The open vacancy of an empty heart

Bliss walked underneath the cool dark shade if the night, stars flickered and hid behind moving gray clouds. Bliss leaned on the hand railing of the upper deck of the Nox airship, he sighed and gazed to the open frontier, the cold high altitude winds sent a pleasant shiver down Bliss' spine. Bliss saw a group of friends in his perifrial vision, he couldn't not hear what the small jolly group was laughing about, but he could make out the words by feeling the the faint vibrations on the string he held...

Bliss took the liberty to weave his web of magical strings throughout the airship, since Bliss was nearly deaf he needed away to understand what people where saying. But it didn't really matter no one spoke to him anyway. The laughs and festivities of his fellow guild members had with one another was a constant reminder to Bliss that he did not belong here, he was just another outcast, another body to send to battle when needed. Bliss didn't mind at all Nox was more of a family than his gentic family members.

Granted, Bliss lived as the lone wolf, the invisible ally. Yet there where times when he too felt the aches and sorrow of solitude, he too longed for companionship perhaps even love.... In his youth Bliss sadly never was loved, his family disowned him due to his weakness, and as a result Bliss became bitter and grew to mistrust others.... But no matter what hatred he felt, no matter his dedication to solitude, Bliss yearned for someone special to occupy the the vacancy if his empty heart.... After all Bliss was nothing more than a mam in search for love and companionship....

It was a nice night, Yuna assumed as she gazed out the window from a bench she sat upon. The stars she could manage to catch glimpses of were twinkling brightly in the sky and night was a type of dark sapphire blue that she had come to love from her constant night watches. Smiling, she moved her gaze to watched her friends laugh and smile as they talked about needless, little things. Things like these were the reason why she remained in Nox Animus long after Rose Garden was over and the reason why this guild had made it into a special place deep in her heart alongside Dragon Fang. Yuna let out a happy sigh. She was truly content with her very short-lived life. She continued to look around the place for no reason at all, until her eyes finally stopped upon Bliss. 'He looks so sad...' Yuna thought sadly. 'Maybe he needs a friend..?' It had been a while since she had talked to the stuffed toy maker of Nox Animus, ever since Rose Garden she assumed.  She hopped to her feet and skipped towards him. "B-Bliss..?" The young fairy timidly asked her fellow guild member and perhaps even friend, "A-Are you okay..?"

Bliss turned to the the girl, of course Bliss could not hear the soft call of Yunas voice, he merely felt the soft vibration of his string when she approached. Bliss silently read her lips, he stared at her blankly or a few seconds, and turned away.

"I am alright you need not to worry.... But... thank you.... thank you for your concern Yuna." Bliss said in a surreal voice as he looked over to the black horizon dotted with stars. In truth Bliss was uncomfortable with Yuna, he didn't like her but at the same time he didn't hate her. Bliss just found it unsettling how everyone adored the girl, how men would chased after her falling head over heels, or the fact that everything was handed to her on a silver plate, Bliss did not like the fact that she basically had do many people wrapped around her fingers. It was also quite irritating that Yuna had no idea what kind of power she had over people, then again this was one of her good points, she was too kind and oblivious to understand that she was able to control and use people.

Bliss watched her from the side of his view. He could see why she was adored, granted she had looks and she was quite kind. But he was not attracted to her, after all Bliss preferred women who where more mentally and physically 'mature'.

"What brings you out here?.... Your fans must he looking for you." Said Bliss as he began to stitch up another stuffed animal due to force of habit. In a matter of seconds Bliss was able to put together a small stuffed bunny toy. Bliss stared at the stuffed animal, he noted that he had no space left in his little camp site down at the engine room for it wad already filled with stuffed animals that he made. Bliss sighed an tossed it to Yuna knowing how much she adored his fluffy creations.

Daemon wandered around the upper deck of the Ship wearing his traditional kimono shooting out for his missing guild mates. "HEY BLISS SONYA ! WHERE ARE YOU? " He shouted loudly  before noticing something shimmering  out of the corner of his eye. Daemon turned to see  a spider's thread  hanging from a concession's stand. Daemon walked over to the stand and sniffed the tread a few times , Daemon soon recognized the scent as blisses and quickly ordered some steamed rice and crunchy pickles and fallowed the thread over to the railings.

Daemon smiled softly seeing both Sonya and Bliss sitting together talking. Daemon walked over and held up two bowls of  steamed rice  with chopsticks for the two new comers  of the guild. You two hungry ? " He said with on of his rare smirks and handed them the bowls of rice and leaned against the railing  looking out at the great wide open frontier  before turning his attention to his own bowl and began to slowly eat his warm food  canceling out the cold  high altitude air. Sadly for the hungry lunar mage his little furry partner wanted to have some of his food. A small wolf pup with lunar tribal markings looked at it's partners whimpering for half which the mage provided by holding up the bowl for the pup to eat half and fed him one of the pickles.

Bliss sighed and took the bowl, and ate it gratefully. Bliss knew it was about time, two people should be able to relay the message.... it was high time to leave.... things just didn't seem right. Bliss came to the conclusion that fighting alone was the best option. He smiled and turned to the two Nox members.

"I am grateful for your kindness, truly the both of you.... but it seems my stay here is overdue, after all I am nothing more than another stowaway." Bliss smiled sweetly. He began to walk away slowly from the two both hands in his pocket. It was fun, this place was nice.... but Bliss thought, people like himself did not belong to the merriment of these group of allies and friends. Bliss knew that his negative behavior, his creepy attitude has driven him away from many people. Being alone was the best way.... after all he was doing was slowing down the team.
