do it you didn't do it." he said with a friendly smile.

He hoped that he didn't make Indar mad or anything by asking him this question he just wanted to hear it from Indar himself. He was still wondering about Griffon and Indar but he decided to keep those questions for later.

Lex however what watching all of what was happening through a crystal ball of some sorts inside of his castle. He sat back and smiled "Wow Lance... first Rekka and now him?" He muttered with a chuckle "You just keep running into interesting people..."

Lance listened to Indar with a sort of smirk on his face as he took a sip of his wine. Once Indar finished explaining Lance took another sip of wine "I like you man... your strange like me." Lance said with a grin "You know I could get in real trouble if I am seen with you like this..." he then said as he let out a chuckle "Lets be friends!" he said as he held out his hand. Lance smiled warmly at Indar to re-assure him that Indar was safe while with him.

Lance sat back in his seat "I guess I should tell you a bit about myself now..." Lance muttered as took a bite of his food "The person you were looking for, Griffon, He was my brother..." Lance muttered as he looked down at the ground "Griffon Knighthunter..." he then muttered as he felt a surge of pain run through him and he closed his eyes for a couple of moments before chuckling a bit.

When he opened his eyes they had turned blood red "Sorry I have to cut your conversation with Lance short..." he said with evil grin as he took a sip of his wine then continued "I am not in my true from right now... I cant be in it right now as it would raise to much attention. I will show you later in a more... private area..." he said with a laugh. His voice was now a bit more deeper and more dominate as he stood up "My names Lex and for now you can refer to me as Lances evil side..." he said quietly as he held out his hand to help Indar up "Please come back to Lex's place so I can talk to you more about the current situation." he said with a grin as he really did hope Indar would accept his offer.
