Special Characteristics:
A metal disk over hear heart, it's smoothly embedded in her chest with a slight depression. The metal disk has a pentagram carved in it, with words instead of lines and small symbols that induce a headache in anyone who reads them, followed by forgetfulness of the metal disk entirely. This is the flat surface of a blessed celestial silver stake embedded in hear heart.
A gold sphere replacing her left eye that glows like molten gold when A) Silent Night is using an active power, or B) You are under the influence of either an Active or Passive effect. Otherwise it's a softer pale gold. Along with this gold is a scar that runs vertically over her eye. Forming an "Iris" as well as an outer ring barely noticeable due to eyelids, are a series of small symbols and runes that induce a headache in anyone who reads them, followed by forgetfulness of the eye entirely.
If someone reads both the eye and the heart runes, Silent Night no longer gets recalled in their memory naturally without someone else bringing her up or she is seen again, though the memory is hazy. This is a special characteristic because it isn't that potent of an effect, and is hard to trigger. If it helps, I will eventually make these into legit items. Until then though, these are very central to the character and are displayed here so they will not be missed.
Personality:
Silent Night is very quiet and never speaks unless she feels it is necessary, and only after having thought about what to say before she says it. She considers everything she says in detail before opening her mouth and tends to ignore things said to her if she thinks the answer should be self evident. At heart though she is just socially awkward, and feels insecure in saying things that don't have value neither does she even know how she should respond to most things. Once she has an idea, she feels it's too late and the time has passed. She banks on this and doesn't even try anymore, speaking only when spoken to and her response is necessary, or if speaking would be more effective than an action.
Despite this silence, and the awkwardness at heart, she is very confident in herself and her place in the world. By not worrying about anything and letting go of emotions Silent Night is in a constant state of Zen. This state however, cannot be felt by those around her. The very nature of her zen and the attributes she carries scrambles intuitive senses making people draw a blank. People just feel nothing. This isn't perfect though. While her state is highly advanced, those who have a similar state of being - A value in understanding, and seeking higher levels of insight and beyond those we as imperfect humans seem content with. It could be described as " A silent reverence towards life and the state of the reality we live in" - and are on a comparable level can see through it. What they see, the feelings they get, are feelings of purity, of beauty, but also of silence.
She is very empathetic and connects with people on a psychological level, before factoring The Sight, in which it is as though she feels what they feel. She feels on a deep level the weight of that person's existence. She feels their emotional state, a distant but there sensation, though vague, of their fears and their worries. She can tell when people are troubled and can to a vague extent sense the connection between them and what troubles them even though it doesn't always seem like it should be a logical conclusion. This sensation is a defining characteristic of her personality and by having this sense from birth is what has driven her along her desires to attain higher levels of intuition and seek out an understanding of life and reality that few even consider.
This empathetic understanding, however, does not get in the way or stop her from being who she is, or perhaps because of it she is the way she is. She feels life as a whole and in a darker shade of gray. Individual lives are weighty, and all have meaning no matter how small some may be. Life is fleeting. Life as we know it is temporary. No matter the state we move onto after we move on, this remains a truth. The mortal life we all experience is temporary. But the actions we take can speak through the generations to come and shape the future. And so while she values the life of an individual, it will not stop her from taking action to shape civilization.
Silent Night doesn't support the ideas of good or evil, order or chaos. She respects life but readily ends it. She respects death, yet her goal is ultimately to defy it. What she does, all the actions she may take in life, are all to preserve harmony. And though in the moment her goals may be difficult to understand or see, Silent Night is long suffering and patient. Her goals are spread out an an eternal perspective beyond even the extent of her own mortal existence.
She avoids getting into fights, when she approaches a mission of hers whatever it may be, she does so from the shadows. To never be seen, to never leave a trace of herself. She only leaves events. A missing person. A mysterious death. Or more subtle events, a copied document, an altered document, a planted object... or, subtler still, altered or missing memories. Actions that have no apparent cause. No scratch nor papers out of place, no sound nor scent. No witnesses. The perfect crime, every time.
