PASSPORT TIME! (Kyll and Marick)

Kyll walked up to the long line wering her normal mission wear: sleeveless light blue and white kimono top, black body suit, white gloves, white ankle high flat boots, and her signature white rope with bells on the ends around her dark blue obi. The wind blew through her hair as she hopped up and down just to see how far back she was, making the bells ring. "Are you serious?" Kyll sighed as she put her hands on her hips then awaited for the ever long wait of waits. Just to get her passport. Mages looked at her like she was crazy as she kicked at nothing on the ground. She was more upset by the fact that there was more of a wait than ever... TODAY of all days. She put a hand through her long black hair and took in a rather long inhale. Kyll was rather apprehensive about getting this passport. However, the purpose for leaving the country was going to make getting the passport worth it. Kyll pulled the silver butterfly pendant from her pocket and looked at it. "So in order to be a part of that family, I have to actually go through some trials..." She looked out towards the window lady with the passports. "And to get to MIDI... I have to go through THIS trial." Kyll sighed again. She stomped her foot and looked up at the sky. "Though today feels like it's going to be an interesting day."

Busy again? I'd have thought most people would have gotten their passports by now... Marick released a long sigh and rested his right hand on the hilt of his sword. If he'd known he'd have to go and get his passport re-checked then he probably would have done it the day he joined Sabertooth rather than now, on the busiest and hottest day of this week. So hot in fact that Marick wasn't even wearing his jacket today.

Still, Marick was a patient man. He was sure he'd find things to do while he waited. Maybe play a couple of card games with somebody. And then he saw her; Kyll Vie, the woman he'd met once before and ended up more than a little drunk with. From what he could remember, she'd passed out for some reason and so, Marick being the gentleman he was, he'd placed her in his room at the Snuggly Duckling...then went downstairs and promptly passed out himself at the bar.

He was going to go to speak to her, but she was a few places in front of him. If he moved from this spot then he couldn't guarantee that he'd be allowed to slip into the line with her, nor that he'd be able to slip back in the queue where he currently was. It was a conundrum that was for sure. He could find a way to get her attention...but how? The answer was given to him in the form of a hot coffee being spilled down his back as a few people jostled in frustration. Marick let out a loud yell and pulled his shirt off, easing the burning sensation from his back almost immediately - as well as revealing his complete upper body and all of his tattoo's. It seemed the people who spilled it were oblivious though, merely watching him in confusion. "..."

Kyll sighed and then heard a yell, a splatter, and a cup hit the ground. She turned around to see Marick. Not only Marick, but Marick... shirtless. Kyll put a gloved hand on her face and blushed. Splurt! The women beside her looked at her freaked out and ran out of the line shortening her place by one and the people in front of Marick left thinking that Kyll had some sort of ailment. "M-Marick..." Kyll said shaking her head. She looked at the crowd and giggled. "You really do know how to scare people off huh?" Of course Kyll knew in her mind that it was Marick's fault that people thought she had some sort of disease, but in reality it was really her's for actually taking a glance back. Kyll dug her opposite hand into her obi then looked back at the blonde mage. "What are you doing here?" She asked. She was rather intrigued by Marick back at the tavern she visited for the first time. She also wanted to thank Marick for being such a kindhearted soul and giving her his room. She just needed to figure out how to repay him. The cogs in Kyll's mind turned as she thought of what she was going to do next. Maybe take him to Midi? Well that would be too much. What about going to a bar here in Rose Garden? Oh yeah... some rose wine would be awesome right now. Kyll thought thinking of her next drunken adventure with Marick.

The line seemed to be thinning out rapidly as the crowd of people between Marick and Kyll suddenly dispersed. Kyll seemed to be the cause of it all, as she approached Marick with a giggle. She seemed surprised that he was in the queue for a passport as well, although the answer was much more simple and less exciting than Kyll's reasoning no doubt. "A lot has changed for me since we last met." he laughed, before pointing to the Sabertooth insignia on his neck. "I joined a guild for starters. Sabertooth." He swung his shirt onto his shoulder and looked out over the queue ahead of the two of them with a sigh of disdain. "Unfortunately that means I need to have my passport renewed to show my new affiliation. I was hoping it wouldn't be this busy if I'm honest." he continued, before looking down at the Eclipse Soul Ace, chuckling as he remembered the day they'd first met. "You're looking more lively than the last time I saw you. I'm sorry I had to leave before you woke up. A job came up."

Kyll giggled as the line moved forward. Those that were brave enough to continue standing there figured that it was just a reaction. "Well we found out the source to my nosebleeds." She said shaking her head and cleaning off her face. "I just need a way to cure it." Kyll smiled and looked at Marick's neck. "It seems like the neck is a common place for the tattoo." She lifted her hair up turning around revealing her Eclipse Soul tattoo. "It's great that you decided to go to Sabertooth. Zenshin is a great friend of mine." Kyll was still oblivious to the fact that Zenshin and Kyll shared a more closer bond than she really understood. "I helped him experiment with his eye. Revealed a lot more to me than I thought. I guess it was an after effect of our magics colliding. Say..." Kyll paused for a bit, she was rather embarrassed by the next question she would ask him. Their last drunken adventure ended with her in his bed confused as to what happened only a note left behind of him leaving out for a job. Probably the day he left out to join Zenshin's team of mages. "You know, would you like to go get a drink at--" She stopped for a moment and looked out into the city. Something felt very strange. "We may have to wait on that after we get our passports." The line thinned down and Kyll looked at the lady. "Kyll Vie... Eclipse Soul."

The woman seemed to have a warm smile on her face. She took out a paper and handed it to Kyll. "Is all the information correct?" When she handed her the paper she had a Savage Skull tattoo on her hand.

Kyll snatched the paper and looked at it. "Y-yes..."

"Have a great day... Your majesty... and for you Marick... " The lady handed him an updated passport.

Kyll looked at Marick and grabbed him by the wrist. "We gotta go!"
