Ronrex V.S Kaseki

Age walks into the Arena looks around and says here shall be a fine place to do battle Age then walks to the middle of the arena to wait for his opponent to show there selves. As Age waits he begins to get hungry so Age walks to the wall and grabs a torch off the wall and starts eating it after eating 8 more torches Age walks back to the middle to the arena sits and waits.

"Hmph, petty human, you challenge me?" Said Kodai. "You shall be a fun toy." Kodai held his favorited and cursed blade, Khaos, in his hand. He looked around and saw the water the streamed from around his arena. He saw the flow, the rivers of his aqua at his disposal.

"So, you wish to fight? For what reason? I had, nor Kaseki, had any reason to bother you. As far as I'm concerned, you're just another Legal mage looking for a fight. You probably aren't even the hero you think you are. Pityful, there is always corruption in the heroes, isn't there?" Kaseki knew the man to be of Fairy Tail, he learned all the faces of the "heroes" when he was once a Lamia mage. However, Kodai held a bitter feeling to them all. He only saw corruption.

"Kodai, I don't think we should fight him." said Kaseki in his mind. "He started it, I'm going to end it. Kaseki, you control the spells, I'll focus on this sword." thought Kodai. "And I shall wait to use our secret weapon?"

"Yes... we shall save that power for later... heh." Kodai thought to himself. "Although I have the taste for killing one another, why do we stand here? Meaning fighting serves me no purpose. It's simply a waste of energy and time. There's no point to anything at all. He's just another mage trying to prove himself to the world... but why pick on a 'dark mage', if you can even call Kaseki that, that no one has ever heard of? This all is quite... a waste of time." Kodai thought.

Age replied to Kodai statements with "You are rite i have no reason to fight you and i have never called myself a hero this is simply the path i have found myself on for now i am simple filling a role which i have chosen to follow myself, but the reason i wish to fight you is simple its all i now you see Kodai 4 years ago is as far back as my memories go i woke up in a town that was destroyed and burning when i awoke all i saw was death and blood everywhere so death and blood is all now its my core for now but i will never kill why all i saw that day is engraved into my memories that 4 years ago i vowed never to take a life but all i now is war and conflict." After telling Kodai all this Age looks down at the ground and recites the vow he made all those years ago "Blood and war is all i saw one day i will rid this world of blood and war but not cause i wish to be a Hero but because i wish to see a future of infinite possibility!"

The two conversed in their own mind, then begun to speak. Kaseki was first.

"Then tell me, Age was it?" Kaseki said as he begun to pace back and forth. "So if you fight for freeing this world of bloodshed and destruction, why do we stand here? Tell me, as a Fairy Tail mage, why do you come to the arena then? To try to bring piece? Why that seems counter intuitive. And you vowed to never kill, yet you stand in the walls of a deathroom, why?" Kaseki said. His crimson eyes seemed to glow, just as always. Soon he passed his control to the demon that resided within him. His voice grew cold and harsh. Kodai spoke, "You don't deserve to wear your tattoo. You are no better than the 'evil' you think you fight. Think of it. Why do you and I stand here? Simply because you need to prove something to yourself. Look at yourself, you're pathetic. Your fight is not with me, it's with yourself." Kodai spat at the dirt beside him. Kodai sensed the great skill this man had. He knew of his magic. "Hmph." He scoffed willist his mind, "This boy would fight anyone wouldn't he. He just finds the worst excuse to do so."

Kodai looked back up at the mage, carefully noting all of the water that flowed in and out of the place. "So tell me, what is the reason we stand here? I think it's because you simply wish you were someone that you aren't. You come from a legal guild, yet your intentions are that of a dark guild!" he begun to laugh, "So why join the strongest guild in Fiore if you will only fight for yourself, hm?"

Age stood there for a minute looking at Kaseki and finally said "I now you are rite i am being counter intuitive but i wish to fight not cause i like to fight or cause i am part of a legal guild and you part of an illegal guild i stand here in place of boundless blood shed in hopes of asking your intentions for this world cause i hope to find redemption in all who are willing to abandon the path of evil for the path of righteousness we talk here in case our conversation becomes a bit out of hand because if the answer you give me is good enough i will let you leave here and no blood has to be shed but if your answer is not to my liking then i shall have to use all my power i have to stop you." Age looks Kaseki in the eyes.

