- Job: The Masked Guild
Rank: A
Player Requirements: A-Ranked Wizard(s) or above, or 2 B-Ranked Wizards 250 word per post requirement. Thread must be at least 40 posts long.
Job Requirements: Stop the Mysterious "Masked Guild" from destroying Clover Town and reaching the Guild Masters Hall too start some real trouble! They've been bothering Clover Town for about a week now, and are now attempting to ransack the town on their way towards the Guild Masters Hall to steal sensitive documents and records for their own ends! Must defeat either "The Golden Legion" or "The Golden Sword of the Masked Guild" too cause the entire Masked Guild too retreat from Clover Town and abandon their mission.
Job Location: Clover Town
Job Description: In usually lucid Clover Town, everything has been thrown into an uproar as a guild, known as the "Masked Guild" has appeared and harassed the town for the past week. They've been attempting too gain access to the Guild Masters hall while session is not in progress in an attempt too get their hands on some sensitive plans too come, and records from the past. Who knows what it is they want, the location of where certain folk were sent for imprisonment? The next moves of the Legal Guilds? Only they know their own true motives. Who they are and who they serve is a mystery, and they're not talking. They are drapped in all black, with the exception of their masks which are an errie gold, in contrast too the all black attire, complete with cloaks that cover everything underneath their wearing from shoulder too below the knee.
Enemies:
Weak: Masked Initiate x10 (Not nearly as strong as the other members of the Masked Guild, they wear silver masks and attempt too surround their opponents due too their lack of raw skill and force. They come wielding spears, in all black cloaks with their silver masked hiding their features. They will attempt too surround their targets and destroy them quickly with their spears. They will go down with anything above B-Ranked hitting them and even C-Ranked magic will do above average damage. Roll "2 Damage die" per Masked Initiate Attacking you.
Normal: Golden Apprentices x5 (True members of the "Masked Guild", and wizards, their black cloaks and gold masks are symbolic. They wield large scimitars that allow them with their wide girth too swing them in a good area with each swipe. Roll "2 Damage Die" for each of their attacks. They have the ability too leap vast distances with a Telekinetic Jump. They will go down in 5 hits of B-Ranked or above damage, and 10 hits of C-Ranked damage. Anything below this won't do all that much damage too them, but it will still be effective somewhat. We're talking 20 hits of D-Ranked damage if you want too go that far.)
Strong: The Gold Legion x5 (Wizards of the Guild, and higher ranked members of the "Masked Guild", they come wielding mighty bo staffs, tipped with gold and white rings welded into them that make clanging noises as they march. They specialize in Earth-Make, and Earth Manipulation magic. Their spells consist of slamming their staffs into the ground, and causing reactions from the earth, such as pillars rising from beneath their opponents, the ground splitting apart and creating 20 foot canyons for opponents too fall in, causing groups of 10 foot long and wide rocks too slice from the ground and levitate in the area before sending them slamming into their opponents. Their golden masks and black attire match perfectly with their golden staff and white and gold rings at the top. Their Earth magic deals A-Ranked damage and they roll "4 Damage Die" when casting any ability. Wind Magic will help you by redirecting a lot of their Earth attacks, and being able too float when the ground splits under you doesn't hurt either. Also if you're launched into the air by a pillar from underneath you, Wind will sure come in handy in mid-air. Takes 15 hits of B-Ranked damage or higher too bring them down, as they will defense themselves with Earth Magic, and Earth Walls at every turn.
Boss: The Golden Sword of the Masked Guild (Standing in a completely gold cloak, and gold mask. Is their leader. He wields a gigantic, two handed scimitar of seemingly gold, with silver runic writing etched throughout it. He is a Requip wizard. He has three forms. The first, is golden armor, sparkling and thick platemail. The golden helmet glitters with a thin vision slit in it and wings. His gigantic scimitar remains in this form. His second form is similar golden plate mail, but it's seems more behemoth like with four golden wings that allow him too fly, as they flap constantly. The third and final form is Bushido like golden armor, etched here and there with silver. His weapon becomes a Katana, and his helmet is pure shinobi style, with a crescent golden moon sideways on top, and a mask of silver upon the face. He rolls "5 Damage Die" for A-Ranked Damage in his normal form with the gold cloak, gold mask, and single Zweihander scimitar. He rolls "6 Damage Die" A-Ranked, in the second, four winged form of his armor. He rolls "10 Damage Die" of S-Ranked damage in the final, Bushido Form of his armor after he Requips. His katana is blazing fast, and can Reflect Spells if he rolls a successful block against one of your spells. He requips through the forms at a shuffle every 5 posts, or into flying form if his enemies are aerial. He gets "5 Block Die" automatically each round. It takes a whopping 30 hits of B-Ranked damage or higher too bring this golden armored, requipping behemoth of a knight too his knees.)
Reward: 25,000 Jewels, and Renowned Fame Within Clover Town.

