"A dragon huh?" he said with a big grin on his face. "Its a pretty good replica, but I wonder how it compares to the real thing?" He flew backwards getting some distance and then suddenly it let out a huge blast of black ice at him. He raised an eyebrow and dodged out of the way narrowly. "Your breath isn't nearly as wide nor as powerful as the Golden Dragon or Acnologia."

He flew forward like a rocket and hit the dragon directly on the head with his own. IT seemed the beast was ridiculous strong because he barely cracked it and the blow left him dazed. He shook himself off and flew back. "One day that will work...i'm sure of it." He dodged another blast of dark ice, but this one was much closer. If it hadn't of been for the magical quality of his clothing he probably would of been hurt by it. That's how close it was. He had thought himself clearly out of the range, but it seemed that the dragon had meant to throw him off guard with the first one. It had intentionally made it narrower so that when Zack tried to dodge it next he wouldn't dodge it correctly. That was clever. He glanced over at the mage who was wielding it. The man was standing there with a smug look on his face.

It seemed that whatever this dragon was capable of he hadn't seen all of it yet. He needed to destroy it as soon as possible. The destruction of such a large construct might even cause enough strain on the user to knock him out. He did look pretty tired. This had to be at least an S class construct, if not higher somehow. This man's knowledge seemed too great for just a mere possession. Could he have been a maker mage before this and the posession had just boosted him to a level that was almost that of a H rank.

"I may have needed Zenshin to take down the golden draogn. I may have failed to take down Acnologia, but you're ice dragon is nothing compared to them...even if you did name it a 'dragon king'." he said with a grin preparing himself for his next wave of attacks.

    ---------------
Devon watched wondering how best to help or if she should at all. Her spear wouldn't last much longer. She wasnt' exactly a 'non-killer' type. No, she preferred to fight her opponents head on and take them out so they didn't get back up ever again. She must be able to help Zack somehow though.

The five crescent-shaped projectiles were a mite bit too fast for the Wraith to dodge or defend and they simply hit the creature in the gut at varying angles. The force of the impact was so strong that it sent the Wraith reeling back and crashing into a wall behind it. A crater formed on the wall and before her adversary could strighten itself up, Aedre shot forward in its direction. Her arms were outstretched on either side- as they morphed into streams of boiling water with a single, loud crack.
With a grin spreading across her face, the pinkette crashed one of her liquid arms on the ground and launched herself high in the air. By the same time, the Wraith had managed to get itself out of the crater and properly in the open.
Shaking its head, the creature took the liberty to look out in the open; trying to find the female that it was fighting all along. Under the hood of darkness that it wore, its eybrows might have crinkled in confusion at seeing her amiss from the scene. Afterall, it had suffered a momentary blackout when it had crashed into the wall and had been unable to make out any of Aedre's actions that might've been set into action in that fraction of a second.
A faint shadow right about its head warned the Wraith and as it turned to look up- the two colossal-sized water streams landed on its head and crashed him into the ground this time.
The Wraith realized its follies quite quickly; the fact that it needed to improve its own reaction timing. The creature noticed how the female was quick on her feet as well as keeping up the array of attacks on it. A delay of mere moments can cost its life in today's battle; something to fear about.
The water from the attacks splashed all around; wetting the Wraith completely, yet causing a sly grin to spread across the featureless face that lay beneath the cowl of its dark cloak.
With a crinkling and crushing sound, the water that had spread around froze into a colossal mass of black ice; something very odd for the liquid that should've been absorbed into the ground instead.
'Crap.' The pinkette mentally cursed, as she landed from her high fall. But instead of gaining a firm balance on the ground, the Slayer missed her footing completely and ended up landing with her bottom on the ice. By then the Wraith had gotten up from the ground and was floating in mid-air all again, this time with a purple magic circle hovering in front of its face.
'Won't make it that easy for you.' Aedre mused within her head, as an ethereal blue light swirled around both her feet; changing into water and then melting the ice floor below. Quite evidently, the water was not of normal temperature any more- but instead boiling and letting off a decent amount of steam.
The ice in the immediate area around the pinkette's feet melted off, looking like two small holes on the floor that had been covered with a thick sheet of ice for a good distance all around.

