Personality: Destiny was originally brought up by a non-magic using family. However, they always seemed to know that there was definitely something there... Something within him, inside that was extrememly unnatural. Due to this, he got no attention from his family and everyone around him treated him like a incurable illness or disease and as a lost child. This led to everyone disliking him and they treated him badly. His father once tried to get rid of him by throwing me away into a bear cave for me to be eaten but was unsuccessful as the male adult of the bears was heading out of the cave as they were approaching and chased them both almost slashing off my neck which is how Destiny ended up with a scar on his neck. After being betrayed by everyone around him he got kicked out and sent to an orphanage in the neighbouring town. He got bullied at the orphanage by many of the kids who thought they were better than him and picked on him continuously saying that he was weak. However, one day a group of magic users who were on vacation came into the orphanage and noticed something strange about Destiny so they decided to adopt him and took him back home with them to somewhere called Fiore. They noticed that Destiny had some magical power inside of him and they taught him how to use it and how to control the power and also how to manipulate it into doing different things. It was there that Destiny met the first friend that he had ever had and her name was Lucy. One day, Destiny was being bullied yet again but this it was because he was adopted as well as because of his unusual red eyes and hair so everyone picking on him and beating him up but then Lucy stepped in and told them to stop but they didn’t listen so she kicked them all in the privates and they ran off crying and from that day she was always there for me if I needed help. We played together quite often and one day she gave a scarf as a gift of true friendship. She gave it to him on that fateful day. The day his life changed forever. Three hours later after having been given the scarf, the town he was living in was attacked by bandits. He went to find Lucy and found her hiding. He went over to her and then 2 bandits came over and they tried to run away. One of the bandits was threatening Lucy and nearly attacked her with his sword but Destiny ran into him and stopped him from attacking but then he knocked Destiny away making him unable to move. He went to slice Destiny and would’ve killed him but Lucy got in the way and protected him from the blow taking the hit. However, Lucy was impaled very deeply and was stabbed 2 more times and then she dropped dead in front of Destiny. Destiny only 4 years old at the time regrets not having enough strength and blames himself for Lucy being killed and that he was too weak to save his best and only friend at the time. These events made him slightly cold-hearted and made him quite short-tempered and he would also get very angry really easily sometimes leading to fights. He always the scarf wherever he goes and treats it like a treasure and is his most precious belonging. However, Destiny is also very passionate and does whatever he can to protect his true ‘family’ so that he doesn’t fail and lose yet another dear friend. Due to his devastating past, he understands many people’s horrific history and also understands many people’s feelings/emotions and respects their privacy and secrets.
When Destiny is in battle, he often gets extremely fired up and always uses his full strength all the time and gives it his all because he knows that he needs to become stronger to defeat those bandits that destroyed his town and murdered his Lucy (who he thought of as family, as a real sister). His determination to do this is what gives him his resillience and risk-taking traits. When under a leader Destiny will often obey them and take their instructions and advice, however, he can sometimes be a little reckless and very angry and could then rush in on his own without listening to anyone else despite what the consequences might be. As well as this he has a bright red wristband on his right wrist. The scarf also covers a scar on the left side of his neck. He is thought to have been born with the symbol of a phoenix on the back of his neck.
