A Strange Encounter(Ophelia and Daiki)

Ophelia felt rather lethargic and lazy today, her hair was bundled up in a messy bun which was held up with feathery pins. She wore a white lace tea length dress with white platform heels, strangely she resembled a bride who had just recently been dumped by her groom.

She sat on a bench, her back facing away from the gorgeous blue sea that appeared to blend in with the sky. The girl appeared to be rather tired, if not a little unpleasant with her mood this evening, she leaned on the arm of the bench and placed a hand on her forehead watching as people began to pass by. Surprisingly, Ophelia found this rather comforting, and slowly the girl began to doze off. This was a shocker since she ever rarely showed a tired side, and if she did it would have been in her room as she was about to sleep. But lately, sleep for her has been very little since Ophelia had been jogging around many jobs, the poor girl just needed to rest.
Her deep red lips parted slightly as she fell asleep on the bench, one might assume she was dead at first glance.

Daiki walked through the city of Hargeon with both his hands behind his head, with each hands fingers interlocked. His short white hair, as well as his midnight blue overcoat, fluttered slightly as he walked. He smiled ever so slightly as he walked through the city, in which he would eventually end up near a bench with a woman sitting on it, almost asleep.

Though he didn't much notice the woman as he scanned the area before actually seeing the woman on the bench. He would lower his hands from being behind his head to his sides. He observed the woman before walking up to her, though he had also noticed that she seemed to have just about have fallen asleep.

He stopped roughly five feet away from the woman before crossing his arms and speaking. "Hello there, Miss. I apologize if I'm bothering you, but are you waiting for someone?" He said, watching the woman.

The man's voice managed to wake her up, to an extent at least. Her eyes slowly open, and her nap was momentarily disrupted. "Hm?" Ophelia murmured as she looked up at the man who stood in front of her. "Pardon? Are you... Are you talking to me?" She placed a hand on her chest and looked around, clearly he was staring at her. "Goodness no, I'm not waiting for anyone I was just... Napping..." By the Gods! Ophelia slept in public!? The noblewoman began to freak out. She placed her hands over her mouth and tried wiping off any drool that managed to sneak its way past the corners of her mouth. How could she have been so reckless?

"Is there anything on my face?" Ophelia had to resort asking a complete stranger for his opinion, her appearance was at stake and she couldn't walk around in public with drool on the side of her face or smeared make-up. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked I just..." She paused for a moment before speaking again, "I've been having very bad sleep lately and I got carried away. Look, I apologize if I was interrupting your stroll or anything of the sort." What was she doing? She bit her bottom lip in frustration and placed a hand over her forehead, massaging her temples. It appeared as though her headache and tired behavior from earlier had dissipated.

Daiki listened to the woman as she asked if he was talking to her. He would nod while smirking ever so slightly. He soon heard that she wasn't waiting for anyone, but was actually napping. He blinked a few times before watching her place her hands over her mouth, apparently trying to wipe away any drool that escaped her mouth while she was napping.

He chuckled slightly before she had asked him if there was anything on her face. "No, you don't." He said, with an ever so slight smile on his face as he listened to her speak again. "It's fine, Miss." He said, before the woman had explained that she had been having bad sleep lately, and that she was sorry if she interrupted his stroll.

He shook his head a little before speaking. "Don't be sorry, you didn't interrupt my stroll at all. In fact, I was about to take a break. I figured it didn't suit someone with your looks to be caught, by someone they knew, sleeping in public." He said, chuckling ever so slightly as he moved closer to the bench. "I take it the seat next to you isn't taken, Miss?" He asked, not really wanting to be rude by sitting next to her without asking. "My name is Daiki." He said, still smiling a bit.

"Thank goodness..." Ophelia calmed down slightly, she ran her fingers through her blonde bangs before replying to him, "The seat isn't taken, you can sit if you want."

