Thank You (Viola) [Private/Social]

Yukine dreamt of a new time with Acnologia and Viola while he was asleep. The three were enjoying donuts, and everyone seemed happier than they ever had before- other than Acnologia, of course, who couldn't smile if he tried. They were in a mountainous area, above the clouds and out of everyone's sight. By how sudden this meeting was, Yukine could tell he was in a dream, though he still chose to embrace it while he could. Acnologia had given the two one gift each. The gift Yukine had received was the Regalia inside Acnologia. He could believe this was true as it in ancient text, Acnologia's name was written on it; just like any other Regalia's before it was absorbed. Yukine harnessed his power, though afterwards, he wondered why it didn't work.

This was when Yukine woke up. He found himself on a bed, covered in sheets. This definitely wasn't a room in his house, and so Yukine could only assume he was still in Viola's. "She managed to carry me? How embarrassing..." Yukine thought to himself. Albeit, he closed his eyes again, and wondered if even the slightest bit of his recent dream could come true. He tried to think greatly on the subject, though before he knew it, Yukine had fallen asleep again.

Yukine dreamt a second time; this time being of Acnologia, once more, though alone; just him and the dragon. Acnologia only had seriousness written on his face, whereas Yukine only had curiosity. The two were in a blank world- a dimension, if you will. Acnologia was speaking telepathically to Yukine while had tried to examine the dragon. In his hand still rested the previous gift Acnologia had given him. Acnologia told Yukine to use it at a much later time; a time in which he'd be nearing the top of the Mage Ranking Table: S or H-Ranked. Yukine watched as Acnologia fused with him, and formed the ultimate, cloaked supernatural human being.

Yukine was cloaked in a black and blue cloak; mostly black. The cloak was made of dragon scales, and had a hoodie that covered Yukine's head. Alongside this, Yukine also had a special pair of grey goggles, and his hands were glowing pure white. An aura of silver flames surrounded him, and Yukine felt a godly power flow within him. This was the power of Acnologia. Through a single movement of his hand, Yukine watched as one of the blankly-coloured walls in this dimension of nothingness broke apart, and clashed with the opposing wall at an almost unnoticeable speed. It was a miraculous sight. Yukine tested this power further as he rose his hand upwards. The ground ascended, and Yukine soon found himself looking over his home town: Oak Town. However, while he stood above all, Yukine noticed that the men and women were frightened of him. All sorts of magic had been aimed his way, though it was all nullified in an instant. This wasn't Acnologia's power, but rather the art of fantasies. Yukine pushed his hand forward, requesting that the crowd stopped, though in a second, in this unintentional movement, Yukine witnessed something horrible happen. Buildings in the town were thrown suddenly, and left all of the town's villagers dead; Yukine responsible for it all. Yukine looked at the palm of his head, and screamed in fear. "I'm so sorry, Ac--"

While Yukine tried to say Acnologia's name one last time, he awoke from his horrible dream. Yukine immediately took off his hoodie, for it was sweaty and run down from his rest. It was still very late, and the sky was still pitch-black. Though Yukine was hyperventilating at first, he had learned a lesson. Whether it'd be from Acnologia or not, if Yukine kept up his hunger for power, he would eventually come across powers beyond his imagination: Acnologia being one of them. Though, something was strange. It seemed as though Acnologia would eventually become yet another part of Yukine's power; he just didn't know when. Acnologia had forewarned Yukine about powers that he may not be able to control through a dream revealing the worst-case scenario. It was a great lesson, though a nightmare to watch, as well. Yukine laughed from it all, however, as the dream had really caught him off-guard. He slipped out of bed, and ReQuip'd so he was now wearing grey sweatpants, a long-sleeved white shirt, and some silver slippers. He walked out of the guest room, and saw Viola up ahead. He wondered if it'd be worth approaching her at such a time. It was late, anyway, though he did wonder what she was doing there.

"No. Nightmares." Yukine replied. He leaned against the wall and sighed. The young man refused to return back to the guest room, after all; he was scared. He questioned himself, and mentally beat himself for creating such morbid dreams. Is this really how power could evolve, in some cases? Albeit, now was not the time to share stories. Instead, Yukine crossed his arms, and pondered thoughts for a minute. "Well, I'm going to head back to sleep now." Yukine remarked, also with an uneasy expression written on his face. He carefully walked back into the guest room, which seconds prior to this moment, he had refused to go inside. It was strange. It was almost as if the room were animate, and asked for Yukine's attention. It was then that Anita appeared beside the bed Yukine rested on, and looked at him calmly. Anita was surely amazing. She always stayed confident, no matter what, despite knowing exactly how Yukine felt every second of every day. She could always see the better in him, no matter how much Yukine denied it sometimes. "Let's go to sleep together, Anita." Yukine suggested with a warm smile.

