Magic
Primary Magic: The Power of Sin
Secondary Magic: (Must be filled in later. Magic you bought at the store goes here)
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Sin has 8 different physical forms. A basic form and then 1 for each of the seven deadly sins. Each has their own powers and abilities which can be used to great effect. (Due to limited spell slots early on most of these powers are passives)
Pride manipulates shadows to fight. This allows him to fight while just sitting back and watching. This is likely Sin's most powerful form.
Wrath fights more hands on using super human strength, speed and skill that increase the more angry he and his opponents become. He is capable of fighting with a weapon or with his bare hands.
Envy isn't much of a fighter but allows for shape shifting and deception.
Greed has the power to harden his skin to incredible extremes. He uses this to fight on top of enhanced speed, strength and endurance.
Lust is not very well suited to combat but is capable of turning her fingers into razor blades. She is skilled in persuasion and getting close to people. These skills make her a deadly assassin.
Sloth is the most powerful of all Sin's forms. He is faster then Pride's shadow attacks, his blows are stronger then Wraths, and his skin is passively harder then Greed's skin at it's best. However he is too lazy to use his powers. Sloth can only be made to do anything when faced with death because death is the only thing more annoying then fighting.
Gluttony eats.
Strengths:
General:
-7 fold power: 7 different forms each with their own useful abilities.
-Old habits die hard: As any bad habit Sin doesn't die easily no matter what form.
-Passively Badass: More then half of Sin's powers are passive freeing him from the binds of limited mana pools and cooldowns that most mages face. Perks of being inhuman.
Pride:
-Hands off fighting: Pride's power is not linked to his physical body so he can fight at full throttle even if all his limbs are cut off and he has a spear in him pinning him to a tree.
-Long Range: Pride is the only Sin capable of long range combat.
Wrath:
-Skill unlike any other: Wrath is an incredibly skilled hand to hand fighter
-You mad bro?: The greater his rage and the greater the rage of his opponent the stronger he becomes.
Envy:
-Deal with the devil: Envy has the power to forge magic deals with humans, more often then not they are con deals.
-Master of disguise: Envy is capable of giving himself any physical appearance he wants.
Lust:
-You wouldn't hit a girl this beautiful would you?: Lust has deceptive appearances and knows how to use them.
-Touch of death: Lust is equipped with razor claws which are a deadly weapon for a trained assassin.
Greed:
-Ultimate Shield: Greed has incredible defensive powers and endurance. (Maybe to protect all of his "hard earned" wealth)
-Hand to hand master: While not as strong or fast as Wrath, Greed can hold his own in close combat very well.
Sloth:
-The pinnacle of power: Sloth is the fastest, and the strongest. End of discussion.
Gluttony:
-Let me eat him: Gluttony is okay with cannibalism and biting people's heads off makes for a very effective attack.
-Consume and Grow: Gluttony can heal and regenerate mana by eating.
Weaknesses:
General:
-A victim of himself: Sins are considered bad for a reason, they ruin people and if they become unbalanced the sins within him can rip him apart.
-Limited transformation: All the sins with the exception of Gluttony are paired up with another that it is impossible for them to transform into.
-Starting point: Sin cannot start a thread in any of his deadly sin forms and must use at least one post to transform. In that one post of transformation Sin cannot attack or cast any spells, however his capable of blocking and evading.
-Passive Limits: Sin relies primarily on passive abilities which can be outdone and over powered by mages who have more active abilities.
Pride:
-Blind Spot: Pride fails to see how any human can ever present a threat to him. His arrogance can lead him into traps or catch him by surprised when over powered.
-The dumbest weakness ever: Pride controls shadows, not darkness. Dumb as it sounds for Pride to use his power over shadows there has to be light.
-Weak of body: While his magic power is impressive his body is physically weak.
Wrath:
-Irrational: Wrath doesn't think he just destroys everything in sight. A clever mind can use this to their advantage.
-Calm mind: If his opponent can remain calm and collected during a battle Wrath's power is reduced.
-Spell restraint: Wrath does not have access to any spells, only passive abilities.
Envy:
-I don't fight: Fighting isn't Envy's cup of tea
-Jealousy is an ugly thing: Envy is easy to anger
-Power? What power?: Envy's physical ability isn't much above baseline human
Greed:
-Sucker: Greed wants everything, so anything can make great bait.
-No such thing as no such thing: Greed refuses to accept the impossible, which can lead him to trying the impossible, and since it is impossible he will likely fail.
-Weak points: Greed excels in defense but he has various red "nodes" on his body that when stabbed render him very weak. Sub-human weak.
Gluttony:
-Ooh shiny: Gluttony likes food and will drop everything to eat at any given moment.
-I'm the most smarterest: Gluttony is dumb.
-Squishy: Gluttony has very low defense and can easily be injured, which is bad as Gluttony's primary job is to heal and recover by eating.
Lust:
-Fire of Love: Lust suffers double damage from fire
-Weak body: Lust's body isn't much stronger then a baseline human so she is limited in direct combat
-Spelless: Lust has only passive abilities to rely on
Sloth:
-Fighting is such a pain: There is only one thing Sloth finds more annoying then fighting, and that is death. That doesn't mean he can only come out when things look bad, it means he can only come out when fatally injured and running away is not an option and fighting is the only way to survive. Sometimes not even then.
-Practice makes perfect: And sloth never practices. He has lots of power at his disposal with no idea how to use it.
-Hibernation: Ice magic does double damage to Sloth
-Nap time: After 3 posts of being used in combat Sloth falls asleep and other Sin has to take over.
Abilities/Powers:
The different forms of Sin have several major stats measured on a scale of 1-5.
