1 Vs 100

An overcast of cloud ran across the sky in a dull grey light that came from the sun that was high above yet covered. The flat lighting shone down on Beanstalk village, or at least, what was left of it. The place was completely evacuated. Houses, farms, shops, all empty with most of there stuff still inside due to the sudden cause of this event. Thankfully no one was hurt in the evacuation, despite it's cause being very dangerous. The place was rich with life, it's lush green trees and big farms with long rows of crops. The place, on any other day, would be a wonderful vacation spot.

Yet not in this day...

The place was indeed evacuated, but it was not empty. Roaming the streets and the buildings were walking, talking fruits and vegetables! All of which had heavy, angry eye's and those with mouths carried solid frowns or sinister grins.

Currently hidden within this village was Naraca Breaker. Taking safety within the thin walls of a flower shop he was crouched down behind the counter, the cash register just above his head as he let some odd tomato plants pass him and go out the door.
He held his massive great sword in his right hand and long chain coming from the end of the hilt wrapped around his arm. He wore what he normally wore, a black tank top, dark blue shorts with a sash and side banner around his waist. He was here, and trying to play a stealth game, however stealth was an option becoming thinner and thinner. These things were everywhere, a damn army of em really. Yet they were weak individually, and it was likely he could take them on if he played it smart. He'd have to find a good location though, a good place to make a stand but then keep moving.

Could he do it though? It would be close no doubt, still continue with the stealth game, but if it got too risky, or he was spotted, he'd do his best to end it quick. Yet he had a feeling this all in all would be a long battle ahead of him.

He waited behind the counter, his mission details running through his mind. He had to get rid of all these things and he was only man for the job, a solo mission. He waited for his moment the leave before he'd continue moving and attempt to take out as many as he could.

'Monster Dice' :

As the plants passed him by, with there backs turned Naraca stood up into a crouched position and quickly, but very quietly approached the two tomato plants from behind. They didn't hear anything as everything would only suddenly go dark as large blade would cut across there red, bulbous heads and split them in half. It was messy as tomato juice and fluids spewed everywhere. However he didn't want to take a chance with choking them or hand to hand, he had no idea how tough these things were yet and he had yet to have a chance with really experimenting on one. Yet his sword seemed to do the trick.

Walking out the back of the store, he ran across one that was just outside the door and facing him directly. The only delay of his action being a quick gasp, the man rammed the tip of his sword right through the living vegetable and killed it. He swung his sword behind him so the body with slide off his blade and tumble to the floor.
He crouch walked outside, his back against the wall of the shop as he made his way to end of the wall. Listening carefully to get his bearings on what was around him.
He stayed low and poked his head over the wall, seeing the main street that was just ahead. There was plenty of cover in crops and fence lines were just a little below waist high.

The crops would provide good cover as well, however considered the village was being patrolled by...Well crops, it was safe to assume he couldn't trust the fields. For that matter, he probably couldn't trust the food for that matter.

Some pattering could be heard from behind him. Quickly he turned his head and didn't see anything, however the sound was coming from behind the other side of the wall. He rushed over there in a flash and the moment he saw a tomato head casually walk it's way in his site, he lopped it's head off with a quick swipe of his sword.
A little too close though, he had to stop the momentum of his swing quickly to prevent from hitting the wall of the shop. He didn't want to make any more noise then necessary. After the kill he pulled the body in behind the shop before going back to where he was before.

Scanning his surroundings again with the view he had, he figured his next path would be towards the village church. He had heard about the man who was rumored to have caused this. A Dark Wizard belonging to a dark guild, someone that was likely on a mission himself.

He wasn't sure about it, but if the Dark Wizard was around here then he'd likely be somewhere fortified, the church was the closest place so there was nothing wrong with giving it a try. He could try making one of the living plants talk...If they even talked.
They had eye's and mouths that weren't there before, so why would they have mouths if not for communication? The conjuration type of magic was still mostly unknown to him and he wasn't about to give it any liberty's by assuming the best of it. He'd keep an eye out for a quiet place to perhaps see if they talked. However he wouldn't keep his hopes up on that.

