[[OOC]] Research and Development Suggestion Box

While I currently have a sizable list of concepts to work on providing as mission-standard or mission-specialist equipment per division, I will eventually run out of things on this list.  To combat that issue before coming across it, and to help gather the interest and ideas of my fellow Knights, I have posted this suggestion box.

What would you like to see in the RK armory? We are the elites of Fiore's military, the police force created to keep mages and mage guilds in-line for the safety of the citizens - and to carry out the Magic Council's will in the faith that they also protect the citizens. To me, it makes no sense that we go into combat armed with the same/less than shirtless mercenaries who spend their time in the pubs of their guild halls and breaking the law. So - what do you think would be good standard equipment to help give us an edge?

-Nothing too specific or detailed (I'll handle that as part of my work), I'm looking for ideas alone.
-Does not have to be too primitive, my character is a born and bred engineer from Bosco.
-Weapons, armors, tools, magic items, spells, vehicles, pets/guardians. Got an idea for something like this? Toss a suggestion in the box.

Maybe some weapon/armor that negates or dispells magic on touch, sort of like the handcuffs. Maybe a lance with an energy component. What I mean by this is that where the lance hides the arm behind it, there might be some magical shield that could spread from that. Or in general some portable magical shields.