"You have no idea who I am, do you?" Kaseki asked. Kaseki was the kinder of the two souls that were bound to the single body. Kaseki reached to his left sleeve and ripped it off. Under and odd emblem was shown. It was that of a serpentine woman. "I was once a member of Lamia Scale. They turned my tortured soul into that of a hero. I left for a single reason... and it is a tale that only few mages may tell." He then ripped his right sleeve, bearing a cursed mark. "Then I left, for the guild of Savage Skull. It was not because I am evil, no, that is not the case." The cloak seemed to grow and reshape, patching itself together. "You see, with two souls, there's a lot to consider."

Kaseki stopped pacing to stand still. "Kodai was the reason I left my former home. I wanted to be a great hero. Sadly, Kodai has the thirst for blood, such a thirst I stained the floor of my guild and the walls of the rocks. Because of this soul, known to some as the Destroyer of Death, I had to leave. Although it was in my heart to be a member of the guild of heroes, this other part of me did not belong. So I left, for the sake of the name."

Kaseki began again, once more in his darker tone, "But you see, Kaseki is known to few as the Demon of Life. You see, long ago he was cursed with immortality. He never aged, he watched as his friends die, his family fade away, and the world turn corrupt. He was raised under the wing of Death himself. However Kaseki does not see the world like his father, he sees the opposite. Kaseki sees the good in all people, no matter what past they have. Because of this, he started an alliance between great mages of all guilds. A place where all are accepted for the greater good of Fiore. He fights for the freedom and the dream that one day all mages, despite their views, will one day rise together under one flag." Kodai spoke. He seemed to be ghostly, yet human.

Kaseki continued, "No one is truly evil my friend, everyone can be redeemed. But you see, you know nothing about me, so in your defense, your practice to uphold your own reputation you brought me here. So think my friend, am I truly a dark mage, or do I just wear the colors of one? Is bearing a tattoo of your enemy enough for you to go to battle with someone?" He asked,"This is why I am who I am, this is why I am the Keeper of Dragon Fang. The on true 'guild' were heroes of all kinds can fight for the same cause. The cause to bring peace to our lands."

Age looks at Kaseki and says "There is a soul in there worthy of redemption Kaseki you are worthy i will not fight you but if you wish i could try and help you get rid or at least split you soul into two half's or something like that but only if you wish but your answer was that of a selfless person i agree before this fight i did not now you but now i do i long to see the world as you did to see all the goodness in other rite now i cant but i still try and resolve things with out violence." Age turns around and starts walking towards the exit rite before Age leaves he looks back says "Follow what ever path your heart tells you to follow whether that be DEMON or HERO just remember this you are never alone if you ever need help that is not evil i am your man."

Kodai held the blade named Khaos in his hand. He saw the human start to walk away. He seemed to fade off into the distance. Kodai smiled as his opponent left the stadium. The doors closed behind him... and the mage from Fairy Tail, was gone.

Kodai began to laugh. Age brought him to the arena for a battle, and that's what he got. Kodai laughed insanely. His laughter echoed the stadium and made him seem even more insane. "Ha, haha HAHA HAHAAHAHAHA!!" the demon laughed. "He came to fight and we did do battle indeed! Ha! It was not battle of the swords,axes or even arrows, he threw no magic and I cast no ice! Truly a battle of not the body, but the mind..." He dropped his weapon into the dirt. "No no... Not the mind, but the tongue! For it was words that stood this battlefield today. We shed not blood, but conversation! Ho! Tis' a glorious day, for none have fallen today. We both may go as heroes to our homes and lay our heads to bed. Tis' day none have fallen for a noble or unnoble cause! We have both emerged from these flames of battle." Kodai feel to his knees, continuing to laugh. "The pen may be mightier than the sword... but the tongue, the soul... those are mightier that might itself."

Kodai sat in the dirt. His weapon was beside him, unused and practically still clean. The day had ended without a single spell nor swing of a weapon. Both sides had gone home unscathed. It was a day that the victor of this "duel" truly knew he was victorious in his own eyes.