Waiting for an opening in what seemed to be the patrols, he crouched walked towards the waist high fence that surrounded a small field of barren crops. The fence had no openings and was solid wood. He moved along it, listening closely to the sounds of footsteps, or maybe he could call them...Plant steps. They didn't really have feet...
One corn looking monster was walking along the fence as well, looking like it was fixing to cross over. Naraca would help it with that.
He got directly in front of it's path while still hidden behind the cover, shot upwards and grabbed the corn monster by it's head and pulled it in. Slamming it on the ground with a low thud he quickly covered it's mouth and pushed his blade into it's face, cutting it off. It didn't make a sound.

The corn monster seemed stronger then the others...It's body was tough, Naraca found it surprising how much force he actually had to use to kill it. He'd keep it in mind that those things would be the tougher creatures in case he'd have to fight one head on.
He continued to move along the fence line until he reached the end, upon doing so he looked over, seeing the church close by, he just had to cross the street...Yet there were several of them patrolling the street he was looking towards.

How would he get across? The patrols did have significant gaps, however there wasn't much cover to get across. Sadly from a distance he wouldn't blend in well as he was probably the only human being left, him and the dark wizard anyway.
He looked across from him and saw another shop, or perhaps a diner. Waiting for a gap, he made his way over to the diner, looking through one of the windows before jumping in upon seeing it was all clear.
Once inside, he looked at the patrols outside, they wouldn't see him right away but no doubt they would hear this. He walked over to one of the tables and kicked it over, making a loud crash with the contents on the table spilling on the floor.

The tomato and corn monsters all turned over to the source of the sound, to which Naraca had already jumped back out the window. As the monsters walked in to find out what made the sound, he had circled around the shop so that he would be beside the building and facing the road that had the church just across it.
He looked on either side of the road, it was clear for now. He didn't have any time to waste so he ran quickly across the road, the moment he got close to the church he dived forward legs first and slid on his butt across on the ground and laid flat on his back. The monsters in the diner were starting to walk out. He had to be careful here, as the all walked out there bodies were in the direction of the church.

He didn't move at all, he couldn't even really see if they had spotted him, yet they didn't make any particular alerted noises. So he simply stayed laying down until the sounds of them walking around ceased enough for him to turn his head and look up towards the road. There was no one for a moment, so he quickly turned over on his belly and switched the direction he was facing so he could then begin crawling to the back of the church. It was touch crawling with a giant sword in his hand, yet he was able to keep it hidden enough until he crawled to the end of the wall towards the back of the church.

It didn't take long for him to get the church, once in front of the he got up, walked up a few stone steps before reaching the back door. He placed his ear to it to check if their was anyone inside. He thought he could hear something...Yet it didn't sound like a monster.

"Let go of me!" A man's voice protested from the other side of the door. Naraca felt his muscles tense up for a moment, this wasn't good. He was told everyone was successfully evacuated. Obviously that was not the case anymore.
He'd have to get this man out no doubt, in addition to getting rid of these things.
Walking over to one of the windows next to the door he saw a man sitting down with his hands behind his back, probably tied. Dragging him across the floor was two tomato monsters. They were taking him through a hall way that lead to a right and left turn. He waited for them to take the man into the inner halls before he got away from the window and slowly opened the door. His sword lifted a little higher to stab any enemy in front of him.

The door opened and alas, there was no one in the main hall.

Stepping inside, he quickly ducked down and took a left turn, taking cover behind the church pews so he could crouch walk along them as he made his way to the hallway. He heard what sounded like a muffled voice, likely from the man, he must have been gagged in some fashion. Once he got to the wall he kept his back close to it until he'd make it to the entrance of the hallway.
He peeked his head towards the walkway, no signs of anyone ahead.

Would he go right or left?

The man was dragged left, so left then.

Once he got to the end of the hallway, he stayed on the left side of the wall so he could pear over the left hallway. The end of that hallway had doors and windows across it, no doubt the office rooms. The one at far end belonging to the head priest. Hopefully he could restore this place soon...
He could hear the muffled voice still, it had to be coming from somewhere beside the head priests office. He walked closer, however, almost out of no where, he suddenly saw two fat red tomato heads, with sinister orange eye's that turned to look directly at him.

Naraca remained calm, yet deadly, he dashed forward, and instantly thrust the tip of his great sword forward and rammed it right through the head of the first one. His blades sliced through the head, continued forward, and sliced into the head of the second one. Both heads impaled and killed instantly.
He lifted them both up with his one arm then swung it to the side, sliding both bodies off his blade and letting them hit the wall with a low thud.
