Pesky Blockade Mission Solo (Private)

Mission Details:

Zhu sighed as he walked into the Clover Town train station. He was here on a very silly job. He was here to unblock a train because the town didn’t want to give a goblin, and a Vulcan, sweets and stuff like that. He couldn’t really understand why these creatures wanted sweets, but the truest thing was that they wanted them. What astounded Zhu more was that a township with plenty of more important things to do and worry about was above paying a couple of monsters with sweets. Granted it was a large amount, but the point remains it was sweets.

He couldn’t understand why it was so important that they didn’t pay up to such a simple, and ridiculous demand as paying off the monsters with sweets. Still he was here to do a job and he would do the job right hopefully able to get it out before the day was over so he could make his way back to the guild hall. As he walked inside however he noticed that the train station was full of people who were always so pissed off that they were screaming shouting, ranting and raving at the train station workers as if this incident was their fault.

He looked around in all of the chaos and found a man with a megaphone. He walked over and snatched it from him without so much as a word, but then again no one would be stupid enough to argue with a man who was carrying a sword that was taller than most men.

He held the megaphone up to his mouth and screamed as loud as he possibly could. The sound caused everyone to silence and Zhu continued to speak “Listen up everyone! The train is being held up! You are all making this take longer than it has too! If you don’t get out of here I’ll start hacking down each and every one of you! Get out so I can fix this without getting a headache!!! Now clear out!!!”

when no one moved he held up his great sword with one hand over his head “I said beat it!!” with a swing of his blade everyone started to run away. Zhu looked to the official and handed him the megaphone back with a smirk “That’s better. Now then go get your boss or whoever is in charge of this farce so I can get on with my damned job.”

The man rushed away to go and find the man who was in charge of the station. It took several minutes for the man to arrive and when he did he was livid. He looked at Zhu with a very angered expression “How dare you put on such a display as that! What would happen if none of them left?!” Zhu shrugged “I’d hit one until they started to get the picture. Besides this whole situation is all your fault! If you had just given into these ridiculous demands then you wouldn’t have a situation that I would need to be here in order to fix now would I? So just tell me where I need to go and get out of my way so I can clean up your mess.”

The man looked completely caught off guard he wasn’t exactly sure what to do or say at this point, but when he saw Zhu wasn’t going to go anywhere and that he wouldn’t get anywhere he simply sighed and nodded his head “Follow the tracks out of the station and you’ll be able to find the problem. I don’t care how you do it at this point. Just get rid of the problem, and get things moving again.” Zhu rolled his eyes nodding his head “Yeah I’ll get it done. Thanks when the day comes to an end you can start up the trains again. It’ll be done by then.”

With that little announcement he was finished inside of the train station and he was going to do his job at this point. He walked out of train station using a set of the tracks heading out of it. He was perfectly fine with walking on the tracks as he knew the traffic to and from the station had stopped until he had cleaned up the mess. He really wasn’t sure how far down the track the tree was and if the goblin or the vulcan were even there. He didn’t even know why these creatures would even have any problem with the fact that trains pass through the area.

After a few minutes of walking he arrived at the location of the problem, and he had to admit he was impressed. The tree was easily the biggest tree that Zhu had ever seen. He looked at the tree from end to end and was not surprised that no train could pass it as it spanned the length of both the tracks going to an from the station. He reached up and gripped the handle of Dragon Cleaver tightly in one hand before he slowly lifted it up and swung it next to him. He looked up however to see that he wasn’t alone.

'Monster Dice' :

As Zhu looked up and saw he wasn't alone he wasn't at all surprised to find that there was a Vulcan standing in the branches his arms crossed. He growled and looked down at Zhu "Unless you have what I want! You better leave to get it!!" Zhu laughed and smashed his great sword into the Tree "Come down here you slime ball! I'm going to spill your blood all over these tracks!!!" The vulcan launched himself down towards Zhu only to meet the flat of his blade against his face. It sent the Vulcan flying into the dirt off of the tracks and Zhu followed after him smiling widely "Aww come on! I've had girls who are better fights than this!!!"

The Vulcan jumped up and body slammed Zhu only to find that he only went as far as a few feet. The blade of Dragon Cleaver was halfway buried in the ground and Zhu was holding onto it with all his might which was strong as iron. Zhu brought his knee up into the Vulcan's stomach with all his might and the Vulcan grunted stepping back grunting and coughing as he was sent backwards from the shot. Zhu laughed and shook off the body slam without a single second thought "Ah! This is starting to be fun!!!"

The Vulcan looked up at Zhu with fear on his face now. It was clear that this man was barely so. He was more of a monster than a man. This simple truth gave the Vulcan pause, but Zhu wasn't one to pause for anything. He rushed forward easily pulling his great blade from the ground he stood on. As he came at the Vulcan the creature truly had only a limited number of responses it could form in its mind under such deress.

