A Day of Relaxation with Sephi (Social/Private)
Guest- Guest
Yukine walked along a town he had never been to before: Hargeon Town. Since his huge encounter with the demonic Vulcan, Yukine wanted to see what kind of mysteries existed in other towns. Simultaneously, however, Yukine wished to relax, and so he chose the town located nearest to the coast to do so. Yukine walked into an open bar with umbrellas over the tables, and ordered a raspberry vodka. He sat there, and leaned back. This bad was spacious enough to do so, anyway. Yukine was worried about what was to come as he drank out of the bottle of vodka given to him. The missions only became more risky, the population of Sabertooth had grown short, and Yukine was starting to get higher and higher in the ranks, his experience as a Mage rapidly increased. He concluded that some time off in another time to help him overcome his stress.

A young white haired girl strode through Hargeon town, a raven perched on her shoulder. On her back was a large blade, seemingly almost the same size as the girl herself. Her face showed slight indifference, but she also appeared to be slightly sweating. Her left eye was covered with a black eyepatch that had a nice little rose design on it, and her right eye was captivatingly blue, but in this case it seemed to be icy cold.
This young girl was Sinon Noir, otherwise known as Sephiria. A third nickname she was starting to go by was The Karasu Kenshi, or Raven Swordsman. She had just finished an intense training session nearby, and she needed a good relaxing time. Otherwise, she was going to become super crabby like her ever beloved raven guardian.
Speaking of which…..
“I tell you Sephiria, we should not be here anymore. These people are insufferable!” The raven huffed, seemingly angry. If one took a closer look, they could notice how his feathers were ruffled and seemingly in bad condition.
“Nightwing, you were just upset that the kids tried to hug you.” Sephiria spoke in return to the raven with humor evident in her voice. The raven huffed again, seemingly upset about the entire situation.
“They didn’t need to be so rough!” He squawked while flapping his wings a bit. This gained the attention of some people, and the bird had the decency to seem somewhat ashamed of his outburst. Sephiria giggled behind her hand and shook her head at Nightwing.
“They weren’t that rough with you.” She spoke while her eye began scanning the terrain for somewhere to go. As she spotted an open bar, her eye lit up at the chance to get something to drink. Pointing one of her gloved hands at the bar, she moved her shoulder slightly in order to gain the attention of the now sulking bird. “How about over there?”
Nightwing looked at the place she was pointing at, and nodded with some satisfaction. “It shall suffice. Let us get over there quickly, the less time we spend here the better.” Sephiria shook her head once more, before her entire body burst into a flock of ravens that moved at a rapid pace towards the open bar.
-----------------------------------------
The flock of ravens stopped at the entrance of the open bar, and combined together to reform into Sephiria with Nightwing sitting on her shoulder once more. She quickly adjusted her eyepatch before walking into the bar and taking a seat. The bar wasn’t extremely busy, so it wasn’t long before she was attended to. Only taking a simple glass of water for now, Sephiria began to lightly sip on her drink quietly while thinking about her current situation. As she grew in strength, the missions only became that much harder. She was training as hard as she could, but that only could do so much for her. A short break wouldn’t hurt her at all, and relaxing always sounded good.
At the sound of wings flapping, she turned her head to her left shoulder. Nightwing had decided to switch sides in order to stare at a young blonde haired male. Sephiria sighed silently as the bird gave the young man a critical eye, before opening his beak to speak again.
“Excuse me my boy, but aren’t you a little young to be drinking?” Nightwing asked in a bit of a superior tone. Sephiria turned to get a good look at the person her bird companion was harassing, and noticed bright golden-orange eyes. She also was silently stunned to notice he had about the same amount of magical energy as she did. Sephiria shook herself out of her musing and pulled on the wing of her raven guardian.
“Nightwing…...leave him alone.” Sephiria stated in a cold tone to her bird. The raven huffed, while Sephiria turned to the blonde male and smiled apologetically. “I’m sorry…….he’s just sort of rude to people. I hope he hasn’t ruined your day in any way.” Sephiria’s voice was apologetic, she really hoped that her raven didn’t piss off another person. He had done it before, and while she had managed to beat that guy up pretty easily, this was another mage.
She wasn’t certain she could win this fight.

Yukine sat there, quietly taking sips from his drink, and embracing the good memories he had stored in his mind. This raspberry vodka was the souvenir of Yukine's first day in Sabertooth. This brand of raspberry vodka is what got Yukine plastered that one night, and made him require an escort to go back home safely. These were funny times. However, the most important part was that Yukine made good friends that day, and promised to stand by their side. This great state of thought ended, however, once a white-haired Mage passed by Yukine. She seemed rather suspicious, with an eye patch over her face, and a raven alongside her. Overall, the Mage that had passed Yukine looked more than the average type of Mage he had seen before. In fact, as he sensed her magical energy, Yukine clarified that this woman was set on a high degree with her spells.
Moments passed, and once one of the two finally decided to speak to Yukine, he set his drink down. "Drinking is permitted for Sabertooth Mages." Yukine confirmed, "It's only traditional for us, though I prefer not to drink to extreme extents, if you know what I mean." Yukine laughed on the inside as this raven seemed to act superior to the Mage, which was rather presumptuous, in his opinion. Yukine, nor any other Mage should be estimated so quickly; whether positively or negatively. Yukine nearly picked up his glass again before the lady decided to speak. "It takes more than talking to ruin my day." Yukine commented with a grin, "I'm Kichiro Yukine , though you can just call me Yukine. How are you?" Yukine's voice seemed very gentle and lawful, though his persona was usually dependent on the people he encountered. Albeit, Yukine simply awaited a response after these actions.

