Job: Strange Vulcans- Part One! [Lily/Axil/Kihia] (Private)

It was time, she was going to need her magic to make some more damage and attacks, there were to many, this was getting more difficult each second. The danger had at least duplicated, there weren’t only more vulcans, but this time, there was a vulcan with four arms and was moving very quickly behind the other nine vulcans. She at first got scared, but she knew she had to fight. She ran towards the vulcan she had just punched with the X mark. Even if she didn’t really have damage, she didn’t do much damage either. This time, she wasn’t going to attack. She used her feet to blow some dirt making a distraction, then she jumped to the head of the vulcan from the dust cloud. She had taken a bit of dirt in her hand to throw towards the head and make another cloud. The head of the vulcan was covered with a cloud as the same as Lilyan. “Light Orb! Fairy form” She shouted. Then, from the dirt cloud, Lilyan came out in the other side giving the vulcan a kick on the back part of the head. Lilyan had a white dress instead of her normal clothes and had no shoes, but the thing that most changed was that she now had wings, she had turned into a fairy. The vulcan fell on the floor. After the kick she flew up to evade any incoming attack.

Kihia looked up, and was shocked to see what was coming their way, nine Vulcans, and one of them seemed to have mutated in some way. Kihia frowned, Well alright then… time to mix things up a bit. Kihia stood up again and placed one end of Icarus one inch off the ground and focused on where Cyrus and Yuuto were, Lilyan should be ok for the moment since she is now able to fly… Kihia then focused his magic power at the end of Icarus by the ground, and then said “Ice make…Terrain!!” Kihia stood there for a moment making sure the spell fully formed, as he did this he made sure to form ice spikes on the bottom of Yuuto’s and Cyrus’s feet.

After the spell was finished Kihia got ready to launch himself off a tree, “Ice make…spear!” Kihia then shoved off the tree launching him towards the Vulcans. Kihia kept skating maintaining his speed and got ready to attack the Vulcan hordes who were tripping over themselves due to not being able to find traction on the ice. Kihia navigated to the left flank of the Vulcan horde, and sliced across the majority of them with the ice spear head. After Kihia passed them all he turned around and started to slow down, those he had just hit were howling in pain… but not dead.

Well this was certainly interesting. Nine new Vulcans had appeared, one of which had four arms. Cyrus decided to let the others make their moves first. Yuuto was more pumped then his friend had ever seen him before. Then there was Lily who had now turned into a fairy like creature. So that's her magic, he thought to himself. Lastly, Kihia had frozen the ground and given special attachments to Cyrus's shoes so he could walk on the frozen terrain. Cyrus Anyways, all of his teammates seemed to be beginning the fight, so he supposed he should too.

You going to use what I think you're going to use? asked Vulturnus.

"Cloud Make: Halberd," he said, answering his mentor's question. The weapon began to form in his right hand. It lengthened as he charged for one of the Vulcan's. He decided that the only way to beat the Vulcan's this time was to lessen their numbers right off the back. He ducked under one attack, then the next attack threw Cyrus over his head. The mage then took his weapon and slashed down the beast's back, causing some damage to the enemy. Cyrus took the shaft of his weapon and struck the monkey launching the beast backwards to hit the icy ground on his wound. It didn't look like he was in the condition to keep fighting. Cyrus then looked over at his teammates, wondering what their next moves would be.

Yuuto gave a threatening look to the strongest monster of them all when the nine approached. "Come at me." Yuuto invited the beast, his voice calm, quiet and emotionless. His newly soulless eyes revealed that Yuuto could no longer tolerate these monsters, and that he would have to reach a new limit to defeat them. A Vulcan approached Yuuto rapidly when the demonic Vulcan gave him a grin. Yuuto quickly responded by performing a backflip. As he did this, Yuuto caught the neck of one of the weaker Vulcans, and hurled it with his legs so the Vulcan would go flying into other creatures- which it did. Yuuto manipulated the formulas created to acknowledge the movements of previous Vulcans in order to predict the demon's next move.

In the moment the demon turned, Yuuto had already leaped directly towards its face, and launched a hard side-kick with his foot. The demon rammed into a tree on impact, and was idle for a bit. Yuuto turned back to his team. He could feel his surreal capacity increase drastically, and his memory improve wildly. Yuuto swiftly climbed up a tree to meet other Vulcans on the same level as their heads- a tree not too far away from the demons, in fact. Before they could tilt their heads, Yuuto smashed their heads together, and watched as both fell unconscious. "Under the Shingami name, never will one admit defeat." Yuuto thought to himself.

