Personality: If Vash's personality could be summed up in one word, it is, evil. He kills whatever he feels like killing, and does what he wants to do. Vash is sadistic and loves hurting others. Around people, he is usually relaxed, and will chat with them, but that does not mean he would like that person. What most people consider friends, Vash considers associates, as he never gets too close to anyone emotionally. It is because of this that Vash would not hesitate to kill an associate if he felt it was necessary. Vash will follow a leader, but he will not always listen to them, and if he feels they are doing a horrible job at leading, Vash will try to kill them. If he feels that someone is trying to boss him around too much, he will just try to kill them. Vash is a person that never breaks his promises, because he sees them as challenges to pass, and Vash never backs down from a challenge. No matter how evil Vash is, he will do any job he feels like doing, whether it is helping the rune knights, or protecting someone, simply because Vash always wants to get something done, and if there is nothing evil to do, he will settle with being good for a day or two. When it comes down to business, Vash is very negotiable, but if he feels that he is being cheeted in any deal, he will unleash havoc, and take what he deserves, even if it means killing. Vash highly supports vengeance, and if someone does something to him he feels is offensive, he will get them back, and he does not mind doing so in very gruesome ways. regardless of how bad he is, Vash is a very religious person, and prays to the gods of Earthland everyday, hoping they will bestow upon him the power he needs to defeat his enemies. Whenever he kills, Vash prays to the gods to have mercy on his enemies, as he believes that after a person dies, they should not be further punished, and instead should rest in there days of death.

When in battle, Vash is as harsh as they come. He attacks his opponents savagely, doing whatever he deems necessary to kill them. He does not exactly go head on, however, as he will attempt to plan a strategy. After every battle, Vash labels his enemies strength, going from 1-10, and will only call for an 11 if his enemy has managed to deal very severe wounds to him. If he were to die in battle however, his last words would be, "12". No matter his opponent, Vash would never back down from a battle, and will keep going until he wins, loses consciousness, or dies. When following a leader in battle, Vash will do as he is told, but will instantly go rouge if he feels the leader his not very good at his job, and after the battle, will even pick a fight with the leader, calling out his lack of leadership. When leading people, Vash accordingly tells them what to do, and if he feels he is not doing a good job, he will command someone else to be the leader.

- Weaklings: Vash detests anyone who cannot defend themselves. He has no problem disposing of them.

- Wrath of the gods: As much as Vash loves the gods, he fears that they will one day take it upon themselves to annihilate him for his evil deeds.
