The Meeting. [Private; Zenshin - Kyll - Ask to join]

Kyll walked down the streets. "Hmm... I wonder why he decided to stay in Era of all places." Kyll put a hand through her black bangs and smiled as she looked at the address on a piece of paper. Kyll really appreciated the message from Zenshin inviting her to meet a really close friend. "Erol could you find this address for me?" Kyll usually knew that Zenshin kept most of his things to himself, but this was the first where Kyll was suspicious about what this friend really was. She walked down the streets and followed the owl as it screeched leading her to where she needed to go. Then she stopped. Kyll stood in front of the door as her owl circled over head. She balled her hand into a fist and reached up to knock on the door. The door was blue. A rather lighter shade then she had imagined. Kyll shook her head. The closed eyes mage smiled as she finally knocked on the door. Her eagle owl hooted and landed on a window sill looking inside the house.

Kyll waited for the door to open, where Zenshin's 'friend' could see the adult woman with her normal black body suit on. Over the suit she wore her Midi influenced clothes. Her blue and white kimono top was sleevelsss and carried a single embroidered sakura flower on the shoulder. She wore a pair of white knee high boots and the same white gloves. Kyll had no idea that Zenshin had set up a reunion for her or the person she was about to meet. The closed eyes mage could smell the cookies in the living room. "I know this is weird, Erol, but whoever Zenshin invited me to see has already impressed me with this sweet smell," Kyll said with a giggle.

Zenshin was in his study after inviting some people over to his home in Era. Probably not the best place for Sparrow to give him a house in, since it was pretty much rubble every other week, but it had to do temporarily. Iana didn't have many friends whose name didn't rhyme with ooze or Sean. Dragons share the universal weak point of a very sharp object puncturing their head and have magically enhanced scales that make them far more durable than any other known monster or creature... he began writing, drawing on his personal experience with dragons before beginning to work on his sketch of what the skeletal system of one looked like, as well as checking the clock on the wall. He had been at this all night, he needed a break. With a defeated sigh, Zen backed off from his wooden desk that had papers organized in neat piles and dragon bones at the edge if the desk.

As soon as he left the study, he saw that the entire house looked clean and polished with Iana sitting on their white leather couch, exhausted. There were cookies on the coffee table as well as glasses of warm milk. She was as clean as the house. Must really want to make a good impression to my few friends... he thought before walking up from behind the couch and quickly pecking a kiss on her cheek before telling her, "You did a really good job, but you shouldn't be exerting yourself so much. This house is practically sterile after what you did to the place". After that quick thought, he went to open the door for Kyll and her pet owl. The most smart talking creature he'd ever met in his life. "Come on in Kyll. But take off your boots, I don't need your rain boots messing up the hard work of the friend I mentioned." he told his cousin, pointing to a small wooden shoe rack by the door. "Kyll. I want to introduce you to Iana. My fiancee" he said gesturing towards the exhausted woman on the couch as grandly as he could.

The door opened and Kyll was greeted by Zenshin explaining for to take off her 'dirty rain boots.' Kyll looked down at her boots and tilted her head. They were always bleach white unless she was on a mission or hunting. Kyll side as she did the awkward pose of pulling off her boots while hopping on one foot, then pulling off the other. He must know that I hate these stunts. Kyll thought while she pulled off her left shoe. She put the shoes neatly beside the door. Her feet were covered with a shoe like design. "I know what you're thinking. Shoes in shoes... However, the soles in my training suit were so thin, my feet wouldn't get comfortable."

Then she looked up and saw her, Iana. Kyll raised an eyebrow and looked at Iana. With a warm aura, Kyll reached out and shook Iana's hand gently. "Zenshin... I believe we already met before," Kyll said as she walked forward. Kyll closed her eyes and smiled putting her hands in front of her. She bowed and then leaned back. "It is good to meet you again, Iana." Her hair moved out of the way revealing the eclipse soul tattoo on the back of her neck. "So you are having a child out of wedlock." Kyll teased towards Zenshin and she put a hand over her mouth. "That's so very next generation of you." Kyll giggled.

The eagle out, on the other hand poked, his head in. Lowly humans have no proper place for me to roost. I have no clue why I bother coming with my servant. You, the owl paused and looked at Zenshin. Tell my servant I wish to return to the Phoenix Mountains. Better yet, make me a place to rest so I do not make my servant mad if I destroy any of the furniture.

Kyll smiled and looked at Erol. "This is my messenger owl. Erol. He's been acting a little spoiled lately." Kyll said petting the owl on the head. "I have no clue how he homes in on mages, but apparently he can find them anywhere with in this realm."

Hmph! You have no knowledge of my abilities, Servant. Just like the ignorant little fool you are. The owl replied. To Iana and Kyll they only heard hoots and hoo's. "And that is not my name, Servant.

Punctuality had always been Marick's strong point but on this day he was surprisingly running a little late due to his new-found commitment to his swordplay. With his Solitaire magic having been revoked the former card mage now had no way of using his vast magical energy and so he had resorted to training with his new weapon regularly so that he could still help Sabertooth where he could. Unfortunately his training today had caused him to lose track of time. Now Marick was rushing to get to the location Zenshin had given him, cursing his bad manners on such an important day for his friend and guildmaster.

Thankfully it seemed he wasn't too far behind another guest as the door to the apartment closed just as he turned the corner. With a small sigh of relief the Sabertooth mage walked up to the door and gave it an unintentionally loud knock.

"You have? Hm, I don't remember. Though I still can't believe that you still wear so many layers of clothing, do you not get hot?" he said before hearing another knock on the door. Following that, he opened it and let the newest guest in, Marick, his only ace at the time, and shut the door behind him. "Put your shoes on the rack Marick, oh, and meet Iana, my fiancee" he said as he pointed to her. "And Kyll, my cousin. Daughter of my uncle" he continued, recreating a rolled up "Sorcerer's Weekly" and wacking the owl that hovered in mid air. "Keep whining for a place to rest EROL and I will smack you so hard that you'll think that your name is Erol. Okay?" Zen said calmly to the annoyance in the room before snapping his fingers on his new arm made from melted dragon scales and fire lacrima. After he did, a leather gauntlet appeared on Kyll's arm. "Hold out your arm, it's for Erol to rest on so he doesn't destroy my furniture with his big, meaty, talons. Think of it as a gift from a family member" Zen told his cousin before walking over to the coffee table and taking a cookie from the plate and taking a bite into it. He then walked behind the table and sat on his couch next to his exhausted future wife and looked at the two guests. "Looks like everyone is here. Oh, if you want to hear how I lost this arm, have I got the story for you"