The wet, desolate streets of Clover Town rested in silence as the starry black sky wept its last tears over it. The water in the portholes shimmered by the glow of the bright, yellow street lamps. The small, green trees on the roadside swayed as the strong breeze hit them. Some houses gave out white or yellow lights onto the street, while the others were pitch black. Most likely, the inhabitants found this cold and clammy atmosphere perfect for resting away.
It seemed like the clouds had gotten a sudden fascination to the moon today and wrapped themselves around it. The moon's faint glow passed through them, coloring them white from grey. The cool monsoon air carried a sweet moist scent that was soothing to the senses of any individual who came across it.
The pattering of the rain, which was now deaf to ears, was interrupted time by time during the night.
"Again, why the hell am I here for?" A question escaped Aedre's lips as she walked through the streets, her footsteps reverberating slightly. She didn't carry anything to protect herself from the rain, mostly because her element simply bounced off her skin; just because she wished that and secondly cause it was barely even there. The young woman was now quite close to the entrance of Clover Town, as she kept an eye out for any person approaching in her direction. She was told that there was another mage who was going to accompany her and there was a good chance that they approach by the same route as well. Funny thing was, Aedre really had no reason to take this job, afterall, being part of a Dark Guild gave her no reason to help get rid of another one. However, being part of the Kugeki she had to make sure of their numbers and power. What better way than having a conflict with them and finding out?
"Masked Guild... Stupid name for sure." She let out, as she came right before the entrance that welcomed you into Clover Town. Since she had not seen a single soul that could be her potential partner, Aedre had to believe that they'd finally meet here.
So crossing her arms across her chest and resting her back on one of the walls of a house, the pinkette simply stood by tapping her foot on the ground with pendulum-like precision.
The streets of the city still rested in lifeless silence except the gentle, occasional pattering of the raindrops that couldn't get you wet even in half a day. The city lay there just like it had for many a changing years; ready to rise when the sun's auburn rays would start to cast grey shadows over it.

A small child, looking less then ten at first glance, features hidden underneath a black hoodie. He was carrying an umbrella with gloved hands and was walking the road leading to Clover Town, stepping around puddles and taking cover under anything and everything when the rain picked up, only moving when it died down. This was Simon Baggons, publicly known as Simon the Phoenix #1 of the Rising Stars. Funny thing really, a large portion of the world thought he was an actual Phoenix as he had only appeared in Sorcerers Weekly in his phoenix form. Only members of Fairy Tail and those who had met him in person knew his true form of a human boy. However even his 'true form' was deceptive, as he looked several years younger then he was. The 14 year old and experienced mage wore the guise of a child no older then 10 it was an almost perfect natural disguise. Except his face, he was far from baby faced, the extra years showed on his face and anyone who looked straight at him would see he was older then he appeared. However in the dark with his umbrella and hood casting shadows over his face, no one would be the wiser. Simon was on a mission, to stop a small dark guild from raiding Oak Town, he would have gotten there hours ago had it not been for the rain and a second less relevant reason. When wet Simon's phoenix powers didn't work so not only could he not fly, but if he ran using his god leg magic there was no doubt he would get wet. So here he was: walking.
Much later then he wanted to be Simon finally reached Clover Town he counted his blessings when he saw that everything was still clam and peaceful. His sharp eyes located his job 'partner' Aedre Crawford. Water Dragon Slayer, potential A-Rank, confirmed member of Savage Skull. Simon had gotten an ear ache listening to the magic council representative lecturing him on how to handle her. To be honest Simon didn't actually remember too much, just a few high lights. He was supposed to stop the masked guild and find out if Aedre or Savage Skull had connections to them or were collaborating with them and if possible to bring Aedre in for her crimes at Era. In all honesty the whole thing seemed wrong to Simon, fighting along side some one then turning around and trying to attack them. But as a Rising Star he had certain responsibility and had to at least 'try' and by 'try' Simon meant say he tried. However honor codes or not he was going to try and have some fun. Knowing he was likely visible to Aedre, Simon kept his head lowered and walked with stumbling feet, swaying side to side as he walked in the rain.
When he was only a couple meters from Aedre and the entrance to Clover Town Simon's legs buckled and he fell forward onto the ground. As he fell forward Simon turned his head side-ways, away from Aedre, as to prevent his face from hitting the ground. The spot he had chosen was almost dry, or at least dry enough that it wouldn't soak into his clothes. Simon groaned and clutched his stomach and pretended to shiver. In reality a phoenix had abnormally high body heat and he was perfectly warm, but a lost kid wandering out alone in the rain would without a doubt be freezing their butts off. He mumbled "m...m...Mommy...." before going silent and closing his eyes. Did he feel bad about attempting to deceive a random stranger into thinking he was a poor lost child in need? A little, but at the same time he didn't want to make his presence as a famous mage working for the magic council known to a dark mage either.