Strength, Speed, Skill, and Endurance,
Other Passives:
-Old Habits Die Hard: Sin regenerates 1% of his max health per post.
-Breaking the habit: Sin's body has super human endurance and is difficult to harm.
-Feeding the addiction: Sin can exchange his mana for health at a 1% to 1% conversion rate. Any amount, any time. Does not work in reserve.
-I worked at the gym for 2 hours I deserve some cake!: Similar to his "feeding the addiction" ability, Sin can "invest" x% of mana to heal himself. After 5 turns all that mana is converted to health 3x over.
Name: Pride Rush
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Offensive
Description: Pride extends 3 blade like tendrils from his shadow, each one capable of slicing through stone and steel as if nothing.
Strengths:
-You can't stop us: Pride's shadow can easily slice apart any non-magically reinforced material.
-Pin up Job: If he wants Sin can impale someone with this spell and pin them to whatever is behind them he can do so and hold them there as long as he likes, which can be a while considering his sadism.
-Range: This attack can help Pride keep his enemies at a distance and away from his physically weak body by attacking from as far as 20 meters away.
Weaknesses:
-Without light what is shadow: It sounds like a dumb weakness but Pride controls shadow not darkness. For there to be a shadow there has to be light to contrast it, Sin cannot use this power in the dark.
-Arrogance: This spell can only be used while Sin is in his Pride form.
-Where there is light there cannot be a shadow: This spell can be cut through as if it was nothing by any light magic.
-Retraction Delay: If pride tries to take advantage of how he can wait to retract his shadow he cannot use his shadow in any other way during this time
-Cooldown/Duration: 3 posts/indefinite
Note: Pride's ability "shadow manipulation" functions by the same rules of this spell except it is weaker and doesn't do ranked damage, while this spell does.
Name: Deal with the Devil
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Supportive
Description: This spell can only be used by Envy. Envy offers his hand to his foe for a handshake and presents a deal. A deal can be one of two things.
Type 1: Exchange
"I will give you x% of health for x% of mana" or vise versa. The exchange does NOT have to be equivialent. The mana cost for a type 1 deal is split between both Envy and whoever the deal is being offered to.
Type 2: Condition:
"Neither of us can use our right arm." The condition can be anything, really anything, as long as both parties are effected equally and no third party is effected. So stuff like "I can use my right hand and you can't use your right foot" won't work because they are under different conditions, neither will "A blackhole will appear in the sky and swallow the planet." Because that would effect more then the two people making the deal.
If the deal is accepted the exchange will occur/the condition will become law.
But wait there is more
Type 3: Bluff
"I will give you x% of health for x% of mana." Envy presents a deal that fits under type 1 or type 2 except in his mind he is "crossing his fingers" for lack of a better word. If the deal is accepted Envy can rob the other person of their mana/health without giving any or if the fake deal was a type 2 the condition will only apply to the person who accepted the bluff deal.
If the other person calls the bluff in the case of a type 1 Envy is robbed of his end of the exchange or in the case of a type 2 the condition only effects Envy.
If someone calls a bluff on a type 1 or type 2 that wasn't really a bluff then they are penalized. (See what happens if someone accepts a bluff deal.)
For someone to accept a deal they must shake Envy's hand and say "I agree." For them to call a bluff they must flip off Envy and say "You are bluffing!" Failure to flip off Envy will invalidate the call.
Note: Denying the deal is different from calling a bluff. You can completely ignore Envy's offer if you want without a penalty.
Strengths:
-Game Changer: Nothing turns a fight around quite like the ability to rewrite reality with a handshake.
-It doesn't have to be fair: As long as the deal is reasonable enough for his foe to accept it, Sin can con them however he likes.
-Gonna make you think: To accept, to call, or to deny. Much mind games such wow.
Weaknesses:
-Pay no heed to the man behind the curtain: This spell can just be ignored and it will have no effect.
-Call that bluff!: This is one spell that doesn't pick favorites it can hurt Sin just as bad as it can hurt anyone else.
-You have to explain it: Sin has to explain all the rules of this spell for it to be valid.
-Duration/Cooldown: N/A / 5 posts
Name: Ultimate Shield
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Defensive
Description: Greed uses this ability to harden the carbon all of the carbon in his body into a highly damage resistant full body shield.
The carbon shell that Greed creates doesn't surround his skin, it is his skin. So you can't really break through it, rather you just kinda gotta deal with it. Now this is a double edged sword as this spell doesn't block attacks, it just resists them.
Strengths:
-Physical Resistance: Greed takes 50% less damage from physical attacks. Punches, swords, blunt impacts, sharp impacts that type of stuff.
-Rock Solid: Greed takes 75% less damage from fire, lightning and earth magic.
-One does not simply break skin: "It takes x number of d-rank spells to break this shield" -everyone ever. That doesn't apply to this spell. You can attack through it and do damage in spite of it. But you can't destroy it.
Weaknesses:
-Erosion: Water and wind magic do 25% more damage then normal against greed in this state.
-Heavy Weight: Greed puts on 100 pounds by using this spell which can have obvious negative consequences.
-Nothing quiet as stiff as stones: Greed's speed goes down 1 level when he uses this spell.
-Cooldown/Duration: 10 posts/7 posts
Name: Chainsaw Shadow
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Offensive
Description: Pride extends his shadow like he does with pride rush, except it only has one blade. One blade that opens like a mouth and bites people with chainsaw like teeth. Ouch.

-Tear them limb from limb: If you get caught in this spell it will do everything it can to shred you to pieces, not to mention it can hold you in it's flesh ripping clutches for a short while.
