It was a typical weekend night in Hargeon Town. Pubs and inns were always packed at the weekends with merchants, travelers and locals alike, all blending and laughing as if they'd grown up together, blissfully ignorant to the fact that they might never see each other again after this experience. Naturally the staff of each venue were locals, and on this particular night there was a certain purple-haired maiden working in the Golden Chariot inn. As Kara handed out yet another pint of beer to yet another already drunken patron she let out a very quiet and barely noticeable sigh. It had been a long night, but it had finally reached the point where she could work on autopilot. Most of the remaining patrons were sailors and merchants, all of whom generally stuck with the same beer right through the night.
Kara allowed her mind to drift towards the thoughts of her guild. Lamia Scale had grown to a substantial size since the day she'd first joined. She'd been the first member of the newly reformed guild and, although it had taken a while to pick up, it seemed that over the past week or so there had been more members joining that ever. Naturally she'd not gone to the guildhall over this week. Zuo the Guildmaster would be causing mayhem what with all the new members. She'd already been dropped in an underground labyrinth, been plunged into darkness and forced to find the guildmaster's office and her exam had her save a family from an inferno and then fight Zuo himself. No...she was much safer in here. She'd meet the new members one way or another at some point.