When she does get into an open confrontation, Silent Night puts an end to it as quickly and efficiently as possible which may sometimes mean another missing persons report. If she has time, she will alter memories rather than kill an individual. If she is strapped for time, she'll end them and dispose of the evidence. If someone is getting away and they saw her and weren't effected by her automatic defenses, she wouldn't hesitate to put an arrow through their head before they can talk.
Silent Night would be effective as a leader, with her talent for planning and taking all actions into consideration she could easily execute very effective missions. However, she does not easily trust others to accomplish something, not when she herself could do it. She does not like speaking, and thus issuing orders once the plan is initiated would strain her to an extent. This could be circumvented through alternative methods of communication. But ultimately, Silent Night works alone and even if she did end up working with others, she would still have to erase them once the work is accomplished.
Likes:
✪ Ghosting. Silent Night likes it when she is able to accomplish a goal without ever being detected, or noticed in anyway. Whats more, the longer it takes for people to even notice the effect she had, the better, and leave them wondering how or why this - whatever "this" is - happened to them. She is very good at this as well, disregarding magical abilities Silent Night is extremely proficient at these things.
✪ Symbolism. Silent Night greatly enjoys symbolism. Magical symbolism, religious or spiritual symbolism. Philosophical symbolism, alchemical symbolism. She appreciates it all. This leads her to have a deeper appreciation of the arts in general, as well as gives her a knowledge and understanding of a variety of symbols and codes. She is adept at finding the hidden meanings to things.
✪ Meditation. Silent Night believes in keeping a perpetually calm outlook on life unhinged from concepts of Order and Chaos or Good and Evil. Fears and Desires, Morality, are all weights that hold one down. Through Mediation she cleanses herself of these "limitations" and focuses herself on achieving Silence in it's purest state.
Dislikes:
✪ Open confrontation. This is in opposition of her "Like" of ghosting. Silent Night will never stick around if she gets into open combat. If she gets that far in the first place, she has failed somewhere. She does all she can to avoid it, and when in it she will do all she can to get out of it but also cover her tracks to some extent. She doesn't usually have to resort to forcibly erasing memories or killing, as she always accounts for this before hand and leaves no indicators of who she is or even her true appearance. Thus if the memory fog doesn't work, she still has little to worry about. This of course tells us that she is also very thorough and plans for failure, and thus she never truly fails. She lays plans on top of plans.
✪ Public Awareness. Similar to Open Confrontation but on a grander scale and also in opposition to her Ghosting clause. Silent Night does everything she can to avoid Public Awareness. This means she never lets people become aware of her in general. She doesn't leave any calling cards or make any big show of anything. Her only calling card... is Silence. The only viable way of tracing her is by searching for the lack of her. Finding the pieces and the forgetfulness that occasionally fall in her wake. A tough trail to follow, especially if you don't know what to look for.
✪ Disrespectful punks. While Silent Night doesn't associate much with anyone in general, Silent Night still has finds those who do not give proper respect to anyone to be scum. Those who are so self absorbed or willfully ignorant that they take no consideration to the lives of those around them. This may come as a surprise, since Silent Night herself ends the lives of countless people. However, she is far from self absorbed. She respects the life of each individual she kills and weighs their life in her mind before letting it go. There are times when she feels the weight of tragedy when she takes or contemplates taking certain individuals lives. It the weight is significant enough without equal weight in reasons to kill, she will pass them by.
Motivations:
✪ Alter History: Silent Night's goal is to be a shaper of history. Taking the flow of time in her hands and shaping the way the future unfolds, or molding the lens through which the past is viewed. Through manipulation of key individuals to different extends, or eliminating them, in conjunction with The Sight, she sees the ties and connections people are oblivious to and pulls on these ties to play a melody few can sense, but all will feel.
✪ Remain Anonymous: Silent Night never wants her presence to be known, she never wants people to learn of her. She believes that if people sense her presence not only will it mess with The Silence, it would also taint the melody of time she wishes to weave forever scarring the validity of her alterations to history.
✪ Obtain Transcendence: Silent Night's ultimate goal is to transcend mortal limitations and achieve a level of understanding and sense comparable only to the highest of deities. To obtain Omniscience. To feel and grasp the very melodies of time as a whole and watch them be sung throughout the eternities... And to defend them. To make sure the light of life never dies.