“My name is Sinon Sephiria Noir. However, my friends just call me Sephiria.” Sephiria replied to his introduction with one of her own, and pointed towards her bird. “This is Nightwing. It is a pleasure to meet you Yukine.” Sephiria took a drink from her glass of water, glad that Yukine seemed to be a nice enough guy to ignore her bird’s constant attempt at picking fights with people. The bird was quiet , knowing enough about Sephiria to understand that she had the situation in hand.
“Sabertooth huh?” Sephiria spoke again, turning her head slightly so that her blue eye was shown being focused on Yukine again. “That’s a guild I hear about a lot, but I’ve never met an actual member before. I’m from Eclipse Soul myself.” Sephiria pulled off her right hand’s glove and showed her guild tattoo. “There aren’t too many of us at the moment, but we are close like a family.” Sephiria smiled at the thought of all of her friends in the guild, and her parents. They had been there for her through a lot, and even when she was acting out they still tried to be there for her.
“So what is Sabertooth like?” Sephiria asked after shaking her head to clear her mind. “I’ve heard of some stories about Zenshin from a friend of mine, but I’ve never met him before.” The poison dragon slayer was really interested in the guild Yukine hailed from. She knew that the current GM had been a former member of Eclipse Soul, but she knew next to nothing what his guild was like. She had already met people from Fairy Tail and Blue Pegasus, and even some dark guilders.
She very much wanted to know how a Sabertooth was from a member’s perspective.

Yukine smiled warmly to both Sephiria and Nightwing when they were introduced by Sephiria, herself. The raven didn't look intimidating at the time, though Yukine wished not to test him. Yukine had already forced others in the past to move over to their angry side, and it wasn't pretty to see. As for the Mage, though she still seemed mysterious, Sephiria also looked innocent and intelligent. Yukine never liked to judge a book by its cover, and so he was glad to see that Sephiria was giving off a better impression with her persona than her looks. Yukine finished his glass of raspberry vodka, and took a break from drinking for the meantime.
"You've never seen a Sabertooth Mage before?" Yukine clarified, "Well this is my first time seeing someone from Eclipse Soul." Yukine looked at himself curiously when Sephiria showed him her guild tattoo. Yukine didn't want to be too straightforward and simply flip his shirt up, and so Yukine just tossed the opportunity aside unless Sephiria would ask. He was touched when Sephiria described how Eclipse Soul was like family to her. "Sabertooth is a currently in a population crisis after a large team decided to leave." Yukine remarked, "I considered the people that left family, though the people that still remain in the guild are very friendly." Yukine smiled meagrely after this. He still became depressed on the inside whenever the horrible news was recalled, though Yukine always kept a nice poker face on the outside to hide this fact.
"Sabertooth is a guild based on lawfulness, conviction and justice. We require high standards from our Mages regarding personality, mostly because we have a lot to offer, and are strict on the code of lending a helping hand. We cannot do that for those who can't determine their own persona, and show it on a high degree of effectiveness." Yukine sighed as he remembered when he joined the guild. He was fortunate that his optimistic side decided to suddenly open when he entered the guild, and so he was welcomed into Sabertooth with open arms. Yukine had worked his tail off after that point, however, which would ultimately get him accepted into the community regardless. Yukine laughed a bit when Zenshin came up as a topic. "Zenshin is the most respectful man you'll ever meet." Yukine commented, "He'll treat you like family the moment you are accepted into his guild, and will not stop until you are satisfied with your stay in Sabertooth. He is also really caring and intelligent, though those are two things you'll have to experience personally."
Whenever Yukine spoke about his guild to Sephiria, he became more interested in what her guild was like. "I've been inspired by Zenshin, in a way. In fact, since I have met him, I tend to try and satisfy everyone I meet to a reasonable limit. I have began to notice how well I treat people, and overall, my persona has become much better thanks to him." Yukine focused more on Sephiria now as he thought he had described enough about Sabertooth for someone outside the guild. He was really eager to find out what kind of guild Eclipse Soul was. "While we discuss guilds, mind describing yours?" Yukine asked.

Sephiria took a drink from her glass of water again while Yukine spoke about his guild. It sounded like they had hit a rough patch, with what them losing members and all, but it reminded her of her guild somewhat with how close they were. Sephiria fingered her glass while listening to the blonde male, making sure to pay rapt attention to him. Nightwing was also paying attention, trying to gather as much information as he could about Sabertooth. No matter what he thought, they were a potentially strong ally for Sephiria to have. And whatever extra protection she could get in the future was worth keeping his beak shut for.
“Eclipse Soul…..was a guild based on the foundation that everyone deserves a second chance.” Sephiria began, taking a quick drink of her water to finish off the rest. “We accept former dark mages and those who are looking for a change in life. We pride ourselves on being a family to each other and being there for each other. No member shall ever stand alone, so long as another one of us draw breath.” Sephiria pondered for a second where that last line had come from, but she decided it was a better idea to not think about it for too long and repaid her attention to Yukine.
“Our Guildmaster is Zeno Sombras. And while I have never met him myself, I’ve heard enough about him to understand his strength.” Sephiria chuckled a bit, remembering the times she listened to a story about Zeno from one of her guild mates. It was always an interesting experience to hear from them about her guild master. “Our aces are quite the impressive bunch as well, ive seen two of them in action personally to know that.” It was true, she had bore witness to Kyll’s abilities firsthand on the jobs they had done together. She had felt her father’s attacks firsthand as well, so that part was just as truthful.
“Everyone in the guild has a unique personality, and each tends to come with upsides and downsides.” Sephiria smiled remembering specifically her good friend Kyll’s tendency to have random nosebleeds at the oddest of moments. “We all tend to be very lively despite the fact that there aren’t that many of us. I love it there, and I'm pretty sure most of our members do as well.” Sephiria sighed as Nightwing puffed his chest out in pride randomly.
“Let’s not forget the fact that you are a well known Rising Star! People are starting to look up to my dear girl here young Yukine, in fact I think you could learn a thing or two-” Sephiria clamped Nightwing’s beak shut with two fingers, hoping to get him to stop ranting for a bit. She smiled apologetically to Yukine once more.
“A-anyways.” Sephiria tried to keep her attention from the rapidly flapping bird on her shoulder. “That’s about as much as I can tell you about the guild from my perspective. I hope that it helped you learn a thing or two about us. Is there anything else you’d like to know?” Sephiria kept her attention on Yukine with a smile on her face, even though Nightwing was now passed out on her shoulder.
The bird needed to keep its prideful mouth shut sometimes.

