    Primary Magic: Black Ink Control
    Secondary Magic: None
    Caster or Holder: Caster
    Description: In the Seymund family, the Black Ink Control is a mandatory magic that must be attained by the age of 12. Every family member Is given a tattoo of various beasts along their arms with a special ink that taps into the subject’s mana. With these tattoos, the user’s mana is projected as dark images that is molded by the users darkest desire. This magic, sadly, comes with a price. The user is haunted by a dark being that causes their personality to change in the heat of battle. This can prove to be a good and bad thing.

    Black Ink Control functions somewhat like Make magic as it creates objects of the caster's darkest thoughts out of a solid form of darkness. Depending on the type of person, the magic will adapt from long range to close-quarters and is quite versatile. By using the anger of one's mind, the Black Ink can strengthen their speed or strength to incredible values.

    A tiny, dark being, referred to as a Esnum (non combat pet), are annoying little things responsible with buffing their master. They, however tend to be quite cowardly and hide inside of the user when hit even once. In addition to the Esnum, another, more powerful monster lurks inside of the caster (acts as a combat pet. Not sure how to make this work. Maybe when a stronger pet is purchased, instead of an new pet, it's the being becoming stronger.). These beings, called Savants, are the also part of the user's magic. They aid the user in combat and have abilities to shield the user from harm. Savants tend to be quite nice to other people, but not to it's master. They feel that the caster has to prove themselves before they fight for them. If A Savant is killed during a fight, they sink back into the caster and whatever power they attained is lost (they can come back as a weak pet with all of their stats reset if that's allowed). They're only able to hold Artifacts/Magical Items and will permanently lose them upon death.
    Strengths:

    • Diverse Damage- Depending on the user's mind, this magic is capable of blunt, slashing, and piercing damage.
    • Stealth Oriented- Since the magic is of a dark persuasion, it's perfect for stealthy users. Most of it's spells are undetectable by normal hearing or sight. Magic detection or enhanced hearing will detect it of course.
    • Dark Enhancement- The Black Ink Projection magic has the ability to buff attack and speed via spells, but only work with the caster.

    Weaknesses:

    • Selfish- This magic isn't recommended to be used in a team because of it's volatile nature. Hitting an ally is almost bound to happen.
    • Harmful Light- Users of this magic are weak to Light based magics, items, and monsters. This includes light healing magic. The amount healed will instead be taken as damage.
    • Long Term Sickness- This magic has a history of slowly sapping the life of its user, resulting in bad health later on in life. Certain spells will have a price to pay in the user's health.
    • Soul of Black- If combat lasts for over 20 turns, the user's personality becomes darker. When the battle continues to a total of 30 turns, the Black Ink takes over, changing the user into an evil version of their original self. This won't boost stats, but will cause the mage to be much more aggressive and ups the chance for Spell Sickness. This may have other negative effects in the long run...

    Lineage:

       Description: Orion was a legendary hunter. Being a demigod, there was no beast to strong or powerful for him to subdue. His name was renown throughout the kingdoms. But what makes him really legendary is his ability, Beast Bane. An ability that allows him to defeat beastkin with ease.
       Ability: Beast Bane is an ability that instills fear into the heart of beast or beast like creature making them unable to launch successful attacks. (includes animals, werekin and dragonkin). In addition, it causes pets to be unable to fight for the duration. Increase the HP of user’s pet by 50%, and increase it's melee damage by 50%.
       Usage: 3 post duration with a 5 post cooldown.  Only works on beasts the equivalent of user’s rank or lower. Passive boost to HP and melee damage of the user’s pet.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Wraith Voice (Active)- For a single post, a being that haunts the caster warns them of potential danger. They are then able to avoid the damage by giving up the chance to attack. This ability has a 4 post cooldown.
    • Blackest Night (Passive)- Caster is able to see clearly in the dark.
    • Trail of Black (Passive)- When in a dark area, the caster's footsteps are muffled.