Yukine closed his eyes shortly after this, hopefully never to have another nightmare again tonight.

Yukine was now in the realm of the Regalia. Hear, he could see the ten spirits he had currently gathered, all collectively placed under his own roof, the dream being in his own house. He was watching TV, though while he did so, Yato interrupted. "Seems as though your memories are returning back, huh?" Yato assumed, "Well then, I present to you this Lacrima!" Once Yato had said this, he disappeared, never to be seen again for the rest of the dream. Yukine examined the Lacrima, and saw that it held a hierarchy of his current Regalia. The hierarchy was like a three-layered diamond, only the first filled thus far. When all Regalia would be gathered, something extraordinary would appear, and Yukine knew exactly what it was. He looked deeply into the hierarchy, and also scanned through the profiles of the ones he had collected.

Yato was a young orphan who never got to see his parents from age four, onwards. Hiyori was a girl who had been sexually abused by her father as a kid. The list went on, which only revealed that none of these Regalia had good history to share, and furthermore, they were very grateful to be reborn by Acnologia. Yukine always asked himself one thing about these Regalia, though: What would happen once he met them all, and the ultimate secret would be revealed? Would he still see then again? Would he still be capable of harnessing their powers? Yukine sighed as he was clueless by this point.

Yukine awoke softly after his deep dream. Only an hour had passed, and so Yukine headed back to where he was before; where he saw Viola, also awake.

"No, this one was just fine. It just didn't last very long." Yukine explained, "It's interesting though. I had a dream with the exact same scenery as the painting I gave you. Everything was happy and peaceful." Yukine wished for that day to come- no- even for Acnologia to come, alone. It was strange how he was now having dreams reflecting him as power, other than a dragon. Would Yukine really become an incarnate of Acnologia's spirit. Is that what he was meant to be? Again, why did Acnologia choose him over anyone else in the brink of death? There were millions of other people in this world that couldn't even afford the three basic items in life: shelter, food and water.

Yukine stood by Viola's side, and looked at the clear water. It reflected an image of him perfectly, and Yukine enjoyed what he saw. The clear water, just like its condition, proved that Yukine was still pure at heart, and had a second chance to redeem himself for his great sins. "I assume this is your favourite part of the house." Yukine remarked.

Yukine smiled blissfully and sighed. Sighing was a sign of relaxation for Yukine, and made him feel refreshed upon any area he called "beautiful". He examined the water thoroughly and furthermore for a moment before he redirected his attention to Viola. Her facial expression made her seem depressed, yet here she was, at a place just as soothing as Yukine thought it'd be, himself. He gave Viola a curious look, at first, then asked "Is everything okay?" Yukine was worried about Viola now. Was she here to calm her nerves? Is that what she meant by her statement. Yukine grew uncomfortable, and so he played a little joke.

Yukine immediately summoned a box of assorted donuts, and ate a random one right off the bat. "Also the perfect sight to eat donuts." Yukine remarked teasingly before he handed Viola the box. "I had three dreams: one was with you and Acnologia, the second was with Acnologia alone, and the third was with my spirits. Whether I'm awake or not, both Acnologia and my Regalia always seem to prove that I should be happy at all times, and I'm an idiot for thinking otherwise, sometimes." Yukine's blissful smile turned into a signature smile for Viola; a very bright one.

"I will ensure our dreams come true."

"Funny how you mention that. I sometimes question how I'd talk to Acnologia, though then I realized, he'd technically be someone new to me, right? Therefore, I'd talk to him just as I did to you, and cooperatively so I can make a friend. I'd have fun so we could enjoy ourselves, and be satisfied by the end of the day." Yukine paused as the other details Viola mentioned sort of...surprised him.

"I think you're exactly what Acnologia and Zeref wanted you to be: the woman you are now. You fell in love with Indar, made friends with great people like Zenneth, and formed your own family; in two guilds! You're someone they believe in, and hope to see make this world happy." Yukine smiled lightly as he saw Viola eat the donuts. She seemed so pleased and calm while she are the donuts, despite how carnivorous she seemed while doing so.

