Lets go to the Beach! || Open to ALL Lamia Scale Members

OOC Note: Kihia is wearing a loose fitting sleeveless grey shirt, he left his trench coat and gloves in his dorm, his right arm is still completely covered in bandages and there is no way you can see what his arm is made out of, besides this his attire is the same as it normally is.

Kihia sighed, he wasn’t sure about this whole situation. He stood by the stairs that led down to the beach, with an expressionless face gazing at the water. Kihia had never been on a beach before and he wasn’t particularly like the idea that his right arm might be exposed. Kihia sighed and slowly started walking towards the area Kariline had arranged, This will…be an interesting experience… He stopped for a moment when he came to a realization…he had no idea on how to swim.

Kihia stood there for a moment his right eye brow twitching with the embarrassing thought, after a moment he started walking again, Kihia adjusted where Icarus was resting on his right shoulder, and decided to try and set up a small spot on the boundary of the reserved area away from the water. He formed a lawn chair out of ice and sat down on it, and set up an umbrella he got from a stand by the beach so he would be out of the sun…and hopefully out of sight.

Ah the beach. Such a cool, calm, serene place to visit. Cyrus had ditched his normal heavy white attire, instead donning a more casual pair of white swimming trunks for this occasion. Looking around he noticed that Kari had really outdone herself. Walking to a table with several fruits laid upon in, he took a piece of watermelon. As the fruits name implied, it had high water contents, roughy made up of 92% water. Despite it seeming odd that the mage would know things like this, it all was due to his magic. Cloud-Make magic relied on drawing water from the users own body, so it was important for him to maintain a hydrated state, else he would be left without the ability to perform magic. His eye managed to catch sight of Kihia who was here as well. He was about to approach the ice mage when he felt intense churning in his stomach.

Dang, that watermelon wasn't enough, he thought to himself. It made sense. He and the Venti were doing some intense training earlier, to an extent that even the semi-experienced cloud-make mage ended up losing a lot of water. Running to the Ocean like a madman, he dove in. He sighed in relief as his body took in the water to accommodate for the liquids he had lost. Speaking of the Venti, where is that guy? he thought to himself. While Cyrus was getting ready, his mentors had told him that they would just head to the beach without him, but the mage hadn't seen them yet. This fact was quickly changed when he surfaced for air, noticing two little spirits floating around on their backs. With Vulturnus's puffy pants he wuold have looked ridiculous if not for the fact that they were invisible to others.

Hey kid! added Vulturnus, I see you're enjoying the Ocean too.

Yup, answered the mage. Well at least there was one thing the two of them could agree on. Water was a lovely thing.

Quincy walked up completely embarrassed. "This is stupid!" She stepped out from behind a rock wearing a full rubber scuba outfit, minus the gear. She loved the water, but her electric abilities would electrocute all of the members of the guild if she entered the water with any of them in it. She looked around and pouted with her arms crossed. She went towards the table of food and ate a couple of pieces of watermelon with all the spite in the world. She looked around to see who all was there already, which she could only make out Kariline, Kihia and Cyrus. At the look of Cyrus, Quincy got an evil plan to pull a prank on on Kihia.

She skipped her way to Cyrus with a big cheesy smile on her face "Hey wanna make a bet? The first person who can throw Kihia over there into the water. If I win you go on a date with me." She got an evil idea because she knew that she was going to win a free meal and get a good laugh.

Kaseki emerged from the water. He seemed to walk through it, like he waited for everyone to arrive. "Oh, look at these people!!" Kaseki walked onto the warm sandy beach still in his full cloak. He looked around and saw the Lamia Scale guild members. He turned to Kari and bowed. "Thank you for having me. This is my first time out of the marble halls." He smiled from under his hood.

She glanced around with her hands on her hips, admiring her good work, and seen a few of her friends pile in. A few of them caught her attention. Such as Quinn as she came around with a full rubber suit on, it was adorable really and Kariline snickered. Quinn ate a few fruits then walked over to Cyrus, and said a few words. She wasn't able to make out more the the word 'Kihia'. She looked around and seen a few pale limbs peeking out from behind an umbrella. Kari slipped off her sandals and ran through the sand.

She slowed down and came to a stop as she looked around his umbrella. He didn't have his trench coat on so you could see his bandages. While they were not new to her, she still was curious about why he hand them on. "Hey Ki, What are you doing over here?" She said with a smile. A few months ago, Kari was rather uptight, and refused to smile, but now, she had made friends, and her story came out. She was able to relax and depend on these people. " We are supposed to be having fun!" She gently tugged on his arm, the one that was not bandaged. She wanted him to dome and talk to everyone, perhaps get some meat cooking, and tell stories.

Then suddenly a figure came up to her, it was claked and rather frieghtning. She just furrowed her brows, did he really have to appear like that all the time, " No problem Kaseki, enjoy yourself."