Zack stared at the shadow ice dragon. It was a true work of art, but one he would bring down with all his might. It was a shame he didn't have the burning blade to aid him. He was sure that with that he could easily bring down such a beast. He lunged forward suddenly and then another blast of ice was fired. However, rather than leaping to the side or going up he threw himself forward and skimmed along the ground barely touching it. The blast of ice flew past his back missing him entirely, but freezing the building behind. He flew up once he neared the beast and stabbed it in the chest with one of his blades, the blade of Notus. The beast roared out as if it had been mortally wounded and he saw that the possessed man had clutched his head and moved it about. It was almost as if he had been mentally damaged by the blow. Could it be possible that he'd somehow linked himself to this creation in order to give it even more power. Could that be why it seemed beyond the level of an S rank creation? He didn't know for certain, but what he did know was that he was suddenly thrown backwards. It was as if it let out a surge of shadow magic that threw him back. He watched in surprise and interest as its wound seemed to heal. The mage though looked more exhausted.

It seemed that every time he hit the beast the posessed mage used his magic to heal it and blast Zack back at expense of an a large amount of magic power and a large amount of pain on his part. Zack did not like to see people in pain, but he had no choice. He just needed to trigger enough pain to knock the man out cold. He did not think this. He merely knew that was what had to be done and thus charged forward once more. The beast once more prepared to launch out a blast of ice, but its mouth was slammed shut. It seemed Devon had decided to use the last bit of her spear's power, for now anyway, in order to shut its mouth. She'd rammed the blade straight through slamming the head closed and pinning it closed as long as the spear was stuck. It would be difficult for it to break free. She winked at Zack. "His roaring was getting on my nerves." she said and flew off. "Make sure you get the spear back for me."

Zack nodded and surged forward. The mage was weakened further by this latest blo. He still was concious.. The more damaging the blow the more it would hurt the mage it seemed. Now how how to cause the most damage to this ice dragon. "Let's see how you handle this." he said and took a deep breath. "SKY KING'S HOWL." he roared and launched a poweful A rank blast of cutting demon slaying wind straight at it. It was forced back by the strength of the blow and heavily damaged, but not yet taken down. The explosion following the initial impact definitely helped with the damage. The mage was barely concious, but the dragon was now heavily damaged. It wouldn't be long now before it fell.

(In terms of enemies this possessed human is the only one left that i'm fighting. I think I took down a hellfire demon(weak), and an ice wraith(normal) and i'm fighting a strong. Not sure if the other (normal) is beaten).

A surge of water launched the woman in the air, as she directed herself towards the Wraith and turned sharply in mid-air using both feet in succession. A snapping aerial cartwheel in a slanted direction landed on the Wraith's jaw- sending it flying in the opposite direction, while Aedre landed on the ice-floor below. The water around her feet cushioned the landing this time, melting off the solid soon after.
There wasn't much time to waste and the pinkette realized this in all its seriousness. She was honestly annoyed of dealing with this Wraith rather than focusing on the only enemies that truly mattered; the possessed civilians.
The Slayer placed her palms forth, aiming them in the direction of her adversary who was yet to recover from the daze of her kick. Her magical energy consolidated around the Wraith in a matter of seconds, enveloping it in a swirling mass that morphed into water and was shaped like an orb. Floating in mid-air and taking the Wraith along with it, the sphere covered the demonic creature completely, trapping it within with great force. The sphere was virtually inescapable, unless the creature considered destroying it in some way- which looked quite unlikely in the given conditions.
Aedre brought both her palms close, causing the sphere to reduce its size and be even more pressurized; thus letting a feeling of being pressed from all sides would envelop her opponent's guts.
With a smirk decorating her lips, the woman turned around on her heels; her hands snapping away from their previous positions, as the orb now seemed to be capable of sustaining itself in place without the help of its caster.
Blue eyes now shifted over to the possessed civilian; as the Slayer finally had the opportunity to worry about a more valuable opponent- only to have her breath hitch in her throat for a second.
    "ICE MAKE : GRIZZLY BEAR!"
There stood a massive bear made of dark ice, growling loudly and pounding its front paws on the ground. Its sudden appearance made an instinctive cringe to form on Aedre's features, but she soon pulled it off with ease. Showing any kind of weakness or surprise was not her style.
"Quite some creation you got there." She complimented, not withholding the sarcasm that laced her words as well.
Her right hand stretched to her side and she opened the palm; making a blue magic circle to appear in front of it.
    "...."
Quick whips of wind were heard and two circular, blade like projections shot from thin air and cut the possessed civilian near his shoulder blades, bringing forth a spurt of blood from the wound and a quick weakening of the knees as well. The blades passed through and then changed direction, once again aiming for the civilian, who dodged it flawlessly this time.
"Those should keep you busy while I deal with your lil' teddy~"