Fears:
✪ Making emotional connections. Well and truly her only fear, Silent Night is afraid of forming emotional ties to people, objects, or places. She goes out of her way to abandon things that she starts to feel connected to in any emotional way. While she may only have one legit fear (Forcing any more on me would be ridiculously tacking on empty meaningless and senseless entries just to meet your quota. This fear is tenuous enough as it is.), there are of course things she would avoid doing or would hate to occur. But those are not fears. Those are dislikes, or common sense.
Well then, here you go. Two lazy, contrived fears that will never even see the light of day IC:
- Fear of saying the word Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious when wearing a bonnet while the national anthem of mars is playing in the background. Yea, she's deathly afraid of doing this. It makes her eye twitch.
- Fear of swimming in monkey shit with animated bananas chasing her with golden sporks. She doesn't really know where this came from, perhaps she saw a childish picture when she was young. All she knows now is even thinking about it makes her itch a little behind her left ear.

- Silent Night is physically a very fit woman who naturally as with almost every other mage manages to retain a perfectly attractive physique despite her physically demanding lifestyle and activities which would normally leave little room for ample fat with which to provide a stereotypically desirable form, with a well rounded buttocks and shapely breast. Yet she does, it's a mage thing. Related of course to her, and any other mage of her level, ability to break brick walls down with a kick or survive being thrown hard enough to form a crater in the ground, or take jets of flame without being turned into a crisp perhaps with reddened flesh but not much else.
From top down, Silent Night has golden blond hair worn long which in addition to fitting nicely with her molten gold eye has a tendency to never get in her way, tangle, or get caught in anything. Likewise, hair as with all mages is indestructible and remains dramatically unphased by explosions, flame, or storms of blades. An additional perk is that it always seems to flow dramatically in the given moment. Her eyes, or eye, is a very vibrant crystal blue that is full of life and vitality, bearing with it a sort of silent beauty. Most, however, cant see anything. They recognize the blue but to them her eyes feel full of only mystery and lack of understanding as they can't get a read on her, they can't even see the "light of her eyes". Her other eye is not natural, but is a gold sphere carved with runes in the form two circles, an outer circle that is obscured in part by her eyelids as it's very wide circle, and an inner circle which is where a normal eye's iris would be. These circles are not solid, but are made from small runes. More detail at the top of this app. Her face is well defined with a strong- but feminine- jawline and chin, shapely lips and a smooth nose not too big but not too small with a smooth slope and more of a rounded tip.
Neck down, Silent Night is in short essentially the stereotypical "perfect body", everything a woman can dream to be and even most models require photoshop to obtain. Way to reinforce unrealistic beauty standards, but it's hardly her fault she is blessed with a great body. A body that is, of course, free of natural blemish. However, throughout her body can be seen thin elegant scars that add character. There are only two scars that are not soft and clean, and those are the scar over her left eye, the eye with the golden sphere, and a scar on her back between the shoulder blades where it looks like she got stabbed through with a lance at one time and has since healed and faded to the point that it too is in a way elegant and not sickening to look at.
- Style wise, Silent Night in at her truest self dresses in greens in practical clothing as seen in the first image. A short top made of thick well fitting materials that do provide protection, at least, it protects the minimal area covered. But the idea is not to get hit in the first place, and the top keeps her breasts well secured without restricting her mobility in any way, only adding to it thanks to it's firm hold of her little ladies. Attached to this top is a dark hood mostly for convenience and of course, hoods look great. She doesn't actually rely on it for anything. The top also has small pouches and hidden pockets.
The bottom half of the outfit matches the top, made of the same material and is very secure on her body without slipping or getting in the way of movement. These cargo pants have plenty of storage space and pouches for the holding and concealment of items as well as providing good protection to her legs. She wears a pair of solid well made boots that do restrict movement a little as far as the ankle is concerned, but it supports her foot and gives her all the movement she needs while the support lets her do other things, and the gripped bottoms hold fast to avoid slipping and can help in climbing when little surface is available.