Kihia jumped a bit when Kariline had come around his umbrella, I may have unintentionally have drawn attention to myself… Kihia sighed, and responded to Kariline’s first question with an excuse, “I am…just keeping watch over here….to...make sure everyone is safe…” he had said this will a very faint hint of nervousness in his voice. When Kariline started gently tugging his left arm, his chair slid out from underneath his hiding spot, …Traitorous chair… Kihia sat in the chair as it slid, “We are supposed to be having fun!” Kihia sighed after she said that, …I don’t know what to do with this…situation…I may…go with the…flow of things…but… I will…avoid being pulled into...going swimming….no matter what… Kihia slowly got up and rest Icarus onto his right shoulder, “Alright…I guess…I’ll…come over for a bit…”

Kaseki watched the two. He was still new to interactions and found that he only had one friend within his guild. "Hello Kihia..." he said.

Kaseki hated hot weather, but as a plant, found it an opportunity to feed.

"Why don't we cook in this heat?" he suggested.

Lilyan was very excited about Kariline's wonderful idea, she hadn't gone to the beach since a long time ago and she was even more excited because it was with the guild. When she arrived, she was wearing her swimming suit under her normal clothes, she was a bit embarrassed about that, her friends hadn't seen her in swimming suit, even do, she was going to get wet after all. She saw  Kariline, Kihia and a member she hand't met, he was wearing a complete cloak, he was probably very hot with all that clothes on. She went directly with that group. "Hi" She smiled at the three mages. "I think we haven't met yet, I'm Lilyan" Said to Kaseki. "But you can call me Lily, I actually prefer it"

A few other people had arrived to the beach. Kihia had shown up, and despite his attempts to hide himself, Kari had dragged him into the party. Then there was Kaseki. A new member of the guild, and an odd one, Cyrus was interested in getting to know this mage. Then there was Quincy. The two had never met in person, but Cyrus had heard that she was on the same team as Kihia and Kari. Then it appeared that Lily had arrived, one of Cyrus's own teammates. This would certainly be an interesting party.

While laying in the water, he looked up as Quincy walked to him. She looked odd in her rubber suit, although the white-haired mage preferred that the electricity based mage wore that over shocking him when she got into the water. "Hey wanna make a bet? The first person who can throw Kihia over there into the water. If I win you go on a date with me," she asked.

A date? What's that? he asked Vulturnus. He wasn't sure about this, especially considering that he didn't necessarily want to make Kihia upset. Perhaps Vulturnus would provide some insight.

His bald little friend looked at him, then to Quincy, then back to him, eyes wide. By god Cyrus, he responded, accept it. Accept the bet Cyrus.

Cyrus was miffed that the spirit didn't answer his question, but he followed his advice anyways. "Alright then Lady Quincy, I accept," he responded. It then occurred to him that he needed to come up with his prize if he won, "But if I win, then you owe me 7,000 jewels." Cyrus had been down on his luck recently when it came to personal funds,  as his training had interfered with his ability to do jobs. The money would help him if he won.

After close consideration she spoke "Hmmmm, Challenge accepted." She got an evil grin on her face as she started towards Kihia who just so happened to stand up because he was talking to Kari. This was perfect. Her slow pace turned into a full blown sprint across the sandy landscape into a full born air dash tackle on Kihia yelling "Come here you meal ticket get in the water!" Just blunt and honest in her intentions as always. She hoped she was strong enough overpower the ice mage as quickly as she could.

Kaseki bowed to the girl. "Hello Lily, I am Kaseki. I'm sure you're wondering why I wear m cloak..." Kaseki placed Khaos, his weapon, down on the sand and pulled his left sleeve up. His arm was wooden, it appeared to be at least. "I'm just a large plant, if you will. The heat bothers me none. In fact, it feeds me." He smiled.

He turned to hear the commotion about throwing someone in the ocean.

Kihia’s right eyebrow twitched as he saw Quincy charging toward him full speed, Please don’t tell me she is going to try…. Kihia’s fears were justified when she yelled “Come here you Meal Ticket get in the water!” Kihia’s right eyebrow twitched once more before he started to counter Quincy’s charge. He threw Icarus up into the air, and side stepped meanwhile grabbing Quincy’s left arm. Using Quincy’s own momentum to spin around and throw her towards the water.

Kihia watched as she flew towards the water head first, and then he looked up at Icarus which was now falling back down. He caught it and then casually rested it back on his right shoulder. “I am sorry….I don’t know what came over me just now…” he had said this with a faint nervous undertone. Kihia then gave a piercing glance over the direction where Quincy had come from. He saw Cyrus standing over there and simply gave him a piercing glance before watching what happened to Quincy.

