Special Characteristics:
While using magic, his right eye changes a bit. Around the pupil, light blue colored circles appear. To give a better example of it: think of rinnegan with less circles and more light blue. And no purple tint to the eye.

Personality:

When someone meets Phi, first thing they notice is how humble he is. He talks in the perfect tone, never too loud, never too quiet and with a heartwarming smile. He uses his hands while talking a lot, and speaks in a matter where person who he is speaking to just feels at ease, mostly because he knows how to tone his words thanks to a lot of music lessons he got when he was really young. He grew up only with his mother as his father died when their city was attacked. This sets the roots of his sexuality, since he grew up without a father figure, he learned to accept all and have the same feeling he can feel for girls, for boys as well. Even though he is all kind and warm, he does have a malicious side to him. The saying "Good people are the true arseholes when they are angry," applies to him very correctly. His personality, something that is already not perfectly known by him, might change when he is irritated. Like waking up to an argument my cause a silent guy like him to yell at the whole guild, just for a single small thing. Thankfully, this doesn't last more than a few hours. He is extremely loyal and selfless, to a degree where it is bad for him as he doesn't know the value of his own life. Having only his mother which caused him to have less of a family experience, makes him care about his friends more. Since he uses summon magic, his first actual friends were his summons, so he sees them just the same as his real friends.

Now let's look at some of his losing parts. He "seems" relaxed. However, Phi has OCD and anxiety problems. He worries a lot over even the smallest details. He has to check that everything that is supposed to be closed like locks, stove etc at least 2 times before feeling safe and okay. He calculates the worst case scenarios and does ridiculous stuff to stop them. Such as taping an outlet close just because he somehow thought it would one day cause someone's death. Bad thoughts enter his mind at night, making him stay awake for a long time before managing to sleep. These thoughts vary from "What if I left the door unlocked," to "Imagine if you burned someone alive," which causes him to cringe. He is scared of burning pain to a degree. Phi gets affected by conflict a lot, so even a small dispute is enough to make him feel all cramped and bad.

In battle is where things change a bit. Veritas doesn't believe in "honor," when it comes to fighting. When a situation is a life and death, he is not afraid to use trickery, persuasion or ambushes to guarantee victory. When he is not in a team battle, he can be seen wearing headphones to fire himself up with some good music. He is not a "never kill the opponent," person but "rarely kills the opponent," person. When it comes to a serious level of danger and anger, Veritas doesn't think twice before telling his summon to finish the opponent. However during spars, tournaments and usual, light fights, he keeps his humility and might even lend a hand to the person on the ground.

When the told "serious level of danger" arrives, things change a lot, not a bit. Phi's personality becomes a mix of his normal and battle self. He starts using his body excessively, because of his selflessness. He gets angry like a lot of people do when his friends get hurt. But what makes him go completely dark, is discrimination and/or bullying.

When it comes to team jobs, well, Phi loves teams, mostly because of how his summons are able to do healing and support spells. Being a leader is one of the rare things that his over-the-top thinking comes into play as he is very cautious, even more than because hence this time, not only his but other people's lives depend on him too, kinda. When he is not the leader, his behavior depends on the person that is the leader. If it is a friend, Phi is his usual, very responsive to orders self that follows directions seamlessly. When it is a stranger, he is much more cynical and prone to do things he wants to.

Likes:

♦Books♦
Phi loves, books.
He was the weird kid in the neighborhood. So he didn't play outside a lot, which explains his lack of physical skills. So he hit the books! And from them he grew up and became who he is. One of his motivations is thanks to learning existence of certain things from a book.

♦Music♦
Music is life for him. He listens to it all the time. There is always one earphone on his left ear, right one free to hear other people so he doesn't get smacked. He switches to headphones during battle. If you are going to kick butts, do it with music and style, right?

♦Snacks♦
"I'm so fat..." Phi says a lot while eating the onion rings (hoping they exist in FT universe) in front of him. He can't help it. Cakes, fries, they are so good!

♦Summons and friends♦
This was explained in personality. But to remind, friendship is a bigger thing for him than most people. And he loves his summons like real friends. No, because they are real friends.

♦Supporting♦
A warrior enjoys swinging his axe. Phi enjoys making that axe hit 10x harder and go "My baby growing up ;_;" on the background as the warrior beats stuff up.

♦Animals♦
They won't easily betray you, they are cute and dogs think you are god... Sure you have to clean up after them but Phi thinks it's all worth it.

♦Ties♦
He thinks they are classy and extremeley good looking.