He appeared to be quite the gentleman, something that she rarely comes across. The man introduced himself as Daiki, and odd name, but the noblewoman has heard of odder. "I'm Ophelia, Ophelia Katulai."

"My looks? Oh, you mean how I dress, right? I enjoy dressing up, no matter the occasion. I suppose I do like to stand out and look lovely. So, Daiki, was it? What are you doing at Hargeon this hour?" Now that she got a good look at him he didn't look like the kind of person who would just be walking about. His white hair was the first feature she noticed on him, and he could easily be spotted in a crowd. Other then that, the man wasn't shabby looking. Sadly, if Ophelia were to stand up she would be slightly taller than him, of course it was the heels she was wearing that made her so tall.

Daiki sat down next to the woman as she said the seat wasn't taken. He soon listened to the woman introduce herself as Ophelia Katulai. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Ophelia." He said, looking over at her. He soon heard her ask if he meant about how she dressed, in which he nodded slightly.

"I decided to take a walk for a while, and I found myself here. What about you, before your nap, I should say." He said, smiling a bit. He scanned the area with his red eyes before looking over at Ophelia and smiling a bit.


[OOC: Sorry about the short post with little to work with, have had to deal with stuff today, didn't want to make you wait.]

"What I did earlier?" Now that he mentioned it, her memory was rather blurred. She couldn't quite figure out what she had been doing before her nap. "I think..." Ophelia mumbled, "I left my manor because it got rather stuffy in the afternoons, I walked for awhile and decided to rest and I guess my tiredness got the upper-hand." She didn't want to admit it, but the reason she took her small walk in the first place was because of loneliness. The noblewoman looked away, a forlorn expression was on her face that lasted for a moment.

Ophelia cleared her throat and spoke up, "Ahem... Anywho~" Her mood quickly changed. "I suppose you're lucky to run into such a magnificent girl like me~" Ophelia cooed and placed a hand on her cheek, caressing her smooth skin.

Daiki listened to Ophelia as she spoke about what she had done earlier, which was leaving her manor because it had gotten stuffy and when she decided to rest after her walk, her tiredness seemed to have gotten the upper hand. He also watched her look away, not catching the expression that flashed on her face, but that was to be expected.

He soon heard her clear her throat before speaking again and changing the subject, saying that it seemed that he was quite lucky to run into a magnificent girl like her. "Why, yes, I do feel lucky running into a woman such as yourself, Miss Ophelia." He said, smiling a bit, looking up to the sky.

After a moment he would look over at Ophelia before smiling slightly and speaking once more. "So, if I may ask, are you part of a guild?" He asked. The sleeves of his overcoat were rolled down, covering up the guild seal he had on the back of his right arm.

After hearing his words, Ophelia stood up straight and smiled, feeling somewhat flattered since he agreed on how marvelous she was.

"My guild? Oh yes, I'm in a guild, Lamia Scale." She replied. The noblewoman turned around so that her back faced him, since the back of her dress had a V neckline and her hair was up today, her guild mark could be easily spotted. It was a very pale baby blue that rested in the middle of her back, directly on her spinal column. She placed her hand on her back to point at where it was located, but there wasn't much need to. Ophelia turned back around. "Certified legal mage~ What about you, do you belong to any guild?"

Ophelia paused and stared at him for awhile, squinting. She appeared to be judging him, at least momentarily. She had an urge to fix his hair, so like any good fashionista, she extended her hands and placed it on Daiki's head. A total strange whom she had just met today. It took her a few minutes, but when she finished she drew her hands back and squinted once more, checking to see if her job was completed. This was all in the name of fashion.

Daiki watched Ophelia stand up, and soon listened to her speak. She said she was part of the guild called Lamia Scale, in which she turned around and showed off her guild seal, which was pale blue and rested in the center of her back. He smirked a bit before she spoke again, asking if he belonged to a guild. He nodded and smirked still, but before he showed it off, he noticed her staring at him, in which she would fix his hair.