The thing with ice dragons is that they generally couldn't stand the heat. Unfortunately, Zack didn't possess any real fire spells except for the flame sword one he had used previously. So rather than give literal heat he decided instinctively to relentlessly pound this beautiful if fearsome ice creature with everything he had. He'd essentially, with a little bit of help, severely cracked this creature and it was no longer healing as quickly due to its mage being almost unconcious. Zack grinned and flew in at high speed once more. The beast let out a blast of ice, which whilst he hadn't thought of as its mouth was sealed he was ready for it and dropped down so he was barely skimming the ground. Or at least he thought he was ready. The blow caught his foot, just barely, and froze it to the ground halting him in place and causing him to slam into said ground. It seemed the beast had fired the ice blast from its nostrils so it had been thinner, but had got closer to the ground. It was an awkward position to be in and the dragon was advancing with claws  at the ready. It could finish him in a single ice blast if it tried. It was then that Zack vanished in a shimmer of air. The dragon and barely concscious mage looked about wildly and then they saw Zack coming from above like a spear of the gods. It was too late for either to react.

As he got close he spun and did a powerful axe kick to the base of the spear imbedded in its head. It was a powerful blow and sent the spear into the beast further. Yet the real damage was done by the shockwave of the blow. The spear worked as a conduit and transferred it into the beast where it echoed through its almost crystalline structure and amplified until the beast exploded into big chunks of ice. The dark mage, the possessed civilian let out a startled yell before falling unconcious. As they did so a strange dark shape emerged from it and then winked out of existence. Zack stared for a moment, but shrugged and tossed the spear up to the waiting Devon before turning to watch the battle Aedre was involved in.

Unfortunately, he wouldn't have much time to enjoy the spectacle and analyse this wielder whose swords were so very similar to his own. For as he just settled down his senses picked up another powerful mage approaching. He turned quickly swords at the ready and saw another posessed civilian, but this one was accompanied by an ice wraith. However, rather than the wraith doing anything directly it appeared to be wrapped around the civilian as both a protection and a magic amplifier. Zack was quite weary from the battle against one unamplified civilian and the other battles he had faced. This one was going to be tough.

Suddenly, Zack vanished again and appeared in front of the civilian going for a powerful punch in the face. The man didn't even react and just got sent flying through a wall. The blow was precise and would of knocked any normal human unconcious, but the mage just got up and walked clear of the rubble as if nothing had happened, a smile on its face. This was going to be tough. Things were getting interesting again.

