Confused By A Lust For Justice (Leaving)

Axel was standing right in front of the door to the Fairy Tail guildhall. His arm continued to hesitate grabbing the door, since he did not know if he could tell his future plans to the guild. He would hate to see the sad faces after he told them, and he also did not want to make himself feel that sad, since he decided to make this change, and wasn;t going to back out. truth be told, Axel's allegiance to fairy Tail was quickly fading, as too much has happened to him, as well as a recent action in the guild. First of all, Axel witnessed his father get killed by his on sisters, which made him sick to his stomach everytime he thought about it. He had no ideal they were so evil, and the fact that they could use magic in the first place, as they always said how they dispised it so, and wanted to be fashion designers. Of course this was a coverup, and Axel did not know why his sisters did that to there father. He did not care anymore, as he could not control his hatred for his siblings anymore. They played his feelings for who knows how long, and Axel wishes to get back at them with righteous justice. Axel couldn't just be a mercenary anymore, as he wanted to feel he was actualy doing something that helped Fiore as a whole. Doing tasks for people was good and well, but Axel wanted to feel more important.

Also, recently Axel had been confused mentally by a decision most Fairy Tail members took back at the last guild meeting. At the meeting, a woman had appeared that belonged to the guild Nox Animus, a guild Axel knew nothing of but the name, and this woman turned into a large vicious dragon, threatening the security of the meeting as a whole. Fairy Tail members however, had the audacity to defend the dragon in front of everyone, claiming though she was in a dark guild, she was not as dangerous as other dark guild members. No matter who it was, Axel would always be on the offensive against a dark guild member. His sisters even mentioned something about a dark guild before they dissapeared, so any guild that makes people do heinous things like that deserved to go down, with every member in it when it crashed, as Axel thought this was the best way to secure the safety of those who chose better lifestyles. When Lance, Rita, Heero, and even the guildmaster defended the member of a guild like that, Axel lost a part of respect for them. He liked them, but felt weird around them at times, like they would go dark at any time, and of course they probably wouldn't, but after supporting a dark guild member, Axel was always on the defensive.

Axel and his lust for justice did not fit well with Fairy Tail, and he was afraid it would cause a fight he did not want happening. Axel stopped his arm's hesitation of opening the guild hall door, and just threw his arm on the side of his body. He decided not to say anything, as he akways had a thing for expressing his true feelings during times like this, and he did not want the guild hearing what he had on his mind. With a sigh, Axel walked away from the guild, took one last look, and left Magnolia Town. Where to, he didn't know, but he just needed to get out of Magnolia.

EXIT

Simon considered himself a simple man. He joined Fairy Tail out of a need for a job. Nothing more, nothing less. But things got a bit more complicated after a while, after various severe injuries and close encounters of the dragon kind. Complicated on the level that it made him spend long hours circling above Magnolia trying to rap his head around things, trying to think with purpose. It was during one such flight as he flew above Magnolia Town that he saw with his ever keen bird vision one justice seeking vigilante with his back to Fairy Tail. Naturally there was no way in the world for Simon to know what was going on so he naturally assumed the most common possible situation. Out of a whim and a nice bit of boredom he altered his course to fly over Axel. He descended at a quick pace and in just a second he had shrunken down to the size of a parrot and perched on the wind mage's shoulder.

The little flaming bird cocked his head at Axel and chirped "Sup Axel. Heading out on a job?" Realizing the complete lack of anything he had to do and the fact that he hadn't worked with Axel before decided to add "What is the job about? Mind if I tag along? I've been looking for some work lately and I still haven't had a chance to do a job with you since you joined." He scratched the back of his head with his wing, a gesture that looked perfectly normal on a human but very strange on a bird "To be honest I feel bad for never really hanging out or doing anything. Especially since you have been in the guild for a while now. No one should have to live without my charming presence in their lives." Simon tried to grin but then remembered he couldn't with his beak, but he did his best to communicate the sentiment anyway.

One dying wish saved Rita from an eternal solitude.  Rita only to walked into this guildhall that day because it was Isoko wanted nothing more than for her younger sister to grow strong and fight the battles that she couldn't. Now that she thought about it...Where would she be without this guild? All of the pointless racket and goofing off had really saved her and shaped her into some one that she herself couldn't recognize from those days, She was better. Stronger. Fairy Tail Gave her a home and gave her a family when she didn't have either.

She sat outside the guild hall, her back against the railing of the steps while,Ghost, her exceed napped curled up beside her like a grey dust ball. That's when she heard some one rush out the doors of the guild and descend the the steps. She got a glimpse of the expression on his face and caught sight of a red coat before he headed off. "Axel..." She murmured quietly. Rita excelled at reading what was on peoples minds and because of this the shadow mage knew and she had known that this day would come. Axel wasn't heading out on a job request this time. 'Tch. So you've finally made up your mind.' Ever since the meeting and then the unexpected trip to Edolas Axel had been more 'distant' and by that he had grown more anti-social and wasn't open with his guild mates. She had watched the days passed as he grew further apart from the guild...but she didn't say a word to him. She didn't speak when her strolled past her either. Nor was the shadow noticed.'Just let em go...' She thought to herself coldly as she turned away, gritted her teeth, clenched a fist, and kept it all in. Rita couldn't help it and fixed her gaze in his direction again. She watched distantly as he looked back at the guildhall one final time and made his exit. "It looks like he didn't even want to say goodbye...' She muttered to herself bitterly. It was the first time she had seen a Fairy tear off their own wings. It was one of the most gut wrenching and angering things she had witnessed. Rather surprising coming from a girl who watched her mother, father and sister become the victims of murder, All while she was helpless to do anything. Fairy Tail, the guild treated every one of there members like a family and they all cared deeply for other members whether they knew each other well directly or not. Not even a see you later after the guild had accepted him with open arms!? From that point onward Rita would not forgive him for abandoning the guild like this. Whether they were close or not, It did not matter to her.

Lance sat in a seat while he stared at Axel leaving. After it caught the attention of Simon and Rita he grimaced as he stood up as walked over to Rita and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder "Bastard always was quiet..." he muttered to her trying his best to stay happy and have a cool smirk on his face. He took his hand off of Rita's shoulder and shook his head as he walked out of the guild hall. "Yo Axel!" he yelled as he flew up into the air with his wings "I wont forget about you mate!" he said as he flew up to the roof of the guild and laid down. He wouldn't forget about Axel that easily and no matter what Axel was doing Lance would still be his friend.