Yukine went into a deep state of thought when Sephiria spoke about her guild. The fact about never letting one stand alone reminded him of his recent, mental trauma. His personality had divided in two, and then the darker traits took over; all because Yukine felt alone at the time. He was dull to everyone, and disrespected everyone he spoke to. He treated everyone as though only he mattered, and that they were worth nothing more than a pile of dust. Yukine even proved so physically against his former girlfriend. He had slashed through her mercilessly with his swords, smashed her against walls with godlike speed, and burned her to a state of unconsciousness- all because this dark Yukine lived by a code of hate. However, could it be that even his dark side could be accepted into a legal guild? Is this Eclipse Soul?
Yukine returned to reality once the raven began to speak, though it seemed it was cut off this time by Sephiria. The raven really seemed to like Sephiria, just as Anita loved Yukine. "Sounds like a really inspiring guild!" Yukine commented, "Zeno must be a great leader!" It really hurt Yukine to be reminded that he was once so terrifying. Heck, he had even almost killed Indar that one night with him and Viola. Oh, how painful would that have been? However, Yukine would never defect from his guild, and join another. In his opinion, it just didn't seem right, at the moment.
When Yukine had heard about aces, he simply left the particular thought aside. There were truly no aces in Sabertooth, and the strongest member other than Zenshin was horrifying: Frederik, in other words. Yukine wished to be the Avatar of Conviction, and be a true representative of his guild at the highest class. Heck, while he thought about it, Yukine also wanted to become the H-Ranked Mage of Sabertooth, though such a rank was entirely up to the guild master. Yukine wondered how many Regalia he would know by the next level, and the one after that. He had read a book of ReQuip magic before this trip, and learned that some techniques tend to be linked to others. This was when Yukine learned about a secret Regalia that had yet to appear, and was quite legendary in his time.
"I think you've given me a great impression of your guild." Yukine responded to Sephiria's question, "However, now that we're here, would you like to grab something to eat with me? Just as friends, of course." Yukine didn't know why he had to bring that point up- possibly because of Victoria. Yukine always seemed to imagine as if Victoria were always watching him. It was weird, especially since he knew that she now hated him with a passion in her new state, though the blonde-haired Mage was prepared to change all of that.

Sephiria smiled as Yukine invited her out for food. It wasn’t the first time someone had done this for her, heck she was almost assured that it wouldn’t be the last time someone did either. But just like every other time, she was bound to accept. Sephiria was always slightly hungry, no doubt due to her need to consume more as a dragon slayer, and she was not one to turn down a meal. Even if she ended up paying for it.
Which she might.
“Sure. I’d love to grab something to eat.” Sephiria replied, picking the unconscious Nightwing off her shoulder and placing him in the inside of her jacket. She hated having him out cold in the open, because then people tended to poke and prod the raven until he woke and went on a rant. And this tended to give Sephiria a headache, so she just decided that him staying out cold for the longest possible time was the best choice of action. Sephiria smiled at Yukine, adjusting her odachi so it felt more comfortable on her back. The large blade hummed while she maneuvered it, and it began to glow slightly. Sephiria ignored it for now and kept her focus on Yukine.
“So tell me a bit more about yourself Yukine. I’d love to get to know more about you.” Sephiria stated with curiosity shining in her blue eye. Her new friend was interesting to her, and she figured it would be courteous to ask more about him.
She was still the gentlewoman she had groomed herself to be after all.

Yukine gave a cheerful smile when Sephiria accepted his request. "Great! Let me just grab this waiter's attention, then." Yukine replied. As he said it, Yukine gestured the waiter who previously took care of him to come back again, then asked for two menus; one for each of them , obviously. Yukine moved tables after, with the two menus, and sat across Sephiria. He confirmed during this time that his impression of Sephiria was official. She was a gentle, kind-hearted lady, in his opinion, and Yukine could surely see the two become close as friends. Once Yukine say across from Sephiria, it seemed she became interested in him as Sephiria asked Yukine about what he's like, generally; history, personality, hobbies, etc. Yukine thought for a moment about how he could best describe himself, then came up with a conclusion.
"Well, first of all, I was born in the outskirts of Oak Town. I was the youngest among five brothers, and lived a very wealthy life. I was given everything I wanted:man advanced education, games, furniture, appliances, electronics- you name it. However, while I received all of these things, nobody in my family ever paid attention to me. They thought I was smart enough to handle myself, and so they believed their accompaniment was worthless. However, as I grew older, at least my brothers cooperated with me. Unfortunately, during the year I joined Sabertooth, my family died in a wild incident. I prefer to keep it personal, though if you really want to know what happened, I'll tell you." Yukine paused for a moment, and sighed. Nobody had asked him such a question before, and responding to it seemed very mandatory.
"Once my family died, for a few months, I had grown very depressed. I locked myself in my room, and became antisocial with everyone. I did everything alone, and preferred to be this way until the months passed. Truthfully, this state of loneliness could of been eternal had my eyes not passed Sabertooth, because once they did, everything changed. Full of curiosity, I walked into their guild hall, and was immediately accompanied by four Mages. All four of those Mages have left Sabertooth, though they are still great friends of mine, and I wish all the best from them." Yukije chuckled a bit as he went a little off-topic with the discussion, and made his life seem more historical than modern.
"Anyways, when I joined Sabertooth, after swearing by an oath, I met Zenshin. He was the biggest inspiration in the guild, and still is today. He's a Wizard Saint, after all. I immediately went to work after I met him, and since then, my skills have increased dramatically, along with my charisma. Fiore has become my home, and my community of friends is now quite large in population. Though I was no longer spoiled, and limited to an average life, I tend to enjoy the present more than I did with my past. Having friends seems to be the best feeling of all, doesn't it?" Yukine grinned towards Sephiria and offered her a handshake.
"So, my new friend, let me learn a bit about yourself, as well." Yukine requested.