Another member had walked up the already growing group. It was Lillyan. Kari just put her hands behind her back and smiled. This was nice, members meeting each other for the first time, and getting to know each other some more. She was about to walk away with Kihia to start cooking, It was one of her weird talents, the ability to cook. Which was surprising cause as a child she didn't learn how to cook. It was actually training with Alexander that had done that.

But then out of the blue, Quinn had barreled up and sprinted towards Kihia. She was going to pounce; Kari knew that look in her face and she turned to try and warn Kihia, but it was too late. Quinn was just about on him when he threw his pole staff in the air and grabbed Quinn's arm to swing her around as a counter. Kari just grinned and walked away, " Come on Kihia, " She said waving him along as her hair swayed. The sun was already lowering, as it was close to 5 o clock already, time for dinner. She had brought a variety of meat and planned on having members prepare their own combinations.

As she neared the fire pit she had dug earlier, Kari's wrist burned a red color and then from the burning black smoke, Ukobach appeared from the smoke, like a flame ignited. His body was cloaked in flame as he was an ethereal being. " Can i get you to light that?" she said pointing to the firewood that she set in there. The demon nodded and opened his mouth where hot flames erupted, barreling past his own fangs. The wood caught fire instantly from his heat. Then he disappeared as she sent him back. Ukobach was her first contract and he was the only demon she didn't have to be mean towards. Her other contracts, she had to be assertive so they wouldn't turn on her. Ukobach was not like that.

She set out platters of peppers, fruits, meats and skewers. " Come get supper! " She said while also bringing out a cake. She didn't care for sweets, but she knew that others did. With her hands on her hips she faced Kihia and smiled. Hard work but all this was worth it.

When Kaseki answered Lilyan, she was quiet impressed. He had easily answered all questions Lilyan had with not even knowing she had theme, it was amazing. Besides that, his weapon was much creeper than Kihia's weapon the first time Lilyan saw it, he looked powerful. But the most strange, amazing or even stunning part, was when she looked at her arm. "I'm just a large plant, if you will. The heat bothers me none. In fact, it feeds me." He was a three, nothing but a plant, that surly was strange to find.
Lilyan saw when Kihia countered Quincy, she didn't see why or what happened before, she just saw the counter attack. It seemed Quincy was trying to play a prank to Kihia. "What was that?" She looked at Kihia and tried to understand the situation. Then she remembered she hadn't being with Cyrus since she got there, that wasn't actually much. She excused her new friend and ran towards Cyrus. "Hey Cyrus" She jumped towards his friend and hugged him. "Hi, i just arrived. How have you been?"

Cyrus's plan had all gone along swimmingly. His Cloud-Make: Distraction had been set up correctly and he had snuck behind his superior, Kihia. He drew the Big Cutter and snuck up behind the ice mage. He raised his sword, preparing to strike Kihia with the end of the hilt. I apologize, Sir Kihia, but the only way for me to win the bet is to knock you out. Please forgive me, he thought as he began to brought the sword down, but when he was 1 inch above his friends head---

"Hi, i just arrived. How have you been?" he heard. Stopping short of his target, he looked over to see Lily embracing his cloudy clone. He silently sheathed his sword and inconspicuously walked past Kihia. Of course everyone would be suspicious of the clone. He had to explain it away.

As Lily hugged the spell, it began to dissipate into the air. Cyrus laughed as he walked to his teammate. "My apologies Lady Lily," he said, putting his hand on the girl's shoulder, "just practicing a spell." That seemed like a reasonable excuse. He needed to make sure that Kihia didn't suspect anything of him.

Maria had been jogging around the place when she heard some commotion. She neared the place only to discover a group of people having what looked like to be a party. "Hello..." She introduced herself the her new fellow guild members, "I'm Maria... It's a pleasure to meet you." she shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot as she was shy around new people. She scanned the lot only to spot her father talking to some people. "Daaaaaaad!!" She called towards Kaseki before she tackled him in a hug, "What's up?? I haven't seen you in a while."

Quincy screamed as she was flung through the air. Kihia was most definitely a strong enough person to send her flying this far. This only gave her more of a reason to get him under the water. She saw Cyrus standing near Kihia and saw his spell dissipate. Her face filled with rage. It was her bet to win! She came sprinting out of the water at Kihia screaming "I said get in the damned water!" And again with the same flying tactic at him. She was set in her ways of getting him in the water.

Kariline was simply preparing her skewer full of delectably tasting food when Quinn came out of nowhere with a flying kick. What the hell was going on, surely Kihia would get in the water when he felt like it. Annoyed, Kari just sat in front of the fire in a chair she brought down and set her skewer up so her meat would cook. People were still filing in, this was going to be a great night. " Quinn, quit being a nuisance and come get some food. " She said while she stared at the horizon. She knew Quinn would be hungry, because she is always hungry.

just because it was her favorite, Kari also had brought a fully stocked cooler with alcohol, and the mage really loved her booze. Already digging into it she brought out a cream flavored vodka. She didn't pour it in anything, just took the bottle and sat back down.

