Real Name: Pierre van Duval
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Birthday: 9/25
Sexuality: Bisexual
Special Characteristics: Pierre has the unique bloodline of a family of cat-demons who roamed the Kingdom of Sin before abandoning their son, Pierre. Because of his heritage, Pierre possesses cat-like traits and attributes, but has no real impact on his daily life.
Personality:
Pierre is a very individualistic; this is the very first thing one can automatically identify with him. He relies on himself only, never trusting others to complete the simplest of tasks if he were on the receiving end. Not because he has trusting issues, but simply because he believes that anything that others do for him he can do for himself, only better. This slowly builds up to his superiority complex. For a long while, Pierre has believed himself to be above others of all shapes and sizes, species and races, magicks and strength. Regardless of this complex, instead of boasting his superiority, he instead subtly points out what makes other inferior, and often means what he says. Meaning, if he dares to accuse anyone of anything, he has other sources to support his claim. He aims to please himself, not others, but always doing anything with an impressive look.
Although living with his complex. Pierre claims to have an innate love for humanity, but not for the reasons most would expect. He has such a passionate love for humanity for the simple reason of their nature. But something more specific. At a young age, Pierre had grown attracted to the unpredictability of human nature, and realized how amusing and entertaining it was to indulge in the observations of it in its rawest form. Because of this love, Pierre has grown into the habit of putting people in chaotic, conflicting situations for the sake of observation, deeming him manipulative and somewhat unable to feel sympathy and coming off as apathetic. Because of these habits, he has come to an understanding of human nature and can often predict it with high accuracy.
Pierre, at first, can come off as cunning and charming, but his manipulative nature can often ruin any bonds he starts. Though his looks do not cease to please, Pierre is generally uncaring of his relationships with others, clearly independent and anti social when it doesn’t pique his interest. Because of this trait, it adds to the fact that he may deem impatient when requested to do, say, or commence something by others’ orders. In this rather extensive segment of his personality, it is clear that in addition with his superiority complex, he always shows to have a mocking persona with high expectations, looking after himself before others.
Regardless of his lack of empathy and sympathy, and finding joy in the reactions and doings of people in chaotic situations, Pierre gives off the atmosphere a non-caring, jolly young man without a care in the world; taking things as they come. Although he may seem charming, Pierre has a false sense of romance and only finds bliss in those who can see eye to eye with him, or indulge in his chaotic activities with the same, innocent yet vicious smile, giving others the chance to be equals with him, but usually requiring a certain amount of trust and reliability.
Pierre, feeling as if he has no true responsibility, sees tasks and duties as work he can do better than the next person, giving him a sense of self relief and pride, though again, not boasting with it. When one would first meet Pierre, he would come off as a rather friendly, generous, and open to conversation. And although none of this is really true, Pierre would go out of his way to make a lasting impression, establish a false sense of trust, and go above and beyond just for the simplest pleasures of observation and the joy of knowing he caused such trauma. Regardless, if anything, he reveals to be a rather neutral character, lawful nor truly insane, but a rather unstable position between the two, along with lacking a sense of morals, he has no restraint to gain what he wishes, no matter how he may be required to act. May it be fooling others into believe he’s one of just and law, or revealing a rather psychotic nature and let his claws unsheathe. He is a self-proclaimed neutral, but in truth, a chaotic wanderer.
Loyalty is hard to obtain with such a brute, but very possible. This is often shown in combat scenarios, where Pierre will often execute his actions based on free will and independency, but will cooperate with ‘leaders’, not ‘obey’ them.
Likes:
- “Often times, we learn more from children than we learn from their bearers.” Pierre has the subtle attraction to young children, and not in the way most would think. An attraction to their fragile minds and how they interpret conflict and traumatic situations. He sees this as a rather raw form of human nature. However, despite heavy referencing to this fascination, human nature is not such a big outlet to his excitement.
”It’s the little things that matter. - But I suppose such a small mind couldn’t understand that.” Pierre finds pleasure in life’s simplest gifts.
”The most beautiful sound is the one found in silence.” Being the independent person he is, Pierre finds silence quite relaxing when wanting to be left alone.
Dislikes:
- “Do NOT touch them, child.” Pierre has a passionate irritation for people who tease or play with his tail or ears.
- ”No, I will not purr for you. Go die.” ...Extending from the first one, Pierre finds a subtle hatred in those who ask him to do anything cat-like.
- ”I will hit you in places that should never be hit if that mouth does not close.” As stated, Pierre has low tolerance for those who talk too much. Although not disliking social butterflies, he certainly wishes for some space.
Motivations:
- “Isn’t it amazing how unloyal and self centered mankind can be?” Pierre finds a fascination so charming in human nature, that it encourages him to do what he does, better.
- ”The smell of iron is often richest in the territory of chaos.” Pierre finds the smell of blood rather pleasant in conflicting situations, inspiring him shed it or cause it.
- ”Domination at it’s finest, child.” Pierre draws his greatest strength from his superiority complex, the thought of being ‘on top’ is encouraging to him.
Fears:
- ”Only if Karma has come to collect my debt, shall I fall.” Pierre has the subtle fear of becoming inferior to those unworthy of it.
- ”Get. The fuck. Away. Peasant!” Pierre, clearly, has a large fear for large canines.
- ”Not even I shall reign powerless to such a foolish, cliche fate.” Pierre has the subtle fear of death, or, feeling powerless, rather.