Sephiria sat across from Yukine and patiently waited for him to begin his story. He seemed like a nice enough person to get along with, and he hadn’t tried to kill her bird out of pure spite for the thing. Despite traveling with Nightwing for only a month, Sephiria already knew how irritating the bird could get if he was allowed to say or do whatever he wanted. She usually ended up being the one suffering, having to either beat the tar out of someone or escape with all of her limbs intact.
Suffice to say that the slayer was glad to find someone that didn’t immediately try to kill her bird or hurt her viciously.
Sephiria listened with great interest as Yukine told her his backstory. The Karasu Kenshi was very much surprised to learn that he came from a family of wealth, as she would not have guessed that from his demeanor. Sephiria clenched her fists when he talked about how his family didn’t really pay attention to him, remembering how her own family had abandoned her in favor of keeping their life easy. It was easily a sore spot for her, but she managed to keep her anger in check for now. It wouldn’t do to accidentally wake the annoying bird, so she just stayed quiet and kept her face as neutral as possible while Yukine continued. “I’m sorry for your loss.” Sephiria told Yukine, as she felt like he might have been able to connect with his family if given more time. She gave him a soft smile before he continued with his story.
Sephiria smiled brighter when he spoke about first finding the guild of Sabertooth and what it had done for him. She was glad another person who had been trapped in their own darkness had managed to find a place to call his own. It was nice, seeing as how they were so similar. His admiration for Zenshin was just like her own for her father Reiki. They had done much to get the opposite one out of their darkness, and show them what life had to offer if they tried for it.
“Well, I don’t know where I was born, as I was orphaned from a very young age,” Sephiria started, feeling like she should start from where Yukine did. “But I remember that my first adopted father found me somewhere in Midi. He was a kind man, and he taught me all he could about his magic. We were very close, like he was my actual father, so when he ended up having to leave i was saddened. I fell into a slight depression for some odd time, before I decided to travel around and see the world.” Sephiria adjusted her eyepatch and smiled, knowing what the next area of this story goes.
“I met my biological sister a bit afterwards. She didn’t know about the fact that I was born, and so when we met she was very surprised about it. My sister helped me get through a time where I was…….acting out in order to gain attention.” Sephiria decided to tone down the story, not wanting to mention how she had been imprisoned for a psychotic break and then released after she got her mind back together. “We lived together for a few years after that, but eventually we decided to go our own ways. I needed to grow stronger in order to defeat someone, and she wanted to get the truth from our family. Although we still keep in contact with each other.” Sephiria sighed and rubbed her forehead a bit, trying to remember some details about her past.
“I arrived in Fiore at about the age of 16. I met a few people who helped me learn some things about life on the way, and a couple of people who changed my life for the better.” Sephiria smiled forlornly, remembering her two blades that she used to carry around all the time. It was a saddening fact to know that she would never be able to speak to those two again, but they had parted on the best of terms so she couldn’t complain. “Eventually they convinced me to join a guild, and Eclipse Soul happened to be the closest one nearby. I could have joined Sabertooth had it been about a month earlier.” Sephiria giggled at that, since she literally could have. It was just a matter of chance that she happened to drop into Eclipse Soul, and thus began to start her journey.
“There I met my new family, and my adopted parents. I haven’t had a person that I look up to completely, except maybe my father. He taught me a lot, but then again we talk on and off at times. I’ve worked my butt off though, and like Nightwing said earlier I’ve been a rising star for some time. Although that is probably going to change soon.” Sephiria mentioned the last sentence offhandedly. She had grown so much in power that her Rising Star title would soon be removed. It was fine with the Karasu Kenshi though, as she had bigger goals aimed for.
Like becoming a wizard saint.
“Thats basically it. I travel to Midi on occasions in order to practice my swordsmanship too. That’s where I found this gentleman here.” The slayer said, pointing towards the blade on her back. “Thats about as much I can say without going into a ton of details. And I dont want to bore you with them unless you really want to know.” Sephiria stated as she took a look at the menu.
Although she wondered why she would even bother when she would just buy a lot and eat it all.

Yukine gave a warm smile after he kindly listened to Sephiria's story. "You sure have a lot to live by. I'm proud of you!" Yukine commented, "Also, you're free to tell me as much as you'd like. I don't get bored when talking to people unless they're my enemy, and you seem like a friend." Yukine examined the blade in awe- or at least what he could see of it when Sephiria pointed to it. "Swordsmanship, huh?" Yukine confirmed, "Well, I suppose I could come in handy then. I am a ReQuip Mage, after all." Yukine chose not to show his arsenal unless Sephiria wanted him to. However, he was surely glad that there was another before him skilled with swords. Yukine had a passion with them, anyway, and seemed to get better with them, as days passed. Heck, he was even improving in ranks.
Yukine scanned through the menu after the two had conversed for awhile. After a few minutes had passed, Yukine set the menu down and smiled. He asked for the waiter to return and requested the carbonara pasta with Parmesan cheese and bacon. He also asked if he could have a glass of cherry coke, especially due to the fact that he had grown bored of vodka today. After this, he stared at Sephiria, full of curiosity. "Is there anything you want to eat?" Yukine questioned Sephiria. He wondered what kind of cuisines she was into, and how much food she was willing to eat. Those in Sabertooth tended to eat pounds of food in every meal of the day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes, it was disturbing to think about, but funny, as well.
Yukine sat there as he awaited Sephiria's order.
(My apologies for the short post. Didn't really know how to transition from that long topic we discussed xD)

“Are you sure you want to know what I will order? I’m not the smallest eater you know.” Sephiria chuckled, as she looked over the menu. She began to drool a bit, and had to quickly bring a gloved hand up in order to clean it from her chin. Sephiria waved the waiter over and proceeded to order 3/4’s of the things on the menu, and a pitcher of water. The price wasn’t going to hit her that bad, she had some jewels saved up for occasions like this. Sephiria quickly checked her jacket to make sure that her bird was still alive, and when she felt him breathing slight she sighed in relief. She looked up to Yukine with a sheepish look on her face, apologetic for the amount she was going to eat.
“Sorry. I usually don’t eat this much, but I kinda missed breakfast.” That was actually true. Sephiria had been training all day, and forgot to eat earlier this morning. The poison slayer had been feeling hungry, but she was going to try and curb her hunger by ignoring it. Obviously, she couldn’t do that at all. Sephiria reached behind her and unstrapped her blade, setting it down next to her. While this might have seemed redundant in a sense, she didn’t like getting any food on her blade.
And with how she was going to eat, she was going to be a bit messy.

