Skylar has spent a great deal of his life isolated from the world knowing only a hand full of people but he always looks to find new friends. Upon meeting a new person he bestows them with his trust but if they were to give him any sighs of distrust his trust in them would quickly diminish. Skylar tends to be a bit shy when meeting new people and is easily shown by how little he talks cause of how little amount of people he's been in contact with in his life. Skylar likes to spend his time exploring new places and towns that he visits to see the way other people live outside his hometown. When it comes to starting a fight Skylar tries to avoid it at all cost if he can help it. He hates to see people get hurt or worse end up dead. When he see's someone in need of help he rush's in and helps without a second thought. He's no stranger to combat when confronted with someone who is dangerous and running rampant of course Skylar would first try to talk him out of it but when diplomacy fails he has no problem taking him/her on if it means stopping them. Skylar has a short temper towards those who would put innocent people in danger. Skylar likes to feel useful to anyone who needs his help in anyway possible from helping an old women across the street to beating down bad guys at large. Skylar has the natural born leadership skills but prefers not to use them. He'd rather stick to the sidelines and help out where he can and follow someone else's lead and giving council when need be.
When Skylar is in combat his attitude changes a bit. On the inside he's still himself but on the outside he's more attuned to the situation. His face looks far more serious and gives off a menacing look. He doesn't consider fighting a laughing matter at all and hates to resort to it. When in one on one combat Skylar starts out with a small amount of his power and fights his opponents with extreme caution. He watches there every move never taking his eye's off of them at all cost trying to learning there fighting style and patterns to find the best way to take down his opponent. When fight an opponent of equal strength and skill he tends to fight more on instinct and reaction watching his opponents body movement to try and predict how there going to attack next and try and either block, dodge or counter there offense. When a fight gets out of his control and fears for the surrounding people he tends to get more careless trying to find a way to avoid getting hurt. He usually tries to drag the fight out trying to protect the people around him by using his own body if he has to and lure his opponent to a more isolated location.

•Play the Hero - He prefers to handle any dangerous tasks by himself cause he doesn't want to see good people get hurt.
•Feeling useful - He likes to be helpful to those who need his help cause he likes to feel like people can count on him when they need him.

•Harming others - he hates to see innocent people getting hurt cause of something he did being an accident or the result of messing with the wrong people.
•Spiders - He finds the little creepy crawlies to be very unpleasant to be around.
• The feeling of being alone - After his mother died he was left with no family and no friends and ended up isolating himself for a great while until he meet Ryuu and wishes to never go back to feeling that way again.

•To follow the path of his mother - His mother was a powerful medium who spent a great deal of her life helping the ghost of the dearly departed and he wishes to carry on her legacy.
•To find Ryuu's father - Being born as a ghost, Ryuu doesn't know much about himself, the world or what its like to be alive, but that wont stop Skylar from digging up as much info as he can to help Ryuu see his father at least once before passing on.
•My word is my bond - When Skylar makes a promise he does everything in his power to see it through.

•Being alone - Skylar felt what it was like to be alone in this world once before and he doesn't wish to go back.
•Death - Being a medium you'd think death would mean little to Skylar but in truth he lives his life with one particular regret and knows he will end up like Ryuu, trapped in-between the realm of the living and the dead.
•The Dark - A lot of children are afraid of the dark but that fear followed Skylar throughout his life ever sense an incident When he was a child.

He wears a red bandanna all the time on his head to cover up most of his Purple colored hair although some of his hair can be seen leaking out on the left side of his head. He wears a ragged white shirt and dark blue pants with a black sash and a pair of brown boots. If anything he looks a lot like a sailor but he likes these types of clothing because they don't constrict like other clothing.