Aedre clicked her tongue in annoyance, as she opened both her palms to let her trusty dual swords materialize in her hands. It seemed she had to use them on a higher frequency today. But, then again, they were the best way of dealing with her quick-footed opponents in the most effective way possible. Close combat was her forte and the swords just added to the deathly precision of hers.
    'Uh-oh'
The ice creation of a bear that was supposed to serve as her adversary, was crumbling from one side. However, it wasn't destroying all by itself, instead it was generating something from the ice that made its own body. Aedre watched with curiosity as big chunks of ice fell off from the animal's side and coalesced together on the floor; making what had started to take the form of another Grizzly.
"Oh, its a buy-one-get-one-free kind of sale, huh?" She mused rhetorically, while setting herself in the direction of both the beasts. Let them be one or two, she had to deal with them in the end.
The pinkette closed in quickly, but so did the twin bears. Instinctively, Aedre spun to the left, sacrificing her opposite flank to accept the rush of the closest monster. Her right arm became helplessly pinned to her side as the bear wrapped its great legs around her, but she managed to keep her left arm free to draw up her second sword. Ignoring the pain of the bear's squeeze, the Slayer set the hilt Excalibur firmly against her hip and allowed the momentum of the second charging bear to impale it on the blade.
In its frenzied death throes, the second ice bear pulled away, taking the light-teal blade along with its body.
The remaining monster bore her to the ground under its weight. The pinkette worked her free hand frantically to keep the deathly ice teeth from gaining a hold on her throat, while the knee of her right leg aimed high into its guts. The sudden attack caused the beast to bounce and retreat slightly, so that its grip on her other arm loosened and the woman captured to opportunity to drive the sword into its neck.
Big chunks of ice fell cold on top of her body and she quickly picked herself up from the ground, her eyes already making a check for the possessed civilian and the wraith.
While the latter was still trapped in the water orb that she made for him, the civilian was seen disappearing and reappearing momentarily in the area in an attempt to fend off the two chakrams that Aedre had set behind his tail. In his frenzy of doing just the dodging, the civilian had forgotten to observe that Aedre was already finished with his creations and the woman took this opportunity to divert the chakrams away from the civilian.
"Your teddy doesn't know that one should never offer a sale to a lady." The Slayer quipped, loud enough to let her opponent hear it. Then without another thought, she bore in his direction, as in the back of her mind she made a firm decision to just cripple this civilan once and for all- she couldn't kill him afterall.
    'Such a pity.'
Excalibur had flown from the floor and straight into her hand, for the ice of the bear's body had melted off and there was nothing that could hold back the blade from being wielded by its rightful owner. Once in her hand, the two swords went whirling and jabbing, thrusting high and low, thus being too fast for the possessed civilian to deflect both.
Green liquid oozed from many small wounds, but the civilian seemed able to shake off the punctures of the slender blades as no more than a discomfort. By this time, it had formed some kind of axe out of a shadowy aura and had it arc down on the pinkette. Though she was able to deflect its path, the effort numbed her arm. Again, the opponent swung his axe. This time she was able to spin out of its killing sweep, and the completion of her rotation left the overbalanced civilian stumbling and open to a counter. Aedre didn't hesitate, driving one of her blades deep into her opponent's side.
The civilian howled in agony and launched a backhand swing in retaliation. Aedre had supposed that her last thrust was fatal and her surprise was total when the flat head of the axe smashed into her ribs and launched her through the air. The civilian charged quickly after, meaning to finish off this dangerous opponent of his before she could regain her footing.
But, alas for him, Aedre was as nimble as a cat. She landed in a roll and came up to meet the civilian's charge with one of her swords firmly set. His axe helplessly poised above his head, the surprised man couldn't stop his momentum before he impaled his belly on the wicked point. Still, he glared at the Slayer and began to swing his axe. Already convinced of the superhuman endurance of the civilian, Aedre had kept up her guard this time. She knifed her second blade just under the first, opening the lower part of her adversary's abdomen from hip to hip.
The civilian's axe fell harmlessly to the ground and dissipated into thin air, as he grabbed at his wound, desperately trying to keep his belly from spilling out. His head lolled from side to side, as the world around him probably spun and he felt himself falling into an endless pit.
It was just then that Aedre realized something of crucial importance--- "Do not kill the civilians." That's what the job sheet said and... that's exactly what Aedre had done. She had killed- or, well, almost killed.
It would only take a fool now to think that the civilian had any chance of survival, not after so much blood was spilling out of his open wounds.
"Curses." The pinkette muttered under her breath, as she heard a huge splash of water just behind her. Turning around, she noticed that the Wraith had escaped out of the liquid sphere and was now speeding in her direction.
She readied her swords once again, all the while hoping that her grave mistake of a minute ago would only cost her a few jewels from the reward and somewhere in the back of her mind, she made a note to apologize to Zack about this.
The mistake was a result of her very nature- for the woman was not used to leaving her opponents alive. She killed; murdered, because that was the only way of ensuring that her opponents on the battlefield wouldn't let out her identity or any other information out in the open.
A swooshing noise past her and Aedre witnessed the Wraith flying past her and swooping down on the fallen civilian. The Wraith's figure his out the civilian's body from her vision, but she noticed the bright flash of blue light that spoke of a spell being cast.
She simply blinked, not really caring what the Wraith was up to and charged a step forward to close the distance and let both her swords pierce through the creature's back and through its body.
It screamed in pain, a bloody, chilling scream; but disappeared in a plume of black mist soon after. Its disappearance allowed the woman to notice the piece of ice that now covered the civilian's abdomen right where she had opened it. The blood flow had stopped almost miraculously and the civilian barely seemed to have any consciousness, strength or willingness to fight.
A bemused smile made its way up her lips at the sight, 'Guess I should have shown some gratitude to Mr. Wraith.'