Lilyan was flying and saw that Kihia frizzed the ground while Cyrus and Yuuto attacked some vulcans separated, but Kihia had also damaged some vulcans. She went a bit higher to get some speed advantage. "Light Saber" Some light came out from her fingers to make a one meter blade to slash all enemy. She flew down to get speed and attacked the same vulcan she had just kicked, it seemed he was already defeated. She kept flying in zig zag to evade some attacks and slashed another of the already damaged vulcans, she first attacked the chest, turned around and slashed the back part. She had hit two of them. She kept attacking. Suddenly, a vulcan she didn't see attacked her from her left side, it was a direct hit. She was sent directly and crashed into a tree. She was even more scared about the situation, but before the vulcan landed a second attack on her, she flew to the back of the vulcan and slashed his head with the saber. She was now a bit damaged and had gotten a bit tired. She really wanted to finish the battle. Then she flew up again since she was in a bad position and saw the battle continue.

Kihia frowned as he saw Lily get knocked into a nearby tree, he was sliding backwards slowly, I hope she is ok… Kihia then turn his attention back to the Vulcans four of the Vulcans had already fallen to his companions. He nodded when he saw three of the remaining Vulcans were lined up, Kihia smiled and held Icarus with the end that didn’t have the spear blade facing a tree. I may have trouble keeping up with Icarus…but this should take out a few of them...

Kihia focused his magical power to that end of Icarus and then said “Ice Make…Pole!” Kihia tightened his grip on Icarus as the Ice pole shot towards the tree. The end of the ice pole impacted the tree with a large amount of force that then launched Kihia the opposite direction due to the pole still being formed. Kihia watched has he and Icarus flew towards the Vulcans, and when he was five feet away he let go of Icarus and started to slide underneath the Vulcans. Icarus flew through three of the Vulcans, whom staggered a bit from the shock of the attack and then fell over. Kihia watched as his weapon kept going after piercing through three of the Vulcans, and then was disconnected from the ice pole by the sheer momentum and got lodged in the tree Kihia was thrown against earlier. After Kihia got out of the range of the Vulcans he spun around and focused on the ice sheet around the mutated Vulcan. This should slow him down a bit, after he thought this he placed both of his hands on the ground and said “Ice make… Spear trap!!”

Cyrus maneuvered around the remaining non-mutated Vulcan as Kihia's spell took effect on the four armed enemy. It appeared that most of the enemies had been wiped out and these two were all that were left. So long as Cyrus could take out this monkey, this round would be finished. The creature didn't appear to be planning on dropping it's guard anytime soon. Cyrus began his assault by springing off his weapon into the air, while still gripping the halberd. From there he stood on the beast riding it around. He attempted to strike it's head, but missed and sliced it's lower neck. Howling in pain, the beast ran through the forest, far from the battle's initial location.

As the Vulcan slowed Cyrus noticed he was in a completely separate area from the others. Well, you really did it this time kid, Vulturnus sarcastically remarked. Cyrus leapt off the monkey that was in pain. He then leapt forward and slashed across it's flank wit his halberd, causing it to collapse.

At least I took care of the enemy, he said as he ran back to where his teammates were. He wondered what he would find when he arrived. Of course the mage had no doubt that his friends would be able to handle themselves, however there was another hitch in his plan. He fell down a pothole. Wandering around under the ground for a while he discovered a small key. He began to walk away.

Pick it up, requested the spirit.

Why?

Just do it.

The mage had no choice but to comply. He picked up the key, and figured out how to get out of the ditch. He shoved his weapon into the wall, climbed up onto it, then jumped, latching his fingers onto the edge of the hole. Taking up his running again, he hoped that his absence wouldn't have too horrible of an effect on the fight.

Yuuto clinched his teeth together while the Vulcans kept coming. The strongest monster of them all perfectly evolved, and as the rumours once told, turned completely into a demon. Fire surrounded it, which Yuuto took note of. The summoning of this reborn beast incinerated the trees surrounding it. The thought of such a presence bedazzled Yuuto, and persuaded him into memorizing such power. Yuuto placed his fingertips against his temples, and awaited an assault from the beast. The demon attempted to unleash a large fireball towards Yuuto, which it probably hoped to obliterate him with. Yuuto, however, countered with Rain of Heaven, which brought forth a giant shark formed of water. The great shark consumed the flames, then evolved. Once the shark evolved, it flew at an extreme speed towards the demon, and literally removed the devil from the Vulcan. Yuuto was now idle in two spells, though it was worthwhile. Yuuto had the time of his life as he fought these massive creatures, and did not hesitate in crushing them one bit. Two Vulcans became wildly upset, and crushed two trees near Yuuto, logs of wood cut against his skin. However, Yuuto did not give up.