Yukine laughed softly when Sephiria commented on her eating. "Then I suppose I should mention one more thing about Sabertooth." Yukine replied, "In Sabertooth, we are known well for our eating and drinking capabilities. Eat as much as you'd like. It won't bother me." Yukine even wrote a large list of the food he was going to order after the carbonara pasta, and handed it over to Sephiria. Ninety percent of the menu was on this list, all requested to be packaged and sent home afterwards. Once the note was handed over, Yukine took a glimpse of the drinks the waiter was holding. It was their drinks of course, which he politely set on their table; the cherry coke and pitcher of water. Yukine always had the jewels on him to order an entire menu, if need be, though he wasn't that hungry today. He had eaten a delicious breakfast- better than the usual, actually. In fact, for awhile, instead of ordering the casualties in the guild hall, Yukine had been cooking his own food, which ultimately allowed him to show his own sense of imagination as he prepared his own food.
Yukine took another look at the blade as Sephiria mentioned that she missed breakfast. The blade looked as though it had been through a lot of work, which had really impressed the blonde-haired mage. "Mind if you tell me a bit about that weapon of yours while we wait?" Yukine asked. He was really interested in that blade that he saw, and wondered what kind of abilities it held. Yukine was willing to show his arsenal, in return, if be the case. Yukine often trained until he was exhausted completely. Since he had returned back to normal, his standards had increased dramatically. Yukine not only wished to be an ace in Sabertooth, but the H-Rank of Sabertooth. He wanted to truly prove that he was the strongest ReQuip Mage in all of Fiore. All he needed was a chance; a chance to prove in front of everyone that Yukine was capable of creating miracles in front of a live audience.
Jewels in a small bag appeared instantaneously in Yukine's hand as he wished to pay for the two, in advance. He even informed Sephiria that he wished to do on behalf of this nice meeting. Yukine rested his head in his hands, his elbows set on the table as he awaited the food to arrive. He had plenty of patience at the time, though he didn't want to wait too to merely see a pile of food on a plate. "So, anything other than training that you've been up to lately?" Yukine asked curiously.

Sephiria giggled as Yukine told her about Sabertooth’s eating habits. The entire guild probably eat about the same amount as she and her father could, if they both just went all out whenever they ate. She took the note he handed to her and read it, noting that the list consisted of about 90% of the food from the menu. While not surprised, she was silently wondering who was going to pay for all this food. Sephiria would feel bad if Yukine had to buy all of this on his own, as he seemed like a nice enough guy that something like that shouldn’t be placed on his shoulders. The waiter soon came with their drinks, while Sephiria tried to clean her blade somewhat so that it didn’t look terrible.
When Yukine asked about her sword, Sephiria looked back towards him and sighed. She looked around, then reached for her eyepatch and grabbed the bottom of it. “This blade is a very unique one. Its large stature requires me to hold it with both hands, and its not the fastest weapon out there.” She smiled as the sword began to hum a bit angrily, but continued regardless. “It is powerful though, and has the ability to create a large wave of magical energy. It also is connected more or less to this eye,” The slayer wiggled her eyepatch to show which eye she meant. “So the blade mostly connects with me. Oh, it can speak as well.” Sephiria remarked offhandedly, as the blade hummed again.
Sephiria frowned slightly as Yukine paid for the food that they had gotten. She really wanted to pay with him instead, but she wouldn’t refuse a free meal either. Sephiria simply nodded her acceptance and focused back on cleaning off her blade. When Yukine asked what she had been up to other than training, Sephiria shook her head. “Nothing. Training and jobs take up my entire time for the time being. If I’m not eating or sleeping, Training is all that occupies my time. I must learn how to handle my abilities better.” Sephiria turned her head back to Yukine, curious in a way. “What have you been up to?”

Yukine examined the blade in awe while Sephiria spoke about it. It seemed just as interesting as the weapons Yukine possessed in his arsenal. In fact, this blade and the Sekki that Yukine possessed were very much similar, in a sense. They both had their own way of communication; the blade could speak, and the weapons Yukine held had spirits stored to talk. All of these thoughts together seemed magical. Yukine easily imagined a duo between him and the woman seated in front of him. His gentle smile even indicated so from the outside. However, guilds often separated these opportunities, and made their members work with others in their respective guilds. This factor was one of the few flaws a guild have.
Yukine had never seen a two-handed sword before, which made him want to ask more questions about it. However, Yukine didn't enjoy talking too much about one subject. Sometimes, this sort of attribute could be considered impolite, though Yukine believed all of his actions had a purpose, on the contrary. He could hear the blade hum, which made Yukine wonder what was going on inside the mind of the weapon. It was then that Yukine took a glance at Sephiria's eyepatch. Of course he wondered why Sephiria wore an eyepatch, though it was quite obvious that it'd be rather rude to ask. Sephiria's personality no longer made her seem mysterious, anyways.
Moments passed, and Yukine noticed a frown from Sephiria the moment he handed the waiter money in advance; a tip included. "Is anything wrong?" Yukine questioned Sephiria, "Did you want to pay?" Yukine's question was interrupted, however, as three surrounding tables were covered with food brought by the waiter and two other staff. It was almost as if the two had just created themselves a private buffet. However, for now at least, the only item that belonged to Yukine was the carbonara pasta, so he really didn't deserve any credit for this great quantity of food- aside from the jewels needed, of course. Once the food was set, and Yukine grabbed his carbonara pasta, the answer to his question was finally brought up. "Well, I'm glad to be doing something like this with you then!" Yukine cheered, "As a friend, I promise that from here-on-out, we'll have fun together. It's what I'm about, anyway!"
Yukine looked at Sephiria curiously when she asked him what he had been up to. In some cases, Yukine did not want to answer that question. However, as Sephiria seemed to be honest with him, Yukine had no choice but to be honest with Sephiria. "It's been a tough time for me, truthfully." Yukine confessed and laughed softly, "I've been through some tough missions lately. Not only that, but my powers have seemed to annoy people, recently." Yukine frowned as the thoughts returned. "You see, sometimes power can tamper with your emotions, and make you somebody you don't want to be. I turned into that sort of person, and required the assistance of two other persons to be returned back to normal." Yukine scratched the back of his head as he still felt guilty during the time. "Other than that, I've had a great time with my friends and fellow guild members! I've been able to explore places a Mage couldn't normally see, and have been benefitted in more ways than one- that's for sure."