The Vulcan decided that its best bet was to try and put some distance between him and the obviously crazy mage. If he could get some distance between them then it was possible he could emerge with the upper hand. Sadly for him however that wasn't the case. Zhu was about to change the rules on him. With a flick of his wrist he dismissed Dragon Cleaver and summoned up an entirely new weapon. This was a katana still in its saya. When Zhu drew it however the blade became much larger easily the same size as a man. Zhu smirked and licked his lips as he brandished the blade "Meet Tessaiga." he said confidently. The Vulcan just stared in horror at the blade as if it was made from something Evil.

Zhu inhaled deeply and smirked as he caught the scent of the Vulcan's fear. It was this that he needed, and he was more than happy to know that his opponent was afraid of him. With this little gaurentee Zhu launched himself towards the creature his sword held up high as he swung it at the beast. The beast was caught off guard by the suddeness of the attack, and the appearance of the blade. So when he dodged it was far too late for the movement to be effective. Tessaiga bit into the creature's chest and caused a good sized hole to appear.

The Vulcan screeched in pain as it felt its blood begin to spill from its body. With a great swing of its arm it tried to put some distance between itself and Zhu. Sadly for it however Zhu simply moved the flat of his blade against the blow. The impact from the Vulcan's attack caused Tessaiga to sing from the vibration through its metal body. The Vulcan was also vibrating from colliding with the sturdy blade. This left the ape-like creature wide open and Zhu launched another attack this time slamming the flat of his blade into the side of the creature's head. This blow proved to be more than enough as it sent the beast flying through the forest foliage.

With the monster flying through the forest Zhu followed after him. His sword easily slicing through the foliage unhindered. He arrived at a clearing where he wasn't surprised to find no one there. He held his blade at the ready. He knew full well that the vulcan could've recovered during the fight and would be waiting for him to make a mistake.  He smirked and looked at Tessaiga and slowly, but surely small swirling winds began to form and wrap around the great blade. This was the sign he needed and he was ready for it.

It didn't take long for his eyepatch to warn him that something was coming towards him from the top of some trees. The Vulcan appeared holding a great rock in its hand. Zhu smirked gripped his weapon with both hands and turned slashing his blade towards the creature. The moment he did five great powerful claws made of magic appeared slashing through the ground, the foliage, and more importantly the Vulcan. The claws rippedl through the already weakened creature with such ferocity that once they vanished there was nothing but gore left of him. Zhu started to smile and shake his head "So pathetic....now to deal with your partner."

((OOC: Okay on a side note there are only two enemies in the job description so the normal is dead so I'm making the next monster the goblin))

'Monster Dice' :

He didn't notice that as he was standing there his target was actually much closer than he thought it would be. The green scaly skinned goblin was hiding in the brush. He saw how easily his partner was taken out and he decided that he had to be much more careful than his partner was. He thought a moment and couldn't come up with anything concrete so instead he went with his old stand by and summoned up two fireballs one for each hand. He threw them both from behind his partner's slayer.

Zhu didn't have any clue that he was under attack until both of the fireballs struck him full in the back. He stumbled forward and the scent of his burning fur vest caused him to become annoyed. He loved his vest, but thanks to these annoying fire spells of his last few fights he's had to replace it several times. He slowly turned around scanning the foliage for his target, and it didn't take him long to find it. He growled and rushed forward toward the foliage and the hiding goblin. The goblin did the only smart thing and tried to run away from his attacker. As he emerged from the foliage he was now exposed to Zhu and he couldn't be happier.

Kaze no Kizu CD 1/5

Zhu rushed after the goblin with a wicked grin on his face his sword in hand and still dripping with the blood from the Vulcan he slew. He followed the Goblin with a smirk "Come now little Goblin this is no way to act! You were so confident earlier where has all that spark gone?!" The Goblin whipped around and shot a fireball from its nostril much to Zhu's disgust. Still Zhu didn't deflect with his sword. This attack was not one that he wanted to put against Tessaiga. Instead he slid on the ground underneath the flame and let it soar over him. As it passed he got back up to his feet and chased after the goblin once more.

As he gave chase the Goblin and him ended up back at the train tracks where the blockage was. He couldn't help but laugh and stand rather proud "Well, well, well. Seems your fleeing led you right here to the monument of your downfall. If you had simply left this place alone and hadn't caused any trouble then no one would be after you. However, you and your dead partner wanted to cause problems. If you had just behaved even offered protection then you could be living instead you will die here. What a sorrowful tale you've woven for yourself."

The goblin turned and both of his hands were alight in an instant with the flames he was fond of using. He threw two more fireballs at Zhu, but the result was much the same as the last time. As he threw them Zhu was perfectly ready for them and he managed to dodge roll the both of them. He then started to charge the goblin dodging fireball after fireball as the goblin's desperation was clear as day. As Zhu neared within striking distance he quickly struck the goblin with the flat of tessaiga. The goblin was sent spiraling into the dirt and then sank into the top of the tree.

Zhu smirked and slowly approached the full tree top his sword in hand. As he approached it however he heard the goblin speak "We wanted sweets that's all! They didn't have to give us our whole ransom they only had to give us something! Instead they send a butcher out here to murder us!" The tree became ablaze with flames and Zhu just simply laughed resting the flat of tessaiga on his right shoulder "Are you that upset? you shouldn't be surprised by this response. You push people with such ridiculous demands and they tend to push back. This is your punishment for just such a thing!"

