Coming closer and closer, the flaming tornado being spun by a 40 pounds great sword swung right into the wrist of the rock giant. The sharp blade ramming into the solid stone with a loud clang as the tungsten steel ripped through the rock. Naraca continued forward, cutting his way through by the continuous spinning that cut layer by layer until it reached the other end.
The massive arm that came in for it's first swing would find it's hand, along with the giant arm that it was holding onto severed and sent flying away from the momentum of the swing. Yet the swing was now only a stump that the golem could swing once, thus saving anyone from getting hit by the make shift club.
As the arm flew off, everyone was able to get into there positions without being impeded or stopped by the club. In other words, no one was injured.
The hand, as well as the golems other arm both flew far into the grassy meadow and thus leaving the golem with a stump on one side, and an arm that ended at the elbow on the other.
Kihia, and everyone else were all able to get to where they needed to go. Kihia taking the lead and piercing the golems back with an ice lance.
Naraca floated dead center in front of the now armless, and now seemingly harmless golem. He know it could regenerate, but for the time being they had a window. So what could he do next? He had to keep this up, so he'd just slice deeper into it, perhaps cut off the bottom section keeping it nailed to the floor.
The golem's glow began to recede and fade. Naraca's eye's narrowed and he flew back slowly a few feet to get a better full look at it's body. Some kind of new attack? Or would it regenerate now? No...It wasn't moving at all. In fact, rubble began to fall from it's body like it's body was made of ash. Was he...Powering down? It couldn't be, over just like that? Naraca considered maybe Zuo realized he was beat, but he quickly pushed that thought away as this was but one spell in the Guild Master's arsenal. If the man wanted to he could use much stronger spells, no there was no way he was surrendering due to thinking his end was inevitable. This had to be another test of some kind, and the test must have now been over.
Just in case he stayed in the air at what was once the golems head height before it started crumbling away. In that time he surveyed everyone in the guild. No one was hurt in any serious way, all just minor cuts and bruises. He smiled at this result, they had gone toe to toe with one of Zuo's high ranking spells and had come out of it only with injuries that children would get when playing in the forest. Everyone did a great job, they all knew what to do and when to do it. He felt proud of them all and was happy he had them on his side in this fight. They all faced a man leagues above them, a spell that was ranks above anything they could come up with, and they won.
He let Zuo fully power down into his human form before he flew back down. The flame around his sword was snuffed out, black smoke coming off of it. Minor burns were on Naraca's knuckles and wrist from the flames but it was nothing serious. The rest of his spells also subsided as he descended to the soft grass.
His feet touched the ground and he slid his great sword back into it's sheathe on his back. He did still keep an eye on Zuo just in case this ended being a lesson about never letting your guard down.
Zuo had said for everyone to be cared for before they would have a little picnic and then hear the point of this test.
He walked up a little closer to Zuo and took a quick look at everyone as he did. He admired how fresh everyone looked, aside from the sweat of battle and few minor cuts and bruises, no one was injured at all.
"I don't think they'll be needing any of that" Naraca scoffed with a smile and a nod of admiration at the result of this battle as he referenced the medical aid.
"You have a guild of strong people on your hands Zuo. They fight like soldiers." He told Zuo whom he figured would understand the meaning of what it meant to say they fought like soldiers.
It wasn't the strength they had, nor the spells or the quick thinking. It was the team work and the determination. None of them were scared, even Ren ended up fighting as well. They all worked together, they all fought together and through that they all won together. No one played a solo game, no one tried to take the spotlight. They all played the rolls that best suited there abilities and they fought there hearts out. Soldier's who fought without fear, and fought together as a single unit.
He was proud to have discovered a group of hearty men and women like those in Lamia Scale.
