Personality: Much of Suoh's personality is quite predictable given his incredibly showy exterior. He holds a high amount of pride in himself and tends to look down on others who are not like him in terms of looks and wealth, considering himself to be above many regardless of their rank and position. While not completely narcissistic nor selfish, he can come off as somewhat egotistic and a bit unfriendly to strangers or first-time observers...initially anyway. He rarely shows signs of anger and has a lot of self-control, speaking calmly if not in a snarky manner to mostly everyone around him as he prefers not to get too emotional over small things. He does hide a more generous and loving side of himself due to trust issues and does not want to be looked down upon, given his present situation; his insecurity and uncertainty of his future are the prime reasons why he takes on a very bold appearance and attitude. He tries to restrain himself from showing that he's all lovey-dovey, but he will eventually show it time to time once he feels that he can be trusted and respected to do so. Considering that he joining an infamous guild completely full of jerks with hearts of gold, it more so enforces his mindset.

Suoh keeps most of his showy attitude in battles, more or less to try and intimidate opponents into believing that he is a lot stronger than he really is. Most of the time in battles, Suoh will display unusual calmness and focus in battle so as not to end up screwing up because of an emotional outburst and is not prone to flipping his head even when shit hits the fan. He is incredibly sneaky and very deceiving in combat, toying with his opponents and wasting time with them through practicality and annoying mind games to confuse his enemies before taking any openings to strike them down. He is definitely not above foul play and will be more than willing to dish out 'cheap/unsportsmanlike' moves or tactics in order to win or achieve his goals. To him, it's reason before honor, considering the latter to be a death wish and meaningless in a life-or-death situation. Nevertheless, part of his true personality also shines when he engages his foes with comrades. Even if he's a bit selfish, Suoh will not let his nakama take dangerous risks or be in harm's way if he could do something about it, so as long as the risk isn't death.

Like many others, Suoh's not exactly the leader-type. He feels its too much of a burden and that too much responsibility and stress on someone not capable would be counter-effective on oneself and their comrades. That's why the card-wielding mage prefers to be self-reliant and a good teammate so he does not have to play that role nor would he have to worry about the lack of a leader. Not to say that he can't lead, he just doesn't do well under pressure and burdens.

Likes:

• Money/Wealth - this has got to be a dead giveaway given his past and the way he looks.
  
• Appreciation - despite looking like the typical arrogant rich guy, Suoh does show a bit of good will from time to time as he likes to be appreciated, thanked, and admired all while knowing he is helping others.
  
• Power - he likes the feeling of being strong and craves to be stronger to make up for his weaknesses.
  
• Trust - he doesn't like being the thorn on anyone he considers an ally, and prefers to keep relationships steady and agreeable so no one would end up backstabbing him.
  

Dislikes:

• Being toyed with - he likes messing around with others, but hates being outsmarted and outplayed.
  
• Poverty - he tends to stay away from anyone or anything that is considered dirt to him.
  
• Magic Cursing - mages that can create and use curses at will gives him bad memories and he will show a good amount of prejudice when he is around one.
  
• Defeat - like most mages from a certain guild, he is not the kind who would surrender easily, despite his calm and focused demeanor.
  
• Alcohol - aside from fine wine, liquor is not his thing.
  

Motivations:

• Re-obtaining his former glory - Suoh was once a much more powerful mage until he was cursed and reduced to a weak D-rank mage (would've even been considered E-rank if that even exists). He is currently working his way back up to full strength.
  
• Revenge - once he gets his hands on the folks that took away much of his pride and power, they're going to die.
  
• Money - he's a greedy person and he wants to be the richest person alive.
  
• Adventure - he seeks to keep himself entertained and what better way to do that than joining the most rowdy guild in existence?
  

Fears:

• Becoming a bum - he's all about wealth and power and he's afraid of losing all of that and end up becoming one with the homelesss.
  
• Being forever alone - despite his showy exterior, he's a bit insecure and unsure of himself and wants to make friends so that he feels he belongs somewhere.
  
• Death - he's no Wizard Saint and he knows it and fears that one day, he will be killed by a much stronger and ruthless opponent.

Height: 5'10''
Weight: Around 140 lbs.
Hair: Dull Blonde, wavy and layered to one side.
Eyes: Purple.
Skin Tone: Awfully light if not outright pale.
Appearance: Tall, bright, and handsome would more or less describe Suoh's general look.  He has wavy blonde hair, smooth face, and sharp yet feminine purple eyes. He also has a very slim physique and little traces of muscles, though has a very toned out lower body because of his preference for agility over strength. When it comes to clothing, Suoh likes wearing fancy suits with a french-gentlemen motif and his most prominent colors are white, gold, and blue. To take things up a notch, he also tends to decorate himself with fancy jewelry just to show off and one-up everyone else around him.