Sephiria listened closely to Yukine when he spoke about the one time he had lost control of his power and needed to have the assistance of two people control him. The Karasu Kenshi had no idea how that would feel, as she had only one experience of ever losing control. And even in that case, she didn’t remember much about it nor cause any damage as her father had stepped in to control her. Sephiria wondered if she would ever lose control again, but then dismissed that thought as quickly as it had came. The 3rd generation poison slayer had been taking all the time she needed in order to make sure she had her abilities under control before she brought them around people. It was very hard to ever see herself going out of control, and with her amount of training she might never.
Yukine then mentioned how much fun he had at his guild and traveling, and Sephiria couldn’t help but smile a little bit. It was the same for her, being awestruck by the scenery she saw at both her own guild and around Fiore. She turned her head slightly with her eye closed, and swiped a plate from the table it was sitting on. In mere moments, the food on it had disappeared while another plate filled with more food had taken its place. Sephiria went through one whole table of food before she looked at Yukine again, having noticed something but not wanting to outright blurt it out. But Sephiria needed to know if he wanted to know, and as friendly as he was she would tell him. He wasn’t a dark mage out to kill her, and he had been extremely kind towards her.
“I noticed you seem interested about my left eye.” Sephiria stated rather bluntly, but with kindness in her voice. “Would you like to know more about it? It isn’t a huge secret of mine, and I’d rather enjoy showing it off if it wasn’t such a pain all the time.” Sephiria had moved her hand back to her eyepatch, ready to take it off if Yukine had said yes.
“Think about what you are doing, young Karasu.” A deep voice spoke from seemingly nowhere, but Sephiria’s eye turned towards her blade which had begun to glow again. “You don’t know if you can truly trust this man. He is very much a gentleman and doesn’t seem to be threatening you, but he may have ulterior motives.”
“I appreciate the concern nii-san, but I can tell he isn’t planning anything.” Sephiria spoke while her blue eye turned back towards Yukine and she stared at him. “Besides, I can handle myself if the need came be.” The sword hummed again before the glow started to dim till it was barely noticeable. Sephiria continued to stare at Yukine, keeping her hand on her eyepatch if he really wanted to see it.
The Karasu Kenshi was afraid of little, and a fight wasn’t one of those things. Granted, she would very much like to avoid one.

Yukine blushed deeply when Sephiria found out he had been looking at her hidden eye. "Pardon me!" Yukine confessed, "I'm sorry for looking at it. I mean, it would interest me to see what's behind that eyepatch, though I do realize it's hidden for a reason." Yukine leaned back and sighed after his apology. He ate through his carbonara pasta rapidly. Guilt seemed to increase the speed in which Yukine could eat, anyway. After he had finished his food, Yukine called the waiter back to him, and handed him the note that had enlisted ninety percent of the menu. The waiter was in deep shock, and looked at Yukine as if he were a monster. Yukine pouted at the waiter with disrespect, in response, knowing exactly what his gesture suggested, and what his looks came to conclude. Yukine was surely unordinary when it came to food, though you'd think waiters would respect even that, right? Obviously this question did not apply at this restaurant, though the waiter still managed to accept the note as he walked away.
Yukine laughed a bit after the waiter had walked away in such a frightened manner. A waiter should never upset his customers, after all. Yukine repositioned himself so his arms were set on the chair arms, with his empty glass set right before him, and his empty plate set to the side for the waiter to collect. "So, if you wouldn't mind, I would enjoy seeing that hidden eye of yours." Yukine commented. He heard the weapon speak rudely about him, the weapon that coukd possibly suggest that Yukine was a two-face, and could turn on Sephiria at any given moment. In the past, this could certainly be true. However, Yukine had made a compromise the moment he had broken that deal with his dark side. Right now, both his dark and light self were merged together; Yukine's light side with seventy percent ownership. This way, Yukine could logically be considered a lawful human being- his ordinary self, if you will.
Isolation had surprisingly helped Yukine in the past. In fact, during the time in which Yukine's Regalia were in their parallel state, and his mind was set to that of pure hatred, the good Yukine sat in a deep corner of the new Yukine's mind. Time in this newly formed mind was different than time in reality. For example, a single day in reality could feel like a year in the state Yukine was in back then, while his dark side mercilessly slaughtered enemies to deal with his problems. Yukine used these moments to memorize every atom of every emotion, feeling, thought, fear and motive. With this knowledge, Yukine had gained the ability to reset himself to his will, which ultimately gave him the best compatibility of all with his Regalia. Yukine had been reborn yet again to his lighter side, though this time, and from this point onwards, Yukine was in full control of his lawful, kind-hearted self; no ounce of hatred expelled from his body. This had been the best thought Yukine had come across since the incident, and after he realized it, Yukine never had another thought of the incident again. In fact, the only reason he would refer back to it was due to a long lost friend.

Sephiria closed both her eyes, as taking off her eyepatch was a bit disorienting to start with all the time. It was something she was getting used to doing, but still had trouble adjusting to. Pulling her eyepatch up, she waited a few seconds before slowly opening both her eyes to show Yukine what was under her eyepatch. It was her completely blood red gem with an extremely tiny pupil. The entire eye, including her sclera, was the same blood red except the black dot that showed where her pupil should be. To many people, this might just be how they had their eyes from birth and they didn’t need to hide it. Heterochromia wasn’t common, but it wasn’t a reason to hide your differently colored eye.
But Sephiria had a different reason.
Even as she sat there watching Yukine’s reaction to her eye, everything was moving slowly to her. She could see the blonde mage inhaling as if he was doing it at a ultra slow pace. Sephiria could see the other patrons of the bar eating their food extremely slowly, as if they were attempting to savor every bite. She could see a waiter talking with a patron while holding some item in their hands, which seemed like a menu. She also happened to notice that a plate was about to fall from her pile, so she reached up and grabbed it, settling it nicely back on the stack. To her, it was a calm simple movement. However, the plate would have normally moved far too fast to be seen by the regular eye, so she would have either needed future sight or the ability to see things in slow motion in order to have caught it.
“This eye is what I hide. I cannot have it unblocked for too long, otherwise its ability will cause me extreme pain.” Sephiria purposely withheld the information about her eye’s ability. She wanted to see if Yukine was interested before giving that part out, because she didn’t want to bore him with the details of it.
Even if he had originally said he didn’t mind.

