Yumeko character application [Edited and done!] :)

Personality: When not in battle, Yumeko is very silent and not much of a socialite. But when she makes friends or when people get to know her, she is very nice and loves to chat. She's a big clutz when she's flustered but hates to admit it. She cares about anyone close to her so much that she would die for them; but only a few people know that. Yumeko is an only child and her parents died when she was 5. She was told they died from being attacked by a dragon. She didn't care much about her father because he abused her, but her mother held a very big part in Yumekos heart. Yumekos goal is to be able to be more sociable, and get better at her martial arts. Yumeko loves music. She cannot survive without it. She writes and sings her own songs and is able to play piano, guitar, violin, cello, flute, and drums. But normally the only audience she performs in front of is the little animals out and about. Yumeko grew up outside of Magnolia in a little house. There were no neighbors around, so Yumeko didn't have any friends when she was little. Her mother was a very proper woman and her father was a scruffy man. He was an earth elemental wizard, so he did small jobs in the area to earn just enough money for the family to get by. Yumeko is also very good at cooking. She can follow virtually any recipe and is always making up her own. Her favourite food to make is sweets. Mostly her pregnant chocolate chip cookies, which is on Oreo inside of a chocolate chip cookie. Yummy!

Inside battle, Yumeko is very serious and determined. She will do anything to protect herself and the ones she cares about. When set as the role of leader, she takes in mind of her teams Heath, and that of the enemy's. If she knows one person can't handle much more, she will send them back and use more of her strength to defend. When in battle under a leader, her actions depend on the battle. If the battle is critical, she will follow orders unless she knows something needs to be done. When the battle has shown superiority to Yumeko, she will back down and follow the orders of the leader. She knows when to follow orders, and when to respectfully disobey them. Whenever Yumeko is in battle, she remembers her mother and that helps her get stronger in fighting. She doesn't like violence much, but she will do whatever it takes to help anyone she holds dear. When Yumeko is nervous about a battle, she will avoid eye contact with everyone except the main enemy. Yumeko feels that anyone who threatens or tried to hurt her or her friends must be terminated at once. She will never admit when the enemy is winning, but she does know when they are. Yumeko only gives in at the very last second because she wants to do all she can. After a battle of she wins, she goes home and takes a nice bath. But if she looses, she goes home late because she helps treat others' wounds if there are any. She always puts others first.
Likes:
•Music
-When she was little, music was the only thing that could calm her down so she stuck with it and it helps her now, too.
•Trees
-Yumeko build a tree house in a big tree and practically lived in there during her childhood, so now she loves trees and always climbs the biggest one she can see.
•Books
-Books gave Yumeko her own fantasy of a better life so now she reads all that she can!
Dislikes:
•Dragons
-Yumeko was told her parents were killed by a dragon so now she feels they are merciless creatures who will not hesitate to kill anyone in it's way.
•Bullies
-When Yumeko met another little girl for the first time, she saw that the girl was all beat up because of some other kids. Ever since then she hated bullies.
•Dust
-Yumeko had to endure many dust storms as a child and it hurt her lungs for quite some time. Now she hates it and whenever dust is stirred up, she leaves in annoyance.
Motivations:
•Friends
-All of Yumekos friends are a motivation because they always push her to do what's right and whenever they are in need, Yumeko is always there and works hard for them.
•Becoming strong to make it into S-rank
-She wants to be able to defend those she cares about.
•Beating every foe she faces
-So that they can't hurt anyone else and she can rid the world of evil
Fears:
•The dark
-Yumekos father always hurt her when it was dark so now she is very afraid of it. She never admits it though, and no one could guess.
•Snakes
-She thinks they're creepy and that they will wrap around her throat and choke her to death
•Loosing a friend
-Yumeko thinks that if she looses a friend, it will be her fault and that her heart will just turn completely black, and that her life will end.

APPEARANCE

Height: 5'8
Weight: 118 lbs
Hair: Violet. She has straight-cut bangs and long, flowing hair that is very silky. She wears four black bows in her hair, two tied into the middle, and end of the hair on the pieces on each side of her bangs.
Eyes: One is Purple and one is bright blue
Others: Black moon earrings but is hidden by hair
General Appearance: Thin, but curvy. She's tall for her age so she looks older. Yumeko is very strong. She lifts so that her martial arts and just fighting in General can be the best it can be. She wears a dark dress that is just above knee length that has a white collar and bow/tie attached to it and the dress has vertical stripes. She wears dark gloves that go past her elbow and stockings that reach to right above her knee and the bottom of the dress has lace. When she's in battle, she puts on a purple cap her mother used to have because it makes her feel safer. The cap has a metal silver moon charm on it.

Sorry, Kyll wasn't feeling 100% last night hence the short reply. In her stead I will jump in and assist you with this application =]

There's only a couple of things that need changing in your application and they're all little things.

First of all your date of birth doesn't require a year. We don't have a specified date here so stating a year in your DoB doesn't really show anything.

Secondly your personality is a little too short. Here at FTRP we require a minimum of 500 words for the personality. You currently have 435 words. If you're struggling for what to add then you can always incorporate some of your likes, dislikes, motivations and fears into your personality, perhaps stating what happens if she's confronted by one of her fears.

You don't need to put in your physical characteristics. This is an RP site afterall and thus all fights will be RP'd out.

You also don't need to put your magic into this application either, as we have a separate place for Magic Applications here (Magic App Template is here.)

Finally your history is not required in this application. All details of your characters history should be kept in the history board as I see you've already posted there.

Basically most of your edits is simply removing unnecessary details, which shouldn't take too long at all. Please bump this thread once all edits are made and then - assuming all is done as I've requested - I will happily approve your application =]