Yukine laughed softly when Viola messed up his hair. By the second, she only seemed to be getting better, regarding her persona. However, with this being said, it was obviously acceptable for Viola to question herself, as well; the change in her. Yukine placed his hand on Viola's shoulder, looked at her, and smiled childishly. "Should Zeref and Acnologia return to put your life in danger, they will recognize me, as well, and I shall protect you. Should they come to satisfy us, I will ensure the moment lasts forever. This promise all started with the painting I gave you, Viola." Yukine looked up at the beautiful, starry night sky through the window. A shooting star had passed in the moment he finished his statement. "Make a wish." Yukine commanded pridefully. After all the emotions they had expressed, and the new lessons the two had learned about each other; it all seemed as though this were a dawn to a new beginning- the next chapter.

"I wish that everyone lives in peace and harmony."

Yukine sighed in relief after he made this wish. He was always so hesitant whenever he asked for something indirectly. Even though praying was often a ritual in Catholicism, Yukine struggled whenever it came down to talking with God. He sometimes feared Him, and wondered what God had in store for him; Yukine's fate. This was Yukine's perspective of the future. He also wondered if his wish would now be necessary. "Is the world meant to live in peace and harmony eventually, or are we all here to constantly live under a challenge?" Yukine thought to himself. He looked at Viola once he stopped wishing, and hugged her for a moment. "You really have a nice place." Yukine complimented, "So, is that all for tonight?"

"S-Sorry, I worded that poorly." Yukine confessed. He mentally slapped himself for speaking as though the two had "connected" tonight, and wanted more. It was disturbing to think about, though Yukine managed to erase the thought from his mind with ease. He didn't want to come across such a point, anyway. "I was just wondering if you planned on staying here until sunrise." Yukine remarked, "If you are, I suppose I'll just keep you company until the time comes. Frankly, I find it awkward sleeping in another person's house while they're awake." Yukine smiled politely and looked back out the window. "The water is so clean, I can never stop seeing myself through it." Yukine muttered. He wasn't sure what to say after that poorly worded question.

"No, I'll stay up with you." Yukine replied with ease, [color:2fb8= orange]"I...can't really fall asleep- not for a goodnight's rest, anyway." This wasn't entirely the reason as to why Yukine wanted to stay up. It had been a long time since Viola and Yukine had last seen each other, and the last time the two had seen each other, Yukine...wasn't himself. He had the full intent to kill both Viola and Indar, had Viola not possessed the ability to tamper with his little realm of hatred. Yukine would forever regret this moment, and knew that, no matter what, it had to have an eternal impact on everyone who saw it; the cold-hearted Yukine.

It was then, while Yukine was pondering thoughts, however, that Viola suddenly thanked him. For what, though? Yukine had nearly scared her to death the last time they met, yet here she was, thanking him. Then it hit him. She still thought of him as a friend, somehow. Yukine even remembered the words Viola said when she first entered his mind. No matter what state he was in, Viola always seemed to want to make him happy. Yukine sighed in relief before he spoke for himself. "You're my best friend, Viola; a sister, practically. I would hate myself if I lost you, or if you lost me- if that makes sense. I hope we stay friends forever. We may fight, we may go insane, and we may even want to hurt each other at some points, but just remember: I'll always be here for you." Yukine smiled passionately, and offered to give Viola another hug. "Thank you...Acnologia." Yukine thought to himself while this all occurred.

Yukine smiled passionate- warmer than usual- when Viola bear-hugged him in response to his offer. It was the happiest moment he had ever had with anyone in his life; someone who was willing to dedicate their friendship eternally to him, despite seeing the worst in the young man. At this very point in time, Yukine had never thought any better of Viola than he did now. Yukine listened to Viola's words carefully, not because he had to, but because he wanted to. He sighed in relief as Viola promised to be just as protective over him as Yukine did for Viola. "Indar's a lucky man." Yukine whispered into Viola's ear, proud to have Viola's boyfriend alongside him, as well. One could easily say that this was a family reunited.

Yukine looked down to see Viola's head buried in his chest. A tear streamed down his face, though Yukine managed to catch it before it would hit Viola's shoulder. "Am I crying?" Yukine commented with a hint of laughter. Maybe it was true. Maybe this was an emotional moment for the two. Yukine looked at the water with the corner of his eye, which surprised him, though no sign of movement followed this new feeling. The stars and the moon shined so brightly upon the water, that in reaction, the water was glowing. "Look at how beautiful the water looks." Yukine advised while the two still hugged each other.
