Name: The Small Shooters
Rank: Weak
Type: Crossbows
Description:
Strengths:
-range: the bolts fly a distance of 15 feet before dropping in altitude, but the crossbows themselves can be used as handy, albeit ineffective, melee weapons
-multi-shot: these specially designed crossbows, made by the same people who make the big cutter, can fire four bolts at a time
-dual wield: Cyrus can use two of these weapons at any given moment.
Weaknesses:
-ammo: Each quiver carries only 12 bolts, meaning, if fully loaded, the crossbows can only fire 3 times each.
-reloading: Cyrus can reload these weapons fairly quickly, but it takes about 3 seconds to reload, regardless of how many bolts he loads in. He can't reload while dual wielding, so he must put one away, reload the other, then put that one away, and reload the second, then draw the first one. This process can take up to 10 seconds to complete
-aim: when only wielding one he can aim and has normal accuracy, but when wielding both crossbows he can't aim, and would not be able to hit fast moving targets
-power: the bolts are small and deal less damage then would be expected. Two bolts is equivalent to damage equal to the user's rank. One bolt is a single rank lower than the user. Thus, four bolts equals twice the normal damage, but four bolts can only be fired 3 times.
-hard to replace: although they are technically replaceable, they are quite expensive. If both are destroyed, then for the next job Cyrus would only be able to use one due to not being able to buy two for financial reasons. The next job, however, he would have both once again.
-of the mark: the bolts are small and can be easily blocked, dodged, or diverted through the opponents use of spells or equipment.