A few moments after Ophelia had fixed his hair, he would blink a few times before speaking. "First, I do belong to a guild. I belong to Fairy Tail." He said, rolling up his right sleeve up to his elbow. His guild seal was in the center of his right forearm and was lavender. "Second, I take it touching someones hair is your way of showing affection?" He said smiling a bit and chuckling as well. "All joking aside... why?" He asked, blinking at the woman.

"If I may ask, could you tell me more about yourself?" He said, still smiling. He would soon roll up the left sleeve so that he had both sleeves rolled up.

Fairy Tail? Ah, Ophelia had heard that name once or twice. She had heard many tales about the members of the guild, and it appeared as though a member had actually approached her. Strange how these events laid out.

"Affection? Heavens no! I was just fixing your hair, which is a mess by the way." Ophelia placed a hand over her chest and gasped when he made that remark about affection. Was she giving off strange vibes? "I just like seeing things organized, neat, and precise," She scowled at him, "Don't assume things..." The noblewoman stopped herself from scolding him, "Ahem." She cleared her throat once more and placed her hands clasped together on her lap. "I suppose you could say I pay close attention to the details. What do you want to know about me? As you can see, I'm already amazing~ But I should learn about you as well, so we can grow as mutuals, yes?"

The man smirked as Ophelia had denied his joke and nodded as she just liked to see things neat, organized, and precise. "Many apologies, Miss Ophelia, I was simply joking." He said, fully meaning his apology. He smirked a bit as she heard her call herself amazing and nodded a bit.

"I'd simply like to know the basics about you, though what would you like to know?" He said, watching her, with a small smirk. He would soon stand up before stretching slightly. "Would you like to talk while walking or no, Miss Ophelia?" He said. "I'm open to answer most questions you have about me. Just anything that's not needed to be shared, I'll make sure to let you know." He said, smiling a bit, joking around a bit still.

"I don't understand why people keep referring to me as Miss, or Lady, call me whatever you prefer, that's what my guild mates do. Come along. I suppose we can walk!" The noblewoman abruptly stood up and fixed her dress. "It's great to see that some people agree with my magnificence~" She commented after seeing him nod slightly. "Come along now!" Ophelia knelt down and pulled Daiki up out of his seat on the bench so he could stand, she slipped his arm through the crook of his. "Be a gentleman and lead the fair lady." There was a slight hint of teasing from the sound of her voice, but this was Ophelia's somewhat playful nature. See, she wasn't angry all the time.

"So, what are your hobbies?"

Daiki listened to Ophelia as she spoke, saying that she didn't much understand why people called her Miss or Lady, and to call her what he preferred. "Alright, Ophelia." He said, watching her stand up, fix her dress and speak once more. She had soon knelt down to pull him up out of his seat, slipping her arm into the crook of his. Though when she spoke, telling him to be a gentleman and to lead, he smirked slightly.

After a moment, she had asked him what his hobbies were. He would start leading her by walking at a reasonable pace throughout the city. "I've have to say my hobbies are finding good foods to eat, training every now and again, as well as meeting people and making new friends. What about you, Ophelia, what are your hobbies?" He said, awaiting her response as he continued to walk.

"Don't men go hunting or something like that? Not that I'm judging your hobbies- Well, I am judging your hobbies. It's just that they're very simple. I'm not trying to be offensive or anything of the sort." Ophelia glanced at him, squinting slightly. He appeared to be rather content, so she decided not to press on.

"Anywho. My hobbies? Well, I enjoy drawing and reading literature. Chatting is another one of my favorite things to do, if you haven't noticed already. Hm, what else? I believe fashion is a hobby, since I do spend most of my mornings planning which is another favorite~" The woman cooed and placed a hand on her cheek. Ophelia could just go on and on about herself, but she was merciful today and spared Daiki. "Moving on! Since you are a legal mage, what sort of magic do you use?"