Yukine smiled warmly when Sephiria revealed her hidden eye. "Heterochromia, huh?" Yukine confirmed, "I used to have troubles with my eyes too..." Yukine even proved this as he closed his right eye for a moment, then re-opened it. The white in his ring eye had been tainted in black, and his pupil had transitioned into a golden ring. "Spirits exist in my soul, and when they merge with me, my eyes react like this." Yukine commented. He appreciated the fact that Sephiria was being so open with him, and so he asked if there were any other details Sephiria could give about her eye.
"Back when my incident occurred, both of my eyes turn as I just showed you. However, that was back when I had two personas; not one. When both of my eyes turn into their other state, my flow of magic becomes parallel to its original state. I become much stronger, though I grow into somebody that lives off hatred, and slaughters to get what he wants. That person was erased when I fought him in a secret realm, though his powers are still under my control. Should my powers be misused, an opportunity of his rebirth may come." Yukine smiled to indicate that, even if this was the case, that he'd be okay, and never suffer isolation again. He would not become that person who calls himself life's resolution, and feeds on the darkness of others to ultimately cease them of their existence. There was not a fat chance in hell that he'd allow that to happen a second time. This current Yukine was the real, everlasting Yukine, who strived for peace, victory and glory.
"It's funny..." Yukine added, "Nowadays, it seems as though every person I've met has seen a different side of me, and cannot equate it to the sides of which I've shown to other people." Yukine laughed softly, and wondered if this made him a trustworthy person. "Sephiria, you seem like the person I'm willing to share my secrets with, though you must promise not to tell anyone outside of my guild. In exchange, I'll protect both you and what you have to hide. I am your friend, after all."

Sephiria didn’t show it, but she was pleasantly surprised that Yukine also had eye troubles. Even if it was only for certain moments, he sort of knew how it was to have your eyes become something different. Although her own was on a much more…..permanent scale. Sephiria continued to see things moving slowly, and started to feel the after effects as a headache was forming. She pulled her eyepatch back over her eye, and everything began to move back at normal speeds. Sephiria smiled at Yukine, and got ready to explain her eye’s unique abilities.
“My left eye has the unique skill of allowing me the ability to see everything at a rapidly slow pace. While everything is actually moving in real time, i can plan things and see how something might move before it actually does. While it is extremely useful, it also gives me a headache if I over use it. And I don't know yet because I’ve never used it for too long, but my eye might begin to bleed if I continue to use it after that.” Sephiria explained with a brief rundown, giving the important details and trying to not overdo it as she sometimes did. She hoped it was a reasonable enough explanation for Yukine, and that he would be able to get the gist of her eye from that.
Sephiria listened with great interest, while grabbing plates and eating, to Yukine as he spoke about the incident that occurred to him and how it changed him. It sounded like he was a bit worried about allowing that rebirth again, but when he smiled any fears that might have just vanished. He was too strong willed to allow any of that to happen, and if need came be Sephiria would help him in any way he needed.
Yukine was her friend now, and she would always be there for her friends.
Sephiria smiled at Yukine, stopping her assault on the food in order to respond to Yukine. “I feel like you are already an extremely close friend. You have shared your secrets, and I have shared mine with you. I shall defend your honor whenever you ask of it, and whenever you call on me I shall come to your aid. I will never abandon you, and I swear on my honor that I will never turn on you, no matter what you decide to do with your life.” Sephiria placed her right hand over her heart and closed her eyes to show she was being as truthful as possible. She really would lay her life on the line for Yukine, despite only meeting him earlier. The blonde made had this aura around him that just made him trustworthy. It wasn’t anything she could place, but he just was.
And Sephiria has had friends who were worse people than him anyways.

Yukine was amazed when he heard about the capabilities of Sephiria's left eye. He could only think of one skill that he possessed, able to counter such a great technique, and that was his Hanzo link. With this power, Yukine travelled at speeds rated double that of a bullet, comparable to light and sound, though lesser than the two elements. Albeit, Yukine could see Sephiria conquer obstacles with ease; all with that one eye. It was bedazzling just to hear about it. Yukine, on the contrary, felt bad about what his parallel eyes could do. All they could do was turn him into his hateful self, the one that had disappeared a while ago. He smirked kindly towards this new fact about Sephiria, though, and applauded her for sustaining the pain behind her eye.
[eye=orange]"You have quite the unique ability there, Sephiria." Yukine commented. He wanted to show that Sephiria was special, and should be honoured to possess such a power. It was breathtaking. Even Yukine wished he had that power. In the meantime, Yukine felt as though he had given all of his important facts away, except this:
"My variant of ReQuip magic allows me to combine spirits with weapons to form unique sorts of items. These spirits can also merge with me to give off a distinct power." Yukine felt as though he should always describe as much about himself as Sephiria did with herself. He always liked being on equal terms with people, anyway. He was surprised by Sephiria's last comment, however, which really caught him off-guard.
"I'm glad to have someone like you alongside me." Yukine replied, "With all due respect, I will treat you well and protect you until the very end. Consider everything a good friend would do for another done, because I am willing to keep you satisfied for as long as you live. I've never told such a thing to my other friends before, though I believe they know that already. You, along with my other friends, will always be my top priority. We are indeed extremely close, and you can feel free to ask me whatever you wish. Consider yourself well- deserving of my care and kindness." Yukine gave a warm smile to Sephiria after this, something he had already done several times.

