A Wild New Challenge! Practice Session: neferti v.s Maximus Cloud!

Claus stood in the middle of the clear plain in the forest. Rubbing onto his chin lightly, he pondered as to how he managed to wind up here; losing himself in thought was something he was known for, but never this badly. He sighed and sat himself down on a rock, waiting for someone or something to possibly come and tell him exactly where he was.

Cloud was jumping from tree to tree in the middle of a forest during his daily exercise. He stopped to see a young man in a clearing. This young man was about to get blind sided by a grizzly bear, but for sport Cloud decided to help the lad. He jumped down from the tallest tree overlooking the clearing and managed to land both of his feet onto the bears spine slamming it to the ground with the raw power his velocity gave him. The massive bear's spine cracked harshly leaving the beast with a broken spine. Cloud looked at the young man and spoke, "He's done."

Claus jumped quickly, shouting, "Exquip: Standard Armor!" He took a few steps back as his armor quickly wrapped around his body. Gripping onto his sword, he charged towards the mysterious man. Once he got close enough, he swung out his sword, hitting the man in his shoulder.

Cloud felt the slash of cold steel trust into his shoulder and the warm blood rush down his arm. He smiled, "I see how it is." Cloud laughed as he prepared his spell. "Deity Possession: Shita," he paused after the transformation, "Shita's blood root fissure." Cloud slammed his fist to the ground causing a canyon to form with the hundreds of tree roots in the area trying to grab on to his opponent's arms and legs to drag him beneath the surface so the canyon could close over him trapping him forever. The young mage however managed to use his agility to avoid hundreds of roots extruding from the ground."Not bad. If you had been caught you would have died, no questions asked."

Claus slid a bit as he tried to catch himself, panting lightly.
He chuckled,"Yeah, you can say that. But as for you!" He charged forward again, switching his sword for his two Hidden Blades, lunged forward at the man. The man managed to dodge his attack, sending him flying towards the dirt. He spit out the clumps that landed into his mouth and got up, readying himself again.