    Name: Black Ink Sphere Barrage
    Rank: D
    Type: Dark Offensive. Multi-hit.
    Cast Time: Instant
    Duration:Instant
    Cooldown: 1 posts.
    Description: Bharail extends her hand a black spell circle appears behind her. 10 dark spheres are shot out of the circle and peruse the target to a certain degree. The spell takes around a second to cast and the projectiles reach targets about 90ft. away. The Bullet Barrage acts like a sub machine gun, delivering sizable projectiles at a moderate distance. The projectiles have a wide spread and deal 3hp of damage each.
    Strengths:

    • Quick- This spell requires no charge time and is perfect for quickly dealing small amounts of damage.
    • Versatile- The Bullet Barrage is effective the closer the target, but proves slightly effective at around 50ft.

    Weaknesses:

    • Low Penetration- This spell has little to no chance to penetrate armor or thick hide.
    • Wide Spread- The projectiles are quite wild and can stray from the target the further away they are. It takes a miracle to hit anything more than 80ft. away.
    • Flimsy- Her projectiles can be easily redirected or blocked.

    Type: Dark Utility/Supportive. Snare
    Charge Time: 1 post
    Duration: 2 posts
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: The caster reels their arm back and charges the spell for a few seconds. After the charge, they makes an uppercut motion. A spell circle appears under their target and a black box attempts to trap the opponent. If the box touches the target, it becomes trapped and lifted into the air for some time. This spell only works for enemies of her rank.  
    Strengths:

    • Snare- Traps enemies her same rank
    • Moving Cargo- She's able to move the box during it's duration.

    Weaknesses:

    • Lead feet- During the charge, her movement is limited to only walking.
    • Size limit- The box's dimensions are 10ft.X10ft.X10ft. Anything more will not be contained.
    • Non-Damaging- The spell does not cause damage to the captured entity.

    Type: Dark Offensive.
    Charge Time: 3 posts
    Charge Breakdown:

    • 0 post charge: 0 damage
    • 1 post charge: Normal Spell Damage
    • 2 post charge: 1.5 X Normal Spell Damage
    • 3 post Charge: 3 X Normal Spell Damage

    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: She crouches into a sniper position and points her hand at her target. A spell circle appears in the palm of her hand and grows larger the longer it's charged. When she's satisfied with her charge level, she thrusts her hand foward, sending a large black spike toward her target at incredible speed. It's able to hit targets up to 150ft. while traveling at about 93mph. The Black Ink Spear is highly capable of piercing damage.
    Strengths:

    • Piercing- The Spear is able to pierce armor/hide of its rank.
    • Sniper's Gift- This spell is insanely accurate.

    Weaknesses:

    • Sniper's Burden- During the charge, she cannot move
    • Death Chime- When the spell is fully charged, a chime sound is heard, giving away her position
    • Trigger Warning- If distracted, the spell will be released in the direction the user has their hand is pointing.



    Name: Black Ink Extension
    Rank: D
    Type: Shadow Offensive/Utility/Buff
    Cast Time: Instant
    Duration:: 4 posts, but the caster is able to hold it longer while suffering some effects.
    Cooldown:: 2 posts more than the duration.
    Description: The caster extends her hand and a spell circle appears behind the shoulder of the extended hand. A large black arm extends from the circle and mimics the movements of their own. The arm extends 6 ft. from her own and can be used for offense and movement purposes. The arm lasts for as long as the caster can hold it, but comes at a cost.
    Strengths:

    • Strength Increases- The hand allows the caster to lift up to 200lbs.
    • Mobility- The user is able to toss themselves around with the hand by pushing off a surface.
    • Extend Range- The user is able to reach an additional 6 ft. past their own hand, allowing them to reach what they couldn't before.

    Weaknesses:

    • Spell Ghost- Spells go right through this arm, making it impossible to block magic or climb walls created by magic.
    • Pain Transfer- When the hand is attacked, the pain and damage is transferred to the holder's arm.
    • Evil Tendencies- The Black Ink Extension causes the user's darker personality to show faster.
    • Strain- When the caster pushes past the 4 post limit, the spell takes a toll on the caster's life force and even more so on their mana. The arm will turn red and drain 5% of their hp per post. In addition to it's increased mana cost via Limit Transcendence, it will take 10% more to hold it.