It had all been a game. A rather interesting game to play back then. Aedre had risked it all and approached the Magic Council as the real her; the one with the blonde hair and all. Not a single soul between the countless goody-two-shoes could figure out who she was. Well, they did, in a way; considering that they got her real name and affiliation. But little did they know that this young woman was the same pink haired lady who walked the steps of the Council every couple of weeks or so? They didn't.
Absolutely clueless retards they were. It was so damn easy, she just had to approach them and reveal her real motives and they accept all of it in a second, albeit with certain doubts. But these doubts never stopped them from saying no or arresting her right there and then. You see, Aedre was a strange Dark Mage. Her loyalty undoubtedly laid by Savage Skull, but to the Council's dismay, she did not have a speck of dust on her sheets. Other than being part of the infamous Guild, Aedre couldn't even make it to the last page of the newspapers and magazine as a threat.
The only thing that was wrong on her part was attacking Dryaw, who later on ended up as part of the Magic Council. Now that could have made her a real villain, but luckily, her appearance was fairly different then.
But surprisingly, none of her Guildmates were ever given the chance to doubt her motives due to such a clean past. First off, she was the niece of the Guild Master, which naturally instilled an un-wished sense of respect in the people that worked for him. But more importantly, it was because of her position in the Kugeki; King of Deception. Something that required her to avoid making the headines as much as possible.
When she undertook this job, the pinkette was told that she'll be accompanied by someone. She only remembered one of the officers saying something about a kid. So Aedre had placed a bet that it might be a young kid accompanying her, since the younger generation of mages was only getting more and more talented. Aedre personally knew a kid... if you could even call Sinali that. Afterall, the young undead girl was quite a fearsome individual who was capable of holding her own in a battle.
Drip. Drop. Drip.
The rain had ceased even more now and Aedre's frosty eyes took notice of them, as well as a small figure that approached her from a distance. Even though this person was nothing more than a silhoutte, she could still figure out its gender due to the type of clothing. Carrying nothing but an umbrella, the boy was swaying side to side when he neared the pinkette.
A second later, his knees seemed to give away and he fell on them. While Aedre left the support of the wall and took a step forward, her delicate Slayer hearing caught a low groan from the young boy and something along the lines of, "m...m...Mommy...."
Almost instantly, a smirk graced her lips, she found it hard to believe that this boy expected her to fall for his trick. He was great actor, accepted. But his biggest flaw was apparently ignorance, since he forgot that his magical aura would still leak. And boy, Aedre really like the way it seemed at the moment. He was undoubtedly a force to be reckoned.
Walking up to his side, her boots were only centimeters away from the boy. She bent down slightly at the waist, as her delicate fingers caught hold of the back of his collar and pulled him up without a second's delay. The pull was almost gentle, but more with sharp precision.
Aedre just made sure that he was now standing on his feet and now they stood side-to-side, facing opposite directions. A low chuckle escaped her lips, as the hand left his collar and.... Smack! A hit was landed on the back of the boy's head.
"Nice acting! But I really don't have the time to watch a shitty drama movie that's centered around us." Aedre stated, as she turned around slightly to face the entrance of Clover Town, while her hands were dug into the pockets of her jeans.
"For formality's sake, I'm Aedre.... and I only help cute kids."

"Tch. Whatever be boring I don't mind." Simon turned around to see where Aedre was looking "Also don't call me a kid I'm older then I look." On his feet again Simon hastily raised his umbrella back over his head and was relieved to find that he had remained dry enough to avoid losing access to his phoenix magic. "So you may have heard of me I'm Simon Baggons, the Rising Star dude who did the fighting things and apparently am a paragon of a law abiding starting mage according to the MC." He scratched the back of his head underneath his hoodie "So yeah I'm here to help you fight the masked guild people. So lucky you having like a super clean record and stuff, I'm just here in case you start acting like a dark guild mage. So if you just follow the job request as instructed then we shouldn't have a problem. Try anything funny and I have to bring you in so please don't do anything funny I'm not in the mood to be a dirty double crosser. Even if it's for the magic council."
Simon was feeling oddly chatty today, he wasn't sure why he was talking so openly with the dark mage. From what he was told she was supposed to be a bad guy yet she hadn't committed any real crimes. The whole situation didn't sit well with him. He shook his head to try and clear his thoughts, there was a job to do and he had to do it. The legal and morality issues of the situation would have to wait because at the moment Simon didn't care too much about them. "Sorry I'm being overly dramatic about this good guy/bad guy stuff let's just do the job. So do you have any idea where the masked guild people will be attacking from or when? I would recon the area myself but rain is kinda my Achilles heel I can't move too freely with it pouring down." Simon bit his tongue, rattling off too much information again. He couldn't believe he had just told a potential future enemy he had a weakness to rain. Glancing at Aedre and raising an eyebrow he thought about the possibility that he was being charmed in some way but he had no real way of knowing. It was infuriating his thoughts were all over the place, his mouth was running like a motor, it was raining he had no idea where the enemy was and a half minute ago he had been smacked by a girl. The whole thing was a sure fire recipe to put Simon out of sorts.
