Lucille sighed as she retrieved the letter from the man for this mission. It was painful for the blood maid to accept this job, having to be a goody goody for once and not kill people. Well, it said she didn’t have to kill anyone, never stated if deaths occurred that she would fail the job. So if she had the true thirst for blood that was going to be obvious she would end up killing someone on this day. The blood maid sighed, walking through Magnolia with a clear purpose. Her conversation with her client was anything but brief, having to go through the schedule and security patterns for the icon. Her name was Maggie Molden, a very famous pop star who had grown up in Magnolia Town herself. Lucille was slightly disgusted at the fact that her client, named Riley Sanderson, had a full detailed plan on how to get the letter to her. Maybe it was the ex-noble’s ideals about love or even just basic human decency in the mind of the Tartarus mage, but she found even being a stalker to someone that you supposedly love disturbing in more ways than one. She knew what she would do later in time, making sure that Riley would never be able to love anyone in the future, as he would be preoccupied six feet under.
As Lucille approached the bar in which Maggie would be playing in, she could hear the music already and slightly groaned. It was annoying and upbeat, just like what she expected, so she would slide through the crowd towards the backstage area. Of course, there were many a guard protecting the area so no rabid fans could get to Maggie without ramifications. Lucille had her ways of passing by though, and thus quickly created a small disturbance by pushing one fan into another. This caused a small fight to occur, which escalated into a full on brawl between the members of the crowd. Many security members rushed to stop the scene, leaving an opening for Lucille to dash past quickly. She managed to get into Maggie’s room, hiding in a dark corner and awaiting the obvious return of the pop superstar.
The blood mage did not have to wait long, as the blonde returned quickly after her concert was ruined by the fight that had been started. She sat on her bed with a sigh, trying to block out the bad memories of the day’s events. Maggie was startled when Lucille came out of the shadows, but the blood mage raised her hands up in surrender in order to show her good faith. She gave the startled blonde pop star the letter from Riley. Maggie took it with hesitance, before opening it and reading its contents. She looked up at Lucille with a frown, to which the ex-noble shrugged at.
“I guess…...I thank you for this letter miss?” The pop star asked confused, to which the blood mage sighed.
“Luann Rodgers.” Lucille lied, but raised an eyebrow when she saw Maggie have a slight blush on her face.
“I thank you miss Luann. I hope we can meet again someday…” Lucille pondered this and nodded, she couldn’t very well dislike the girl just for being famous. That would be rude. The blood mage opened her window and hopped out, leaving the blonde pop star with a love letter and possibly a new crush.
Lucille didn’t know how complicated her life just got.