    • Spell Sickness- If too many spells are casted quickly one after the other (3 spells in the span of 3 posts), the user will feel a strong urge to vomit, losing 20% of their current health in the process. You only need 1 more weakness than you do strengths, so you can remove this one if you wish; or lower the number to 5-10% if you wish to keep it.
    • Soul of Black- If combat lasts for over 20 turns, the user's personality becomes darker. When the battle continues to a total of 30 turns, the Black Ink takes over, changing the user into an evil version of their original self. This won't boost stats, but will cause the mage to be much more aggressive and ups the chance for Spell Sickness. This may have other negative effects in the long run...

This ability can only be used once a mission. You can improve this! Make it have a 3-4 post cooldown so that it may be used more than once in a topic!

(A lot of people have really tall characters! You can also add like a half rank of damage per post to this if you want. So a full rank of damage over the duration.)

Since this is a charge spell that takes 3 posts you can increase the damage if you wish. (With current weaknesses, etc., I'd recommend 3x rank of spell damage. But if fired with no charge it deals 0, and 1 turn of charging it does 1.5x a rank in damage!)

    Just about all my comments were possible buffs or changes to make things easier on you with use of the magic. Nothing NEEDS to be changed if you do not wish to change it! If you wish to leave it as is let me know and I'll approve it! (Or let me know what you edited so I can go over it again)

    Description: The caster reels their arm back and charges the spell for a few seconds. After the charge, they makes an uppercut motion. A spell circle appears under their target and a black box attempts to trap the opponent. If the box touches the target, it becomes trapped and lifted into the air for some time. This spell only works for enemies of her rank.  
    Strengths:

    • Snare- Traps enemies her same rank
    • Moving Cargo- She's able to move the box during it's duration.

    Weaknesses:

    • Lead feet- During the charge, her movement is limited to only walking.
    • Size limit- The box's dimensions are 10ft.X10ft.X10ft. Anything more will not be contained.
    • Non-Damaging- The spell does not cause damage to the captured entity.

    Description: She crouches into a sniper position and points her hand at her target. A spell circle appears in the palm of her hand and grows larger the longer it's charged. When she's satisfied with her charge level, she thrusts her hand foward, sending a large black spike toward her target at incredible speed. It's able to hit targets up to 150ft. while traveling at about 93mph. The Black Ink Spear is highly capable of piercing damage.
    Strengths:

    • Piercing- The Spear is able to pierce armor/hide of its rank.
    • Sniper's Gift- This spell is insanely accurate.

    Weaknesses:

    • Sniper's Burden- During the charge, she cannot move
    • Death Chime- When the spell is fully charged, a chime sound is heard, giving away her position
    • Trigger Warning- If distracted, the spell will be released in the direction the user has their hand is pointing.

    Type: Shadow Offensive/Utility/Buff
    Cast Time: Instant
    Duration:: 4 posts, but the caster is able to hold it longer while suffering some effects.
    Cooldown:: 2 posts more than the duration.
    Description: The caster extends her hand and a spell circle appears behind the shoulder of the extended hand. A large black arm extends from the circle and mimics the movements of their own. The arm extends 6 ft. from her own and can be used for offense and movement purposes. The arm lasts for as long as the caster can hold it, but comes at a cost.
    Strengths:

    • Strength Increases- The hand allows the caster to lift up to 200lbs.
    • Mobility- The user is able to toss themselves around with the hand by pushing off a surface.
    • Extend Range- The user is able to reach an additional 6 ft. past their own hand, allowing them to reach what they couldn't before.

    Weaknesses:

    • Spell Ghost- Spells go right through this arm, making it impossible to block magic or climb walls created by magic.
    • Pain Transfer- When the hand is attacked, the pain and damage is transferred to the holder's arm.
    • Evil Tendencies- The Black Ink Extension causes the user's darker personality to show faster.
    • Strain- When the caster pushes past the 4 post limit, the spell takes a toll on the caster's life force and even more so on their mana. The arm will turn red and drain 5% of their hp per post. In addition to it's increased mana cost via Limit Transcendence, it will take 10% more to hold it.