Kihia’s eyebrow twitched when he saw Cyrus walk from behind him to greet Lily, who had tackled his cloud clone, He seems to be trying to aid Quincy…. Kihia quietly started to walk up to Cyrus when he heard Quincy running toward him. Kihia’s right eyebrow twitched again, I didn’t want to have to do this but… Kihia dashed next to Cyrus placing one end of Icarus at his feet, and then caught Quincy with his left hand and maneuvered the other end of Icarus next to her. “Spend some time to think about what you are trying to do…then ask me kindly to unfreeze you…” After Kihia said this he sent a surge of his magical power into Icarus freezing Cyrus’s feet to the ground, and freezing Quincy nearly solid.

Kihia nodded at this satisfied that this will keep them off his back for a while. Kihia then lifted Icarus back onto his right shoulder and walked over to where Kariline was. She was in the process of finishing the food. After a moment Kihia sat down and said, “Kariline the food smells wonderful.” Kihia stopped an thought for a moment, his face turning grim remembering something that he and a few others had experienced a few days back, “Kariline, I have something urgent to report to you…”

OOC: Note, the ice on Cyrus's feet extends ten feet below the sand, and as for Quincy, her head is the only thing not frozen

Kaseki stared at his daughter. "Maria, why I should teach you a thing or two about entrances, why when I was your age..." "Father, do you even remember?" Maria had asked Kaseki. "You're a millennium old spirit. Literally a spirit. You're barely the human you once were, hmph, maybe I could seal you into a spell..." Kaseki turned to his kin. "No no no no no! No sealing! Your family did that once before... Let's not go over that, you know how I feel about literature."

Kaseki nudged his daughter towards the others "Go on, child. Make some friends."

Lilyan saw the clone disappear in mid wait, she felt very dumb. She graved her head and smiled. "I didn't notice" She was kind of laughing of herself because of that. She quickly forgot about that and jumped again towards Cyrus, this time, it was the real one. "Hey, I haven't seen you in a whi..." She was about to say while when she was interrupted by Kihia. Lilyan didn't know what was going on, but he froze Cyrus and Quincy, both were frozen but Quincy was nearly completely frozen and was much more that Cyrus. She smiled and ran with Kazeki. "See ya guys"
She arrived with Kazeki. Just before saying something, she heard a word that almost paralyzed her. "Daaaaaaad" A girl she hadn't seen before appeared and jumped in Kazeki, she couldn't belive it... Was Kazeki actually his father?
"Hi, im Lilyan" Said towards the new girl after hearing what she just talked about with her father, she really didn't understood many of those things, but that didn't matter.

"Hello Lilyan, I'm Maria." Maria grinned at the girl. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Out of habit, she stuck out her hand for a handshake. Always the polite and formal one she was, the opposite of her childish father. The girl appeared to be nice and just around her age. Hopefully, she would make a friend. "I hope we can be friends." She added a bit shyly. She was always nervous when meeting new people.

It was funny to think about, but the sand on a beach was very different under foot then the sand in a desert. As Kaligos walked onto the beach he felt the cool hit of the sun and underfoot he felt the soft grains of the beach sand. Kaligos didn't wear much on an average day, usually just his vest, and torn up jeans, but this time there was even less clothing. Kaligos's caramell skin tone, and abbs were shown off as he walked around the beach in just a pair of swim trunks. His blue hair was tied back into a messy pony tail and as he walked through the beach he could breath clearly. 

It had taken a while for his nose to actually clear up, but once it had, he had gotten used to the smell of salt water, mixing in with everything, and could now once again recognize a person just by their smell alone. along his left upper arm was the lamia scale serpent in a light green that marked him as a member of the guild. It had unfortunately replaced his fairy tail tattoo which had been in the same place and color. The guild was of course being ramboncious, but Kaligos was still trying to avoid that. As much as he wanted to feel that these were like his family, he was still new here, and he was partly afraid that some eyed him with suspicion.

That said, the earth dragon slayer, was quick to gather up a bucket and a shovel, as well as a few water bottles from the beach. Walking back and forth from the ocean he started work on a sand castle, all the while humming and happy. "Making my dinner, making my dinner." He hummed lightly, the best part of the beach, was the food, and all the different ways he could style it, and craft it.

Lilyan heard Maria from one word to another. She was happy to make a new friend. She returned the handshake. “I hope we can be friends” She noticed her a bit shy, but there was no reason for that and she was going to prove it. “Sure we will” She added to the conversation with a smile, hopping she would do the same. By the time, she had forgotten about Cyrus and Quincy, they had been frozen for a while. Then she heard someone maybe singing a song: "Making my dinner, making my dinner.” She didn’t know what that was. “Hey, who is singing? Or... making his dinner” Asked to her knew friend.