Sephiria continued to finish off the food, making a few nice piles of plate that sat at the table. She had eaten everything and still could eat more, but refrained due to the fact that she didn’t want to seem like a complete glutton. And that Yukine might not appreciate having the poison slayer asking if she could order more on his jewel count. So she simply wiped her face, also trying to kill the blush that had risen when the blonde male had called her eye unique. It wasn’t as if she hadn’t received compliments before, but the poison slayer was just never used to getting them from anyone.
Sephiria was captivated by the magic that Yukine had. It sounded interesting and fun, as the young white haired woman had only met one other ReQuip mage before. She could barely place a name on him however, as it had been so long since she had seen him. Yukine’s involved souls however, which had again sparked the interest of the rising star. She wondered how his magic would work in battle, and made a mental note to work with him in the future. It would probably prove useful, as she had worked with all types of mages and found each of their fighting styles to compliment hers in different ways. She could see them working well together, and making a dangerous team.
Too bad they were in different guilds.
Sephiria wanted to show off her own magic, as she was still a proud dragon slayer despite the fact that she was also a swordsman. So she created a senbon in her hands and began twirling it around. “ReQuip magic huh? Well that is an interesting magic. I myself am a Dragon Slayer.” She threw the senbon in the air and caught it in between her fingers, twirling it once more. “I use poison as my element. It can be interesting to see how I can come up with new idea for attacks.” Sephiria remarked offhandedly, not really thinking about it. She did come up with very different ways to use her poison, not just by hurting a person in general, but also attacking their Magical energy if they were a mage as well.
It was very fun to see a mage grow low on magical energy after only a few minutes of fighting with Sephiria.
The Karasu Kenshi smiled when Yukine said that she could ask him anything and that he would do it. She needed for all of her friends to do one thing specifically for her, and that was keep an eye out for a certain someone.
“I do have one request, if you don’t mind. I need for you to look out for a girl wearing a black cloak, who is about five foot four. Her hair is dyed to look brown, and she’ll be trying to hide her face from view. If you do find her, be extremely careful. She’s very tricky, and might try to get you on her side.”
Sephiria wanted to warn Yukine of Rose’s tricky behavior. The Karasu Kenshi had no doubts of her sister’s love for her, but she did doubt her intentions about her new family in the guild. It was getting to be a bit nerve wracking having to think about eliminating her sister for the good of the world, but Sephiria knew that if she had to she would.
If Rose was determined to destroy the world, Sephiria would stop her.

Yukine watched the waiter approach him one final time as he had a ton of packages ready for Yukije to take home. Yukine sent them all into his pocket dimension, which would just seem as though they had disappeared before anyone's eyes. It was something rather cool about his magic. Yukine had a high reserve for everything, and could store lots of items during meaningful times. Yukine giggled towards Sephiria as, after one glimpse, and for a short moment, he noticed blushing on Sephiria's face. It seemed she reacted well to something Yukine had said, but what?
When Yukine heard that Sephiria was a Dragon Slayer, he was amazed. "A Dragon Slayer?" Yukine repeated in awe, a questionable tone in his voice, "I've heard of power like you. People with your sort of magic tend to be really strong, and it's amazing to see how you can take on the powers of a dragon." Yukine was affected even more when Sephiria had notified she was a Poison Dragon Slayer. "Poison, huh?" Yukine commented, I possess a lineage known as Immortal Blood. It's relevant to poison, though much more dangerous to use. It requires a portion of my blood, though it makes enemies immobile, and close to death, obviously." Yukine was saying all of this to try and show that he had Sephiria had more things in common than they once thought.
"Your wish has been heard loud and clear, Sephiria!" Yukine stated in regards to Rose, "Entrust me with any issue you have, and I promise to help you solve it." Yukine smiled warmly before he gave Sephiria a hug. "I'm glad I met you today, Sephiria!" Yukine commented happily.

Sephiria’s cheeks took on a dark red hue after she was hugged by Yukine, but the poison dragon slayer returned the hug regardless. It was still weird for her to receive any type of physical contact that didn’t involve fighting, but Sephiria was going to enjoy any moment she got like it would be her last. Sephiria smiled, and spoke while the two were still hugging.
“I quite enjoyed meeting you as well Yukine. It definitely gave me a welcome relief from the normal company I have.” Sephiria giggled as she thought about her pet raven, who was probably complaining about something. ‘Wait….where is he anyways. He would normall-Oh no!’ Suddenly, the Karasu Kenshi would break the hug as she reached inside her jacket. Pulling Nightwing out, the bird appeared to be having a bit of trouble breathing. He was still unconscious though, so Sephiria managed to breathe a sigh of relief. She turned back to Yukine with a sheepish smile on her face.
“I’m so terribly sorry about that. I did not mean to break our hug out of the blue. I just can’t let this little guy die, even if he is slightly annoying. You know how people treat family, well he is a part of the only family I have left.” Sephiria placed the bird back in her jacket, making sure he was in a comfortable position. She turned back to Yukine, a smile etched on her face.
Sephiria felt really happy at the moment, and she couldn’t quite put her finger on why she did.

Yukine looked at Sephiria curiously when she hugged him back, and held the hug. To think that the two shared respect so easily and comfortably flattered Yukine. "I'm glad I've made a good difference in your life." Yukine remarked while the two still hugged each other. It was then that Yukine gasped when Sephiria urgently let go of him, breaking the hug, and checked on her raven friend. It seemed the two shared a great bond, just like Sephiria and Yukine. Thanks to her, however, the thoughts of Victoria had disappeared, and Yukine had a new good friend to share stories with. Truthfully, Yukine felt as though he was committing way more during the time in which he dated Victoria. Even with his hateful self separated, Yukine had given up on Victoria. His final words were real. She would have to do a lot to earn his love back, let alone his friendship.
A tear streamed down Yukine's face, however, when Sephiria mentioned the raven being the only part of her family left. Yukine once witnessed his family dead, which gave him the thoughts of no hope and suffering. To think that Sephiria referred to a friendly raven as her last bit of hope was much better than Yukine's interpretation of living. Yukine could easily see the Sabertooth in this woman, which was marvelous. To think Sephiria portrayed the virtues of more than one guild was amazing. Yukine was honoured to have somebody like this by his side. The tear quickly vanished as Yukine shook his head towards Sephiria's comment. "Health comes first!" Yukine replied cheerfully, "I hope this little guy comes to realize how loving you are. I wonder if my own guild members know this about me." Yukine looked at Sephiria curiously after he spoke, though a light smile still rested on his face.