Yuuto swiftly ran up one of the remaining trees, and sprung off of it to unleash a spectacular punch against a Vulcan's cheek. A large vibration formed due to the impact of the punch, and threw the Vulcan back towards others, and even knocked three out. Still, however, a pack still stood on both feet. Yuuto saw yet another Vulcan evolve into a demon, though it was weaker than the other. It used a similar spell, which Yuuto countered with Lock! He stopped the spell in place, then threw it back at the demon, and knocked it over. This demon, however, seemed to have Mirage Magic as it caused chunks of wood to smash against Yuuto's chest and back. Blood came out of Yuuto's mouth as he knelt down on one knee, his arms hung onto his hips. "Keep fighting!" Yuuto cried, a surprising grin appeared on his face. "They don't know this, but we've won. Yuuto nodded his head in agreement to his own statement. "They've dealt me a great deal of damage. However, with the amount of time they've given me, I have memorized every movement they make."

Lilyan had jumped to evade the attacks, she saw her friends fighting, she attacked with a slash towards another of the first vulcans. She attacked directly to the head as she did with the other vulcans with the hight as her favor. She kept flying and saw there were almost non vulcans remaining, Cyrus was attacking a vulcan and got separated from the group, Kihia seemed to used a magic on the floor to attack the four handed vulcan, meanwhile, it seemed Yuuto was damaged by a pair of vulcans. Lilyan flew as fast as she could to help Yuuto, he was still fighting but he was damaged. When he Lilyan was close, Yuuto started saying they had won because he had memorized one and each of the vulcan's moves, even do, the four arm vulcan was still there and had to be defeated. Lilyan graved him from the arm. "Let me help you" She was going to cure him, but a three fell and she had to evade it, they where still in a battle zone and she couldn't aply the magic if they were attacked. She knew Kihia could manage to get the vulcan with his magic, the rest wasn't ging to be that hard and she could only see the mutant vulcan left, but she wasn't sure.

Kihia quickly spun around and got to the tree where Icarus was lodged in and yanked it out, Kihia then turned back around and started to spin Icarus. He spotted that the mutated Vulcan had been pinned from ice make spear trap, It is good to see that it is holding firm… now let’s finish this… Kihia started to skate forward, as he did he said “Ice make… Ring!” He observed the situation in front of him; two Vulcans from the previous group had somehow rejoined the fight. Kihia then frowned when he saw this, but kept on his course to finish off the three remaining Vulcans who seemed to be preoccupied with his companions.

Kihia thrust Icarus out in front of him and focused in on his targets, Five spears for the mutant, and the rest are to be split up between the other two… Kihia closed his eyes for a moment and then said, “Ice make…Spear storm!!” He stopped skating to make sure that the spears hit there marks. He directed five of the ice spears to the mutated Vulcan who was pinned, one impaling each should and the last one hitting its neck. Kihia redirected the other spears to finish off the remaining Vulcans. Kihia then stopped sliding on the ice, and looked at the corpses of the remaining Vulcans, I am sorry, but you were to much of a threat to let you live…

When Cyrus returned back to the area in which the fight had occurred, he saw that Kihia had dealt with the remaining Vulcans. Cyrus was a bit embarrassed that he was separated from the group, especially considering that eh was the leader of Clustering Wishes. Oh well, at least he had contributed a good bit to the fight. Counting the ones that had came back, all together the team had dealt with twenty simians. It didn't appear that there were any left to fight the group of four mages, and so Cyrus considered this a job well done. He shook hands with all of the people involved before they went to get to the reward. After this had been done, the other three mages went to Hargeon, while Cyrus stayed behind. There were some things he wanted to deal with.

As he walked back into the forest he glared at the figure who stood before him. It was the man from his job in Beanstalk Village. His attire hadn't changed; he still bore the shield and armor that he had the last time. "Yo," said the man, "How's my favorite mage spirit combo?"

"Just tell me what you wanted to talk about," Cyrus stated outright. He didn't like that this man knew things about his mother. He didn't like that he could see Vulturnus. He didn't like how the man seemed to look down on him. He didn't particularly like anything about this man. Their planned meeting here was something dreaded by Cyrus.

Just give it to him, Vulturnus said. He and the man seemed to know each other quite well, but Vulturnus refused to give away the man's name. In response Cyrus was tossed a small cylinder with a keyhole in it. It was made of white metal, just like the key Cyrus had picked up earlier. He assumed that they would fit together and sure enough, they did. When Cyrus looked up however, what he assumed was going to happen happened. The man had disappeared.

Use those when you think you need to. There will be a time, said Vulturnus as Cyrus began the walk back to Hargeon.
