Hikari's Time in Oak Town[closed/finished]

Hikari walked into a local bar that was in Oak town. Today, Hikari was wearing a black tube top with her usual plaid, pleated skirt with knee high, thick black shocks and and a pair of black boots. She forgot what she was supposed to be doing there but that didn't really matter. She sat down at the counter and waved at the barman. "Yo, bartender! Gimme your best beer!" She shouted as she set a bag of jewels down the the countertop and waited for her drink. Five minutes later, a big glass of beer slid down the counter stopping in front of Hikari. She picked up her glass and downed her beer in practically a split second. To Hikari, it was great and totally refreshing. She knew she shouldn't but she ordered two more of the same beer, then someone walked in and sat down next to her at the bar.

Passing by, walking back from a nice long mission, and as she was away for a while, she was also away from having a drink. Kariline grinned with a sly smile and decided to step in at a bar. Just a local thing, shouldn't be too hectic. The girl pushed open the door and passed by everyone who sat there. She felt like they were all watching her, she didn't smell did she?

The woman sat at the bar and ordered a glass of hard liquor. Local beer was never good as the stuff back at home, and besides, beer would just get her riled up where she wanted to relax. Yet the girl next to her seemed to be downing the good stuff as she had three empty pints around her. Either that or she got dumped by some sorry loser and she was pumping up for revenge.

" Take it easy, you'll get the hiccups." She said as she gulped down the liquor. She always enjoyed sucking on the ice afterwards and popped a few in her mouth. She looked around the bar, she realized people weren't looking at her but rather the tiny fairy sized succubus that was sitting casually on her shoulder. Kariline sighed and just turned the other way.

Hikari was glad to see it was a girl that had sat next to her and not a guy. Some idiotic man would have spoiled her good mood but Hikari cocked an eyebrow at the thing that was sitting on the woman's shoulder then turned her focus onto the girl when she spoke. Hikari just shrugged what she said off because she never once got hiccups when she drank like that so it didn't really matter to her. She finished her fourth pitcher of beer she'd just ordered a second ago and looked to the girl. "Don't worry, i don't get hiccups just from downing some beer." Hikari's face was slightly flushed but she wasn't drunk yet. However, a couple more beers and the bar just might get a nice little show.

(OOC: The last line is referring to how Hikari strips when she's plastered)

The woman grinned at her response. Naive, that is how it sounded, but there could be a chance she was telling the truth. Kariline just slurped down the rest of her ice and ordered another round. She liked the feeling of the liquor as it got warm down her throat, yet it was smooth so it didn't burn. Not like she couldn't handle hot as a demon summoner.

It had been a while since she had been to Oak town, so long as the last time she was here was when she was a child, but that was a long time ago, and brought up memories she didn't want to think about. Kari looked at the girl, her face was turning a pink shade.

" So when did he leave you?" She said assuming she was drinking for emotional reasons as most women tend to.

Hikari just looked at the girl and cocked an eyebrow. "Huh? What are ya talkin' about?" Hikari didn't know what the girl had meant by that. Then Hikari realized the girl must've thought that Hikari was drinking because she was dumped. Seeing as how she though all men were idiots and despicable that certainly was not the case, she was drinking just to drink. Hikari loved the taste of a good hearty, draft beer. She also liked her liquor soft, so after four beers she looked over to the bartender "Hey, bartender, gimme one of your good liqueurs!" she shouted that as she placed some more jewels down on the bar's countertop. Then Hikari looked back to the girl and cleared her throat. "Look lady, i didn't get dumped. In my eyes all men, are good-for-nothin' idiots. I'm drinking cause I like to, ok? Oh and by the way, what's that thing that sitting on your shoulder anyways?" The reason Hikari ordered something soft this time was because she knew what would happen if she got plastered. She just ran her fingers through her long scarlet hair while she waited for her drink.

She raised and eyebrow and grinned. She thought that guys were overindulgent as well. This girl and her could get along. Kari liked to drink, and she liked to drink. Simple bonding element. " I apologize for that assumption, i just figured a pretty girl like you would have men on their knees begging. " She closed her eyes and grinned, she was experiencing man trouble, she had one that really stuck a thorn in her butt. Dont get her wrong, she was not sexist in the least but she was losing faith in men, and Lillitha didn't help with that at all.

Speaking of, " This is a Fairy sized Succubus named Lillitha, the source of all my troubles right now, dont worry she wont bite, you arn't male." Kariline finished another drink instantly. She smiled and said, " She is like a pet, that i cant get rid of..."
The Succubus stuck her tongue out at Kari and flew to the counter to get a drop of Kari's alcohol.

Hikari just blushed when the girl called her pretty. Then a few seconds later, a small glass of caramel colored liqueur slid down the counter and stopped in front of Hikari. She downed it in a second, letting out a sigh of happiness. Having a drink in the middle of the day, really was the best. THe girl then pointed to the thing siting on her shoulder , "This is a Fairy sized Succubus named Lillitha, the source of all my troubles right now, don't worry she wont bite, you aren't male." Hikari was surprised to find out that, the little thing was a succubus but she'd seen weirder things than that. Once the girl finished talking, Hikari lined up all her glasses in one straight line on the counter but she couldn't seem to get them to be completely straight which cause a little irritation in Hikari. Being the perfectionist she was, this was very vexing for her. She finally managed to get them completely straight then turned to the girl. "sorry, I never told ya who i was, did i? I'm Hikari Inoue, nice to meet you." She just smiled and held out her hand for the girl to shake.

Her stomach started to grumble as she sipped down what she had left. Kariline felt the warm tingly feeling of the alcohol. You would think that with how much she drank, Kariline would have a better alcohol tolerance. But no, especially the hard stuff and on an empty stomach. Hmm she felt like a plate of roast on rice sounded good, and the thing was, she could get it from right around the corner. Her mouth began to water.

Kariline turned to the girl who had introduced herself and held out her hand. She raised a brow and took her hand and slightly shook it. " Kariline, Nice to meetcha." She said before ordering one more round, it was almost about time for her to head back, but only after a meal. You cant travel on a empty stomach.

She wondered what was going on in Lamia Scale right now, if Zuo was greeting more new members, as the guild was growing by the butt load. She was meeting a new face nearly every day. What all of a sudden caused all of this.

The girl then slightly shook her hand. " Kariline, Nice to meetcha." Rin then noticed the girl's guild tattoo and said "So you're a member of Lamia Scale then huh?" Hikari just continued to stare at the girl waiting for a reply. She then ordered another glass of the liqueur. It was pretty tasty, better than the beer in fact.

She glanced down at her tattoo, " Yeah i have been for a few months. " She said. Lillitha danced around the table, apparently she was already drunk from only a few sips. Of course she is very tiny so Kariline could see why. "Are you a mage?" She asked seeming as how the girl was interesting in her tattooo.

The girl then asked Hikari if she was a mage and Hikari just nodded her head in reply. "Yea, I use crimson-make magic" She downed the small glass liqueur she'd just ordered and lined it up next to the other glasses trying to make it perfectly straight once more. Hikari then ordered another beer this time, she wanted something hard and the beer there was pretty damn good, at least to her. Even though she knew, she'd get plastered and start to strip, she ordered one anyways.