Kaze no Kizu CD 3/5

The goblin screamed loudly as he threw even more fireballs at Zhu. If there was one thing that Zhu couldn't stand anymore it was fire, and the people/creatures who used it. He hated fire and the burns on his body were a somber reminder that he had to deal with the problem at hand. He dodged and rolled away keeping the fire away from him he wasn't going to make the same rookie mistakes that he had a several months earlier. The goblin didn't stop his fiery barrage however and continued to throw fire ball after fire ball at the warrior of Lamia Scale doing everything in his power to stop his approach.

The shameful thing was that all of this was all for naught. Slowly, but surely. The goblin was too busy in his fighting flight reflex to even notice it, but Zhu was coming up. The goblin only noticed it far too late. Zhu stood up from his latest roll and swung his sword severing one of the goblin's arms. The goblin gave a screech but this time he surprised Zhu by breathing fire as he screeched. Zhu couldn't react fast enough and he was hit directly with the flames. He didn't waste time and quickly dropped to the ground and rolled away his chest burning up from the intense heat and he knew scar tissue would take over his chest even more. As he rolled away and got up to his knees the smell of burnt hair and skin filling his nose. The goblin was too busy screeching to notice the small win he had achieved.

Kaze no Kizu CD 4/5

It took him a bit to regain his composure but Zhu eventually regained his composure enough to stand. He looked down at his torso that was now as red as a freshly cooked lobster and growled his frustration and through his pain. The air was burning on his skin and it felt as if he was being stung by hundreds of bees and he couldn't help but hate himself all over again. he let a fire magic using creature get a drop on him and he just hated it all. He looked at the goblin who had spit fire on his stump to cauterize the wound. He knew that goblins were inventive little shits, but he really had no idea just how inventive they were. Still he wasn't going to worry about it instead he was going to worry about killing the damned creature.

The goblin looked at his handy work a little bit to long. It allowed Zhu the time he needed and he simply threw Tessaiga at the goblin with all his might. The blade was true to form and traveled straight. It planted itself dead in the goblin's chest. The creature was so baffled by this action he only looked at the blade now sticking out of his body and then back at Zhu. With a strangled cough he fell to the ground dead as a doornail. This was the end of the blockade and Zhu was happy about it. He slowly made his way over to the falled creature and retrieved his blade doing a blood swipe before sheathing it once more. He then turned his attention to the burning tree as this was his next obstacle to over come.

Kaze no Kizu CD 5/5

He looked at the tree that was still burning and he couldn't help but take an involuntary step back from it. He was too terrified, and to filled with hatred for Fire now that he wasn't going to approach something that was going burning and burning as bright as it was. Zhu needed to think of something to get rid of the flames. His quick solution was to just destroy the tree but if he did then the flames would just spread to the rest of the surrounding forest. This was a nightmare for him. He knew it would take a very long time for this tree to burn itself out, and he wasn't sure if he had that paitence. He dismissed Tessaiga and summoned up his twins axes that he knew would be the best selection for this job.

Now armed with the right tools he walked over to the tree and well below the head of the tree he began to chop away at the trunk of the tree with both axes as hard and as fast as he could. He couldn't keep an eye on the flames as they were to his left. His mind was reeling and he quickened his pace even more. It didn't take him long to get through the great tree with both axes and he was happy with his work. He let the axes down and quickly hauled the great tree off of the train tracks. He managed to kick the great tree off of the tracks and back into the forest but he turned and saw the flaming head with a great sense of dread. It was still burning, but the flames had left the tree top and spread down to the part that Zhu didn't cut away. He dismissed his axes and looked at the flaming tree top thinking over his next move.

With the fire mostly to a low as it tried to eat away at the old and strong Tree Zhu decided that he only had a few options left. He resummoned his trusted Iron- Crushing Fang looking at the tree. He wasn't a man for planning and he was truly finished with this mission he wanted to get back to the lamia scale guild hall and recover from his burns he has suffered on this job alone. He lifted tessaiga and began to let the wind spin around his blade. He gripped the hilt with both hands and swung it with all his might. As he did the five great claws of energy soared from the blade and sliced through the tree cutting it into five little pieces.

Where the energy waves cut through the tree the tree simply did not exist anymore. It was all good for Zhu at this point as he only wanted this damned mission over with. He walked over to the chucks of trees that he had left over and some of them were burnt to cinders. He stomped on them and threw the rest of them off of the train tracks. With the neusences dead and the tracks cleared he stormed back to the train station. As he made it back into the door of the train station he was instantly swabbed with people. He didn't have any paitence for any of it. He kept storming through and as he did he noticed that his guild tattoo had been burned once more and couldn't be recognized. This was his saving grace for him. The boss rushed up to him and he didn't get a word out before Zhu put his fist straight into the annoying man's face. This dropped him and Zhu spoke only once sentence "Job's done. Trains can run again." with that he left the train station in the same silence as before.
