 Fearless, courageous, and merciless Sawada is only when it comes to fighting battles. Yet Sawada is a very friendly and supporting guy who is willing to support and protect his loved ones at all costs. Sawada has even stated he is willing to give up his life to protect. When it comes to new people Sawada is not good around them because most of the time he spends is with him self. At times when he is alone he is off advancing his magic abilities in which he is very dedicated to his skills and plans to become one of the strongest. But if he is not typically found engaged in his training he will be found wandering and/or trading to become a stronger mage. His time is also spent looking at old spell books and searching for rare items such as spirit keys.
Sawada also is a very intelligent guy among others. He does not typically like to be wrong and can't handle people who treat life as if it were about themselves. He is very prone to following orders as received but loves to modify them to his liking. It is very rare to find him so angered at the certain things like annoying people or people not doing thing in a his way. He feels he needs to make friends with those who hold the same high standards he does. Wants to stand out as someone at the top of his class and be admired by others. He needs to feel in control which makes it difficult to give of himself to another person. He puts a lot of effort in his friends because he knows that without them he would go completely insane and unleash his ghoul nature. Sometimes if left with nothing to do he is challenging other mages to improve himself.