Dislikes:

♦Discrimination♦
Race, gender or anything else. Any kind of discrimination ticks Phi off to dangerous levels. It might completely make him rethink about a very good friend.

♦Bullying♦
He despises it, mostly because he was bullied when he was weak. But now he has his friends, his summons. And he is not afraid to stop any bully at any age.

♦Ignorance♦
He thinks ignorant people are just trying to act cool. So he just completely ignores them. Like they don't even exist.

♦Drama♦
Useless drama is useless. He ignores and act like it didn't happen when he thinks something is unnecessary or is just being made for attention. He might completely act like a person is not sulking even if he knows they are. And if they still keep it up, he might just stop talking to them.

♦Sleep♦
He has a love-hate relationship with sleep. He likes to rest. But he doesn't like that he could be doing things instead of sleeping and thinks of it as a waste of time.

Motivations:

♠Love♠
As cheesy as it can get, huh.
Phi wants to experience love in a way no one else did. He doesn't want his relationship to be a responsibility, he wants it to be a break from them. He doesn't want a girlfriend/boyfriend he will always bicker with. He wants someone to just be with, happily. Someone that will also be their best friend. To achieve this, he continues to train, protect, hope and travel.

♠To have a better life♠
Phi didn't start his magic journey for fun. He was kissed on the forehead by his mother and heard her cries of farewell. He wants to do as many jobs as he can, make as many bonds as he can on the run, enough to support himself and his mother. A nice big house, a nice family, a loving wife/husband sounds all good.

♠Hope♠
Remember the book I told you about in personality? It's this. During one of his book reading frenzy days, he came across an old, dusty notebook. It was almost impossible to read. He had to save money to go to a mage who can use their spells to make it readable. He found a person using some kind of letter-based magic and thankfully, the words were readable. The notebook was a report of some kind of experiment named "Hope," however not the feeling hope, but as a name. It was a name of an experimental summon, made by no other than his grandmother. Hope was a summon that went beyond Phi's understanding of his bond-based magic. He always thought that a summon could be based on one bond, but hope required all bonds of one person to be maximized. There was no drawing of Hope, as his Grandma was never able to summon it. There is no telling it exists, but the person who manages to, is granted one wish, so the notebook says. That's why Phi started his training, asking his mother to pass him the Veritas magic.

Fears:
-Most of Phi's fears are irrational, he can't explain their origin. He is just afraid.

♣Being alone♣
Phi is afraid of death, but not his own. He is scared that one day someone he deeply cares about will leave, get lost, die.

♣Big, flying, bugs.♣
Ants an small bugs are okay, but if a bug is at the size of his thumb or bigger AND flying, there is a really, really serious problem here.

♣Betrayal♣
Phi is a cynical coward. That's the best thing I can find to explain it.
He trusts people, he really does, but he can't help but think, "What if they are just using me?" from time to time. He is scared that they'll double cross him one day.

♣Red towels♣
There is no explanation for this. Phi is uneasy around red towels. Irrational fear.

♣Hot water♣
He has an irrational fear of the thought of getting boiled alive.

Phi is 5'8 (5 feet 8 inches)

Hair
Phi has slightly messy short black hair that is pretty hard to shape because of his nature. He keeps his hair always to ears-lenght.

Eyes
Phi has deep dark gray eyes. He rarely widens them and keeps them in a relaxed state, when stared directly, one can sense his warmth.

Skin Tone
White, but not pale. His skin doesn't get bruised easily however it is easy to see when he blushes.

Appearance
Phi usually wears a white shirt, not tucked in to his pants with sleeves rolled over to his elbows. He almost always wears a black or deep red tie with it. He irons his shirt every morning to have a nice, sleek look and makes sure to comb his hair. Underneath, he mostly wears black trousers. When he is going for more of a relaxed, warm-weather type of outfit, he wears a short sleeved thin silver colored shirt and of course, a white tie. This time however he wears trouser shorts. He only wears his black jacket when he is serious.

He doesn't like his skin as sometimes they still get zits/acnes. Thankfully, it hardly bruises.

Body wise, Phi supports and avarage build. He is not chubby, but he doesn't have defined abs either, but baby ones that can be slighty seen. He has a thin neck and a tiny, tiny bit amount of sideburns since he is not the best at shaving. He has slender arms with no showing muscles and long fingers. His legs are normal without any extra details other than that they are really slightly thinner than an average 18 years old. Nothing much to notice tho.

He is always wearing his earphones but only the left one plugged in. He carries silver colored headphones for battles. (Earphones fell down when moving too fast, sadly.)
